In one week they missplaced 3 if my parcels, one from Zara that they eventually manage to bring me back, but the other two dissapeared, one of them was refused with signature-and of course it was not my signature but they keept telling me that if is signed they cannot bring it back...they don't seem to care at all about their clients, i'm so frustrated because i thought that in my country (Romania) the post services are bad, but it never happened this, it's just unbelieaveble...

Redelivery never happened for two separate items. Very disappointed in RM as they need to do better.

Supplier posted a key to me on 22nd October 2018, First Class and Tracked in U.K. to me approximately 100 miles away maximum. Four days later item had still not arrived. Third party (Royal Mail) told me that I had to wait until 3rd November 2018 until I could make a complaint. Having experienced problems before And Royal Mail having been paid contractually for a First Class delivery for what is U.K. mail I find this unacceptable for any business. Readers of this will be surprised to know item is a key in a Jiffy bag and tracked. How could it possibly go wrong and this is not the first time. Customers and suppliers should not have to finance losses and their personal time wasted without adequate compensation or answers. I would suggest that compensation should be for an hourly rate of £50 an hour, postage and item replacement at cost. If we all stuck to this then I am sure fewer items would go missing in the post! This is my third such personal experience and I am a witness to several other people’s experiences as well. Nothing gets done and I personally believe that such experiences should be investigated thoroughly at the Royal Mails’ expense and time and not the customers’. Totally unacceptable.

Stuff always seems to be delivered but the tracking info is very poor. All it ever says is that an item has been posted and eventually updates when delivered but theres no updates as to when its coming or where it is etc.?

We have been trying for 5 weeks to order a first class postage book for our business. The website done not have any contact details on the contact us page, we cannot see any way to order the book online. to find a phone number of someone to talk to we had to google, complaining about royal mail and was then told it was the wrong number and to try another. We then waited 10 minutes in a queue, to get told our account hasn't been activated which is why we can't see the process of how to order supplies and that any complaints would need to go through the make a complaint page. They could not answer why no one had contacted us after one week from our previous complaint. An appalling company with a pointless website and very poor service considering the hike in postage prices from them since they were privatised. A true case of rip off Britain in play!

I am sick and tired of telling you guys to leave my parcels at my neighbour’s house as I am NEVER at home the time you lot deliver. I have to go through hell with you guys to get my parcels. I either have to skip work or uni it’s RIDICULOUS!!! For over a year I’m having this problem. I complain in the office. Online, phone call, email and yet here I am again requesting a redelivery for a parcel I WILL NOT BE AT HOME TO RECEIVE!

Disgraceful service needs complete review of how they work we are customers and the service we receive is utterly disgraceful. I am in waiting for a parcel and they put a card through my door saying im not home they never ring the bell or knock then walk away. I go to sorting office more than the postman does im fed up of going and i am disabled so its difficult to get there to collect my stuff. My post delivery times vary wildly from day time upto 7pm at night which is not good enough. What a shame this service is ive made several complaints all have been ignored. I did receive a reply saying it gets delivered at 6 or 7 pm as the post van gets stuck in traffic what sort of an excuse is that. Royal mail is a joke .

I have experienced tampering with my mail by Royal Mail staff for almost 2 years (verified in writing by at least 2 of my banks on several occasions.) After I first complained, the postman started harassing me, first verbally and then it progressed to active predatory and stalking behaviour where he would film me from behind, invade my personal space, etc. Complained to Royal Mail numerous times and they denied any wrongdoing. I reported the postman to the Met police for harassment and they said I had to wait until he assaulted me before they would do anything. Meanwhile he made a vexatious complaint against me and the police came to my house and threatened me with arrest. They said if i kept complaining, I would be arrested for harassment. Here we have a perfect example of life in a corporatocracy, where a corporation uses the police to intimidate members of the public not to complain about demonstrable misconduct and service failures.

If I could give zero stars I would! Sent a letter by 1st class signed for within the UK. 4 days later, its still Not reached its destination. What has happened to our once 'to be proud of ' postal system?? It's an utter shambles!!!

Horrendous service, lost a tracked item no effort to find it. Even rang the sorting office and they wouldn't even check if it was there they told me to wait a few more days and claim. What a joke, pretty you never have to speak to Jerry at the Northampton sorting office.

They are the worst company for deliver available, will provide you with the worst service possible. So if you are looking for a consistent letdown, use royal mail.

Awful. Stuck in the past. I used to be a real advocate of the royal mail. Possibly just from a heritage perspective. However they have not moved with the times and with that holds a certain arrogance in their business processes which unfortunately inconveniences customers. I'm a huge Amazon shopper and every other delivery company seems to get the gist of putting the parcel in the "safe place", except royal mail who posted a card through my letterbox asking me to collect from a nearby sorting office which closed at 12.45 midweek. Extremely inconvenient for someone who works full time. When I asked why they did this they informed me that putting in a safe place was at the postman's discretion. No. I disagree. I have already okayed this safe place with Amazon and I do not have time to be inconvenienced by poor royal mail business processes. Am I a fan of royal mail anymore? No. I hope Amazon supplier's stop using them.

I had a really important package to send from Dundee, Scotland to Paris, France. Royal Mail Tracked and Signed in 3-5 days seemed to fit the bill, how wrong was I!!!! My package was posted on 27.09.18 and for 2 days I tracked it and could see it had left the UK & arrived in France then nothing, nada, rien! What I quickly realised was that Royal Mail tracked & signed meant tracked until your package leaves the UK then basically you are on your own. On phoning Royal Mail, it took trying the whole day and hanging on for 55mins to actually speak to someone, who could only tell me what I could see for myself on the website, my package had left the UK on 29.09.18 and I’d know nothing more until it was delivered. The only other advice I was given was to claim compensation if it hadn’t arrived after 20 days - great, thanks a lot!!!! On 12.10.18 after checking the tracking website for La Post in France every day for almost two weeks with nothing except ‘in transit’ I could see my package had indeed arrived at the local post office and was ready for collection. Because I’d used Tracked & Signed no attempt was made to deliver the package as a signature was required!!!! Fortunately I was doing my best to track the package and could understand the French website to be able to understand no attempt was going to be made to deliver and could direct the recipient as to where and how to collect the package. So, £10.50 and 15 days later the parcel was duly collected and later that same day the Royal Mail website showed the packages had successfully been delivered - poetic license I think?! The irony is the package was really important and despite the fact I was going to France myself on 6.10.18, not to Paris but I could have brought it with me and at least sent it internal mail for a lot less. I felt it couldn’t wait and chose a service I thought I could have trusted but now realise is actually misrepresented and indeed missold. There are plenty of other carrier services that do exactly what they say they’ll do and hat you can track from pick up right through to delivery. I’ve used ‘send my bag’ a few times and found them excellent, this time I thought the package was only small, 500gms and Royal Mail was the best option, never again. I could never recommend this service, it’s a complete sham.

Terrible and often no postal deliveries, also a severe shortage of post boxes. Royal mail is now run for the shareholders and not its customers.

We have recently sent 2 lots of documents to Spain using the track and sign for service. One lot took 10 days to arrive and the other took 12 days. Each lot had several days where they never moved from Madrid and the first lot were days before leaving the UK. The tracking system is a total waste of money and in future we will use another company.
