Sameer was a great driver and host. He took the time to locate us at the pickup area. After 10 minutes he retrived our phone number to find out where we were located. That was much appreciated.

Don’t go even close to Surprise Car rental in Sofia’s Airport. The are so rude! We had a reservation, made two months ago. When arriving, they didn’t have the car we ordered. They wanted to give us an old car, when we said we don’t want it, they said that we are troubled customers, and they canceled our reservation. We had to go back to the airport to make another reservation with another company.

It’s a scam company, it make me sick and vomit to think people like this can be free ! You all must be in jail !!! I would be shame to work for this type of company ! You work without value and respect for yourself. All this staff proudly requesting to the poor tourists to pay extra money for any reason !!! Go to book your car to Hertz Pisa and look even the comments are complaining about “surprice” !!! We end up paying 500 euros more at the check in because they suddenly say “insurance” is mandatory. Because of them and the waste of money, we couldn’t pay 3 activities for our kids !! We were having limited budget for holidays and we couldn’t enjoy because of you !!! If the people working were having value for themself they couldn’t work for a company requesting for more money !! We booked an Audi , but they don’t have single , only old rubbish car !!! What you are doing is disgusting. You are a disgusting company !!! Shame on you !!! Having a company with 1.2 you deserve a punishement for the bad your are doing to people !!!! I don’t know how the staff can look at themself ! You choose your job , go to work with dignity .. have self respect and have a bit of pity for people … shame .. every client hate this company !! Italy gouvernent need to do something against you !! But it’s ok ; I trust karma

Almost metre crack on front windscreen of car when picked up,full of dents...also charged 50 euros for late collection through no fault of our own as plane was delayed due to international Microsoft issue... location also approx 2km away from Belgrade airport ...poor car condition

They are thief’s. They always try to make you pay more money because your are late , because you don’t have a credit car with bold numbers( 21st century!!!) they are impolite and everybody in his desk office is crying!! Why don’t they ask each other the reason? Incredible! That’s happen to me in sardignia but in my opinion they must be in every office like this!!😡

SCAMSTERS- Please be aware. Do not rent without full insurance. They are there to scam you. They will give cheap price for rental, then will try and scam you on damages. PLEASE CHECK THE CAR PICK UP SHEET. They will deliberately skip marking damages and later will charge you for it. They will take a magnifying glass to find any fault which can be normal wear and tear and will charge you exorbitant amount of money 500 EUROS 1000 Euros like that. Get full cover then only take the car.

Hours on the phone and daily emails about them releasing a hold of funds that I was told would be released immediately. Employees telling customers different things. My trip was 2 weeks ago and still dealing with the same issues.

Worst experience ever! Do not rent from them!!! Italy- Bergamo office partner Auto One Our flight was delayed and we tried to announce that we will be late in picking up the car. We called and te person there said that they will close until we get there but we can get it in the morning with no problems, as it was no ones fault. We went there at 8.30 am and it was another person working there, who said that we lost the reservation and that we need to pay 4 times the amount we paid to get it late. The person there was screaming at us, pretending they don't speak English and had zero customer regard for handling the situation. We left with no car. We e-mailed the company and its been two weeks now and still no answer or refund!

The worst car rental company I have ever booked with. They charged me an additional fee of $200 because I didn’t have a credit card, were rude about asking questions back, gave me the car without fuel on an almost empty tank, and the car doesn’t have a properly functional AC. The employees were also very unprofessional as they were vaping on the job. Overall, terrible experience and would not recommend anyone using their company.

At delivery they left me in the sun to check the car myself in 43 degrees celsius and disappeared in a hurry, made me feel very uneasy and uncomfortable because of attitude and remarks. When I did not want to pay the extra amount for the "insurance" to them as they asked, because I already payed insurance online, they told me "well.. if you want to get the car for free" .. and ..."I see you know everything" (quite sarcastically...) when I said I am aware of the potential charges. The car was a bit dirty with plenty of spots and because they were threatening me with getting a large sum deducted for scratches, I checked every inch for those, but got distracted in the blazing heat and missed a spot, and didn't check the windshield properly. At return, amongst the dozen spots the windshield already had,, they found the tiniest dot that was definitely there on the day of delivery. I say that and strongly believe it because if you check their reviews, (which I made another mistake and didn't,) you will see many other customer ,played with the same trick that posted pictures of the same dots. He charged me separately 500 euros for that (2500 RON) Honestly, I never had anyone checking the car like that and I have been renting cars for over 10 years from all over the world as I travel a lot for work. He was looking for any possible dot .. I cannot explain how awkward and obvious it was that he was trying to scam me. Bottom line, Romania is not the place to rent cars for the prices you post in summer ,without making some sort of deal with the rental car company and giving them a lot more extra. Everyone is cheating or scamming someone.. hence the reputation they have . Stereotypes are there for a reason. It's the only season where they can "earn" so you can see the hunger games happening under your eyes. I will eventually get the money back from the insurance I hope, but it's a big headache. Unless you're able to look at every inch of the car with a magnifying glass , as a customer, I am sure there will trap others with this same car issue ( the plate no B 118 TEG). I will ask the insurance to monitor this car plate and see how many other customers will have the same faith as me and supposedly damaged the same windshield in the same RHS lower part. The dot is very conveniently placed and can't be easily spotted and there are other spots around it. Please check their online reviews! There are so many like me, I assure you we are not all crazy, and the company is really bad, the agents proper thieves and thugs.

