All started off well surveyor came day after application was made and was a very nice chap indeed and explained all I needed to know and how much it would cost me I decided to go ahead with the work and signed the contract know this is where the fun began before we made the payment which was November we was told we would have a a new boiler fitted by the first week in December and was advised to pay the fee so the ball can get rolling. As advised I payed I waited till mid December and phoned them again to see what was happening I was told we will phone you in 2 weeks to book installation 2weeks came and gone no call so I rang them back to be answered by a horrible specimen of a human who was rude and cut me off in mid conversation he had no time or patience I couldn't believe it they was quicker enough to take my money anyway the 2 week phone call never happened it was allways me calling them. Then out the blue Sunday late evening 5th Feb I had a phone call can we fit your boiler Monday morning I nearly passed out lol. now due to the previous bull poo I have already been given I was sceptical but due to his word robby the engineer came and what a nice bloke he was and a bloody hard worker he grafted all day on his own untill the job was done couldn't fault the guy the pipework is like artwork a very good job indeed and very tidy no mess and all rubbish was taken away. I want to say thanks again rob if your reading this you have done a bloody good job. Would I recommend the company yes if you don't mind waiting 3 months not 2weeks at the end of the day I paid £350 for a brand new vailent boiler it's a no brainier and on that note I thank you for that northern gas heating.

boier fitted 16/01/2017 after weeks of problems with this newly fitted boiler. now the boiler is showing fault codes on display unit (f-29) etc etc vaillant engineer came out to fix problem vaillant engineer informed me that the system was not flushed when boiler was fitted so because of this the pump is not working. vaillant engineer fixed problem and told me to contact northern gas heating and tell them that the system needs re flushing. on contacting northern gas and informing them of this problem they have given me the excuse that the system in the house is over 30 years old and it needs a power flush which my 89 year old father would have to pay for in excess of £300 +. now bearing in mind when the surveyor came out to inspect the property and to see if the property was suitable for this particular boiler he never mentioned anything about the system being to old and may need a power flush. also the system has only been in the property for around 13 years and i know this because i was the person who had the central heated fitted into the property. I am still waiting for a response from northern gas heating as to what they plan to do about this problem as there is a 89 year old gentleman in the property who has no heating or hot water. if northern gas heating would have informed us that this problem may have occured then we would have just left the old boiler in the property as it was working and at least my father would have heating and hot water. the whole situation is a total disgrace.and so very disappointing

We have since been in touch with this customer and provided a solution to the point where she has now put a 5 star positive review on and we are just awaiting this old review to be taken down.

my issue with northern gas heating is now resolved. i am happy with the service i have received and this company has shown me that they do listen and care for their customers. new boiler works like a dream now . and the follow up service we received is amazing. at last a company that does really care. would i recommend northern gas heating? yes i would

Advised them to get new boiler in august. Sales great promised me they had loads of workers in South. When I have problem only one. Didn't manage to get started until November. Then got cancelled. Then re arranged all at expense to myself. No controller fitted to the system. Waited a few weeks and many calls that they never returned. I always chased. Had a small leak in December from there work. had to wait until mid January to fix. Still got a hole in the wall from the flue that has not been sealed and this is in February. Customer service very poor. Don't return my calls or any e-mails. Just use contractors to do the work. Still no paper work either r.e guarantee t and conditions. Very similar to Billy Newport review now have leak on floor that they said oh this is cos of the added pressure of combi. Would of been nice to hear this could be a problem before you did the install and I decided what to choose.

Slow to start but got my boiler in the end the fitter was great did all the work required and sorted out the pipe nightmare to ensure a tidy finish.

