I called our hotel to check on facilities and expectations when we arrive...on Monday 13th July to Lanzarote. Flights a re still live and asking for us to check in...The hotel is closed until August 1st. no alternative accommodation suggested. Teletext have been my provider for 20 years. I am not happy with them right now. I have been calling for support and on hold for three days now! And have emailed so many times I've lost count. Why would I consider flying out to a country where I know there is no available accommodation? Am I missing something here? I have an autistic son and have prepared him for this holiday along with my partner. I have had no response at all from Teletext support team, I have spoken with several who have just transferred me and I have sat on hold for hours and hours to no avail! Most phone numbers do not work or are on a loop... they answer if you press option 1 for new sales but no one is available for customer support option 2!! its appalling, they really should be dealing with existing customers first surely? I want a refund a postponement or a replacement Hotel is this too much to ask?? I will be seeking advice from Citizens Advice and if necessary the Ombudsman. and the 1 star was only so i could write a review ! Kate Knaggs TT773563

This company doesn't deserve even one star but I couldn't give them zero. Very poor customer service. I'll never use this site ever again and I don't recommend it to anyone.

If i could give it less than 1 I would. Paid £900 only to be told once payment had been accepted that we needed to pick somewhere else aa that was no longer available!! Dana attitude stunk, did not understand we wanted what we had been quoted for and paid for. She then tried to leverage us to book something else as she had booked flights. Asked for refund and she hung up!! £900 spent and NO holiday booked. 3 hours on hold to be passed to someone else and then to be disconnected. So many similar stories when you research company. Nobody has a moral compass, they assume if they make it difficult for the customer they will just drop it and get to keep our money! Disgraceful. Spent 3 hours on hold. One gentleman answered and after we explained we have no holiday but the company has £900 of our money hes responce was, "oh sh**" transfered us and we got disconnected! Holidays should be stressfree, teletext only interested in making money and pis*ing people off my strong handing them into spending more money knowing you have paid a awful amount already but still have NOTHING!! They use fear to try leverage more spending & get the ar*e very quickly after they have taken your money!! Prior to that they are nice as pie, respectful helpful..once they got that money they turn blint, rude & no insentive to be nice anymore as they got what they needed which was the customers cash & zero sh**s given they havent booked you a holiday in the end but happy to keep the funds! Astonishing how many people ive spoken to on social media platforms who have experieced same, one having waited now 1 year next month for her refund! Also emailed founder. W _ Perks @ teletext.co. uk (review wont let me write it in full) the founder and guess what, ignored to! 😂 Teletext customer support called Ellie called me to ask to not email above address as it stopping him from being able to "work" dont seam to appreciate them having my money is stopping me from booking my holiday? Recorded phonecall. And screenshot all the other customers chats on instagram who experienced same level of shoddy customer service! This morning my partner had 16 calls from sales department in under 20 minutes. Quick to call back if they think there making a sale, not so quick to call when somthing gone wrong! Deleting customers comments on instagram aswell whenever they try asking about their refunds owed. Just not doing themselves any favours at all! Instead of hiding comments and blocking those making complaints from being able to see eachother posts on your instagram, how about deal with the problem?! Think they expect people to just drop it! Its Almost laughable now lol

I would certainly not recommend booking a holiday with Teletext holidays, customer service is just awful, do not reply to emails and cannot get through on phone, I was hung up on one day on phone, plus their English is poor, booked a holiday with them for end of May this year, I haven't received no call from them with holiday being cancellled, was told them by them would have to wait till August for refund as too busy with rebookings, never again would I book with them and certainly not recommend them!! They don't even deserve one star rating !!!!!

Booking number TT782431 was cancelled due to covid-19 lockdown. The date passed and I never heard off Teletext. I called and advisor Yeswant extension number 3040 said there is nothing they can do except wait until 31st August 2020 for an update as they are still waiting for airline and accommodation providers to give refund. I won't hold my breath for this dirty immoral and disgusting company. I want to throw up I feel sick !

Booking number TT782431 was cancelled due to covid-19 lockdown. But Teletext have not communicated with me ever since this date passed. No word of a refund. When I called them advisor Yeswant extension number 3040 said to wait until 31st August as they are still chasing refunds from airline and accommodation providers. I won't hold my breath. Dirty company with dirty morals, disgusting I wouldn't urinate on them if they were on fire !

