Teletext is an absolute joke. I have been trying since the end of March to get a refund. I was due to fly out on the 29th May. I was told to hold off until after 31st July as that is when they will get their refunds from other providers. Still waiting!! I have spent numerous hours waiting on my calls to be answered and have spoken to them through live chat and sent emails with no response. All of a sudden i can't seem to find live chat on their website???? I will never use this company again, if COVID didn't damage their reputation their customer service has!!

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. Holiday was cancelled due to covid so tried to book for the following year only for them to add a further £500 on top because "they were trying to recoup what they had lost".... their words not mine. When I refused I was told I would get a refund..... still waiting. Then got a call saying that they were will to offer me 40% off the holiday so again I chose exactly the same holiday but for 2021.... Guess what.... £500 more expensive and when i challenged the teletext employee and was able to prove Love Holidays could do it at the price I had paid originally and the amount they considered to be 40% off was in fact more like 20% I was told "I can see you are well versed in this". Still waiting for my refund. I will never buy another holiday from this band of crooks.

Teletext have refused to refund our holiday since march 2020 they have said they have refunded us although failed to provide atransaction ID for refunds when asked then on another call said the refund was not complete and we would get a full refund then numerous calls finally got through to another representative who said no refunds have gone through at all as JET 2 and other airlines are failing/refusing to give teletext any refunds so teletext as they are very poor from a customer service perspective are lying to customers to try and delay irate customers. Promised numerous manager call backs within a 48 hr period all failed. Informed trading standards and the ombudsan I suggest anyone who has not got their redund do the same thing if teletext go bust all refunds will be lost I asked for all call recording transcripts which I was denied although this is a clear GDPR breach something is not right and from the majority of reviews we all can see this time for the CEO to speak and help us! I ask the CEO of teletext to address my post and respond to me ASAP with my full refund ready!

WARNING! NEVER BOOK A HOLIDAY WITH TELETEXT HOLIDAYS! I booked a holiday through Teletext Holidays to Croatia in Jan 2020, costing a total of £2999.00. , I have sent numerous emails to Teletext Holidays and have nothing but generic responses from them that say’s absolutely nothing about myself receiving a refund – I received an email from Their customer services team (Saj Ahmed) on the 30th July that stated the following: Dear Customer, Your refund request has been received and we would like to thank you for your continued patience during this time. There are a high volume of customer requests to manage but please be assured we will be responding to your request by Wed 5th August with further details regarding your refund. Please do not send further emails as this will delay our response. We are grateful for your patience during this time and assure you of our closest attention at all times. Kind regards, Teletext Holidays I did as I was asked and waited until today the 5th of August to be STALLED yet again! I want and Need my refund ASAP, as stated many times in my emails to your selves of which I am entitled too! Since the 8th of July I have emailed teletext Holidays several times and sent several to your compliance department, customer care department and customer relations department and had absolutely no response! I contacted Teletext Holidays on the 8th July 2020 to ask you to process a refund for our holiday as Easyjet confirmed that they had cancelled our out bound flight – therefore making it impossible for us to physically go on holiday to Croatia. I actually contacted the hotel we were supposed to be staying at as I was worried teletext had not informed them just in case Teletext had not contacted them to cancel our booking and process our refund – they replied stating that they could not even find a reservation for us! Unbelievable! Teletext just keep fobbing me off via Facebook messenger saying you cannot or will not issue our refund until you receive the monies back from your suppliers! As far as I am concerned I booked our package holiday through t Teletext Holidays and they replied stating that you don’t book hotels/accommodation directly - NOT MY PROBLEM, I am entitled to a full refund and I do not want a credit note and do not want to rebook a holiday for later in the year!! You are legally obliged to refund me within 14 days … as stated on the BBC News today! As far as I am concerned you at Teletext holidays are using every excuse under the sun to stall paying me back my refund for the full amount of £2999.00, for the above holiday, which included flights and accommodation. I spoke with a foreign lady last Thursday (23/07/20) and she did not mention that you used a third party to book the accommodation and she also did not mention that we would be given a credit note instead of a cash refund! I definitely don’t want a credit note and as pointed out in my many previous communications with yourselves via email, phone calls and Facebook Messenger it states in your terms and conditions that if a multi package holiday has been booked through yourselves that YOU are fully responsible for the booking and should pay back any refunds owed and we should not be expected to wait for you to receive refunds from your suppliers! I am absolutely shocked and appalled by Teletext’s lack of customer support – this whole process has been a nightmare!

TT784245...Same, same, same. Holiday booked 3rd July, cancelled and no communication since. Tried calling, false promises and cut off twice. I understand you're busy Holly, but all I want is genuine communication and kept up to date as to when I'm getting my voucher that I can then reclaim back. Have another holiday booked in September....no doubt it'll be the same issue.