I wanted my old central heating boiler and heating controls and TRVs replacing on all of my 12 radiators then suddenly I realised that there were absolutely thousands of companies out there fitting boilers so after a very lengthy period of researching I found out that there were so many companies supplying and fitting central heating boilers but seemed to be giving an extremely poor service while doing so. I then came across Northern Gas Heating and I did a lot of research on the company and I then was practically sure that this company was the one I was going to choose to supply and install my new boiler but before I had made contact with Northern Gas Heating I had some friends over to dinner and by sheer coincidence I mentioned that I was going to have a new boiler fitted and casually mentioned Northern Gas Heating and to my utter surprise both of my friends had already used Northern Gas Heating to fully remove ancient and install complete new central heating systems in both of their fully renovated properties and they could not praise the surveyors or the installers enough they were given very competitive prices as both of them had quite a few companies in to price for the work but Norther Gas Heating came out on top because of their price and very professional manner so that was that I need not do any more research it was Northern Gas Heating for me I called them and on the telephone they were great and very professional they gave me a time and date for a surveyor to come and discuss things with me the surveyor was very professional and very knowledgeable about central heating systems after he had finished the survey he then sat down and discussed the various options with me he then recommended a specific boiler to me and I said that I had previously been looking at another boiler and he was very knowledgeable of this boiler and he went on to explain that the boiler he recommended to me was of a far better quality and more important to me as a user that his recommended boiler was far less expensive than the one I had been looking at and then the real bonus came he told me that the boiler he recommended was of a much higher output and would cost much less to run well that was that I made the decision to go with his boiler recommendation he told me someone would be in touch very shortly to discuss and arrange the boiler installation hey presto this company don`t waste time I received a call just 4 days later and I was asked if it was possible to come just 3 days later as their installers were working in my area and could easily do my installation while they were local it was great news they gave me a time and day and wow they arrived exactly when I was told they would the installers were brilliant in every way the installers completed everything that day and they cleaned up everything no damage of any kind the only way I could tell any workmen had been in my home was the fact that I had a new boiler new heating controls and new TRVs on my radiators everything about the boiler they were fantastic in every way from begining to end I have had my new gas bills and they are a huge amount lower than before I had Northern Gas Heating in to help and advise me. WOULD I RECOMMEND THEM " YES YES YES " DON`T BOTHER WASTING YOUR TIME RESEARCHING LOADS OF COMPANIES FOR AGES LIKE I DID GET IN TOUCH WITH THIS COMPANY AND SEE FOR YOURSELF YOU WON`T BE DISAPPOINTED WITH THEM. IN SEE SOME BAD REVIEWS ON THE COMPANY BUT SOMETIMES YOU GET PEOPLE THAT JUST CAN`T GET THROUGH THEIR DAY WITHOUT MOANING AND COMPLAINING ABOUT SOMETHING JUST TO PASS THEIR DAYS JUST IGNORE THESE KIND OF PEOPLE AND CALL IN "NORTHERN GAS HEATING" LIKE I DID.

Had a boiler put in paid £250 on top and the job they done is cowboy job left with no central heating working called so many times they sent a engineer out he said your radiators got rust in them they can't get warm until you don't get new raditors . They left us with still no heating we switched off all the raditors couple of times because of airlock then they started to work the problem started of again when we didn't want the central heating on it was switching on its self we had no control on the boiler called so many times at last sent engineer out who sorted it out and then when he seen the job which was done in a bad state he took pictures repaired some bits which he could and could not do other bits because he didnt have all the tools once he left we started to have same problem again central heating working we had no control over the boiler I called up and they said we seen the job in pictures it's a mess a engeneer will be out on the 11 Jan 2017 and sort it all out for you waited no one turned up called up at 13:00 got to talk to someone who said will call you back in 10 min no reply called again at 14:00 got to speek to some one else they said I transfer you to my colleague who will help you waited 55 min still on hold I disconnected the call and called again got to talk to someone again and they said let me check I will put u on hold waited for another 40 min still no reply still on hold so I decieded to disconnect my self Very very disapointed they don't turn up waste our times I would never recommend this company to anyone

Our engineer will be visiting your property this week to finish off the uncompleted work, we will do our best to make sure everything is left working correctly and you have heating and hot water. What went right is my answer, before,during and after, however !. My main concern is that I was promised £300 rebate by the salesperson that came to my home (max £400) within 1 month of completion of fitting a new boiler. This due to having loft insulation,double glazing, cavity wall insulation etc. This I am still chasing after 9months and having read all of the reviews, I concur with numerous, on the phone waiting all the time (if you can get an answer,cut off,promise of a reply,email. I have written 3 letters raising my issues and no one has had the decency to respond at all. I also will be taking this matter further and have no hesitation in stating that ! this company is the worst company I have ever dealt with and being a Project Manager myself, do know what I am talking about !! Northern Gas - Please make sure this review is followed up and that I get a reply.

Really poor customer services and the company promises to send a engineer out but never turns up. 4 no shows so far and currently on hold to find out why the last engineer didn't turn up

Absolutely abysmal after care service. I had a boiler fitted 3 weeks ago and had a leak on the pipe called 10 ties was promised someone would call out, still waiting! Do not touch this company.

