This company is a total stealer,they keep sending you extremely high estimated bills and when you call them they pick the phone after nearly one hour...when u want to switch to another company,they call u threatening you can't leave until u pay an unexplained amount...this people should be taken to court...they are big thieves.They can cause stress to people by the way they rip you off with money

Representative who approached my to switch told me total lies about the fixed price & exit fees. Was told different things when I questioned that the information I was told was different to what applied on the account when joining. Was told twice by two different people on the team once I set up dd & enter meter reading it would be the fixed price as promised. Then once I tried to do this at a later date they then told me it would not be fixed & based on consumption & is much higher. Shambles of a team & extremely unprofessional. Wouldn’t trust them again! Have now had to switch back to my old supplier who was cheaper, caused havoc in a difficult time.

Scottish Power are and absolute joke Scottish Power are and absolute joke 17 phone calls to the Complaints department 17 different complaints handlers not one phoned back with explanations as to what was going on no finial bill sent in writing 2 attempts to escalate this via the online email as per the company procedures and nothing All this because the took 487 pounds as a finial bill without any notification on the 22 of January 2020 I had not stopped paying my 62 pound a month direct debit and less than 8 weeks before the had refunded my 147 pounds as they said I was over paying??????????????? What a bunch of incompetent morons My advice is do not use them and do not let and friends family use them Imagine this was done to someones elderly relatives it may of been to much for them to take

I moved into my flat on the 30th of september I havent had no bill sent to me wen should have had 2 I'm a single parent on benfits my bill will be higher im only paid monthly on a low income there must be a issue I've been ask for meter readings ever been told I will get cold back wen havent this is causing me to be stressed I want this resolved or I will change supplier straight away I want to know the price of my bill and have someone call me back

Please avoid this company - ive had a nightmare experience with them due to incorrect billing and i am not alone if you look at all the other reviews. the customer service dept are rude and become very demanding, even though they cant bill properly.

I'm BEGGING YOU ... AVOID, AVOID, AVOID the this Nastiest of companies, for your own mental wellbeing. They've thugs for call handlers, whom will shout and yell at you, to try and intimidate you. There is no place in today's society, for companies such as this. This is the most greedy inept company of all time. They've blocked me from leaving, a case for OFGEM. I hate this company beyond vengeance. Disgraceful, dishonest monsters.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER !!! I am reciving bills pretty much everyday fro different account numbers and CANNOT sort this out with them... STAY AWAY!!

The worst organisation I have ever had to deal with. Awful customer service (wouldnt even call it customer service)! I even logged official complaints and still not resolved my issues!! All I wanted to do was leave. They continued to block my change over to a decent supplier. Blocked for over a year now. Totally illegal! Law suit coming! AVOID AVOID

a bunch of inept, useless morons, customer services are totally useless, the rates are expensive, consider buying a diesel generator before switching to this company, make it impossible to switch. anti consumer. take heed go elsewhere 100% of the time or you will regret it

Scamming bastards, the worst nightmare since I migrated to the UK. I closed my prepaid account which was used for just two months only for them to bring a negative closing balance of minus £100. None of them could explain what the money was meant for. My question is, how could a fraudulent company operate in a so developed nation like this without being checked?

Think very carefully before assigning Scottish Power! Spent too many evenings stressed out trying to communicate with them. A total waste of time and effort...will I ever be able to get rid of them, probably not as, if you are lucky enough to get through to a rep, they Don't listen anyway, pass the call to another useless person who then just puts you on hold. Contacting on line doesn't work either. They are very good at letting you know when a bill needs paying though!

Don't get the maintenance plan with Domestic and general it's a complete waste of money. My boiler was out of action for weeks following a visit from there engineer, I ended up having to get my own plumber to fix the problem. Still waiting for the service certificate If you get a cold call from Scottish power asking you to sign up to a service plan,don't do it.

I'll keep this one brief. They are incapable, incompetent and unreliable to the the extreme. Please don't be tempted to use this company, take the advice of all the bad reviews. These are all accurate representations of the experience you will face. I left them 10 months ago now. I've had a complaint ongoing for years. They have just taken £500 from me for no reason. You can't talk about your complaint, they have to call you back. On numerous occasions including this one they have given me timed slots to call back and not phoned me. Later claiming they had tried despite me having full signal and sitting by the phone. They have promised me things such as: "we will keep you up to date", "we will not take money until you are happy with complaint resolution and they have discussed with me". At first I assumed each let down was a mistake, I have now reached the conclusion they are purposely misleading customers in the hope they "go away". I just want this complaint to be resolved fairly, but more than that now I believe people need to be aware of how bad this company is dealing with issues. Please take this advise- stay clear.

I wish I could give no stars. In my ecperience this is far and beyond the worst power company ever. I have had issues from the moment I took over the account. And I have spent 2 and a half months just trying to get my account closed as I am now with annother provider. Scottish Power do not seem to be able to get this sorted. We also had a huge issue and it took 5 months and had to jump through alot of hoops just trying to get £27 back from a mistake they had made Do yourself a favour and NEVER EVER sign up with Scottish Power
