“Tracking isn't working I mailed a parcel first class tracking on December 11th and it hasn't arrived and tracking hasn't been updated since December 15th we can only assume our parcels are being stolen by staff😠”

“I sent a set of 4 prescription lenses to my son on 17th November 2020 and they never arrived,he has keratakonis which is a serious eye condition..they cost £220..I couldn't afford the tracking or insurance due to the cost of the lenses”

“At the time when we needed Royal Mail the most is when they show their true colours and let everybody down.
The track and trace system offered by Royal Mail is the worst system of Track and trace I’ve ever experienced. It may as well not be offered as it’s virtually impossible to accurately track any deliveries, no matter what service you pay for. Their system is intentionally designed to infuriate and frustrate people to the point where they give up attempting to “track” their missing parcel. This is deliberately malicious and appalling service from a once well respected, leading and appreciated service provider.
I’ve had 4, 24 hour “guaranteed” services not arrive when paid for and also 2 “lost” parcels. Never again will I be using Royal Mail for anything significant or important as they have proved they cannot be trusted.”
“Shocking service. Guaranteed next day delivery too 5 days to arrive. Royal Mail 24 signed for... 5 days & still waiting. They update the tracking saying they attempted delivery which is rubbish. They should not be allowed to operate like this!”
“Fully understand we are going through a difficult time but you are taking money from people for 24hr tracked deliveries but aren’t honouring this service. It’s all very well displaying the message about increase in business due to coronavirus perhaps an increase in staff to cope with demand rather than delivering when you can be bothered.”

“The worst service ive had! Not only did they lose 2 parcels of mine, staff did not know what was going on! Only 1 person her name was natalie if im correct, helped me out however the rest of the team there dont really care! Emma stanton a woman that works in the customer service department for royal mail totally ignored my email and responded with a dumb not relevant answer to my queries! I then called and as soon as I try to explain my queries to customer service people on the phone they hang up on me!! More than once!!! (after waiting 50 min per call as they always seem to be too busy!)”
“Absolute joke. We in IG9 we have received 3 deliveries in 7 weeks despite the Post office claim that they are delivering every other day. Had 1 delivery of 12 items since Christmas. Absolute Joke!”
“Royal Mail postal service have declined over the years. I can honestly say that the majority of our mail arrives late or even not at all. We have received Christmas cards after in January, I'm awaiting large cheques from clients which I know were sent in December, its now the 8th January. We received a traffic fine (luckily it was an error) a weeks past its expiry limit. Our postman has issued a personal apology on Facebook because the service is poorly managed. The service is now outdated and needs to be either revamped or disbanded for other reliable services to take over. Total disgrace.”
“On 4 January a parcel was posted via Royal Mail 24 hour track service.it contains birthday gifts for my grandchildren which I ordered so they would be here in plenty of time for their birthdays this weekend. The parcel has been sat in Chelmsford mail centre since 5 January and has not moved. Today is 7 January and it is 11.36pm. I don’t hold much hope of receiving this tomorrow either.
I also posted a gift to Austria on 10 December which didn’t arrive until today. Again the delay was in the Uk. Royal Mail is an absolute joke and has been for many years. Is it any wonder they are losing so much business. Can’t even call them to complain as the wait on the phones is a minimum of 40 minutes

“Once again I have received my neighbours mail, it is correctly addressed, we both live at no 1 of our roads. It would be so easy for me to redeliver this item but this time I draw the line. It is my neighbour's bank statement, all the post-woman had to do was READ the address, can it be so difficult. Royal Mail already provides a miserable service, barely 4 days each week but when the part service provided is of this abysmal standard, I beseech the government to offer an alternative to this monopoly.”
“Not fit for purpose-Only in it for profit!
As a small business, Royal Mail's terrible service ruins our customer experience. Some parcels take over a month to arrive if they make it at all. Over the past 18 Months their service has become progressively worse. They obviously don't invest in extra staffing as extra profit is more important to it's owners and shareholders.
We live in a World where online purchasing is increasing. The Royal Mail is only looking to increase it's profits and not it's quality of service.
Like many small businesses, this Year I will be taking my services to courier as the cost of lost parcels and lost customers is too high if I continue to use the Royal Mail.”
“Stop the inane apologies and get a grip of your business Royal Mail! 1 in 2 parcels I sent to Europe pre Christmas have not arrived/been lost and your record for delivery to America through last year was abysmal too 1 in 4 delivered after weeks/ruined/lost. And this is not a cheap delivery option.
As a business I need to have a safe, quick system of delivery to Europe and America- someone please step up and sort this out. It is costing my business a lot of time and money and loss of goodwill. I always refund as it is not the customers fault... but nor is it mine. I cant answer Q's below as the parcels disappear??!”
“I ordered a product from Royal Mail 2 weeks ago. They told me 3 days ago that they had delivered it that morning. I was sat in my front room all day (right next to the front door) and nobody came to the door. There wasn't any sign that anybody had been there. I checked the footage on my Ring doorbell and nobody had turned up all day. I tried to contact in every way I could but they do hire some useless employees. I still haven't heard a thing. This is an utter disgrace.”
