Waited for a delivery, either the 26th or the 27th. After waiting most of the morning on the 26th, I left the house, to finding a card on the floor stating'no-one at home at time of delivery'. I called to explain what occurred. I was advised the package (microwave) was still on the van, notnyet at the Post Office, and delivery was re-arranged for the 27th. I again waited most of the morning, then decided to check the tracker, and found that the package was at the post Office anyway! I then called to make a complaint, which was not well received by the female that answers the phone at the depot. She was quite arrogant, and She implied heavily it wasn't my doing, and that they could only re-arrange delivery for three or four days later. I had specifically taken you days off in order to be at home when the microwave was delivered, and was not going to do it again. I then had to make my way to the Post Office, and return in a taxi, more cost.i would not recommend this company at all.

Parcel out for delivery on Wednesday according to their tracker - waited in all day only to find later the tracker now said 'insufficient address' Phoned Parcelforce to confirm address and give them my phone details in case there was a further problem - was assured item would now be delivered on Thursday. Waited in all day Thursday only for exactly the same problem! Spent another 20 mins. on phone to Parcelforce on Thursday confirming all details again - was assured would definitely be delivered on Friday. At no time did anyone (e.g. the delivery driver) have the sense or courtesy to phone me! Checked their tracker first thing Friday morning only to find the parcel was still not out for delivery. Phoned yet again and was told there had been an error and parcel had not been sent out for delivery on Friday after all and it could now not be delivered until Saturday or Monday! Explained that I could not waste more more time waiting in and instructed them to return the parcel to the sender & that I would phone the sender to cancel the order which I duly did. Not expecting to hear anymore from them, I was amazed when the door bell rang around midday on Friday - it was Parcelforce with the delivery! Asked why it was now being delivered when I had asked for it to be returned, he just gave me a an angry look and said he would take it away again. All in all an utterly miserable experience (not the first time this has happened with Parcelfarce) and will avoid any supplier that uses Parcelfarce in the future!

I ordered a bottle of whiskey from a company based inScotland. On the day I received a text message from Parcelforce telling me that it would be delivered before or on 19 September. The day before the 19th I received a text message saying that it will be delivered on the Monday 19th . On the morning of the 19th I will receive the text message telling me that it would be delivered between 10.16am and 11:16 AM it was delivered at 10:45 AM. That's what I call excellent service and based on that service I'm going to use Parcelforce all the time I don't think I've ever had such excellent service from a parcel delivery company. I'm not sure why these other people are given them such bad reviews but for me it seems like a five star company.

Attempted delivery several times - latest being today when I was out for 15 minutes having taken the day off work to wait for the parcel! The problem is that they do NOT allow any statement of a necessary delivery window. Also I am told that the parcel is being held in Stoke and I live in Stockport. That inconvenience rules out my driving to collect the parcel. And finally, the web page is totally inflexible with absolutely no option to communicate to them other than via a web form to customer services. We'll see if they reply to my frustrated query.

missed a delivery on Wednesday and called to reschedule to the post office for Friday. I got a text later that day that it will redelivered, I went to the post office on Friday and I was informed there was no attempt to deliver. I called Rotherham depot and spoke to Kelly, she explained that they can redeliver on Saturday but I would have to pay, we had a little back and forth and I asked her to transfer me to her manager. Apparently the manager was too busy to listen to my complaint and I would have to pay the £12 charge. There was no alternative or gesture or good will. I have heard a lot of bad reviews about your company and I was actually nervous to even have my parcel delivered by your company. It's unfortunate you are actually showing me what your company really is which is the worst.

Parcel Number: FWFS2232427GB Claims Number: WC-1171788 Dropped a golf club driver off at local post office on Mon 8/8/2016 for ParcelForce 48. Tried to track it two days later, no information. Called their service team countless times, got transferred to their Coventry Hub, spoke with Colin, he told me that somehow they had put the post office address on the parcel and were going to deliver it back there. *The correct address label had been put on the box by myself!! Colin said he would find it and call me back, Hey Colin I'm still awaiting that call!! After countless calls and visits to the post office they found they parcel in the North West. They finally delivered it on August 19th, great 48 hour service. You can only claim for the postage costs, outrageous!! it cost me a fortune in time and calls sorting this out. The staff there are still in their "Nationalised Industry" world and don't give a damn about customer service. Will never use again and neither should anybody.

Ordered Global Express for international delivery within 24 hours. It still hasn't arrived. It left the UK 23/8/16 and today is 27/8/16. I've been told to expect the delivery sometime on Monday. Your company is not fit for purpose.

