So after waiting since march for my refund I was told after 31 July, after that was told within one month. So far iv heard nothing or even received a penny from them. They will make excuses and lie. They are trying to take every penny possible from customers. Because their a Indian based company the UK media and gov won't say a word in fear of upsetting the Indian government. Tt772379. All you'll get is a automated lie

If I could put zero stars I would. We have had an awful experience with Teletext holidays. I would never use them ever again. We booked a holiday 08/02/2020, quote from the website. Called Rakesh who stated the £200 deposit would only secure the accommodation. Which is wrong anyway as on the website it states £49pp deposit to secure holiday. I asked Rakesh if we called back at a later date to books flights will they be similar/same price he stated yes £10-£20 more/less. When we called back on 25/02/2020 (after payday) the flights were £150 extra per person which was way out of our budget, we are a family of 4. We then decided to cancel and were advised we weren't entitled to a refund of deposit, we argued this but it was refused. We even cancelled via the online cancellation form on the website. On Friday 14th of August I received an email to say £1000 will be taken from my account to pay the rest of accommodation. I called teletext after waiting 50 minutes to be told to ignore email it is automated and holiday has been cancelled and I will receive email confirmation of this. Friday 21st August £1000 has been taken out of my account. This is absolutely disgusting, NO customer service support at all, they stole money out of my account. I have now been on the phone to Teletext for around 3 hours today and no luck. DONT trust anything anyone says to you at teletext I personally think they should be closed due to being fraudsters!

Have waited the required 3 months before i can get a refund on credit note on cancelled April holiday. Emailed for the refund three times with no reply, have rung numerous times and been on hold for at least 30 minutes each time. Cannot find online chat. Understand it is a busy time but to be issued a credit note, receive calls to use it on another holiday then silence when we are in need of the refund is NOT ACCEPTABLE

Awful scammers and now they are paying neutral people to put good reviews on trust pilot between them both they die eve customers and lie.

Absolute joke of a company! No refund since Mays holiday was cancelled Doesn't stop them calling me to book for next year though.... no chance!

Company is disgusting, they cancelled my holiday in April due to covid understandble. I then had to wait till June for only half my refund for accommodation, was told I would get the other half for flights by 31st July, heard nothing so called and was told to expect the refund first week of August. Today is the 21st and still nothing. To make matters worst each time I called I have been on hold hold for a hour. Press the option for sales someone answers straight away and transfers you to the refund team that have you on hold for a ridiculous amount of time. I am on hold now its been 53 minutes and counting. Will never book with them again. Customer service and after care is a shambles.

TT797729 Called numerous times, thrice they hung up the phone, booked holidays to Croatia flying on 22/08/2020 but due to FCO restrictions only essential travel allowed and quarantine restrictions coming back to uk, told them can’t travel due to these issues and want my money back, instead of helping me back they are advising me to take a credit note and book your holidays for next year how can I trust upon them, sending a wrong information. I want my total refund in the form of cash not in the form of credit note. Very pathetic service, full of unprofessional never ever booked your holidays with them

Awful just awful will be reporting to media Attol and Abta should never have the licence to trade .Rude staff no customer service no knowledge should not be trading managing director should be ashamed

This company is unprofessional hard to contact rude when you manage to get through to them even hang up on you never call back when they say they will my hotel is closed booked through teletext their reply you loose your holiday no refund totally rubbish no concern for customer no refund apparently

Ref TT762933 We were due to fly to Spain 15 April for a week. Had to wait for protected refund credit note 3 months later and phoned 2 weeks ago to request Cash refund and informed someone would call me back. Do I need to contact ATOL now? Credit note says “Any unused value of the refund credit note not used by 31 July 2020 can be transferred into a cash refund” when?

Would leave 0 stars if I could. Awful customer service! Still waiting for a refund from my cancelled trip in May. Was told we could apply 31st July - which we did and no acknowledgement. Spent hours trying to get through to them on the phone - we eventually did and was told we would have the refund in 15-18 days and still nothing. I left a bad review before and someone replied saying they would get in contact but NOTHING. So don’t believe there replies!! Never ever book with teletext.

We had our holiday to Tenerife on the 31st March cancelled due to Covid. We had to wait until 31st July to apply for a cash refund which we did. Teletext does not have the decency to acknowledge this. A refund should be given with 14 day. My husband waited for 45 minutes for your phone to be answered to no avail so he gave up. We will certainly never book with teletext holidays again. This needs to be sorted ASAP you have had our money long enough!!

Booking Ref TT769866. Ryanair refunded full ammount of cancelled flight to teletext holidays over two weeks ago, e mailed teletext holidays only to be told i can claim a travel voucher or obtain a refund at end of september, we want our money now its our money not teletext holidays. Disgusting service.

I’m waiting for a call back regarding my holiday hotel has been cancelled I fly out in a week no one from customer services has called very poor service I’ll be taking my problems up with ATOL over this situation. DISGRACEFUL

Emailed on 3/7/20 to tell them to cancel the holiday, l was prepared to lose the money l had already paid. Nothing heard back from them until 17/8/20 saying they are automatically going to take the outstanding balance. Which the bank told me may in breach of data protection has you had not set up direct debt just kept my details on file.) Spent 39 mins on the phone then got cut f this morning. Rang back on over 1 hour to be cut of again. Emailed them again still no reply. On the phone again but still no reply.

Would of scored them much lower if able! PLEASE DO NOT USE Absolute shambles of a company! Poor customer service! Unlawfully keeping money that does not belong to them!! Please do not use! I understand that this is unprecedented times and is all new to everybody but Twletext are not the only company/people to be affected by this and to continue to hold peoples money and not reimbursing within the correct time frame and this is despicable!! Now people are having to wait even longer to get their own money by having to go down chargeback or small claims court routes. We should not have to fight to get our money back!!!! TT752071

Still awaiting a refund from May4th. No communication tried to rebook and it’s all been a shambles, now getting emails saying I need to pay for next holiday even though you have a credit note for that holiday and promised me a refund of outstanding monies you owe me

Well where do I start. 2 days ago I booked my holiday with teletext, agents name is Russell I am still waiting for amendments team to call me back, even though I have rang several times but every time I give them my reference number they hung up.