DO NOT USE! Rip off merchants. May look cheapest when booking but try every trick to charge you extra at the end. We found additional damage not recorded when we picked it up (fallen for that one before) so they then charged us 85 euros after we got home because there was a very small salt “stain” on the driver seat, something that would have wiped off in 5 seconds. Still fighting for a refund.

Shockingly hard sales of insurance alongside the car rental. We had an incredibly greedy and aggressive female vampire trying to bleed more money from us for car insurance, despite us already having brought our own. She wasn’t having it- was determined to sell us more at the eye watering and laughable price of 90 euros per day. 40 mins later and she was still in full tirade and getting ruder by the minute! She then tried to put the fear of God into us- watch out for car thieves in Padua, vandals in Venice. We escaped without giving them a penny more, although the tank given to us full. We gave the car back without a scratch ends full tank- and they still demanded a 25 euro cleaning fee. They went around the car with a microscope- the car needed a 30 second vacuum, that was it! Avoid Venice Sur Price like the plague- the worst in car rentals we’ve ever experienced in 30 years!

The SurPrice rental company refused to give me a car because I did not have physical copy of the International Driving Permit (further referred as IDP) However I did have IDP in PDF format issued by International Transportation Authority of Italy, All rental companies in Italy accept it before accept SurPrice rental, There is no clear rules written in Expedia nor on SurPrice website stating that IDP is only accepted in Physical form and no Online PDF form, hence I had no way of knowing this requirement. The Manager just made up that requirement! When I asked to show me this rule written in a company policy handbook, the manager of the rental shop could not find it either yet they refused to issue the car to me. I also would like to note that the employee who proceeded my paper work offered me to buy their insurance at $100/day, so they can close their eyes on the fact that I do not have physical IDP with me. This was outrages offer which I rejected SurPrice rental car is a bogus company that makes money on selling their overpriced insurance to customers by finding little hiccups in their reservation that otherwise will prevent the renting of the car. Being desperate in needing a car, unfortunately, many visitors fall for this trick. Just read their Google review and it will make all sense. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM they are complete SCAM! go with trusted brands even if it cost a bit more. Save yourself a trouble!

DONT USE THIS COMPANY If there was a zero l would have given that. Worse car hire company l have used in 42 years of hiring cars. Hired them through Booking.com who should know better. They are not on the Heathrow perimeter road, but 10km from T5 20mins away. Multiple serious issues with this company 1) l missed my return flight as it took them 1.5hrs to process my clean car return. Will cost me a fortune in rebooking flights, lost flight, taxis etc. 2) Minibus is infrequent 45-60 min wait. 3) Like many other reviews and other customers there today, l found out later that they scammed me for an additional £400 for using a debit card (although l had a credit card on my phone) saying it was insurance, although l already had private car hire insurance. Other customers today were saying they had same problem, and if they did not provide what Surprice wanted. They would not release the car and you would loose what they had already paid. 4) The mini bus collection was free but they charged £10 to drop you back at the terminal, not mentioned. 5) On arrival at T5 to collect the car they said they did not have minibus available, and they told me to take a public bus to T4 and get a Minibus from there. It all from first calling them it took me 2.75hrs to get a car. 6) Don’t believe what type of cars they advertise, they will give you a basic Kia, not full with petrol. This company should not be allowed to trade, their practices if not illegal are misleading and very dubious, please don’t be scammed, use a quality car hire company. So many unhappy people at the car pick up and return, please make sure you are not one of them. Check out TrustPilot for more accurate 1 star reviews 87%
