“Never again! My experience with Salomon was appalling. I ordered skis and ski boots in December, and I urge you not to trust Salomon's delivery promises. I paid for express delivery, yet Salomon completely failed to deliver on time—the delivery company was fast, mind you. Unfortunately, I had to go on my vacation without the skis and ended up incurring rental expenses. To make matters worse, when I called Salomon's call center, I was blatantly lied to; they claimed my order had left the warehouse, which was proven false just days later during another call.

“Ordered Salomon’s a wk ago on end of yr sale.. got a confirmation email confirming my purchase was complete but today received an email saying my order was canceled with no explanation. After calling I discovered they ran of of stock but they didn’t offer anything besides a “sorry” until I asked a couple times if there’s any discount code or anything they can do to help me Of which he said he thinks he could do a 10% discount.. I ordered a hydration vest for a Christmas gift. I received an email that the package was delivered but it was never placed at my door despite a picture of packages in front of my house. After about 10 email requesting photos and me explaining I did not get the item- they said they must investigate the claim but there has been no attempts to help resolve this or credit my account. My only thought was that UPS delivered several packages that day and perhaps the package was not placed in front of my door. The company seems to be accusing me of fraud. Do yourself a favor don’t buy anything from them online. If you like the product go to REI and buy it directly.
I will never ever buy anything from them again.”

Delivery due date arrived, still no tracking or order update.... then received and email to say they are busy and there is a delay, but still no promise date.
Called customer service and asked for an update, they are unable to say or confirm ship date or expected arrival date as they have no information available to them
Requested a refund of the £12 paid for express delivery as clearly they had not fulfilled that promise...... they refused and said this can only happen after the goods are delivered and then I have to call back again to request it..... I reminded her they are already late, delivery promise missed, no ETA provided so why should I have to wait and then have to call them back ..... she then just repeated the same info and said that is all they can do
I asked to cancel the order and informed her that I would buy them elsewhere, she said she cannot cancel the order as they dont have that option availabile to them.... what a load of complete trash!
Seriously - avoid at every single opportunity for this company really really dont care and do not respect the rights of a consumer at all..... Bandits!”

Unfortunately I was disappointed after receiving a replacement pair in which also the sole unglued and was unusable, same as the first pair. I asked for a full refund as it had been very clear with photos attached that the shoe did not stand the basic quality after one hike.
I am also disappointed that the 2 year quality warranty is just a gimmick as Salomon is not prepared to honour this as indicated by Ian.
They refuse to provide a full refund and offer 50% on any of their other products, which I am not prepared to take as they may be as bad as the shoes they sent

“15-25 years ago Salomon was a legend in every category, Ski, Rollers, Crossterrain, even sandals were of superb quality.
But today Salomon is a company with Chinese rules.
This March, I bought cross-terrain sneakers for my son, 2022 model. They claim the 2 year warranty for these.
A year has not passed when the insole has deteriorated, the cheap fabric fell apart as a web of threads.
I contacted Salomon, but they simply refused to fulfill the warranty if the receipt is absent.
Ridiculous, if there is no receipt, the production date should be used, but that is the nowadays Salomon.
Next - even if there is a receipt, they still refuse to replace the insoles, telling me that the shoe may be the cause(what!?) and I should send them both shoes for inspection through the store.
Obviously putting baseless obstacles.
And when I asked for an equivalent substitution which is normally provided by any company for the time of warranty processing, they simply refused.
Buying Salomon today? Never, or at least with 80% discount. They are quite expensive but do not cost these money with such service and quality.”

I placed an order with a item that needed to be changed or simply cancelled and reordered, and received no help from this companies customer support. I tried by both email and now 3 phone calls directly to their customer support to fix the problem, to no avail. Had to get my credit card and UPS, their shipping method, involved in this process. “Today I placed an order. I was trying to register as a customer to get free shipping, rather than paying $10. The online registration does not work. I tried a million times. So I open up a chat window with customer support. The agent "Alcides" did not understand my messages. After explaining the same thing like three times he got it and suggested that I used a different browser, which I did. Same problem.
So he asked me to go through the hassle of emailing him a screenshot of the error. I kindly explained to him that it was a generic error, no code, no nothing. Just a "Ooops, somthing went wrong, try again later".
He was not cooperative. He refused to reimburse for the shipping cost. He was not nice.