I HAD A BOILER FITTED UNDER THE GOVERMENT ELIGIBILITY SCHEME AN INSPECTOR CAME OUT TO REVIEW THE WORK DONE, ON HIS ADVICE AN EXTERNAL PIPE HAD TO BE FITTED. I WAITED IN AS ASKED ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS........NO ONE TURNED UP? EVENTUALLY SOME ONE TURNED UP AND ERECTED THE EXTERNAL PIPE. DAYS LATER IT HAD TO BE LAGGED, THE LAGGING HAS COME OFF? WHEN I RANG I SPOKE TO ' YAKUP ' WHO PROMISED ME HE WOULD CALL ME BACK THAT WAS ON THE 30/11/2016......HE NEVER PHONED BACK, I RANG AND THEY PUT THE PHONE DOWN ON ME! TWO OF MY RADIATORS DO NOT WORK. I AM GOING INTO HOSPITAL ON THE 14TH DECEMBER TO HAVE A HEART OPERATION, I WILL BE GOING HOME TO A BEDROOM WITH NO HEATING AND A BEDROOM WITH NO HEATING. THEY HAVE LEFT ME NO ALTERNATIVE BUT TO CONTACT ' TRADING STANDARDS ' , ' CAB ' AND THE 'MEDIA '

Following my last review dated 25th Nov 16 where I was left with no hot water or heating for the weekend. A electrian turned up on Mon 28th Nov in the afternoon without the new programmer. An hour later another electrician turned up without the programmer. Allthough I had limited heating I was told they would try and get back the next day. No call and as always I had to do the chasing. It was not until 2nd Dec that I managed to speak to an electrician and said that he will call back later to confirm the appt to complete the works. What a surpise NO CALL BACK. Today 5th Dec I had to do more chasing and was told that additional works need to be carried out at an additional cost. Having been messed around leaving us without no heating they have the audacity wanting to charge more! This morning I was told from customer adviser that she will call me back to confirm how much more this will be and will provide a new quote. GUESS WHAT - no call back. With the overall experience so far is beyond a joke and appalled how they can treat their customers. There is no customer care and for the Managers what Managers they just hide behind their desks.

They have installed a combo boiler. New white plastic pipes instead of copper (it can last the same but at a fraction of a cost and if something happen it's easier to replace). Warranty on piping 25 years (labour not included, of course). It came the time when the pipes started to leak (7 years after the installation). Since Monday, the customer service told me somebody from the installation team would have called me back. I have a massive lick and a house which is a proper mess. Because of the drop in pressure the boiler works on and off and will soon break down (but I have 2 daughters and can't stay without heater). Today, Friday (4th phone call) I have had to call them back again and again somebody will call me back. Do you really think I will ever receive a phone call? Of course not. But first thing they said on the phone was they would have charged me £130 for the first hour and they were looking at Wednesday next week. Really?? I have heavily complained with the customer service and asked for my call to be escalated to one of the managers (of course nobody was available). Bottom line, I am still waiting for phone call which I will never receive and i will now have to pay for somebody to come out, lift the floors and repair the pipes. After that I will have to re-plaster the ground floor, and replace the floor (lifted because of the water). This is the worst company I could have come across. Think twice before you spend your money.

VERY POOR! No working shower due to pipe cut in error. Old boiler & bags of rubbish left in garden. No reply over a week later despite calls & emails. I signed up Sept 21st & was told by the salesperson they could install within 2 weeks. 6 weeks later I'm chasing them for an installation date. Eventually 11th Nov is agreed. On installation day only 1 workman arrives. After an hour I assist him with removing the old boiler from a difficult latch. I'm recovering from a broken elbow (Oct 15th) so this was work I should never have had to do. I also assisted him to manoeuvre the immersion tank downstairs. Again 2 workman should've done this. Finally a 2nd workman arrives at 3pm. He assists with flue & brickwork. Determined to fit everything into one day, they don't pack up til 8pm so my fri night out was cancelled. The following morning I notice the flue brickwork was shockingly poor with no attempt to stagger bricks correctly & the pointing is caked on. (see photo) Rubbish & the old boiler were left in the garden (see photos) but they took my copper immersion tank worth £50 scrap! I went to have a shower & there was no water as the workman had mistakenly cut that pipe in the immersion cupboard. (see photo) He didn't check the pipework in the loft to make sure he was cutting the correct ones. My old plumber ensured me the shower has it's own cold mains supply. Nearly 2 weeks later, I am still left with no working shower. Despite calls & emails I've had no response. I'm repeatedly stuck on the phone for over an hour, no reply then line goes dead. Also, original salesperson said they'd remove old water tank but workman said he wouldn't take it. Lied to. Avoid at all costs!

No new control panel despite showing that water was dripping through 16year old one when I was requesting a quote for replacer boiler, I'd presumed that the salesman could see what was required. When the installers finally arrived on the 3rd booked date ( they had cancelled others and I was left waiting) installers also took away with them MY step ladders by mistake. Have to wait until they return them in a week!! Have tried to call Northern gas re this new control panel and as always get promises of a call back but they never do. So wish I had gone through another company. Have never ever dealt with a company like this.

Boiler fitted in March, satisfied with the work done. However, 6 days rang to report a leak, no action. Rang the next day and the next, advised engineer would call the following day, he didn't. Now almost a week later, ringing again, have been on hold for almost 40 minutes, rubbish service. Go elsewhere.