Received a text advising delivery between 12-1pm , remember them being a terrible service and they lived up to my memories , also after contacting the South East Depo , which seems to be completely incapable of providing any sort of customer service , advised the delivery would be before 6pm , its the next day , delivery not received , apparently Manager would contact me but no call . They are not fit for purpose

Absolutely appalling service. Needed a parcel delivered to France next day. Arrived in 2 days later and when I called nobody could tell me where the parcel was, phone calls weren't returned. My son then had a parcel that needed collection between 1 and 5. We arrived at 12 having made a special journey to find they arrived at 11! After 3 phone calls (only 1 person returning a call) they said it was booked between 9 and 3. Shocking service.

Did not deliver package on advised dates 3 times (7am-6pm) meaning I was waiting around for a total of 3 days, and each time I called to find out why and assist them anyway I could, the first two times saying the same inexplicable excuse and then the 3rd simply saying someone forgot to put the package out for delivery. It is ridiculous that this company even exist as a delivery comapny incapable of delivering a package.

They picked up the delivery a day late from the person I am buying from then on the Friday it was meant to be delivered they forgot to load it on the van apparently even though it's probably the 3 biggest parcels to go in the van . So you'd think first thing Monday morning to make up for it . Nope . Nothing . So perhaps 3time lucky first thing Tuesday morning . Nope ..... Still waiting . An actual joke of a company

I was using mix of companies but have found that parcelforce must handle their parcels so roughly! I've received parcels that have been well wrapped that are damaged and also sent items with a ridiculously huge amount of bubble wrap only to find they been damaged. U less your sending something like a house brick it will be on their long list of excluded from insurance items. They're expensive too. Others can deliver on time and good condition. Why not parcelforce. Gone elsewhere I'm afraid.

I gave one star as I can't go lower. Truly dreadful company. I own a farm. It's quite big, 400 acres and has its own unique postcode which takes you directly to the house. It's not out of the way or difficult to find as every other delivery company in the uk will confirm. Why then, armed with a postcode, an address, a phone number and even directions on the label, do parcel force drivers still not have the intelligence to find my house? To this day they have spectacularly failed to deliver a single parcel to me. My heart sinks whenever I see I'm getting a (non) delivery from this outlet.

I sent a very carefully packed in original box & glass item worth £168. They managed to smash it. 3 weeks i sent e-mails, saying they had broken it, they asked for this & that, & in the end they tell me it,s not covered because it was glass, as stated to them in the first e-mail. Absolutely worthless. It was so well packed they must have thrown it to smash it. Many other companies, for your sanity & pocket go elsewhere!!!!!

TL;DR: 0/anything review, they have one job to do which is too difficult for them. There's no way to truly describe how awful Parcelforce is as a company and how atrocious their service is. Out of numerous incidents I had with them (and every time I had a delivery with them it was not out of my own choice - it's because they seem to have some sort of monopoly on EMS parcels from abroad) the most spectacular cock up of them all. I had an EMS delivery - they're supposed to take up to 10 working days, but took nearly a month due to customs. Then I waited for a letter asking for payment of tax, which never arrived, but fortunately I managed to sort this one over the phone (there's one nice and competent person in Oxford for the entire company). After a month I finally had my delivery scheduled, so I arranged with a family member to collect it as I work regular business hours. Come back home in the evening: no parcel, no "attempted delivery" card, nothing - and yet the tracking happily exclaims that the item's been delivered. I phone the depot the next morning only to be "served" by a rude man who rudely told me that my parcel's been delivered to number 9, not 19. He kept interrupting me, sounded as if he couldn't care less and was very clear about washing his/the company's hands off the entire thing claiming it was not their responsibility. I was lucky enough to be able to receive my parcel (thank you, good neighbour at no 9), and examined the postage label - lo and behold, it does say 19! Just as the 4 (not one, FOUR) separate emails from the original seller said. I contact Parcelforce to complain and ask for some form of compensation, providing them with photos and screenshots of the original postage label and all four emails with the address highlighter - nope! Lorraine, who was emailing me, not only continued to accept that the misdelivery was Parcelforce's mistake, but upon receiving the photo of the original postage label said, and I quote directly from her email, "Also thank you for the attachment which clearly shows the house number was number 9". Couldn't even bother to phrase this in a more professional way, confirming Parcelforce's very childish and unprofessional attitude towards both their customers and accepting responsibility for their cock ups. Needless to say, no constructive advice, never mind any kind of compensation, was offered. As I said, this was just the last of many "wonderful" adventures I have had with this joke of a company. I am shocked that, given the current level of atrocious customer service, they continue to exist, and even 1 out of anything is way too high for what they're actually delivering. I have vowed to make extra effort to avoid them as much as possible, even if it will cost me triple the price in postage, and I urge every single one of you to take your custom somewhere else, where your parcels will not be mishandled by illiterate delivery drivers, where you won't have to deal with rude, unprofessional and unhelpful customer service and where you'll have peace of mind about whether your items will ever even get to you/your recipients.
