I booked a holiday with Teletext on 10.3.20 going to Vegas on 23.4.20. I have sent numerous emails to you, tried to contact you via phone and your livechat which is conveniently not in use right now. I am at my wit's end with your company and I suffer with severe anxiety and yet still no communication. I am beyond disgusted.

My holiday was booked and paid in full. Tried and tried to deal with these dreadful people. Then i found this. "As Teletext Holidays acts as an agent for your booking, passengers details are not passed to the hotel until approximately 28 days prior to your arrival by the supplier hence why the hotel are unable to confirm your reservation to you." So more lies from your side telling me you were awaiting confirmation from hotel regarding my holiday in May. I contacted Ryan Air myself and they confirmed my flight is cancelled so why have you still not refunded my holiday in full??? On Thursday morning i am going to the NATIONAL PRESS to advise everyone never to deal with your company. You have constantly lied to me and miss informed me regarding this matter. I have no income as a result of this virus. I need my money to live on. Over £4000. Paid to you in full. Do not think for one minute that i will go away. I will not. I will fight you through the courts if i have to. I did not cancel this holiday. It was cancelled by the providers. My contract is with Teletext holidays. My payments went to Teletext holidays. The information above shows that you have propbably not passed funds to the hotel yet. Ryanair tell me that payment was made to them from your account. Therefore you owe me the money. I now demand a full refund. Flights transfers and hotel.

My holiday is cancelled due to corona virus. I paid over £4000. Have been told no refunds as holidays not cancelled? Flights cancelled. Hotel is closed? I want my money back. Difficult rude behaviour from advisors. I have made endless calls send numerous mails still no redund. I lost my job due to virus have family in quarantine. Apparently im still going on holiday and if i cancel thats my fault. Spoke to Ryan Air who confirm flight is cancelled. Teletext i will make sure none of my friends or family ever use your service again.

NEVER AGAIN I would put zero stars if I could. I booked a surprise trip for my husbands 50th (not a cheap one) to Turkey on 6th May. After several emails and online messages and Facebook messages I have heard nothing. I just want a refund. I don’t ever want to use you again including moving my holiday date. Yes you are busy, yes everyone is experiencing problems. We can’t afford to lose that kind of money. My husband has asthma and I have medical issues that warrant us both home for 22 weeks so won’t be travelling for a very long time. You teletext should be ashamed of yourselves. Friends and family of mine have all had a full refund from their holiday bookers. I suppose I will get a reply to this asking for my reference number, as if that will do anything!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Never in my life will i ever use teletext holidays again Booking the holiday - the service was shocking and the person we spoke to on the phone was very abrupt and demanding. They told us our outstanding balance was due 27th march, they tried to take the payment 2 days early covid 19 - i had an email from Ryanair 20th march to advise that our flights were cancelled Yet you try and take money from us for a holiday that could not take place. Received an email 26th march from teletext to say holiday cancelled. Same day get another email to say payment had failed and call to make payment - the same payment that was taken early!!! After an online chat - which was appauling. Having to repeat myself and provide the same information more than once. We were told that although our holiday was canceled you were going to charge us a cancelation fee .... Are you kidding me!! Could not answer any questions. Think i was talking to a robot! The government puts travel bans in place, we have an email from Ryan air plus an email from teletext to tell us the holiday is canceled yet they want to charge us a cancelation fee And take money for somwthing thats cancelled. we did not cancel the holiday so why charge us a fee? Why try to take the money? still getting no answers i got fobbed off to say to help me someone would need to call me. yet i was reassured that as the holiday was cancelled NO money would be taken from my account - i saved this conversation. I told them i wanted a call back in 24 hours or expect a massive complaint - still to this day now no attempt to contact us has been made Fast forward to now. checking my online banking 2nd april they take £15.70 from my account. no permission, no warning. Teletext, you have dealt with this in the most appauling way. you took money from my account without permission after telling me that no money would be taken from my account. i have the whole conversation we had online screen shot!!!!! We want the £15.70 putting back into the account you took it from and the refund £120 that you already have from us for a holiday that cannot take place and was not canceled by us but by yourselves based on government guidelines. You simply will not get any business from me and any of my friends ever!!!

Very disappointed in the response to refund information. They PREVARICATE and advise a future date repeatedly. I have had sarcastic comments when seeking answers to very simple timing questions. Please be advised do not use this organisation

I have been trying to ring all day no reply I have found out jet2 are not travelling on 16th june this year and when I booked it it is jet2 holiday u booked for me please reply my ref is TT762785

If I could give a minus rating I would. I cancelled my holiday nearly a month ago and have been promised on 4 occasions I would receive a call back to discuss my refund, this has not happened. I then lodged a formal complaint asking for receipt confirmation of my email within the 48 hours mentioned on their complaints procedure, this did not happen - I chased response after 72 hours and copied in the managing director who responded to sau that I would receive a response within 28days of when my holiday was supposed to go ahead (26th May) this is not acceptable to wait 3 months for a refund for a holiday I won’t be going on. I will be reporting this company to the retail and travel ombudsman and I suggest that no one uses this company to book a holiday.

I booked a holiday package via Teletext last year and I am due to depart on 17/04/2020 for Benidorm. After repeatedly trying to contact Teletext (by phone, website and PM on Facebook) and requesting a call to confirm what on earth is going on, in light of COVID-19, I have still heard nothing. My booking reference is TT 736431. I have now received confirmation that my flights have been cancelled by the airline (Norwegian) and still no communication from Teletext. Truly disappointing service from what used to be a reliable and wonderful company. I WILL NEVER USE AGAIN!!!!!!

