This company will take your money, they will answer the phone to do this, then they will not help you after, agents pass you from agent to agent, then when you have a problem they hang up or pass u to another department, no one helps you. Joke of a company, people beware there scammers after they have your money they don't help.

I like many others booked a holiday which was cancelled in April. Told apply for money 31st July, done so, no email confirmation nothing..seems some people have hot a reply 31st Aug. One word JOKE, of a company. Think its time for legal action, solicitor followed by filling for a court order and let the sheriffs get my money back plus expenses. Seeing as how they have breached consumer rights on several levels, by not providing refund within legal guidelines... TT763245

Another day and still no refund, no surprise there really, this company have no idea on customer relations , having to use my own money to pay a member of my party back because we were promised it back by the 31st of July and not even any correspondence over this, shame on you.

The worst customer service ever, i was transferred to 4 different agents without being told, one min im talking to someone the next to their music. So glad i read the reviews. I would avoid at all costs, absolute cowboys!!

Don't book with teletext holidays. Once they have your money, the service ends. They also will tell you whatever you want to hear, to get the booking, in my experience lying about when the deposit needed to be paid, as I said I couldn't afford to pay until February, and I wouldn't be able to book the holiday, if the balance had to be paid earlier, they said February would be fine, then took the money in January. My holiday was cancelled because of Covid. I have received emails from easyjet to say they have refunded my flight money, but teletex keep saying I will receive a credit note in time. I have insisted numerous times that I need a refund, as I booked for 13 people, and need to pay them back. They just keep offering a credit note. I will never use them again, and implore others not to.

Ref: TT769752 Cannot get through to call centre. Holiday booked and paid for, due to depart in May, had generic emails promising further emails that would detail refund timelines etc. that never materialised. We have had emails from EasyJet telling us they have refunded our money back to Teletext Holidays to then pass on to us (early June) but we have still not been refunded or contacted by Teletext Holidays. Avoid!

Teletext COVID processes are appalling. We had two bookings cancelled in April and I have had barely any communication from them. I have emailed to the address that they setup for refunds on 31st July and as expected no reply! I know that they will have a huge number of applications but delaying this process for months when they could have been working their way through them was always going to create this problem. I appreciate that they are trying to preserve cash but this is unacceptable and should not be at the expense of their customers. Ref: TT785105 & TT785093

Still not got my refund. I’m now being told to wait until 31st August 2020. This is not acceptable. I want a refund and am considering going to a solicitor. I can’t get through to them. I have emailed to cancel my holiday but they are not responding at all. We were due to go to Catalonia obviously we can’t go now. Teletext can you please respond to my emails and get back to me??!

ZERO. Don’t ever waste your money or time with this company. Never take calls. Be prepared to spend at least 40 minutes on hold. If you’re lucky enough to speak to someone, they will give you a load of useless information which they have to “abide by, because they are only agents”. Not to mention each of them says something different so expect to be tangled around, back and forth with no solution whatsoever to your problem. And oh, you are never getting your money back no matter how many times you call them. Ignore these silly little “apologies” they write at the end of reviews. All their complaints go down the drain as clearly, we are yet to see any improvement and we’ve been complaining for months now. Trash company, deserve to be sued