TT751559 REFUSING REFUND I was due to go to Majorca on 23rd April for 7 days. This was cancelled due to the COVID outbreak and TT are refusing to give a refund. They are making up lies about not being refunded themselves by the airlines etc... even though I’ve had confirmation from easyJet that the money has gone back to TT. They are ignoring emails and phone calls. I’m not the only one in this situation, there are thousands of people being left without their money. DO NOT BOOK WIYH TELETEXT HOLIDAYS!!!

Ref TT729706 my name is janet Mclarnon still nothing from teletext about my refund despite numerous e mails no use foning them as their call centres in India just hang up after being so rude it's unbelievable teletext keep changing the dates for refund first it was 31st July now it's august jeez they'll change it again and again to avoid paying people their hard earned money are they hoping that this oap will pop her clogs before i get paid it's a disgrace the way they are treating people I've now went down chargeback from my bank fraud and reported teletext to everyone i can think of alone with the thousands they are scamming never again will i trust teletext

Teletext cancelled our holiday and are refusing to issue us with a cash refund as requested. Instead they are trying to fob us off with a credit note, despite the fact they no longer have the same hotel and destination that my wedding is booked in on their site.

Shocking customer service was supposed to fly June 10th had to constantly chase them for money back via live chat as I’ve given up ringing them over an hour I’ve waited on hold for line to go dead ... all they do it just try fob me off with a credit note they told me I’ll get money back end of September when I want a cash refund now!! Dont book with this company Been on hold on phone for 5 hours When i did through was put through to call centra in india was told i would have a compleat refund in 30 days Its now 45 days later and NO refund Thay took full payment back in september 2019 for my hoilday in june 2020 Thay wont talk to me anymore but still have the dam cheak to send me emails offering me cheap hoildays for next year if i give them a deposit now Thay have £800 of my hard earned money and treat me like im rubbish This company should be closed down by the goverment And be made to give people there money back Ref number TT750856 Mr j shaw

PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH THUS COMPANY ,I WAS ON THE PHONE FIR 8 HOURS WAITING TO GET MY HOLIDAY MOVED TO NEXT YEAR DUE TO THIS COVID 19 ,BUT JUST GOT MOVED AROUND FROM PILLAR TO POST AND STILL NO ANSWERS SO AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS

Teletext holidays think it's ok to steal people's money. They are refusing to give refunds. They put the phone down on you and ignore all your emails. People PLEASE don't book a holiday with these cowboys. The amount of people who have had nothing but trouble is ridiculous. So please avoid, the company should be shut down. I've emailed Wayne perks the ceo. He'll probably ignore me as well.

We booked our holiday for April 2020 which we had to move because of covid and that was fine but since then we have had nothing but problems. Our flights have been cancelled for Oct because of payment when our holiday has been paid for. I call and call been on hold nearly 2 hours to have the phone put down on me. Then I get told I will be called back which I dont get. I've been told once the money from my old holiday needs to be moved to new one but why wasn't that done when I changed it! Now my flights are cancelled! After this year this is all I need. I'm trying to keep it together to get it sorted but i feel like I'm going crazy! I've wrote to watchdog so if you reading this write to them as well this cant continue!!

My Holiday was cancelled by them, should have travelled on 6th June 2020. I've been sent a 'Protected Refund Credit Note', but I want my money back. I've been told I can't apply for a cash refund until 30th September, absolutely disgusting, they've had my money since April. I've tried to ring them but was on hold for over half an hour. If I ring up to book a holiday there is someone there immediately to take money from me, so why can't they treat all their customers with respect. Can't even go on a stay cation as they are keeping my money. Pensioners don't have access to unlimited amounts of money. Very, very bad customer service!!

Still fighting for a cash refund I have been told to approach ATOL or my card supplier after repeated emails to them are being ignored..They have also tried to fob me off with vouchers no way I want a full cash refund! My card supplier advised me to approach ATOL as I do have a certificate that covers my holiday!

we are disgusted at the lack of communication with teletext holidays.pitty I had to even give 1 star just to get here.we do NOT want credit notes.we want our hard earned cash back and as for them sitting with our money in their big fat bank accounts..we want paid in full with compensation as well

Would give no stars, rude people, they received my money from Ryanair on 2nd June but still telling me to wait as it in process, constantly lied to, no managers bother call you back even after receiving email to call me fro there own agents,
