I used Opodo for many years as a trusted travel operator and am saddened to report that whilst good at taking your payments they have really let me down in returning my money when flights are cancelled. It has now been 15 months since flights worth over £400 were cancelled and no money has been returned after constant requests and complaints. Opodo are blaming the flight operator but as I paid Opodo they are the ones responsible for retuning my money. No doubt I will be told again that it has been passed on to the relevant team to resolve but then will not hear anything or get my money returned.

I made an booking for flight and hotel package on the 12th april from opodo.com ... after paid the full amount i received an email saying that part of booking was confirmed(only hotel was confirm) ... so i called the customer service and tried to get the full refund as no point just confirm my hotel without the flight ... customer service is very polite and she said to me i can get my refund within 10 working days ... after few days i got my refund for the flight but the hotel still havent got it, so i called up to customer service again that was a guy and he said to me that will take another couple of day for the hotel refund .. i waited until 20th april, called up to customer service again a lady said to me it will take another 10 days to get the refund and today is 19may and i still havent received my refund yet .... waiting for the money to make another booking as time is very tight now i am thinking to go for holiday at the very beginning of june i did said to the customer service officer to put my case in urgent ...and now been waiting for mor than 30 days now... called them up 5 times ... they just kept saying 10 -15 days ... what a joke

how on earth are opodo/edreams still allowed to trade 3 years i have been waiting for my £600 refund after the airline canceled my flights opodo just ignore all my e mails qatar airways assure me that they have refunded the money to opodo they are thieves scammers liars never use opodo

Wrong went the fact you can not add baggage on opodo once you paid for flight. It took me 2 days searching. When i got to the airport and wanted to check in my baggage there were hundreds of people already waiting. Almost missed my flight. Even lady by the check in table did not recommended book flight on opodo. Very complicated and frustrating.

They will sneakily force a “free trial” and then charge you a non-refundable $88usd for their “premium” membership that gives you NO discounts from what you could get on any other site, not on the flight tickets or on the price for luggage. It is actually more expensive than any other site without any membership. DON’T DOWNLOAD IT’S A SCAM

Without any information from opodo the flight was changed. 2 days earlier. We finf out about it when we wanted to fly home.

Two time they stolen my money 2021 £750 and 2023 they charged extra money from my credit card, don’t trust this company please no one use this fake opoda and I will write bad review every where and don’t believe them after stolen money stupid opoda staff write me sorry to hear go to hell snakes , opoda staff like a snakes Don’t believe and trust them . They never refund any money to me They are decciver and lied. Please no one use this fake opoda company.

Very horrible people,when i was looking to cancel my membership before to get charged,on their system was showing that i am not a member,and suddenly they without to ask me charged me 69.99

ueber angebliche Rueckerstattungen. Flug gebucht, Opodo nahm Geld, am check in dann kein gueltiges Flugticket. Keine Angabe von Gruenden fuer Stornierung. Tage verschwendet ohne Loesung oder Rueckerstattung. Dann finde ich bei Bank raus, heimlich Kreditkarteninfo von Flugbuchung kopiert (ich hatte meine Karte aus derem Konto gelaeuscht) und einfach ein Abo abgesetzt. Hatte keine gueltige Prime membership, auch nicht aus versehen gedrueckt. Bank meinte "opodo waere bei Ihnen bekannt" fuer solchen Betrug ...