“Afternoon tea sandwiches for 5 people wasn't enough a very small amount. We were also charged for 6 people. Sadly a friend wasn't very well on the day and cancelled. We paid a £10 deposit each. Understand loosing the deposit( that's what the deposit is for) not paying for a meal that wasn't served. We sat in the conservatory, lack of Christmas decorations and, no background music. A tree would of been nice. Very noisy with children running around the tables and screaming with excitment. Not what I expected at all. Not relaxing or enjoyable. Very disappointed.”

I just wanted to inform you about my experience with Salomon team considering my purchase of Salomon Quest 4 hiking boots. The model that I got today has slightly different logo (like Salomon chat agent said to me :) which made me suspicious about product not being genuine. Since I paid for them a hefty price of 230 USD I expected to get the product that looks like the one on official website of Salomon. After I sent a Salomon agent the article number of the boots, he told me that I have a genuine product, but could not send me a SINGLE photo of the boots that I got from their warehouse to prove that he´s telling the truth and I on the other hand, could not find a single photo of the boots with logo that look like mine on the whole internet. I´m pretty sure that I paid full price for the fake Salomon boots and the whole Salomon team didn´t do even a single thing to prove me wrong. So sad, coming from a long time Salomon fan.
Be cautious about these boots.

“I bought my son the Rhythm Bindings for Christmas and he got to use them twice
On the third snowboarding trip he didn’t even get to go down the hill and the back of the binding snapped completely off
I filled out the warranty form with all the pictures and everything and now they are saying it’s not adequate enough and I need to send the broken binding in for inspection. It is clear as day that this is a manufactures defect no binding should break after two uses and this shouldn’t even be a question
It has been over a week and they just messaged me to say that I need to send in the broken binding which will leave my son unable to use his $300 snowboard pass I paid for. It has already been a week and by time it gets shipped there it will be another week then it will be at least a week for them to review it again because they are so slow. After that if they decide that it is a warranty problem they will send him the new bindings
So by time he gets his Bindings it will be mid February and snowboard season will be done beginning of March
This is absolutely uncalled for, there is no reason a binding should break that easy on a third use. My son has now already missed out on two weeks of snowboarding because of this
iMessage them two weeks ago and it took them almost 5 days to even reply to me
I highly recommend you stay away from this company and look elsewhere, though their products look good and they have decent prices their products are crap
Never again will I be dealing with these people I am hoping that they do honour the two-year warranty that comes with it or give me my money back so I can go to a better company”
“Ibought a pair of Salomon GoreTex Walking shoes in October and i was happy. The shoe's fitted me perfectly and was comfortable and waterproof
For me as retired and having incurable cancer the money i had to pay was much but i thought i would spend them to get really good shoes
For me it's important to have good walking shoes because i have to go out on long walks 5-6 times a day to keep me healthy
Until 2-3 weeks ago i had no problems with the shoe's but when it rained heavy the shoe's got slippery but i thought i imagined it
Not long ago we got snow and i went out with my dog and you know how snow gets slurry suddenly i feel the shoe's acted as ice-skates
So after a while when i noticed that it was not my imagination but actually something wrong with the shoe's i contacted Salomon customer service and explained to them that there is something wrong with the shoe's they started to become annoyed
I sent them pictures of the shoe's as they requested and then they wanted me to send them my shoes
Look I'm not stupid so i told them if they want me to send them my shoes they better send me new one first
After that i haven't heard back from them
So my conclusion is not to buy Salomon not for them having bad shoes because they don't but for there crappy customer service that can't help you when you need help
The shoe's are gone and i wish I never had bought them that's money down the drain
I got new shoes thanks to help and now i can enjoy my walks again

I ordered hiking boots early June and paid £16 for delivery within 2 days. The boots did not arrive even after 3 days, following which I went on holiday. I have not received the boots and customer service is terrible, initially saying I needed to wait until they received the boots (which they are clearly not chasing if the boots are still with UPS), and now they do not respond to emails. £120 out of pocket and no sign of any refund a month later..”
