“They indicate that they are at Athens airport but they will not deliver a car at airport. They will confirm your time but then if it's prior opening hours your flight they will ask for additional 40 euro to take you to the airport. They will hold 900 euro on top of insurance on your credit card and if you have only debit card they will not rent the car to you even if you paid for it and you will loose your money. BETTER WALK THAN RENT FROM THEM”
“We rented a car with RentalCar but unfortunately we were diverted to SurPrice. I have never rented a car in a worse place than this one. The service is very bad, they charged me €350 for insurance just because my license was not international, the place to pick up the car is terrible and improvised, in the hall of an old building full of printed papers indicating the service desk. This pseudo company is blatantly committing fraud, I don't understand how it is still operating and if I could I would give it 0 stars and report it to the police. Please never rent with them!”
“Worst company ever. Had to wait 25 mins to be picked up at Vienna airport to be taken to the dingy office. The car they wanted to give us had a crack in across the entire wind screen, from one side to the other. The guy renting the car said, the car is fine there is just a small thing on the right side. When I complained, they did not have another car when I refused to drive a car that is so dangerous. In the end, we had to rent another car which was super expensive as it was last minute. Do not rent from them. NEVER EVER! Ist is not only a scam, it is also dangerous.”

This Surprice rental car company is really bad. They force you to get insurance, and you have to call them to pick up to the airport shuttle, and you have to wait more than an hour for the shuttle to come, and if you pay 12-25 pounds to go back to the airport, they will take you there immediately, other wise they just say you have to wait more than 40 minutes, and they make people who are pressed for time to fly panic and pay for their shuttle service to make more money. It's really bad. If you do Budget, you won't have to go through all this pain and can easily rent a car and take the shuttle back and forth. (Tsk)(Horror)(Devil)
I saw a person arguing with the staff at the counter. The staff threatened a lot to get insurance. When the customer refused, they suddenly said that the reservation was canceled. When the customer insisted, they finally started the paperwork.
I needed to go to Terminal 3, but they dropped me off at Terminal 4, which is very close to the rental company, and told me to take the subway. When I arrived, I had to pay with a credit card to get on the subway. Also, the distance from the subway station to the check-in counter is very long, so if you are pressed for time, you will be worried. Pay 20 Pounds more and use Burget or Avis Rentals. That will be much, much better. They are a really bad company. I will never use them again. You will be disappointed if you book because they look cheaper price. It is not cheaper or convenient. Never choose this rental company ever.”
“Intimidating, threatening and fraudulent.
We were two single women arriving late at night to Heraklion with a pre booked hire car through EasyJet and were told we had to pay additional insurance (despite evidence of insurance with EasyJet and privately through credit card). They would not let us take the car without paying €900 which was then changed to €175 when it became apparent we were unable to afford the first amount. They offered to take us back to the airport as we couldn't take the car without additional payment.
This "bond" is then meant to be refunded within 21days and this payment is still outstanding despite contact with the central team and 3 months after the event.
We felt so threatened and intimidated by the staff member and as woman travellers felt incredibly vulnerable.
I would never recommend this company and they should feel ashamed at their customer service.”

“As a condition of car rental, I was forced to pay €160 in car insurance (despite already having car insurance privately!) This is because the alternative is to put a hold on my credit card and they explained because there is an Initial on my credit card and not my full name printed, they would not accept that as a form of indemnity hold. But ironically, they would be willing to take payment from the same card if I used it to pay for the insurance. In my opinion, this is just to force the customer to pay for insurance they do not need.

“Never rent a car with this terrible "company"!!! Unfortunately, we rented a car with CarJet and were transferred to this amateur SurPrice, but we only found out about it after we had paid online. They don't have an office, it's an empty improvised space in the hall of an old building with homemade printouts stuck to the wall indicating the counter. The employees are extremely rude and ill-mannered, especially the woman who served us. They are thieves disguised as RentalCar, and if you don't believe me and decide to rent a car with them, READ EVERY WORD OF THE CONTRACT A THOUSAND TIMES, because they are professionals and will certainly deceive you with some absurd clause that you overlooked, such as the requirement to have an international driving license, the one from your country is not valid, and that's when they force you to pay for the basic insurance of €350!!! And if you want to cancel, they will NOT refund what you have already paid. I hope these thieves go bankrupt because this is theft!!!”
“The worst experience possible. We had to wait for the shuttle bus for over 30 minutes to pick up the car. On our way back to the airport, we had to take a taxi in order to come in time. They had only one shuttle bus! The employers were impolite and tried to convince us that we had scratched the car. On the dashboard of the car, I got five different messages of things that were wrong with the car. Stay away!”

“I rented a car 07/30/2024. I pícked it up in Heraklion port, but i has to look for it 100 mts by Foot from de entrance.
This Car had electrónic problems (they hadn’t checked it previously) sothey had to provide me another Car.
This second Car had several problems (they hadn’t checked the previously):
. The wiper blade was broken
. Radio antenna: broken
. Clutch pedal worked badly when I tried to used the second gear
. The Alarm red light of the airbag turned on.
It was a terrible experience.

“The shuttle from FLL airport was extremely difficult to find and over 1 hour waiting in the hot heat. Once picked up from the airport a ten minute drive to an industrial area to get the car. 1 more hour of waiting and paperwork. Be prepared to bring your insurance declaration. Not a card…. A declaration, yes 23 pages to rent the car! I had to download my insurance app and find the declaration. This was the most difficult car rental I have ever had. 2 hours of wasted time to rent a car that smelled.
Never rent from them not matter how reasonable.”

Because of them and the waste of money, we couldn’t pay 3 activities for our kids !! We were having limited budget for holidays and we couldn’t enjoy because of you !!! If the people working were having value for themself they couldn’t work for a company requesting for more money !! We booked an Audi , but they don’t have single , only old rubbish car !!!
