“How this shambles of a company is still in existence baffles me. Never, ever have they delivered on time. When I complain they try to fob me off with their usual waffle and excuses. The Bodmin, Cornwall branch is particularly bad and that's saying something! A total bunch of muppets!”
“Read the other reviews: a totally rubbish company which should be shut down!
I wish I could give it no stars! Antique print, well wrapped, arrived to the sound of smashed glass. Even the delivery driver said it needed to be marked " Damaged on arrival". Glass was not simply cracked or broken, but smashed to smithereens. Parcel must have been flung around or jumped on. Even the picture was damaged. Will try for compensation, as suggested by delivery driver, but am sure they will quote the fact that pictures/ antiques/ glass are exemptions. Difficult to find something that isn't an exemption! However, will add to their growing pile of complaints - why should they keep getting away with this appalling level of service?”
“The Parcelforce driver caused £500 worth of damage to my car by allowing his trolley to strike it.
They offered me 20% contribution to damage repair.
I had to threaten legal action before they paid up in full.
Bully boys tactics!”
“Usual shocking service. I get a lot of deliveries from all the usual delivery companies but only ParcelForce seem to never be able to find me. Same rubbish today...got a text for delivery between 8.10 and 9.10am. 9.30 came and went.. no surprise. Looked at the Tracker and it says "insufficient address". Rang them up checked the address...all fine no problem Turns out once again they couldnt find me (aka didnt bother to find me). Rang them at 9.30, gave explicit instructions and my phone number (yes the one they send texts to) and was told it was coming later. Now 5pm...and rang them again and it's back in the depot. They refuse to delivery tomorrow (as it's Satuday) and that is an extra charge so wasted another day sitting at home for nothing. Parcel Farce more like!”
“i missed a delivery and went on line to arrange a re-delivery. took the morning off work, but guess what? the parcel didn't arrive! i rang the depot to be told"you are better off ringing, the on-line service doesn't work that well"
the advisor i spoke to said they would deliver the following day, and i arranged for the parcel to be left with a neighbour ( who waited in especially to receive it). but of course the parcel never arrived!
i again rang the depot to be told " sorry the driver forgot to put it on his van", but we can deliver tomorrow.
i informed him that i was at work, and wouldnt be able to take the delivery, so arranged with him for it to be delivered saturday morning. i was told they would waive the charge for the inconvenience.
and lo and behold the parcel has been delivered this morning (friday) to my neighbour who luckily was in!
this company is shambolic, and don't have a clue what they are doing!
i have been informed that the parcel is very badly damaged, and i am hoping the contents are still intact.
i suppose i should be grateful it has arrived at all given the total ineptitude of this company.
on-line retailers should take note, as any offering services using parcel force will not be getting my business! try Hermes they are much better!!”
“""I paid over £50.00 to get armchair delivered. Parcelforce managed to break all four legs off it. They scratched them, a piece of the wood on one of the legs was missing. The customer on the other side refused it. Parcelforce just said sorry, no compensation for furniture damage. No refund for the delivery. NOTHING! Basically, i paid to have my armchair damaged and my client annoyed.”
“""Absolute disgrace of a company. No communication and they make mistake after mistake, resulting in a 48 hour delivery service taking a week! I thankfully wasn't the one paying the extortionate rates for this service but I feel very sorry for the seller who did.”
“Worst experience ever. I had decided to send some items with them, including some bottles, that were properly wrapped and cushioned in the box, a porcelain cup that was also bubble wrapped. And the box was labeled fragile all over. It was going fine, the next day at 8AM the parcel already reached Basignstoke depot and it was safe. Suddenly at 14 the next day it was labeled as damaged. Only one small bottle broke, but I was given a really shitty photo to prove, where one cant see shit. No photo of the broken saucer, they repackaged my goods into a different box, claiming the old one was ruined - i cant see 250ml bottle ruining quite a big box that bad... basically they did not provide prove. They rejected my claim to the losses, and pushed the blame on me that I didnt pack the items correctly. Really really bad service. I would only advice to send hard items and cheapest way possible. Basically dont user parcel force, go royal mail then :)”
“The most disgraceful company that I have dealt with. Numerous damaged parcels and each time there is a fabricated new rule as to why a refund can't be issued.
An embarrassing partnership for Royal Mail to have affiliated with.”
“A word of advice to any customers who have had late delivery of parcels, missing or damaged parcels... fill the online claims form in and make this company refund you what ever percentage they lay out in their terms. Even if you think it's not worth bothering still do it, Make them have to issue a cheque and postage of it to you even if it's only a pound! They'll be employing more claims staff than delivery staff!!”
“""Paid for Saturday delivery, for a reason! It arrived in the correct depot at 7:15am and when called 3x all been told different things...
1) my parcel out for delivery, and will be with me by 12:00
2) 12:10 called again was told system is down....
3) called again at 12:28 was told that my parcel will be dispatched and out for delivery for Monday?.... I might as well paid for standard delivery, instead of paying £19.95 for Saturday delivery!
Absolutely joke of a company fuming is not the word right now!”
“"Charges and fee paid on Monday 29 Aug 17 (with receipt plus transaction on my bank statement) . Instead of receiving my parcel +1 day, I received a 2nd letter to pay on +5 day (Saturday 02 Sep 17). They are ridiculous
"”
“Absolutely rubbish company. Still function like its 1975. Just throw you parcels on to a lorry and presume that everyone is at home during working hours. System in dire need of an update where couriers notify and keep in touch with customers in order to enable successful deliveries.”
“My friend paid almost £80 to send a parcel of sentimental value, we trusted parcelforce. It
was posted from Dorset, UK to Tbilisi, Georgia, on 26/08/2017, today is 29/09/2017 and the parcel has not arrived in Tbilisi. I have gone to Tbilisi Central Post Office twice and the parcel is not there. I have written to parcelforce customer services twice and they keep telling me the parcel would be delivered between 9-14 days as it was sent on global value, well it's been 26 days and nothing. They say 'global value' can't be tracked, why give customers tracking number for a parcel you can't track. You sold us a lie as this was never explained. Is this the worst service ever?
Please locate my parcel and either keep at Tbilisi Central Post Office for me to collect or return to sender in Dorset, UK. I don't want a refund, I want my parcel and I'm not a happy bunny!
Ref no: CP631541603GB”
“ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING SERVICE.
SENT LETTER TO ITALY GUARANTEED NEXT DAY DELIVERY COST OVER £40. ARRIVED 5 DAYS LATER COSTING ME £1000'S IN LOST COMMISSION, TRIED TO MAKE A CLAIM WHICH WAS REJECTED AND THE REASON FOR REJECTION "DELIVERED ON TIME". THEY ARE LIARS AND CHEATS, WILL NEVER USE AGAIN”
“they've stolen my parcel, but telling me that it was lost inside their stoke warehouse;maybe the worse warehouse in uk-thieves-that's exactly what they are;ps:it was quite an expansive item”
