I have been waiting for a call back for over a month now to amend my holiday. I'm trying to call today lve been waiting for over 2 hours I'm still on hold. I will never book with this company again after my experience.

Customer service is Awful! It took almost 2 hours for them to answer the phone just to make a payment! Absolutely Ridiculous and needs to be sorted out straight away.

Never booking a holiday again with teletext flight cancelled by tui and they say need proof they are not flying to Egypt how much more proof do they need also saying need to wait 12 weeks for a refund I paid in December also have to wait 85 mins on hold rang last week on hold for 60 mins guy answered put me on hold for 2 minutes he said 60 mins later I hung up

Never book with them they rubbish rude and none of the staff know what they doing they keep you in hold for hours and they not refunding they taking months

Unfortunately there is not an option to select 0 stars... what a farce! After booking a family holiday for July 2020 for Morocco and it being cancelled on 3rd July I am yet to get sense out of teletext as to when my funds will be refunded. They break consumer law and their staff are rude and nonchalant about large amounts of consumer money being held unlawfully. Do not touch this company with a barge pole!

Dreadful, holiday cancelled in May, unable to rebook as they tried to rip me off charging £1000 more than on their website so I went elsewhere same room same flight everything for the price on the website his excuse was the hotel had put their prices up, utter nonsense. All demands for refund falling on deaf ears have a credit refund for hotel but not flight despite flight company saying they have processed refund but my contract is not with them and I should not have to wait while they get the money back they should be covered for all costs with insurance meantime I have now paid for two holidays and am out of pocket while also paying interest on the payment on my credit card. I am not a bank for this company and they are breaking the law. I am seriously at the end of my rope. They will not budge just the same scripted rhetoric all the time. Reading all the complaints I wish I had never booked with them and rest assured I never will again. Your website says refunds in 14 days its been over 3 months get it sorted this is my money not yours and I am not a bank to prop up your business.

Firstly, I should say I have had holidays with Teletext Holidays in the past and it has been fine. However, this experience has meant that I will never book any holiday with them in the future. I know that this Covid situation has meant a lot of difficulty for everyone but their customer service is absolutely abysmall. I won't bore everyone with the details, they are after all, the same as everyone else has experienced, but after many, many hours of waiting on the phone, emails sent every day, and hours and hours of live chat I received a phone call last Friday morning from a very nice lady promising me that she had just authorised a full refund for me and I would have it by today (Friday 17th July). I was surprised, pleased and naively believed her! How silly, as no refund, credit note or further communication has been received. As plenty of others have said, avoid them and use high street travel agents, I will be doing so in future. If I could have had a minus star, I would have used it.

Nightmare company from hell. Here is my full story as I wrote it in my customer complaint to their email. Never book with them ever again. Booking ref no: TT792432 "Situation: All was going well until I tried to checkin online with the airline provider on the 14th of July only to find out that my scheduled outbound flight's departure has changed from 13:55 to 06:10 am in the morning, so I immediately called you to ask as to why did you not inform me about the change in the flight. You replied that you were not aware of any changes made by the airline. Anyways, my request at this point was very simple that I cannot fly on the 06:10 am flight as I have a family funeral to attend in the morning of the 15th and I can only fly as per the original time of my booking or reschedule my trip to another day. After multiple long phone calls (with waiting times of more than an hour every time), your people informed me that they cannot do anything and that my holiday will be 100% cancelled and nonrefundable if I can't fly the 06:10 am flight, which by the way you didnt even inform me in advance. You falsely guided me to speak directly with the holiday provider "Jet 2 Holidays Ltd', because when I spoke to them, they clearly told me that I am not meant to call them directly, they will not speak to me and they are only authorized to speak with someone from Teletext Holidays. They did inform me that Teletext holidays were informed well in advance regarding the changed flight timings for both outbound and inbound flights. Clearly you didn't bother to give me that information. When I called again on the 15th to explain to you what I learned from Jet2 Holidays, again requesting you to rebook my holidays, you kept transferring me one department to the other over two to three two-hours long calls finally dropping the call on me. I again tried reaching you in the morning of the 16th when a call agent by the name of 'Sahil' transferred the line to an agent called 'Maya' after being on the call for nearly 2 hours, she assured me that she will have this situation resolved by having me speak to a senior member of the team named 'Morgan'. She then advised me that you are currently short staffed and are handling two calls in parallel and that Morgan will call me back by 12 noon (30 minutes from then). She also assured me that she will call me just after 12 to make sure that Morgan has called. Neither Morgan nor Maya never bothered to ever call. I waited the whole day, tried calling you again the afternoon, waited for another 2 hours on hold and when answered, someone just dropped the call again. I tried to ring you again on the 17th morning to speak with Maya, someone answered the phone after 1 hour and 45 minutes of waiting and said they will transfer the line to Maya and as soon they tried to do that, the line was disconnected again. When I decided to file a complaint online on your website, it doesn't let you file one unless you have returned from holidays, and when you select the option that you have returned back from holidays and select the reason for compliant as flights, your website takes you to a '404 page not found' and a monkey game. That's the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen in a formal complaints process. Is this the kind of harassment that you make your customers go through? If I do not get a full refund for my holiday in the next 24 hours, I am more than happy now to report you to Financial Ombudsman Services and file a law suit against your company to ensure that no other customer is ever treated in this manner for a so called UK based company. Please find attachments of the screenshots of my mobile phone while I was on hold with your company."

