Absolute shambles - lost my parcel and wont support in helping to finding it, they first said they found it, now they're simply refusing to help

Frankly Parcel2Go is a shambles. I placed an order with Parcel2go yesterday morning but then had to cancel it two hours later....that proved tricky to do as there is no phone number. Used one of their online chat handlers in the end as there seemed no other option. She said my refund would happen in 5-7 working days which is how long the bank will take to process it. This Im confused by as the bank said that although theyd authorised the payment parcel2go hadnt taken payment yet....so surely it doesnt take 5-7 days to cancel taking it? Copy of online chat emailed as requested. Then I got another email saying they would have to investigate whether they could 'refund me' & that would take 5-7 days! Bonkers! Have they not heard of the distance selling laws? Today Hermes turned up to collect my parcel.....seems Parcel2go didnt cancel them even though they had plenty of time to do so. Having had that shambolic experience so far I wait with interest to see if they take payment or not. Be careful Parcel2Go its fra its fraud if you dont & I will see you in the small claims court.... Lastly its actually cheaper if you contact the parcel distributor direct!! So please tell me why would anyone use Parcel2Go?????

Absolutely shocking customer service. No ability to phone up. Online chat is tedious, repetitive and time consuming. They have not maintained communication with updates as promised. It's taken me 8 days for them to finally log an investigation. Parcel 2 Go will blame every other business in the event of a problem but in my opinion - I paid Parcel 2 Go and they are failing to respond or escalate my concerns of a lost parcel.

This company steals items DONT USE no customer service you can contact. They dont care who they steal from. Returning goods over £100 the parcel was by Parcel2Go and it went. Recieved an email saying unsuccessful upick up after the driver (white middle aged female with brown hair in a white car ) had taken the parcel. DONT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SCAMMED.

out of th e52 parcels we have sent 9 had either been lost broken and 2 have not been collected from a drop off shop its now day 7 and they are sitting in the drop off shop I would never recommend them to anyone ever again, you even have to pay extra for them not to lose your parcel

Do not send any valued parcel, it would be lost or misplaced! Do not trust them at all! Worst company to deal with. Lost our parcel which contained 10 phones, meant to go back to our supplier. 3 months still no update. That's loss of 3k to our business. Will never use them again in future.2-3 times they told me that they have found the parcel and will send it back to me,sent me fake delivery proof. After waiting for a week when I asked them for update, then they asked me what's inside the parcel and I told them there are 10 iphones. Since then there is no update on parcel.

I booked a shipment and paid the delivery guarantee service. The courier failed to deliver on the pre-agreed date because some logistics problem arisen and my parcel was delivered the following day. I tried to get in touch with parcel2go customer service but is just impossible using their webchat and there is no phone number or email available to customers. I went through Resolver and finally someone started to reply me. They denied the pre-agreed date was what I was telling them (don't make my same mistake, do a screenshot of their website during your booking so you can get a proof of the date) even when I called Tnt customer service who confirmed I was right about the pre-agreed date. They keep replying the delivery date was supposed to be on the 3rd of January because national holiday but that's is an excuse because TNT (the courier I used) confirmed it was supposed to be delivered on the 2nd of January and the reason it wasn't delivered was because some logistic problem. But they have no shame, even with the support of TNT who says something different, they will keep repeating something else. They won't refund you the service you paid for (don't bother adding the guarantee delivery service to your booking). If you have a problem, you can't get in touch with them. They are just a third party who books for you a shipment using the main couriers available. You don't need them to ship a parcel. If you use the couriers website directly you can get a better deal and a better customer service. I will never use this service again.

Had to wait until the 4th day for a courier to collect a parcel. Had to mess about rebooking every time and printing new labels out... I expected much more after paying almost £26 to post my parcel... hopefully it will eventually get to the customer soon

I sent an eBay item to Saudi Arabia at the cost of £112.67 (buyer paid £55 and I had to cover the rest), with full protection and even paid extra for a guaranteed delivery date of January 13th. Package was delivered on January 15th, which means I was able to claim for a full refund of the shipping but it was rejected because they claimed delivery was attempted and unsuccessful, despite the tracking page showing that it was still in transit and hadn't reached the delivery depot until the 15th. So that was money wasted, as their delivery guarantee means nothing. Then the package was finally delivered and my buyer noticed damage to the outside of the box, so he took photos of the box being opened while the delivery driver was still there watching him. Inside, the item was destroyed at one end - a very expensive KORG synthesiser. The video and photos show him opening the box, and the first thing I noticed was that the bubble wrap that went several times around the keyboard was completely missing. Not only that, but the polystyrene at the right of the keyboard between the keyboard and the power supply was also completely missing. It was the power supply that ended up causing the damage to the keyboard, smashing through it and making it unusable, as well as destroying the power supply. When I claimed, I was told that musical instruments were only covered for loss, and not damage. I accepted that fact, but brought it to their attention that this should surely be in the case of the sender's packaging being used, and that if the sender's packaging is removed then the fault lies with those responsible for removing the actual protection. My claim was rejected. I called them and spoke for almost an hour, but the outcome was the same and the representative wouldn't even acknowledge the photos of the missing protective packaging and instead focused on the fact that it was a musical instrument. Yes, a musical instrument which would have arrived safely if the myriad protective packaging had been left intact and not removed. After being told that there was nothing they could do, I took to Twitter. Same thing. Then, I went with their online chat, and spent almost an hour being bounced from Saran to Georgia, and then eventually to John. All of whom told me, unreservedly, that they wouldn't entertain my claim because it was a musical instrument. No matter how many times I reiterated that this is acceptable within their terms IF the packaging remains intact and the fault therefore lies with the person who packaged the item up, in this case it's not the same. Because someone removed the very packaging that protected the keyboard from damage. So now, because someone somewhere along their chain decided to open the package and not replace any of the protective packaging, I no longer have the keyboard to resell as it is non-functional, and I'm also down the £400 that the buyer paid, as well as £112.67 for shipping. This wasn't my first time using Parcel2Go, but it's the first time I've had to place a claim, and I'm disgusted by how long it takes their representatives to actually reply to a realtime conversation, how their telephone agents refuse to consider anything other than whatever is written within their contingency manual, and how nobody there will accept that, but for the fact someone had physically removed all of the protective packaging, the keyboard would still be fully intact and functional. Their insurance is 100% worthless. Their guaranteed delivery premium is equally worthless. The company is a sham.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We paid for a parcel to be sent with Christmas presents in it. We insured it for £30. The parcel was not delivered and according to the tracking, it was still in the shop. I put in a non delivery report which took 2 weeks to be confirmed. Then I completed all documentation that they asked for. They agreed that it was missed but offered less than the insured amount and less than I provided receipts for. They are a waste of time.

