Worst complaint ever. Stealing your parcel, no shows up.

Hermes tried to deliver on a Saturday to Business Premises of M-F 9-5 Business. During COVID lockdown as so many people are working from home there is no option to change delivery address to home where, as per government directive, employees have to working remotely from home. Hermes - you are not keeping abreast with current affairs. - This is a poor reflection on your customer service. - Get your web-site sorted - and employ people on your live chat not an auto-bot. In fact just employ people and with savvy. Stop sending customers round in circles with your hyperlinks etc.

Another item ‘missing’ from the depot. Aggressive and unhelpful staff deliberately giving you the run around and not helping you find the item. Today I was told ‘there is absolutely no chance your item will ever turn up you’re wasting your time’ I’m now in the claims process which also seems deliberately off putting. 0/10 for everything especially customer service

Please teach your drivers to knock in a polite manner like every other delivery company manages. The noise that I can only describe as ‘booting the door’ is rude and unprofessional. Knock or use the bell - it’s very simple. Maybe add a ‘manners’ section into the basic training too. Absolutely mortified with the service received today. I hate to think of the fright the delivery driver caused elderly customers.

Parcel sent with the 48 hours delivery option, and 4 days later it still hasn't arrived at its location. Not the first time this company has been late with a delivery, the majority of parcels sent or received through this company have been late.

Having just written a negative review whereby delivery had failed and been put back to Monday, today my parcel was delivered so all due to Hermes, credit where credit is due I have allocated 4*. Whether my review had any influence I'll never know. So well done Hermes, nice to report a positive.

Next day delivery service is a joke Can’t speak to a human to get it resolved The reply 2 days later just says “query resolved” and that parcel will take another 72 hours to be delivered. Query is very much not resolved . No use when Mother’s Day is today! No offer of refund. Terrible service will never use again

Last two consignments reported as delivered, but not delivered, as confirmed by CCTV (tracking for one actually showed, 'Not delivered, parcel damaged'). Previous parcels routinely had been slit open so contents could be examined by Hermes staff or courier (Maidstone area, but I've had similar reports from Nottingham). I cannot understand how this dreadful company's malpractice is not the subject of Trading Standards and Police prosecutions.

Failed to deliver once again, now put back to Monday if I'm lucky. Regretfully whenever I find the on-retailer is using Hermes I fear the worst and 9 out of 10 there is a problem. Great shame and their prices are very competitive, which maybe is the problem.

Useless. Lost a parcel I sent, after 2 weeks I had to give a refund. Now waiting for an email back, still nothing. There contact centre is digital and you can't be put through to a person. 27th of feb is was collected, now 13th march and no update! Never will I use these lot again.

Post it through them if you want to loose your parcel. Yes that's their business model and they make money by auctioning the lost stuff.

1. tracking goes from 5-7pm then 6-8 then7-9 then slight delay that means no delivery that day. Next day the same tracking appear. These repeats for 3-4 or even 5 days. Expect delays up to 5 days. Tracking robot on the phone or Live Chat robot only repeat same answer. No customer service no human being to talk to. The worst courier. Nothing can be done on the receiving end. Why are companies like Zara, TKmaxx still use Hermes? Yodel, DOD, Royal Mail are much more reliable. And they actually deliver your parcel when they say they’ll.

I would give this company no stars if I could waited in all day for a delivery and guess what it didn't turn up. And no explanation to what had happened I had to contacted Amazon to get to the bottom of it, they can't deliver till Tuesday and the parcel is less than 40 miles from me at there depot. I wish companies would stop using them this is not my first time and won't be my Last being let down.

Appalling service, Lack of communication and poor excuse of for a company. Made the mistake of posting an item as it was a couple of pounds cheaper than Royal Mail. The item was never collected and on the tracking notes it just says we are having a problem collecting your parcel at this time!? The customer service desk is only open until 4pm so have to wait another day for an update. Never again.

Hermes is a huge disappointment to the UK’s delivery services. Sadly, I have had a variety of bad experiences with them. The smaller issues include my packages always being delivered late or they don’t bother knocking. And leave the packages out for ages even when I’m not at home. But to me the worst thing they have done, I previously sent back a parcel worth £750. The parcel did end up getting delivered but when the parcel was open the item was magically not there. The company has CCTV footage of them opening the parcel and the item just not being there. The only way it could have magically disappeared was due to someone stealing the item! Luckily I bought £300 worth of protection, but then the shoes were worth £750. So, I got something back but not even half. Overall, they said they can’t do anything and have investigated the matter… but if you find out someone is stealing packages wouldn’t a thorough investigation be put in place? As you can guess they did not even bother. I am so disappointed and to be honest I am not even surprised as I have seen a lot of videos of Hermes couriers ‘dropping’ the package at someones doorstep, taking the photo to verify it was delivered and then they just take the parcel. Everyone using this service should be careful and beware of Hermes doing this. Because they don’t care and won’t give you your money back.

Sent home cinema system via Hermes, arrived at first local depot...…….. never to be seen again. I mean it's 120cm long and 60cm high so I guess it's quite easy to lose such a big item. Could easily fall into the boot of an employee. Not like anyone would care as they're completely unaccountable due to T's&C's. You've insured your item? Great! Problem solved..... Oh wait, no. It doesn't matter, as they still won't pay out. It was our fault for sending such shiny, fancy and expensive electrical products. How could we expect those poor Hermes workers not to take them? If you ever manage to contact them via phone, after searching ever inch of their website and finally finding the number in the middle of Narnia, you should be aware there is a minimum on hold time of 20 minutes. £ times I have called and each time after the 20 minute mark I am connected to a very sorry sounding advisor, who is simply there to tell me ''your item has been delayed and will be sent in the next 48 hours''. Thanks but you told me that 11 days ago and then 5 days ago. So make sure you have a spare 20 minutes to be told what you already knew and that you're an idiot for using this service. But at least they said sorry for losing my £200 sound system. I'll be sure to deposit that 'sorry' into my bank account. Cheers lads. In summary, they can steal your items and get away with it because we agreed to send items with them. Seriously, pay the little extra for ANY other courier. I would even send via Bellmarsh Prison couriers before I use Hermes again.
