WELL DONE , it's a shame otha delivery companies can't inform their customers like u do !!!!

It is impossible to speak to anyone. They say my tracking no isnt right, then give me another tracking no. when in fact the tracking system isnt working. The parcel is a precious link for a daughter who couldn't get home from Spain for Christmas. We have been told it is at a centre (still in UK?) then we were told it would be delivered on 19th January. They just say anything and give you no information about how to follow. According to the tracking no. it said 'parcel waiting to be picked up' yet we booked it on 7th January and it was eventually picked up on 11th January. These people should not be operating as they are taking our goods.

Zero customer service. As far as I can tell there is no way of contacting the company. In October I received a final delivery notice for a parcel, which had only one previosly attempted delivery. Even then, the notification the parcel was out for delivery came after the notification that a delivery attempt had been made. I'd briefly popped out believing the parcel was due the next day. Two days later, after no further communication I came home to a card specifying that the third and final delivery attempt had been made and the parcel would be returned to sender. I tried to contact Hermes but the bots couldnt register the request. I had to contact the retailer to get the delivery sorted, which then ment the parcel was late. Disappointing as it was a gift. Of late the driver has taken to abandoning parcels in the back garden, which is open to the street, and with no attempt to keep them out of sight. On a number of occasions I've been at home and only realised through receipt of the delivery email. She makes no attempt to ring the bell, or even leave parcels with neighbours to ensure they are securely received. I know others in the area have spoken with the driver to request she stops this practice, however it appears to be to be avail. I've tried again to contact Hermes to make a complaint. The service is shocking, and I do wish retailers would stick to more reliable delivery companies.

My tracked delivery was lost. I sold an item on eBay and it never arrived

This is probably the worse delivery company operating in the UK. They lie on the tracking system to make you think the delivery is on the way and suddenly the delivery stops with claims of corona virus. We have had several deliveries lost under their watch AVOID AVOID AVOID

I ordered a desk off amazon and hermes was the delivery service, not only did they extend the delivery time which I am fine with due to covid, they sent my package back to the sender without any reason told to me or the sender I can only assume that it was damaged by the courier and he couldn't be bothered to own up to it. And of course because it was hermes I could actually get anyone to speak with and we were just left with the repetitive robot assistant

Normally I can't fault their delivery service but they have had my package for almost 2 weeks! I've logged enquiries and keep being told we are looking into it. I can't get through to an actual person to talk to. I placed my order 3 weeks ago and was happy with a 5-7 day delivery but this is ridiculous even in these difficult circumstances.

Really bad service. They say the parcel is at the local depot for over 10 days now and when i try to contact hermes to find out more, there is no way of speaking to an advisor as i am just speaking to an online bot

Living in an apartment block on Salford Quays (M50), we experience poor service from some couriers . Maxine who delivers for Hermes is wonderful - she is diligent, efficient and friendly, brings parcels to the door, really seems to care - can't praise her enough.

Terrible service, no care for customer experience. After they arrived at completely the wrong address to collect a return, I decided to cancel my collection. In trying to navigate their customer care system, there was no opportunity for me to speak to a real person. When I did finally manage to get through to someone they just passed the problem on without actually helping me. I will not be using them again.

If I could give a 0 i would. Courier lies about delivery attempts and how they need more details on how to get to my address. Its not rocket science all they have to do is come to the door and press the buzzer number which is included on the delivery address info on the parcel. Uncontactable through trying to resolve a delivery issue. Only form of contact is through their dumb ass robot chat who ask for more info on your address give them this then boom within 2 days i get my parcel. However the foul launguage and attatute of the delivery driver was 100% uncalled for throwing two heavy packages at her and tell her to do one because we have got him into bother with his "boss". WELLL maybe actually DO your JOB !!!

I've never had a single correct delivery with Hermes. This latest one was delivered to the wrong building on the wrong street (by a courier who has been to my building before!). Terrible couriers, bad customer support. Avoid like the plague.

Absolutely shocking service from Hermes for the third time! Sent a parcel on the 18th December 2020, it’s the 19th of January 2021 today and tracking still says, ‘We have your parcel and it’s on its way to your local depot’. Parcel has disappeared off the face of the earth. Hermes call handler answered the phone after half an hour of ringing and she was absolutely useless! Hermes have refused to compensate me for the loss or refund the postage despite me ticking the insurance box. Call handler was no help whatsoever and she even refused to give me details of who I could complain to. Neither me or my company will use these couriers again!

I paid for a collection on January 8th and have had a not eon the door stating that people are in the house (lockdown!) and it's been 11 days and no collection. There is no way of speaking to a human about this you just get infuriating responses over the phone or online from automated messages. I can't even find a way to get a refund. I will never use this service again. I understand there can be delays and that the drivers are working hard etc but it's the fact that there is no form of customer service to resolve problems when they occur. I am now stuck having paid for collection and no way in hell to speak with anyone about cancelling or understanding if it will ever be collected?! Just don't use them it's a waste of money, time and energy.

Hermes received my parcel on the 7th.on the 9th they said my parcel is delayed and be on the move in 24h.i emailed them on the 18th why my parcel hasn't arrived.then magically they apparently delivered it on the same day to my safespot.i didn't instruct them to do so.no card and no parcel in the safespot.contacted jd and they said I need to fill in a dispute form which will take 10 working days to process meaning I'm without the product or the money in total for min.3 weeks absolute shambles.

Absolutely ridiculous, they charged us £1.30 + £3 admin fee after delivering the parcel. We checked it, it was just under 1kg, but they said it was but more, they should tell us when collecting the parcel not after it’s delivered. Never using them again ever.

I received a email to say that Hermes driver had delivered my parcel from M&S at 18:32. No body rang the bell there was no card left, and myself and husband have looked in the garden and up the drive no parcel anywhere. I'm shocked that M& S use Hermes. So I take it now that's my parcel gone astray. Every time a parcels being delivered by Hermes something goes wrong. Either its damaged or something missing or I don't receive the parcel.

"Sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with Myhermes, What went wrong?" What went wrong? To be honest, a better question would be "what goes right" at Hermes. On the 2nd of Jan I placed a Next Day Delivery which was to come via Hermes. The next day I got an email saying my package was out for delivery and would come between 2pm and 4pm. Me, knowing the fuckery Royal Mail and Hermes are notorious for, decided to wait for my package as from 12pm (around 12:33 to be precise) in my living room which is within line of sight of the front door. 4pm comes around and my package isn't here so I assume the message I received was just an error and they didn't deliver it (especially since this was on Sunday). But lo and behold, 30 minutes later i get an email saying "Hi, _____. We tried to deliver your BooHoo parcel today but you weren't in". That's Hermes' couriers for you. At least think smart, we were in lockdown on a Sunday afternoon...where else would I be other than at home. Only giving an extra star because the courier must've decided to give their life to Christ and bring my package the next day.

When things go wrong there is no one to help. You cannot call or email anyone in any reasonable timescale. My parcel is declared lost after me spending three weeks chasing up on their pointless auto answer bot system. If they had a decent system I may well have been able to help them. I will never knowingly use them ever again. It is just not worth the few pounds that can be saved. I would recommend no business ever use them if they value the goodwill and the sanity of their customers.
