Got a Question?

I was going to buy from the scs country range , having read reviews the the company I’m a bit worried
Asked by Bernadette Rainey (3 years ago)
Has anyone bought the Titan Endurance sofa? I have bought a 2 seater and 3 seater, there are 3 rather large pieces of material stuffed down the back at the left hand side, as if the sofa has not been finished off correctly, however i have rang SCS to be told they are meant to be there incase they ever need a sample?
Asked by Sharon Stoker (3 years ago)
How are you still getting away with selling sofas that are made from poor quality hard foam ? Nothing like the showroom models you use to get customers to order , we are suffering from back pain and misery and are not alone and you don’t care
Asked by Tracy (3 years ago)
How is this company still say its got Trust pilot reviews of 5 stars??

Why have SCS doubled the price of the San Jose range?
Asked by Adrienne Fearn (4 years ago)
SCS say on the and on the TV that SCS would pay for the fitting of there carpets. No they do not.just say you Bill comes too 600 pounds and after that SCS gives you 103punds back to give to the carpet fitters.in my eyes that's not SCS paying for the fitting. The Bill should come to500 pounds and you pay the fitters noting at all.that in my eyes is misleading.I was going to get a carpet but now iam going to get my deposit back to some where else.

We purchased a sofa and chair from SCS Wednesbury and got rid of our big 3 Seater Settee, we discussed the doorway acces and that we had a sliding door and normal access door we had no doubt that the sofa would go in, when the delivery men came, they could not get the settee through because of the height, this was after watiing 3 weeks for delivery I asked for a refund which was refused by the Manager at SCS which meant that we had a suite too big for the door and he was not moving on the issue saying it was in black and white on the form Have i got an option
Asked by Anne Downes (5 years ago)

Asked by Shirley Darling (5 years ago)
I have a question about aftercare at SCS. My 3 seater and 2 seater isn't hat I expected even though I have only had them for 6 weeks. Complained pretty soon after they were delivered. Waiting to hear back from the accounts department, Should have contacted me by now but they aren't the fastest. I am still waiting for their call after almost 48 hours
Asked by Ann Findlay (5 years ago)
do they sometime come after 7pm for delivery?? we are waiting for our delivery and its almost 7pm and no call from them yet
Asked by Zubair (5 years ago)
Has anybody ever had any satisfaction from SCS when they have complained? I have now been at it for 8 months but won't give up. How is this company allowed to trade like this. They take people's hard earned money and when there is a problem just ignore them. I'm now at solicitors stage.
Asked by Julie Howarth (5 years ago)
Yes but after several months I’ve given it up as a bad job! Worst settees I’ve ever purchased. They are so uncomfortable and I’ve had them less than a year. Certainly won’t buy anything else from them and would advise others not to

Any one had a foam upgrade....if so how much please?
Asked by Jacqueline Jobes (5 years ago)
Scs delivery driver damaged my hall way ( two holes in plaster) and also put a hole in cushion floor in kitchen. This was a result of sofa bed they delivered falling out twice. Spoke to warehouse manager he said " can only put right that was damaged in hall £100, still waiting for payment. As to flooring they will renew full floor....on 21st Dec. Bearing in mind incidents took place on 5th Nov. I'd rather have the cost of flooring as I can get it done sooner. Where do I stand ?
Asked by Gary (6 years ago)
Send them a final notice by recorded delivery setting out all of the damaged caused then if this fails take them to small claims court. They are totally liable for any damaged caused even if they try to hide behind trading terms and conditions

Asked by Johnscott (6 years ago)
I am very disappointed by this company. On 13th Oct. 2018, I placed the order for carpets with SCS in Aberdeen. At that time, they said that the carpets will be delivered and fitted by 30th Oct. On 29th Oct. I prepared the rooms for the carpets to be fitted, this means taking all the furniture out, taking out the fire doors which are really heavy and not easy to take out and then move all around the house. On 30th Oct., at 08:00 in the morning I got a phone call from the Joyner saying that he will come to put the underlay in the morning and then in the afternoon he will come to fit the carpets, as the carpets still haven’t arrive and looks like the carpets were schedule to arrive in that morning actually in the day when to be fitted. By lunch time around 12:00 I got a phone call from SCS in Aberdeen, saying that my carpets haven’t arrived, the suppliers haven’t delivered the carpets and the carpets are going to be deliver on Friday (2nd Nov 2018). Because the carpets weren’t delivered in the day when was scheduled, my house was in a completely mess a very hazardous and unsafe environment to live in. I went back to the shop to ask them to cancel the order as the order wasn’t delivered as was expected. They said that, no I can’t cancel the order and the carpets will be delivered by Friday ( 2nd Nov. 2018). So, as everybody can understand they expected me to live for at least 3 days in a hazardous environment with the house in completely mess and putting my safety at risk. I am afraid there is an issue with this company in the way they operate and how they deal with their suppliers. I am not going to trust them or their suppliers anymore. I am pretty sure this is not the first time when the product is not delivered in time, but to compromise safety of your customers this is unacceptable. This will have to stop. I don’t want anyone to go through such a stressful time or to have their safety put at risk.

Asked by mary Battersby (6 years ago)
Last night, but they managed to hang on to my money for 5 months. Luckily paid with Barclaycard and they confirmed to Barclaycard that I would have delivery by end of August and failed again
Answered by Sharon Walsh (6 years ago)
Last year I ordered a 3 pace suite on reflection ( 9days ) I decided to cancel my order the company retained 25% and after checking the legalities of this I had no option to lose £240. I then submitted a report to trustpilot who passed on a message to me yesterday to contact the CEO of the company by someone called Jordan now this is 12 months later sow what is going on ?

No they are rubish only had our sofa 12 months. The leather is peeling of from the arms and back rubbish quality. Still trying to get scs to contact me back. Keep away from this company

No, ours has started peeling from the back. The padding in the arms has almost but flattened. Overall, absolute tack - wouldn't buy anything else from these muppets.

Have recently ordered a new 3 piece. Was told that the old 3 piece wouldn't be taken away. Will the delivery men take this out and put it outside for us? We are both pensioners and are not able to do this.
Asked by Elaine Turner (6 years ago)
how do I make an official complaint?
Asked by helen (6 years ago)
You first need to write to them. Keep a copy. Depending on the problem and what you bought, tell them the product is not fit for purpose and not of merchantable quality. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods they supply should be of a satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Don't rant or accuse. Stick to the facts. Citizens Advice or Trading Standards will help. The bottom line is you can take them to the Small Claims Court but they believe only a small number of people will do that and instead they will give up.
Answered by Alan Taylor (6 years ago)
We have complained about the comfort and seat depth of our new suite - we have had two of your upholstery visit - the last one agreed with us at our house but then submitted a report saying there was nothing wrong - at what point will your company give us good customer service and take this horrible furniture back - or do we have to go to court?
Asked by Jackie (6 years ago)

I know it’s late now but the companies ethitcs and workmanship is sub standard..... I waited months in between two replacements and would never buy from them again
Answered by Kym (6 years ago)
with 82% of customers ,rating this company at one star, I would have thought trading standards would have taken some action. They are probably another toothless tiger outfit. SCS are a disgraceful company.