I have been trying to get in touch for 3 weeks! You aren’t answering your live chat says 1 minute in the queue constantly, no phone lines working! This is dreadful, you have people’s money and in times like this people need it!

I booked a holiday which originally we was due to fly out 20/3/2020 from Manchester to Benidorm, flying with Ryanair and we had return flights with them. When booking this holiday the agent booked the wrong hotel. We was originally booking to stay at Don Jorge hotel in Benidorm. we paid the deposit then the agent put the call on hold. When the agent came back to the call he said that hotel is now not available and we can not stay there and we now needed to choose another hotel. This was AFTER WE HAD TO PAY THE DEPOSIT. He then went on and quoted us two hotels Which were the Playamar and Pierre & vacances Benidorm poniente. We DECLINED Pierre & vacances due to location as it was miles out from where we needed to be and we ACCEPTED Playamar as it was in the centre of Benidorm where we needed to be . We was told that the Playamar was booked and we would get our booking confirmation in 2 days. We did not get the booking confirmation until 2 weeks later and when we did get the confirmation it was still under the Pierre & vacances. We then called in and complained again as we stated so many times Playamar and the reasons we wanted that hotel. On the call which I made to complain I was laughed at by advisors and I was spoken to so rudely! I then when I asked for a manger due to the way the advisors the manager came on the phone and I was spoken to rudely again! The manager said we would get a call the next day but I didn't believe this due to how unprofessional they was being. After the phone call I decided to message the Facebook page complain once AGAIN. A manager called me the next day about the social media complaint I had made. The advisor on the call said they can change the holiday over to the correct hotel however we had to PAY. So we had to pay to change to the correct hotel because the advisor had booked the wrong hotel! I don't understand how that is even reasonable and it's completely out of order. Regardless to the charge we had to pay to change it as the other hotel was too far out from where we needed to be. On the that same phone call about the complaint the manager told us that we will receive a CD in the mail with the original call where we made the booking on the CD. Which we had requested as we knew we had requested the Playamar. We never received this CD either which we was promised on this complaint call. A week later we was advised to change the holiday as it may be cancelled due to Covid-19 and Spain had recently announced they was in a state of lockdown. We called up on 14/3/2020 to change our booking. On the call we decided to change the holiday to the 24/4/2020 we was due to fly out with Ryanair and we changed the hotel over to the Medplaya Hotel Flamingo Oasis hotel with bed and breakfast included. We paid £70 per person to change this. We was told we would get the confirmation of change over in 2 days. It's now been 3 WEEKS and we still have not had the confirmation of the change. We booked this as a package deal with teletext. We have now received an email from Ryanair to say the flights we had booked for 24/4/20 and 27/4/20 have now been cancelled due to Covid-19. But we still haven't heard anything from teletext! I would like some information as to what's going on with our holiday. I would like either a refund or compensation due to how we have been treated whilst throughout the arrangement of the holiday. It has been outrageous. I have complained so many times is is unbelievable. Can some one please reply to me AS SOON AS POSSIBLE with the relevant information. This is on going. Hi, our group was suppose to fly on 09/04/2020 which is just Wednesday and so far i havent had any contact from TeleText. My TT reference is TT773758....i have been trying to contact them via their App or via calling them but no luck. when you call them they clearly saying they not taking any calls and use online chat service. when you go online chat service....its doesnt work.....so not sure how to contact them......they are one of the respected travel companies but...now dont really know what to do say to them....I am also getting request to check into to the Airport on a flight that’s cancelled & a resort that’s closed ..COULD I PLEASE REQUEST TELETEXT TO PLEASE GIVE ME A CALL TODAY AND SORT OUT MY HOLIDAY......MY TRAVEL DATE AS PER THE BOOKING IS Wednesday ....NOT SURE WHEN YOU GONA CONTACT ME......I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO CONTACT YOU....

Ref. TT788466 I was meant to fly out on the 29th March, nothing from teletext. It wouldn't surprise me if they're planning on filing for bankruptcy, don't book holidays with this company.

I’m disappointed in the treatment I’m getting from teletext Holidays after numerous calls I haven’t got a straight answer. I was supposed to fly out on the 24th of March which understandably got cancelled, but teletext holidays have not updated me on anything and there’s no sign of my money which I paid all upfront. My ref is TT785604 I hope I Get a call soon. As I have called and emailed many times. And I work in a hospital as a nurse so I hope you understand that I don’t have time to have to keep calling you and that you have the decency to refund me without wasting anymore of my time. Thankyou

Don't be fooled by the advertised price or the UK phone number.When I told the agent I could get the same holiday cheaper elsewhere he suddenly found a better price.We agreed a deposit to be followed by a later full balance payment by credit card.When I went to pay balance by credit card two days later I found he had taken the deposit and then the full balance from my debit card also,which could have put me in the red with my bank.I demanded a refund which I eventually received.Whilst on holiday in Tenerife due to virus outbreak return flight was changed, I contacted helpline only to be told to sort myself with airline even though it was booked through Teletext.When I tried to contact transfer company booked through Teletext to confirm they knew new flight number, no response,I sent email to Teletext Helpline to ask them to contact them, again no response until after we got home advising me to contact airline about flight no mention of transfer?? Hotel told me contact number is in Majorca but they contacted local office to confirm.I would not use nor recommend Teletext to anybody.

I have been waiting and contacted few times. I was told I should call on the first week of April and now the lines are closed. It was done deliberately. I am due to fly on the 19th April but it is cancelled and has been cancelled for a while I had no respond. You guys should really look into your customers queries. TT764406
