Dropped off parcel at local drop-off shop in Scotland, UK, and 56 hours later, it was delivered in North Carolina, USA. Good service. Good price.

Booked parcel collection to Sweden for 30/10. Failed to collect agreed a rebook for 31/10, Tracking then showed the parcel sat in a depot 7 miles from my home for 9 days , I did an online chat, they had no idea , the parcel then arrived back to me on the 12/11. 3 days after the date I had been given as the likely arrival date for Sweden. The courier said payment difficulties could be why it had come back, but I had paid Parcel2Go printed labels for Sweden etc! 2 hours on online chat was frustrating and unhelpfu;l. i shall avoid at all costs and find the positive reviews hard to understand!

Hi Catriona, Sorry to hear you’ve had a poor experience with your delivery. Booked parcel in through P2G Via DPD 24 Hour. We dropped parcel off at DPD pick up shop on the 7/11/2016 parcel was still at shop 11/11/2016. Contacted customer service after an hour long chat they told me they did not guarantee delivery even though the latest date for them to deliver was the 10/11/2016, they have now told me that parcel will be delivered Mon/Tues 14th or 15th Nov, this is not acceptable. This parcel was to one of my best customers whom I will possibly lose now through no fault of my own. Avoid this service at all costs.

Poor quality service; help facilities unacceptable. I followed the tracking facility, expecting a delivery to a nearby drop off centre on 9 November 2016. Unexpectedly and without any notice via email or message, I saw a notice on the tracking facility saying that my parcel had been returned to the sender: "The receiver does not want the product and refused the delivery. / The package will be returned to the sender." Parcel2Go had permitted or arranged for the parcel to be sent a drop-off centre that could not receive the parcel! I decided to telephone Parcel2Go to see what had gone wrong. No telephone number is available on the Parcel2Go website. (A later conversation with Parcel2Go confirmed that there is no telephone line available to customers.) I found one by googling 'Parcel2Go telephone number'. I was held in a queue twice, once for 25 minutes, the second time for 35 minutes, with waltz music and an intermittent message saying that 'your call is important to us, we shall be with you shortly', without any centre. Not important enough, it seems. I then went round to the nearby store where the parcel was to be delivered and asked why the delivery had been refused. They were bemused and said that they had not received a delivery for anyone that afternoon and so had not 'refused' it. So, another puzzle. Why did Parcel2Go say that the drop-off point had declined the delivery. I looked around the Parcel2Go web site again for some means of contacting them. With some difficulty, I found a chat line. I chatted with two representatives, the second being the first's supervisor. They were unable to tell me any more than I already knew. The delivery had been made by UPS (on their behalf.) The delivery van driver had, they alleged, tried to deliver the parcel to one of their designated drop off centres but the drop off centre had declined the consignment. I pointed out that this was almost certainly untrue, since I had spoken to the owners of the store (twice) in the store and they denied that any such attempt to make a delivery from Parcel2Go, via UPS, had been made that day. I pointed out the absurdity of the situation to the representatives that I was 'chatting' with. Nevertheless, with much 'apologizing for the inconvenience caused', they said that the only course of action open to me was to contact the sender (the following morning). When I asked for a Parcel2Go telephone number so that I could speak with someone, they replied that they could not give me one. When I asked for the UPS contact, they replied likewise. When I asked them to contact UPS and ask them to help, they said that they could not do so. I received reply after reply saying that they were 'very sorry about the inconvenience' but there was nothing that they could do to help me directly. I can accept that things go wrong -- even though it is quite beyond me how a) a delivery company can send a parcel to a designated drop-off point that doesn't accept parcels from them; and b) they can claim that they attempted to deliver the parcel to the store when the store denied that they had any such delivery. What is unacceptable is that they were no immediate way of putting the matter right. As soon as I notified Parcel2Go of the problem, Parcel2Go should offered, not apologies, but: a) reassurances that they would look into the matter immediately; b) promises that they would let me know within the hour or so what had gone wrong or at what point they were at with the issue; and c) confirmation of what steps they would take to remedy the matter. I cannot recommend Parcel2Go given this lack of customer support. I should add that I have never posted a complaint in my life but Parcel2Go's service yesterday was so poor that I have decided to do so on this occasion.

well despite numerous online chats and loads of promises they have been the singular most horrific company to deal with 15 th September this year (2016) I paid online for a parcel for a friends birthday in Australia they DID NOT pick up as they said they would in the end took it to the local shop where they gave me a receipt. I tracked it via online tracking via Maidstone to ocs then another two couriers to 'secure reception' ( I gather Heathrow) to be sent!...three months later and numerous online chats they quoted 'have found your parcel! it will be returned in the next few days NOOO it hasn't back on to them quote 'oh we will have to contact the courier as we don't know where it is!' haven't or seen it since now after all of this I am TAKING THEM TO COURT they are a TOTALLY CRAP COMPANY and by other peoples comments on ombudmans sites this is not uncommon ! DO NOT USE THEM they are s..sters!

Hi Christine, Sorry to hear you’ve had a poor experience with your delivery. We do everything possible to ensure that the couriers we work with are as effective as possible, so naturally it’s disappointing to hear stories like yours. I am sorry to hear of the issues with the parcel sent in September. The issue with the delivery was that prohibited items had been sent through the system, and therefore the parcel was held and had to be returned to sender. I have now located the order for you and will response to you via the order to discuss this further. Dianne Fisher Parcel2Go Customer Services

I left my house and saw a delivery man from Parcel2Go trying the locked gate to a house some 50 yards away. Thought nothing of it till that evening when the tenant called round to deliver my parcel. He said had been thrown into his locked garden. The delivery man had never bothered to locate my house and as he had reached the postcode seemed happy to "deliver" it to the nearest post code house. No complaints procedure so I have complained to the seller who has passed it on. What a shambolic company. DO NOT USE BY CHOICE

Parcel2Go lost my parcel in transit as they had a fight with Panther who ceased working with them, losing me £840 for the items not returned to Amazon. Not only did they not pay me the supposed minimal insurance of £20, they did not return me the £50 I spent in sending the parcel! Go directly to the parcel companies.

