“My International Track + sign package has been at Heathrow Distribution for 9 days (arrived there 6th June 2023)without any movement. I’ve been told by Royal Mail Customer Service that if it hasn’t moved by 3rd June 2023 I will have to make a claim for its loss. What kind of terrible service is this ?”
“Yet another package gone i sent gone AWOL and there has been quite a few lately. A lot of thieving going on at Royal Mail now as there is no way so many items and i mean thousands of packages go missing every week. Where are they all?. This company are not fit for purpose anymore and are accountable to no-one. Do not compensate you anymore just send you a book of stamps if you are lucky. No wonder British companies are going down the pan and cannot compete when they are employing illiterates to run them and work in them”
“Even though I paid for a first class service, which stated that my parcel would be delivered within two working days and signed for, my parcel did not arrive at my daughters house until six days later. She had to go and buy another wedding dress. When I tried to complain, they said there was no guarantee attached to these two days delivery, so I can't even get the money back. Such a rubbish service. Will try not to use them again.”
“Disgusting customer service. You wait a very long time for them to answer the phone. Only for them to then put the phone down on you whilst you are explaining your problem. If these people do not like doing their job? Then they should not be working for royal mail.”
“Basically they are a fraudulant company. They are contracted to collect our mail (Business relies upon it) but every month they stop collecting. They consistently state that they have not been paid, yet they raid our bank acc taking the same payment 3 times. The business is now on its knees and people will lose jobs.
Nothing ever gets resolved and they just do not care.
DO NOT USE THEM, they will screw you over.”
“Working for a company relies heavily on delivery services. From a 4 day delivery time, to a 3 week delivery time. This is UK to UK delivery. Overseas can take almost 2 months at this point. The website shows no way to actually contact the company, and no way to log a formal complain on how much of a joke the company has become.
Post is often lost, damaged or completely abandoned with no hope of hearing anything about. Tracked deliveries are a waste of money, with the tracking not showing information for weeks.”
“Stamps are now £1.10 for first class and 75p for second class despite their service being utterly terrible. We are constantly having our mail delivered to the wrong address and having other people's mail delivered to us. There is no such thing as next day delivery despite the rip-off price of stamps. And don't get me started on parcels, EVERY SINGLE TIME I'm expecting a parcel I see the postman walk around with the 'sorry I missed you' slips pre-written. They just put them through your letterbox and you KNOW he's not carrying any parcels. They make no attempt to ring or knock, they just sneak around putting 'missed you' slips through the door as it saves them loads if time. Pathetic service, I hope they go out of business.”
“My wife’s Christmas card from her daughter in Hampshire never arrived. Again her birthday card posted two weeks ago is yet to arrive. Royal Mail should be forced to pay compensation.”
“Postman refuses to ring bell or knock. Always just leaves card even though I am here. Heaps of mail never received by people I sent items to. I never received more than half of my mail at this address. Last address more than ninety percent of my mail went to somebody else's property. Even tracked and signed for never arrived but said signed.
Listen, I know you at royal mail get paid peanuts. If you are not happy with this fact, why did you take the job? You knew the pay you would get before you took on the role. If you are no longer happy, just quit and take another job. Don't strike for more pay. You fail to do the job you are paid to do right now.
Just DELIVER my mail and packets/parcels.”
“Not for for the XXI c - so inflexible, backward and totally irresponsible. Impossible to get parcel redelivered. Filled the form, booked a day of work to sit and wait. Nothing. Took me 30 min wait at 2.30pm to get to customer "service" only to be lied to about later during the day delivery (their own website says - before 3 pm). Of course nothing happened and I had to waste yet another day in the hope they can manage to deliver a parcel eventually. They just can't manage the basics.”

Posted Royal Mail: 110A4A5242E on 11/04, Friday, 15/04 she got a txt saying parcel would arrive and it wasted her time and she phoned only to be told it was the wrong box and 20th, she still didn't have it. As these are flowering, not flour, I refunded me £13.45. Yesterday, it was reported Royal Mail £726m yesterday. I'm livid. They make it almighty difficult to claim: go to the online where you can't tell if the number is 0 or O. They should either use number first or letters first instead of making me guess whether it is an O or a zero. They also disable all copy function. After paying £3 to be treated like an idiot. Why nobody complains? Then when checking 11 letters/ numbers TWICE, it says sorry you have to wait 10 days which is today and the form had to be abandoned. I'm so livid: plants 10 days in a box will be no good. I refunded the customer and I don't make £726m treating my customers like this! And they covered their track that they had delivered the item.”
“I've found Royal Mail generally quite good, however -
I've arranged a collection 2 days running, and on both occasions my parcel has not been collected.
I get an email when it's past the collection time cut-off saying, "Collection failed". What's going on?”

“I arranged the collection of a parcel to be sent tracked, my first time but never again, I waited I emailed them but got my email back because the address for the Royal Mail collection was not recognised ! I replied to their email ! lost my whole day I couldn't do anything because I'd no idea if they would come. Can't they get anything right ! dreadful since it was taken over it was a service to be proud of but now not worth a second glance Mario”
“Appalling service. I had an extremely urgent parcel so I paid the highest price for Special Delivery, guaranteed next day at 1 PM. It did not arrive on the next day. Calling customer services, I waited on hold for a long time, then an entirely unhelpful person told me that actually if you read the small print in the FAQ of the website, next day guaranteed doesn't mean next day guaranteed. My parcel would actually be delivered in 6 days, and there is nothing I can do about it. Dishonest advertising, and a very poor and unintuitive website UI. Will not be using again if I can help it.”
“The world's worst carrier in the world. The Corby lot are dishonest. All of my letters bank statements are opened and delayed. Parcels disappear, damaged or opened. As this is a criminal offence I reported it to the police, but they are corrupt and deny the law stating its OK to open steal and delay my post. What a total disgrace no wonder noone trusts or likes the police. Its hard to tell the good guys from the bad.”
