Beware of this company. I purchased tretinoin (3-month supply). Beware that a 3-month supply is only 1 tube of tretinoin. They charged my credit card without without my permission. I never put in an order for a refill. I was not on auto refill. I deactivated my account. Told them on the phone not to send another refill, but they did it anyway.

I’ve used Nurx for years and at first loved it. I needed a birth control refill right as everything was shutting down in 2020 and they made it easy to get one. I was very happy up until about a year ago. Response times were slow and when it came time for a refill they kept saying there was an issue but wouldn’t explain what. Two weeks after being off my medications they finally got me my refill. I also used their mental health services and cancelled after two years on it. The price is astronomical for mental health.

NURX is solely a telehealth service and does not have any physical offices in any city. NURX operates on an asynchronous telehealth model, meaning the providers do not office visits or video visits. Communication with NURX occurs only through their app or web messaging. My regular PCP and One Medical (a subscription health service) can provide better service. If NURX needs more information from you, you will still have to visit your PCP's office for the necessary tests, or NURX will send you test kits at your expense. Even though I already have a prescription from my PCP/One Medical doctor, NURX still requested more information that I couldn't remember, such as: Approximately what year were you diagnosed with Hep B? ● What year were you treated? ● What medication was used for treatment? ● At the time you were treated, were you having symptoms? NURX implies that your regular PCP or One Medical doctor does not meet their standards. This information was not enough for NURX, and they requested all tests to be repeated. My PCP/One Medical doctor is already monitoring my condition for PrEP medication. If you try to call their customer service for help, it can feel helpless. They will ask for your phone number, name, date of birth, and the last four digits of the credit card on file. If you are using an FSA account and don't have it handy, NURX will not be able to assist you further. They cannot verify your identity with other informations on your profile. Dealing with this company can be very frustrating and stressful.

The worst customer service in existence. They clearly do not read your messages and take asinine action based on keywords. I tried to go through them last spring for a prescription and they ran me around so much I never filed it or used it. I've been having trouble with pharmacies filling this prescription so I decided to try nurx again. They decided that since my old prescription was still showing on my account and it was going to be a year since issuance they would force me to renew it after I just received a new prescription and signed up for auto shipments for refills. I asked them to cancel the year old prescription but instead they canceled the new one which has already shipped and been delivered. When I asked them to fix this mixup they instead tried to force me to renew the old one with a new consult fee. I have since requested cancelation and removal of my account. Unless you have no other option, stay away.

I have been going back-and-forth with this company for four days trying to get tretinoin approved and some acne medication. They keep switching me doctors and people that I’m speaking to one person tells me they can approve me for the anti-aging and acne medication then the next doctor they transfer me to says that they can’t, but they’re in the same family, like why don’t you guys pay attention to what each doctor is telling the patients take your money make you beg for the medication your asking and paying for

A waste! The expectation of online providers these days is a reasonably expedient triage, diagnosis and treatment. I requested a simple prescription refill, thought it would be easier this way given a recent relocation pending establishing a PCP. Nope. Delayed communication, unhelpful midlevels, disengaged and contentious support. Cannot in good faith recommend this service to anyone for any care seeking situation for conditions they claim to provide care for.

They were excellent and wonderful until they weren’t. I’ve been using them for my prescriptions since July ‘23. I have had the same insurance the entire time. They told me that my insurance came back as terminated. No. No it didn’t. It’s through my employer which is my husband’s company and I pay the bills. I retook my insurance card pics and uploaded them again just in case maybe something did change. Nope. Same numbers all around. I have sent 6 messages starting on 10/30 and reached out through facebook with requests to please just send my script to my local pharmacy they have sent to before. I am now a day without my mental health scripts and I will probably be going through withdrawals in a few days. I was so happy to feel myself again and now this. I just want my prescriptions, please!

Scam of a service. Non responsive and didn’t properly delivery my birth control. I ended up with severe hormonal symptoms as a result of coming off a birth control because they failed to deliver. They continued to be on responsive and then months later charged me despite me cancelling the service. The online and subscription services need to be better regulated. Healthcare in this country is already enough of a burden on the people it pretends to care for. This is just an extension of the greed and lack of respect for human life.

Your doctors have no clue about certain medical conditions. And they give political answers as to why they refuse to prescribe something. Because this company has incompetent doctors who have zero clue about certain medical conditions, they will flat out give you responses that r incorrect and flat out lies. No wonder they have poor reviews. By the way. Dr. Miller apparently thinks aural migraines cause chiari malformation!!! So I get denied birth control for that. Very incompetent. And because of chiari, I will be unable to use birth control? What happened is she has no clue, and briefly researched a reason, and quickly gave a response to deny me because she lacks knowledge on my condition. Rather than asking me questions before denying me, she flat out says migraines cause chiari. Unbelievable!!!

THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!! I would leave zero stars if I couldI! It’s impossible to contact them by phone or email because THEY WILL NOT RESPOND! Plus they put you on automatic refills even if you have requested not to have refills. There is no way to delete your credit card from their website so they will just keep charging you for refills that you specifically said you do not want. There is no way to delete your credit card from their website! They are scammers!! Stay away from this company and their website!! You have been warned-you will be sorry!
