If I could give them no stars I would. My father ordered an item online, it was an expensive item and the Royal Mail postman delivered a note a few days ago stating that the item needs to be collected and it’s at the local Royal Mail depot. My father went to collect it today and the manager there said they don’t have it and they can’t find it (despite the postman stating it’s at the depot). It is possible someone just stole the item which is a shame. And nobody will do anything about it and nobody will be held respsonsible. Unhelpful staff, terrible service, there are no regulations on how to deal with such problems. I’d avoid Royal Mail at all costs if I could. If something serious like this were to happen in a more rigorously controlled government service like the NHS, there would be lawsuits and those responsible would be prosecuted. Stealing is not acceptable at any cost. The Royal Mail needs fixing ASAP

This is by far one of the most carriers for International shipping, I lost a lot of money and time because of their terrible service. You pay extra cash with the hopes that they will take extra care but that does not happen. As soon as your parcel leaves the UK is based on luck if it ia going to be delivered or not...honestly.

First class signed for parcel not delivered after 7 days, Non existent customer service, waiting on phone for 30 minutes, frustrating and anxious experience. Sent a special delivery item also earlier this month, arrived 1 day late, royal mails services these days is very poor, use them if you want a massive amount of stress and anxiety, otherwise use a fully tracked courier service like dpd or hermes.

I tracked my parcel online showed delivered but I didn’t get it and no card was left. They send letter to apologise can’t do anything as the system shows delivered and person who delivered didn’t recall. I appreciate that but still I didn’t get it

Absolutely horrible service. They said they lost my parcel and didn't even apologise. And it's been more than a month since I have claimed it but no news so far. Useless retards.

Royal Mail is a bad company! I lost a lot of money and items because Royal Mail not updating their tracking system to proof the delivery... Everytime i post from Greece to UK is a nightmare!

Hardly any of my deliveries to the US turned up in October, which led to me having to make loads of refunds, and then to top it all this led to bad reviews and therefore badly affected my sales. I wrote to the Royal Mail in December and they didn’t even reply, how rude. The other day I started the claim process, but I only managed one, as it took 1/2 hour, just not worth it, and that’s where it’s all wrong. I want an explanation, an apology and compensation - not to be ignored

Is this the procedure for 1st class correspondence? One 1st class letter ended up on the ground amongst leaves and puddles... I can't help but wonder if this was the same for ALL my documents sent to the Home Office through "first class-signed for"?! ... by the way, I've received their official answer to the letter I've sent them, and they didn't received any correspondence from me.... therefore my letter was "delivered in a professional way". I've hoped all this time that if it wasn't delivered to the Home Office it will be sent back to me(RTS), but it was in vain. 1 star is already too much.

England - Royal Mail Workers. You still have our package it’s been since the beginning of December. We paid extra in customs and taxes and shipping fees. Why are you holding on to the package? Why haven’t you delivered it? Why did my receiver have to pay money to pick up thier package up last year? What is going on? Is their no accountability? They don’t live on the top of Everest, nor do they live in the remote parts of the rainforest, but they live in Belfast. Is that a difficult place to deliver to? I mean wtf is going on there? I know Royal Mail has educated individuals so what’s the problem with delivering packages, why are you holding on to the package in England when it shoulda gone to Northern Ireland?

Why cannot Royal Mail update its tracking system & accountability mechanism so that I can get contact with the deliveryman who actually screwed it up and figure out what was going on?

Royal Mail is a joke, you have no way to contact them other then send a complaint which gets binned, the phone service is useless, 60mins on hold. Still waiting on my Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed 1pm > it's now Day 4.

Horrible mail service!! I never received my item from the U.K. Thanks to Royal Mail it screwed up my Christmas because I needed the item for Christmas. Never again!

So I ordered an item from overseas and had to pay a customs fee which I did and arranged for the parcel to be delivered on January 10th but the parcel failed to arrive on that day.

I also would give no stars if this was possible. This is the second I have with Royal Mail. My first issue was an item showed on tracking as being delivered when it was not and there was no calling card through the door. I spent an hour on hold before getting through to Royal Mail to resolve the issue, the next issue however is that I have not revceived my item. I ordered for next day delivery on Monday and was told by the seller the item would be guaranteed delivery on Tuesday however no parcel received yesterday, it showed on tracking an apology that it had been delivered to the wrong depo, it showed my parcel should arrive by 1pm today but it did not. I telephoned Royal Mail and I was put on hold for 45mins with no resolution they told me my parcel might come today or it might not and I could put in complaint but they are unable to say when my parcel will arrive but advised I wait in another 4hours as it should arrive before 6pm it’s now 6pm and no parcel and I’ve been trying to call them since 5pm...and still no answer for Royal Mail. I was told earlier they made a mistake and it should come before 6pm.. I have waited in now for 48hours and now my call has been disconnected as Royal Mail are convientently shut after having me on hold for nearly an hour!!

Don’t bother paying the extra for signatures as they just don’t bother getting them! I am sick of Royal Mail costing me money due to their lack of effort and total disregard of their customers!!

Over the Christmas period no less than four deliveries of mine have gone missing thanks to Royal mail. What angers me even more is the fact they take no responsibility for any of it... yet when I contacted Amazon they not only reimbursed me, they even gave me an extension on my Prime account for FREE... if they can do this when it's NOT even their fault, why does the Royal Mail get off scot free with not so much as an apology? Bunch of thieving, conning liars! I'll never order anything again if the sender relies on these tossers.
