“Parcel supposedly lost and never been found so someone in Hermes is stealing and selling it on themselves”

“I arranged for a parcel to be collected and returned to me back in August, they lost said parcel and to the date of writing I am still trying to claim my money back for the loss of the item and postage and insurance paid. It’s impossible to try and speak to a human being and if you’re lucky enough to get one it’s no help at all. Nobody has any information, they promise someone will call you and nobody ever does, all of my emails are being ignored and my last resort now is to take legal action. Avoid this company at all costs!!!!!”

“Stop throwing parcels over people's gates or delivering to the wrong property as you have already lost one of my parcels bloody useless and thieves too sort out your comapany and let everyone talk to a human being instead of a bloody computer”

“Tracking says 'delivered' but I never received any parcel. They use the tracking as concrete proof of delivery when in fact they employ dodgy drivers who steal. I have spoken to my local Hermes driver about my supposed delivered parcel and he claims he has no idea. All the parcels I have ever had delivered by this driver have been photographed by him whilst handing it ti me but my "supposed" delivered parcel doesn't have a photo attached to the tracking no. This company is an absolute joke an their customer service is non-existent. It is impossible to speak to an actual human on the phone and the number for my local depot just rings and rings and nobody ever picks up. The only way to ever get to speak to anyone is if you go to your local depot or head office. If I could give no stars, I would. It's beyond me why people use this company. They couldn't run a bath!”

“Sent me a photo of someone’s porch, claiming that my parcel has been delivered 🤷‍♀️ Feel sorry for debenhams, they cannot afford to lose so many parcels, I will be taking this further”

“Try getting a refund, i tried to send a parcel that did not meet the drop off shop allowed items, might have been my fault, but try getting a refund if you dare, they try every trick in the book to avoid paying any money back, i found an email address for them that was not shown on their site, i sent a request for a refund, i recieved a response asking for more info, i sent the requested info, only to get an email back saying the site was no longer in use, i tried by going via paypal, as i had paid by this method and you can contact the account holder you paid the money to via paypal, i recieved a message back, this site is no longer working, tried phoning the automated service, but there is no option for a refund on a parcel not yet in the system...dont use hermes...please”

“Similar to the experience of other bad reviews. Courier turned up days late, tracking stated on a daily basis it is being delivered to my customer, with no progress made. Wasted time trying to contact Hermes' recorded messages or Hollybot, then realised with no indication available on the Hermes website, I must contact Packlink as I sold on Ebay and used Packlink's shipping platform to send via Hermes which was a bit cheaper than other courier services they offered. I made a claim with Packlink and got refunded within a week with no explanation other than Hermes stated it was lost. There's so much theft that goes on both from some couriers and employees in the warehouses and hubs and transport drivers. Hermes don't care and view the tens of thousands of undelivered items as collateral damage. Everyone needs to stop using them. They lost my £90 item. I question their recruitment procedure. I'm sure there's lots of unchecked ex-cons working for them. They're liars and thieves. Many labelled packages, if not smashed or otherwise damaged or stolen, end up being sold in auction sites such as Ebay. There's a huge scam going on and those at the top do naff all. Hermes have no accountability but one day they will pay the price.”

“Claiming parcel was delivered and took a pic of what looked like a close up of his hand as proof of delivery. I was sitting 4feet away from my front door with my dog that barks at any1 or thing that dares come near our drive. No card, no knock no parcel hmm weird that.”

“Total rubbish. Items get LOST more like stolen!! Rude drivers. Throw stuff where they want too. £6 to ring them and get cut off. No way of talking to a human. Absolute joke of a company.”

“I have had many parcels delivered to my address in Heslington in York over the past few years. The driver is always very friendly and the parcels always arrive when they should and fully in tact. Wish all delivery drivers were as good.”

“Parcels left at wrong addresses no card through door to let you know! One parcel delivered and photographed of an empty envelope and 1 supposedly signed by my neighbour to then be told the van wasn't in the area that day. Absolutely disgusting behaviour..worst company around!”

“If i could give less than one start i would have. An absolute joke of a company. Despite paying for a large and light parcel collection from my house. They failed to collect the parcel after 5 days. They kept putting the order through to the wee man with a wee car to collect. Which clearly was not going to work and after the first failed collection. They kept putting it through to the same wee man. Who did not even bother coming to my door. Each time i called to find out what was happening they claimed to say that the parcel was unsuitable. Absolute farce....now cancelled and using a company that has a clue....USE PARCELFORCE PEOPLE not these bunch of clowns”

“Absolutely shocking, driver proved to be a liar and thief, was threatening and abusive, so blacklists business addresses , no way of contacting Hermes to complain automated online chat completely useless, no humans on the end of phones to try and resolve with.”

“My parcels have either been damaged, had my parcel open and stuff took out off it, to then leave it in my dustbin! And have not received some parcels I'm still waiting on another to arrive which apprently keeps getting delayed!”

“They do not deliver my parcels!! Has happened several times even though all other couriers deliver her. Not able to contact anyone at Hermes! Appalling customer service. Will no longer order from anywhere where the courier is Hermes.”
