Like all the other reviews teletext has had my money since the 2nd of Jan for a my husbands retirement holiday booked for may to malta but was cancelled by ryanair who we did not want to fly with but our original company was thomas cook. I have contacted this company numerous times and have got the same lame excuses blaming every one else not giving their monies to teletext, I feel the same as everyone all they are going is tightening the noose around their company because genuine people will never use them again but they are keeping all our monies back for themselves appalling company

The worst customer service. Holiday booked for June 2020. Teletext cancelled it in May due to corona. Teletext refused to give me a refund and issued me with coupons that I could trade for a cash refund at the end of September. 13th July Easy Jet refunded my flight money back to Teletext. 30th September - No refund given. After several attempts to contact an advisor and hours spent on hold (at my cost) i was given another date i would be refunded, 31st October. 31st October - No refund given. More hours spend on hold multiple times. Emails sent with no reply. Finally spoke to an advisor who guaranteed the money would be in my account within 10 days. 10th November - No refund given. More hours on hold, again at a cost to me. I was given another date, 31st November. 31st November - No refund given. It is now 5th December, I have made countless phone calls in the past 5 days. Sent several emails - no reply. 5th December - the customer service advisor stated: She cannot give me a date i will be refunded. I cannot speak to the refund department. There is no one senior i can speak to. There are no other numbers I can ring. She can do nothing to help me because my refund status is 'processing' (its been processing for 6 months). She blamed the airline for the delay. She blamed the banks for the delay. I have no other option but to take legal action. Do not DO NOT be tempted in to booking with this fraudulent company to save a couple of quid. If something, anything goes wrong they remove all channels to communicate with someone, are zero help when you do speak to someone and are basically stealing money. Both the airline and resort refunded my payments back to Teletext in July. Its criminal they won't issue my refund. Lying, thieving, untrustworthy company!

Worst company ever, they don’t realise they’re losing millions of customer for the future. They won’t be getting furlough then, would they. The company will soon be bankrupt. I have started my court proceedings, my brother is using his travel insurance team to claim his money back. Best of luck all, we can’t let them get away with it. TT783829

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!! my holiday was cancelled in may!!! still NO refund, i gets palmed off every time i speak to someone, or i gets told 7-10 working days!! apparently there’s no management to speak to, gets told to email the returns team which no one gets back to you either! the company is a JOKE

I am still waiting for a call back to make an amendment to my holidays in May 2021. I have spent hours on the phone trying to reach someone to sort out a change in my package when they finally answer they said someone will call me back, but no call at all, seriously I got very disappointed and I told them that I want to cancel my booking due to the lack of professionalism and the cost to cancel is £2000 to cover just the flights.. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

Keeping my refund. Trying to change there t&c but luckily I've got the original from booking. They have a nerve to dispute charge back at bank and think they are higher authority than what clearly set out 14 days refund window. Stay clear unless you like to loose money. This has gone on for months now enough is enough.

TT778344 UNBELIEVABLE!!!! The lack of service and professionalism of this company is just appalling. What is going on with their refunds policy?? Why are people being fobbed off?? Why can’t they be clear and transparent with the timescales?? Why are they holding on to money they have received from airlines?? We have received a partial refund but why not the flights??? The CEO of TT needs to get off his backside and do something about this! NO ONE will use TT again!! This can only end in liquidation! Watch this space! GIVE PEOPLE THEIR MONEY BACK

Booked out holiday last year for 6 of us. Should have gone turkey in June.. jet2 have given teletext the flight money back two weeks after it got cancelled!!!!! Why are teletext keeping our money 1000’s of phone calls & emails sent ... rude people on the phone when you say you want money back they put the phone down ...... rude and unprofessional DO NOT BOOK UR HOLIDAY WITH THEM ......

I am wating sence June to receive my refound which is 1175 and still did not receive it and when I ring it take 30 to 40 minuts to get trew and then to be hung up on I would not recemend them to no one and they funny part off it all is it didn't take them 3 minuts to take they money for they hoilday but believe me I will get my money back off them I will not stop until I do if I have to bring them to they small claims court I will do so

AVOID!! Do not book with Teletext Holidays. Full of false promises and lies. They would rather constantly call me to re-book a holiday with them rather than actually process my requested refund. Following the cancellation of my holiday, I've followed all of their guidelines to obtain my refund but there's always an excuse. Apparently my refund was due to arrive in my account today (30th November 2020) but nope, nothing and I've been told I've got to wait longer. Absolutely ridiculous! Where's my refund Teletext??

TT792541 Keep well clear of this Amateur outfit, been waiting 3 months for refund only to be told it'll be another 2 months before I receive a refund, then it will probably be another 2 months and so on, difficult to contact and when you do get through different operators tell you conflicting advice then cut you off on the phone and will not answer e mails, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

TT801042, illegally holding my money, they're bound by package travel regulations which states refunds should be issued inside 14 days. They claim people must wait months again it's against the law. They've had the money back from the airline weeks, but won't refund it back to me. Customer service is horrendous, Teletext are a set of crooks, liars and are very deceitful company. 10 days now until I start court proceedings against them. Please warn friends and family never to use this disgusting company. They never reply to emails or social media, hang up the phone on you if you won't put up with their nonsense.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The customer service is awful they just hang up on you. I had to constantly chase for our flight tickets and never got any response via email.

MY HOLIDAY WAS CANCELLED IN OCTOBER 2020 TUI HAVE REFUNDED THE COST OF THE FLIGHTS TO YOU.IM £650 OUT OF POCKET AND STILL NO REFUND YOUR SO CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE REP HAHAHA ADVISED ME TO RING BACK IN JANUARY 2021 AS THERE WAITING FOR UPDATE.

Been chasing refund since July, been told i would get it aug,sept november. They didnt even email me to say my holiday was cancelled i only knew as the uk had gone into lockdown. They havent once called me to discuss a refund i have had to call them everytime, they havent once emailed to state the next process with refund. Ive had to wait numerous times over a hour to speak with someone on the phone, at first they tried to force me to have a voucher! Its been november and still havent got my money and they havent emailed or called to say i havent? No one replies to emails or twitter. I got made redundant this year and could of done with my £1500+, disgusting, greedy lying! I would rather book with professional and respectable companies going forward would never book with a low respected company again. Get some class!

Terrible company. They have not made any refund despite having had a refund for the flights from EasyJet weeks ago. Terrible customer service, they do not respond to phone calls, emails etc. Would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. My advice is to try to claim your money back via your credit card company.

TT80874 never again will I use TT , they won’t issue my refund after six months, still waiting, emails I’ve sent about 200 never reply, phone calls they cut you off after 20 minutes they have had my money since February, they say you will get it in next 5-7 days, lies lies lies,

Booked holiday in January to go away in June got cancelled because of covid so transferd it till December. I've just found out the hotel we booked has been closed since March so they had sold us an holiday that doesn't exist we've had no contact from teletext I've had endless phone calls constantly being cut off.were do to fly December 21st but have no where to stay and they won't refund us discussing dont deal with teletext 👎