OPODO...Do not book through this… OPODO...Do not book through this operator..Have booked for myself and my teenager daughter for may 2023..Booked through opodo which was sold to me as a very nice mobile home only to find when i questioned the accomodation with tres estrellas this is not the case..The accomodation actually resembles a tent with no amenities . Contacted opodo to point out to them that this accomadation was not the accomodation sold to me and that this would be of no use due to my daughters anxiety levels and not being able to share communal showers and if needing to use the toilet at night would be an absolute no no for her as she would not cope with the though of having to do this..Made this very clear to opodo that this accomodation will not suffice due to her anxiety and their response was THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO AND WE ARE NOT ISSUING A REFUND. This is the first time in my life i am dreading going on holiday and it was supposed to be a special time as am taking my daughter to her first festival to see her favourite artist and being a sole parent i have saved hard for this. Not only have opodo charged quite substantially for this holiday but have crushed my daughters dream because she has been waiting for this for so long but i know she will not cope with the accomodation and will be a nightmare from hell for her..Opodo you are disgusting for shattering a lttle girls dreams and i really hope people steer clear of booking any form of travel with you !!!!.... So a little investigation into my package holiday...Paid £1300 through opodo for what seemed like a nice lodge...the accomodation allocated is a tent which i found out they had booked through booking.com so out of curiousity i thought i would see the price of the accomodation they had booked opposed to the accomodation i should have got...i was disgusted..The accomodation they have allocated me was not even £200 for the duration of my stay , so to scam money they have sold the holiday accomodation as a lodge and allocated a tent thus pocketing quite a substantial amount of money. I can also see on the reviews on trip advisor that they have also done exactly the same to the family prior to my review ,they booked a caravan and was given a tent. So more phone calls to opodo and nothing..I am starting a claims process under section 57 with my bank and will be taking opodo to the small claims court as this is just purely scamming people out of money. Most people will just let this lie but i will not , If opodo have done this to 2 families how many others have they done this to. I will absolutely bombard every social media platform , every day with my story , every review platform where opodos name lies until my case is resolved. Tuesday morning I will instruct my solicitor to start investigations into my case and going by other peoples reviews on trip advisor and trust pilot this looks to be a tactic used by opodo on many occasions to con people out money. My next port of call is the press as this scam needs to be exposed because not just has it taken peoples hard earned money but also all the stress that goes with it because of their greed. I will expose this company for what they are and make a statement that this is not good practice. And thankyou opodo for making my little girl cry because you have absolutely shattered her holiday and the festival for her all for the sake of filling the CEO’s pocket. Greed is a poisonous thing and I really do hope every single person that reads this review never uses opodo and shares with their friends to put the word out there that you are just full of pure greed and will do anything to make the company profits even if it means to break a childs heart !!!. Opodo charged my credit card almost €80 for a membership I never agreed or signed for. They are criminals, this is how they make their money. Only after I wrote a bad review they contacted me promising they would refund the money within 15 days. Needless to say I have been waiting for the money for over a month and every time I send them an email I get back the same automated email with the steps I need to do in order for them to reimburse the money they took without any permission. Please be very careful and don‘t book anything with Opodo. They scam and they steal your money!

Avoid this company. Never again. Booked flight and after one month they charged me for the Prime membership 69.99 . Where I never agreed to purchase this membership. Avoid

We have booked a trip through them and never received an invoice or receipt. We have been asking for that for two weeks and nothing! they have charged our card with a fee without telling us and they keep on asking for 24 hours to send the invoice! Stay away! Date of experience: 26 April 2023

I had an unpleasant experience booking domestic flights in Thailand through Opodo. I purchased a flexible ticket with Vietjet, but upon check-out, I discovered that the ticket had the wrong date. Opodo's customer service was unhelpful and instructed me to contact Vietjet directly. Unfortunately, I learned that changes to the ticket were only allowed within 60 days of purchase and no other modifications were permitted. Dealing with Opodo's customer service was frustrating, and I had to reach out to Vietjet on my own to request changes. In the end, I had to cancel the ticket without a refund and spent a significant amount of time resolving the issue. I would not recommend using Opodo for flight bookings.

unbelievable! they sold us a flight (charged a fee for that), our flight got cancelled by the airline - airline told us to seek full refund from Opodo - Opodo said the airline never "refunded them" and couldn't confirm the cancellation. And now they just ghost us ... really avoid using podo at all cost - I learned my lesson - i will pay a bit more to buy flight direct from airline and not route through "agents" like Opodo.... what do you get from them... SERVICE? just injustice!!

Pay for a ticket and get the itinerary from the airline. Alright. Then an email arrives from Opodo, "please verify yr ticket using this email address," which has your name but the wrong address. Curious. Then notice that it was paid for with visa ending - not yours. Reread their email and wonder why "edreams" is mentioned. Unless you enjoy giving money to crims, don't do it.

The worst third party ever! Do not deal with them‼️‼️ When I checked the flight it was £50 for 2 people from Budapest to the UK. When I clicked "buy", it took me to their website, where they changed the price, ‼️without notifying me about the change‼️..., that's how I got charged over £110 for the exact tickets. I called them to cancel and get a full refund. Aris Baba and Satyam Kumar tried to help, but they could not because of their disgraceful policy. They told me to call the company I am flying with, although I called them, I knew they couldn't give me a refund...because it wasn't them who charged me in the first place. Please do not deal with them, because they are scammers and what they do to people is unacceptable and disgusting!

Avoid at all costs, i have booked with opodo in January. But received an email of my return tickets have been cancelled, called for an explanation. I was given NOTHING, just it is cancelled and a refund that will take up to one month. Left us without return tickets and we cannot find any everything is booked up. They have put us through immense stress and disappointment. Avoid using them, no help at all from customer service.