I emailed to cancel my holiday, the T&C's advise you that you must put it in writing, which i did. I called customer service to advise them of my actions, I was told that i need to call Jet2 to cancel my holiday, which I thought was odd, nevertheless, i followed the advice i was given. Called Jet2, they told me that Teletext had to cancel the holiday, Jet2 commented that it seemed like a delay tactic, which I agreed with. I called customer service the next day once the lines opened, i was in a que for 40+ minutes, somebody picked the phone up and put it back down. I called, back, after 30+ minutes I spoke to a gentleman called Rahal, he advised me at first that I still had the full balance to pay, i repeated their T&C's back to him, you have to cancel in writing before 84 days from departure, which i have done, if you do that, you do not incur further charges, he tried to tell me that i was wrong, i was repeated the T&C's back to him. He then told me that he couldnt cancel the holiday and that i would have a call back in 24 hours and receive confirmation that my holiday would be cancelled, i then explained that I have cancelled my card and put a block on my account to stop them from taking payment, all of a sudden, he could help me and cancel the holiday. I waited patiently for about another half hour, he advised me that the holiday was cancelled and i would receive confirmation the same day. I hadnt received the confirmation by the afternoon of the same day so i called and spoke to the payment department, Mahmood advised me that i would receive confirmation by the close of play, my holiday is still live on their system and the payment looks set to be taken. Hopefully all of the steps i have taken will prevent this from being taken from my account? I have since emailed Teletext and advised them that if they try to take my money when they know that the holiday is cancelled it will be classed as fraud. For all of you people that need to claim your money back, you need to register your complaint with The Travel Network Group, Teletext are governed by them, their website explains that your money is held in a trust account and they will help you get 100% of your money back. This is the first time i used Teletex, NEVER again, i go on holiday 3 x a year, had they have had good customer support they would have possibly got a lot of business from me. Just another one star review that deserves 0. Absolutely shocking customer service. Hold queues for hours only to be hung up on or passed back into the queue system. Was due to fly mid August, changed the flight to sept '21 and told confirmation would be sent in a week. Received nothing. After speaking to these morons they have no confirmation and still think I'm flying in August after robbing me of even more money to change to next year. Will never be using again

Bad company plz take Your money somewhere else we paid 4grand with family holiday our airline and accommodation was being cancelled no one informed us after calling them several times to make sure everything is sorted and being told yeah everything is all good, what kind of company does that stuck in turkey at the moment with kids. No communication what so ever they hang up the phone with you. I wish I knew before and read all this review lesson learned and our holiday was ruined kids disappointed.

Take my advice don’t don’t ever book with Teletex bad consumer services, no communication what so ever, they hang up the phone after long queue, I booked 4 grand holiday our airline were and accommodation was cancelled no one informed us we called them several time’s to make sure everything is sorted I was traveling with kids youngest 4 years old stuck middle of nowhere lesson learned please be careful take your money some where else.

Make sure you Check out the reviews of the accommodation you are staying in before you travel, my son, girlfriend and 2 small children apartment is a dump, very dirty,( and with the Covid 19 v v v unsafe.)

Oh dear another day, another bad review, still waiting for our refund, had to give one member in my party their money back out of my own pocket, easyjet released flight money 4 weeks ago but what a surprise still not got it back, we were promised full refund by the 31st of July, customer service is awful, 5 times I was on hold for 40 minutes, then everyone was very rude. booking reference no TT759872. I would never use this company again

This is a disgusting company who are happy to take your money, but when it comes to refunds are horrible, rude and very bad mannered. They have the call centre in India who have no knowledge or experience of customer service and provide wrong information. And when u speak they shut the calls on you and make you run around for information. I do not recommend this company, because they are friendly to get a booking and rude when u request ur refund. Dnt waste ur time

I booked a holiday which was cancelled in July. I was told by easyJet first yet Teletext holidays we’re still convinced I was travelling. The amount of times I tried to contact them was ridiculous. They have never replied to my emails when I have asked for a credit note. Eventually they gave in and informed me the holiday had been cancelled and a credit note will be issued. I found another holiday for October 2020 and managed to get through no problem when making a new booking. They confirmed the credit note will be added to the new holiday with a small amount on top to pay by September 15th. I received an email the following day asking me to pay the FULL amount as the balance was over due! I called several times with waits up to an hour on the phone line and no one seems to know what’s going on when you eventually get through. If you book a new holiday they pick up right away. If it’s an existing holiday, the phone never gets answered! There is no live chat. When you call to make a new booking you get someone who’s accent is very hard to understand and the line is very bad with the occasional cut off. I really dont know if my new holiday is booked or not. I have been trying to chase them on on this but no one Gives me a direct answer or they don’t bother getting back in touch to let me know. Every time I try to login to my account and check my booking, a message says they don’t recognise the reference. All the information I put in is correct so it appears I can’t even access my account! I’m at the end of my teather and I certainly won’t use them again! I will definitely be taking this further if no one replies to my email which was sent today. How can this company get away with this. The customer support is non existent! All I need to know is my new holiday booked, and if so why haven’t I received an email confirming this. I was told by one person they have to wait to receive my credit note before confirming my holiday. Who are they receiving my credit note from?? Ref TT796038