I have been waiting for nearly 7 weeks to speek to someone about a cancelled holidays days and days on the phone passed to all different people to end up have the phone put down to finally get some where and speek to a very helpful person called William rebooked and now the confirmation has come through it’s the wrong dates !! Tt94296 I am currently on hold at the moment for over an hour and a half and four hours yesterday I need the agent William to call me back ASAP this is disgusting!!!

I had my holiday cancelled in April and still haven’t heard anything tried phoning and e mailing them many times. The government or some organisation needs to step in as it is daylight robbery and we need our money now more than ever!!

What a joke holiday cancelled in june to me I would get a refund in july now they say September got cut off as I asked why,now trying a counter charge through my bank they hinted that they are holding on to the money to stop that's it's due to refund to stop teletext going into administration TT757150 They dont care and are rude

This company sucks never ever use this company to book anything with it is now the 16th of July at 21.41 we are suppose to be going to benidorm on the 17th of July we have not heard one word from them to let us know if we are going or not but I take it we will not be going because they have not sent us any tickets of any kind but try to get through to them well that is another story I was on for 2hours when I had to give up waiting it is a f#@king disgrace I seriously hope everyone sees this review and that you never get another booking from anyone that would like to go on holiday please people go to your on street travel agents that way you can actually go in and get it sorted your an absolute disgrace and I am sure that your call centre that are some were in India you are paying the pitting but you are making thousands from people like us i am sure like myself they will be a lot of people that will never use you again you pack of useless b@#£ard just to let you know folks they have £2500 belonging to me and it is totally impossible to get through to them to get it back stay well clear I hope this review will help a lot of people out there and I hope this will make you think twice about using this company

Hi well what can I say everyone on here has said it all,I can’t believe I tried to help teletext holidays by moving my holiday to next year that was 2 weeks ago a nice young man called Thomas told me not to worry that my holiday had been successful changed to the same time next year although I would have too pay £80 more.ok I said fine book it haven’t heard a word the tt code they gave me doesn’t let me go online and we’ll you know what it is like trying to phone them impossible never again.

Hi holiday cancelled due to covid switched holiday with Thomas the really nice young guy who told me that my holiday had been accepted for next year at the same time etc etc well how wrong was I still waiting for the new confirmation that was 2 weeks ago the company are an absolute joke. I have been on holiday with them many times before but never again they can go f#@# themselves I think it’s time to take legal action🤬🤬🤬🤬

The most awful experience with teletext!! Still waiting for a response from them!! Due to fly in 2 days now and hotel closed!! No one with help me or talk to me on the phone they hang up or any question you ask regarding your issue say they will "pass" you through to someone. I have paid a lot of money and in full for this holiday. They still want me to fly and stayed at a closed hotel with my family? No alternative accommodation given still!!! Paid around £1200 just for the hotel. You have my money teletext as you couldn't of paid a closed hotel. Disgusting and no not respond to any emails. Hang up when you call. Please do not book with teletext!!! Please AVOID!!!!

Anyone wishing to complain about teletext start with citizens advice. I AM!!! They will give you a reference number for your case. Explain to you the next step. It is a start to what will be a long journey ahead to try and claim your money back. Also if you have paid any amount on the credit card you can get a form to fill out under section 75 as they can be held equally responsible. If you still have money to pay just make a small payment if you can on your credit card as it could be another way to try and claim money back. If any one else has advise please let me know. Just one thing never ever book with Teletext avoid them !!!

Warning Do Not Book with Teletext!! Hours on hold to be cut off if you talk about any issues, promised call backs as they can never deal with the problem there and then. No call backs!! Happily have taken payments during lock down knowing my hotel is closed. Payment plan at start of holiday wasn't actually true and took different amounts out each month. No communication from them about hotel closure. Bewarne!! Check your self and phone the hotel...I got told it will be open in time for when I arrive so to go and should be fine. Only it is not teletext its closed! No alternative given for a different hotel and never been offered a refund. Emails sent to everyone linked to Teletext and no response!!! Please do not book if you have any issue they will not be resolved. I am taking this further with citizens advice and with a solicitor. Teletext should not be allowed to treat customers this way. AVOID at all costs!!!

I’m due to fly in 55 hours. They have only just admitted the hotel is closed. I’ve been telling them for days now. They made me prove to them that it was not open. They claimed they were speaking to the hotel while I was on hold! What they didn’t know was, so was my wife. At the same time they were claiming to be speaking to the hotel I had the manager on the phone telling me it was closed. They still haven’t called or emailed to offer me any alternative accommodation. There advice “travel and see what happens” wow.... They are the worst company I’ve ever dealt with and it’s not even close. Negligent, dishonest, untrustworthy, lying, incompetent, uncaring, greedy, disreputable. These are the nice things I have to say about them. I would be banned from the site if I wrote my true feelings. Ref TT783777 (I know this reference of by heart I’ve called them that much to solve the problems they have caused) If my holiday goes ahead it will not be down to Teletext Holidays, I have had to do everything myself. 12 hours on the phone yesterday my wife roughly the same. 10-15 emails and we are no further forward than when I started. Avoid this company