DO NOT BELIEVE THEIR PRICES! I used them a little while back to send a small parcel. I measured it, weighed it and double checked it. I booked the whole thing online and sure enough the parcel was delivered to the recipient. About a week later they emailed me to say the parcel was bigger than I had stated and that I owed another £3.30. Because I was confident of my measurements and the parcel had already been successfully delivered I did not pay. The other point of note is that despite them telling me the actual parcel size was bigger than I had put in the order, the volume of it was still a lot smaller than what I had paid for. I will never use them again and would urge all readers to take note of this and all the other 1 star reviews on here.

I would never use this company again or the courier they arranged to pick up and drop off my package. I arranged a pickup and drop off for a large package. This was arranged through Parcel2Go to use Hermes. They did not turn up for two days on the trot to pick up the parcel. When I investigated this with them they just hid behind their "96% success rate" for pick ups. Having had them fail twice on the trot i don't remotely believe that statistic. I would never use this company again, very poor. Also, I requested a refund due to their incompetence, for some reason it take s5-7 to process this. They are charlatans! Avoid and go direct, at least the courier has to answer to you directly...

Returned an unused item to the manufacturer, or at least tried to. Despite being a huge heavy parcel it got lost. Started a claim and uploaded the documents, but they just keep fobbing you off saying that the documents are not satisfactory for "proof of value", despite sending copies of orders and PDF invoices. There's no number to call them on. Will be writing to consumer watchdogs.

I have only ever had the displeasure of using Parcel2Go once, and that is once too often. Like other customers I took out protection (which appears not to be insurance but internal funding within Parcel2Go and hence their reluctance, and seemingly in most cases failure, to make good on their undertakings), guaranteed delivery and signature on delivery. My items were lost which was confirmed by Parcel2Go; notwithstanding this they wanted me to provide third party proof of non-delivery, even though the courier's (Hermes) own tracking system showed that the items had not got as far as their own delivery depot, let alone the intended destination. Nor had they got a signature (as they were supposed to) so clearly they had not made the delivery and/or had not provided the service purchased. I made an online claim in the small claims court (it is easy and costs only £25 which is recoverable if the claim succeeds); I can only surmise that the legal action prompted Parcel2Go to eventually settle my claim and refund carriage costs (which seems only right given that they did not actually provide the carriage service contracted). This is the second time that I have tried to return goods using Hermes; the first did not go well either, with the shop where I was leaving the item refusing to accept it (but I left it there anyway). I will not be using either Parcel2Go nor Hermes again, although I do question whether that will bother either company.

The mark of a good company is how they respond when things go wrong. Using this measure then parcel2go must be down there with the very worst. I took out extended cover to ensure an item I was sending was covered to its value. It's was packed well, bubble wrapped in multiple layers and externally very secure. Unfortunately the package was still damaged, damage that could only have been inflicted through major mishandling. So I contacted parcel2go to claim. Sent a photo of the damage and waited. I got an email informing me that I hadn't provided enough information. I needed to supply photos of the internal and external packaging. I pointed out that nowhere does it suggest such photos would be required or advise that you take them, but apparently without them the claim could not be processed, despite their agent accepting the parcel and the clear damage, which could only have been caused by significant mistreatment. I pointed out that I couldn't provide these 'required photos' and as a result the 'deadline' for claims passed and my claim lapsed. The claim process is a sham, designed to make it nigh on impossible to succeed in a claim. They don't care, they work on getting as many deliveries as possible, quantity not quality, if a few of us drop out of the end due to terrible experiences, it's ok because there are plenty more lured in by the ultra low prices. I've learnt the hard way that it's cheap for a reason. Pay a couple of quid more and get a professional outfit on the job if you value your delivery.

Posted my item from France to England on 8th November , it never left France, started a claim after weeks of me emailing them and going on live chat . I was told after a month that it had been found and would take 3days to return to sender, never arrived, then I was told I needed to give details of my item which they already had from previous emails and chats and have now been told that I have to prove that I have not received the parcel before they give me a refund. The customer services is a joke. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