We do everything possible to ensure that the couriers we work with are as effective as possible, so naturally it’s disappointing to hear stories like yours. I have now looked into the order from 2014 and can see you did not cover the goods for their full value and only the standard cover we offer in the booking process. I can see we did offer to refund this amount plus the carriage that you paid for the goods. I will contact you via this order to discuss this further and explain this to you. I arranged for Parcel2Go to take a Golden Wedding present to my friends on Coochimudlo Island off the coast of Brisbane, Australia. Every day I was able to track the parcel and it arrived on the date forecast by P2G, which is today 4th. I am very impressed with the efficient way its delivery was dealt with. thank you H M Abbott

Twice now I have had problems with your service and cannot get facts from your chat room operators who either promise one thing and nothing happens or cannot seem to find out what is happening and keep saying they will contact me via email and I hear nothing. Parcel 2Go is a major disappointment and I certainly will take my business elsewhere.

My company booked next day delivery, my customer needed a cake for a party, when my parcel had not arrived by the 4pm the next day, I contacted the company who told me that they had no idea where my package was, and they could not get hold of the driver, and they would contact me in 2 days with a reply. Even the tracking number was not working so neither I nor my customer knew where the product was. My client did not receive her parcel on the Saturday instead on the Monday, my customer now demanded refund due to late delivery, parcel2go said next day delivery on Saturdays does not exist, they only do delivery Monday - Friday!!!!!!! So on the website when you go to book next day delivery for Saturday, it states there is Saturday delivery but I suppose when you mess up you come up with stupid excuses. I will never use this company ever again, I would strongly advice anyone with business not to use this this company as they are misleading which makes this company a scam and fraud

Hi, We have received a review from another review website and we have responded via this. We have also responded to you via email to explain the full issue. Sorry to hear you feel you have had a poor experience with your delivery. We do everything possible to ensure that the couriers we work with are as effective as possible, so naturally it’s disappointing to hear stories like yours. I have now located your order and had a quick look into this. When you have booked, you are made aware that the service is a working day delivery and for a collection on Friday the delivery would be made on Monday. We do, of course, offer Saturday deliveries at a higher price but you have selected a standard next working day delivery. Our terms and conditions also do state that working day does not include - Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holidays. As you have explained in your review - you have sent a cake. Unfortunately these items cannot be sent through our services. When booking you are made aware of the prohibited items list which says you are unable to send Food & Perishable goods. I am sorry to hear you are feeling frustrated by this. If you would like to discuss this with me further, you are more than welcome to respond to the email we have sent to you. I sent 1 parcel that contained two boxes with a full roll of tape wrapped around then, only 1 part of the parcel arrived at the customers address. the other part was cut off and has gone missing and guess what? its got the most expensive part of the item in it at £130 parce2go just keep apologising and pretend that they are making enquiries but they dont. all the do is tell you to put a claim in . but when you dont have full cover because of the price it means you are out of pocket by £100. does p2go employ thieves and robbers because this is a deliberate crime, its NOT a lost parcel its a stolen parcel. never send parcels through these people. big mistake if you do

A disaster from the start!!!! I arranged collection and they missed it twice so it took a whole week to finally get the parcels collected. In the meantime, the online chat agents haven't been that supportive and when I asked for some form of compensation for the inconvenience they said they couldn't help. Little I knew it was only going to get worse. My parcels have gone missing for 12 days and they have no idea where they are and they are still keeping me hanging while they get in touch with the courier (which takes 1/2 working days) while basically doing nothing to help. Appalling customer service! No one there seems to be interested in collecting customer feedback to improve the service either. All they do is say "I am sorry to hear this". Well, that's not really helpful!!!!

booked on the 5th and had a parcel collected on 6th October by DX48 through parcel2go expected delivery at least by the 10th. Well the 15th went by and the EBay customer wanted to know where her parcel was when I contacted parcel2go that said the parcel could not be located, their tracking details said it was still at the depot. On the 16th I had to refund the customer through eBay the whole 50 odd pounds including postage. Put another enquiry through parcel2go and started a claim for a lost parcel uploaded everything they requires proof of collection, proof of non delivery and proof of value all accepted screenshots from eBay/PayPal they also emailed me and asked me to provide proof of refund which I did with a PayPal screenshot. I don't hear anything until I look today and see at 9.36 claim rejected parcel located! I look and see that suddenly all the delivery information is posted up and the parcel was delivered on the 17th October the day after I refunded the customer. so according to parcel2go everything was ok. So 13 days to deliver a DX48 parcel is acceptable to parcel2go? Of course the customer is happy and suddenly gone quiet to my emails since getting the item and a refund! Parcel2go are quite happy because as far as they are concerned the case is closed the item was delivered even 13 days later. The only very unhappy person is me as I am now down the item plus I had to refund through the eBay case and get affected feedback on my account. I did everything and downloaded and sorted out the information that parcel2go wanted and now they have washed their hands of it. My advice for what it is worth don't use a middleman (parcel2go) or DX for that matter! Don't be taken in by the cheaper prices. use a reputable courier direct and save yourself a lot of frustration and in my case losing out financially as well. In the long run it would have been cheaper for me to have couriered the item the 50 miles myself for a few quid in petrol!! Parcel2go = NO you failed me at the one job you have, go back to school.