I booked my holiday back in June to come and have a nice relaxing time with my son I am single parent . I am currently in Spain malaga . I came yesterday however I am very desapointed by the hotel and it is services .no entertainment , no kids pool or kids entrainment. Food all frozen rubbish . No room clinging . The atmosphere is off ! All inclusive. I am gutted nothing i expected . I call them earlier to change to another hotel . And they said one of the team will call me back tomorrow if nothing is done I will cut my holiday short . Very misleading all I can say for now . I will have to make a formal complaint if they don’t chAnge the hotel for me . I am very upset and feeling depressed when I am supposed to be on a sunny holiday relaxing

Absolutely disgusting! Had our holiday cancelled due to Covid 19 in may and still waiting for a refund. I’m taking this further and going to court because they won’t pay me back my refund!!! Trading standards are involved and it’s going further! They got a refund from Jet 2 one month after but they won’t give me a refund!!! Joke

DO NOT BOOK WITH TELETEXT HOLIDAYS I had a holiday booked with teletext holidays I should of gone on holiday on the 29/07/2020 the flight was cancelled and teletext holiday never got in touch to tell me they still haven’t been in touch after me ringing them I was told someone would be in touch and they still haven’t I’m owed £1696 from this place this is a really poor customer service don’t bother booking with these I’ve also had the phone put down on me about 3 times really bad customer service staff I spoke to was very rude I want my money back!!!!!

i made the changes to my holiday on Tuesday 4th August and spent over 2 hours on the phone changing my holiday from Majorca to Cyprus. I then had to called back and emailed on 5th August and was promised by documents within 24 hours. The documents did not arrive. I emailed and called back on 7th August and was told again these would arrive within 3 hours. Again not documents arrived. I called and emailed again on 8th August and was promised they would be sent before the end of the day. I was absolute furious and on Saturday 9th August I refused to hang up until my travel documents were sent to me on email. My confirmation came though on email and i thought that was good enough.Until i was in Cyrpus and found out that the holiday i had booked through you had been cancelled by you. I want a full refund and compensation. You are not even able to use the complaint procedure on the website

Awful service, used teletext many times and only ever had one issue but today rang to say we might cancel and what was the policy as due to travel 23rd August, the conversation went on to looking at going somewhere else, call disconnected no one rang back, then emailed my hotel as go there often to be told teletext had already cancelled it without my agreeing to it! Unbelievable!

I did not even have a holiday I only rang to book one and two minutes later after the agent was rambling on about something completely different to what I rang for I said it’s ok I’ll leave it so I put the phone down and he rang back so I said I would like to leave for another day to which he said don’t you ring back he was so rude

You cancelled our holiday/honeymoon due for departure in April. Despite many many emails and phone calls (when you can get through)still no refund. I’ve tried chargeback but you’ve even ignored my bank. Please can I have refund TT767512. I have used Teletext before but after this NEVER AGAIN. Not even a response from the numerous emails.

Check my trustpilot reviews also WARNING!!!! If you hear of a 'Flora' to fix your issue she will not. Another lie from the worst company I have ever dealt with. They are a shambles. Stick to the high street where you can see someone face to face not these cowards.

I have tried calling TELETEXT! they keep hanging up. I have already paid for my holiday!!!! its issued as a CREDIT NOTE due to COVID-19 and they are telling me there is an out standing balance - TT788928 I HAVE BANK STATEMENTS SHOWING I PAID FULL AMOUNT. please contact me asap. how can I go to my holiday with this going on!!! so stressful I will take legal action

We've been trying to get a due refund since March due to a coronavirus cancellation. Not paying us our refund is illegal and breaks every rule in the industry so having been more than patient I'm now going to escalatethis in any way possible including legal action if necessary to get our money back from this theiving bunch of scumbags. I appreciate staff are in an impossible position. Management there is inept.

Worst travel company I have ever dealt with, we are due to fly out 31/08/2020, due to the 14 day isolating on return to the uk , we can’t possibly go as my husband as a operation booked for 11/09/2020 I can’t have the time off work, I have rang them on numerous times only to get through to be cut off again , over 40 pounds in calls , I have emailed time after time, and still nothing, it’s 18 days till we are surpose to travel, I was going to transfer my holiday to another date but because of the disgusting manner of which they treat their customers I now want a full refund and will never book with them again, and if there is anybody out there who will have the desency to call me back and not cut my call off after a few seconds my confirmation no is TT782540,

Do Not Book with Teletext !! booked in full holiday which was cancelled by teletext due to covid Easy jet refunded flight money £436.64 to Teletext who refuse to speak to me. Teletext also refuse to honour the voucher they gave me for £766.22 what a shocking company!!

We have been trying to get full refund for holiday YOU cancelled since March, we have now been told we have to email you? We have been emailing you since March, just refund us our £899.00 and we guarantee that we won’t trouble you again because I would rather pull my eyes out than ever go near a Teletext holiday again. EasyJet have confirmed they have paid the flight money to you so refund it back now. I can see you are asking for booking details WHY just give all of us our money back NOW ..we didn’t cancel YOU DID
