I ordered a made to measure half moon rug in February this year. After just over 8 months it was finally delivered, this being nearly double the maximum time quoted on ordering. I do not have time to explain the entire story but this company has been awful to deal with, particularly when you have a problem. Customer service is terrible, compensation almost non existent and lastly I find it incredible to believe they asked me to provide feedback after providing such poor service. This goes to show how naïve this company is. The only good thing to say that the rug itself when it finally arrived was fine, just a shame it longer to make than to build our nearby lidls.

One rug was a different size from that advertised, the other had a flaw. Made numerous telephone calls and sent emails regarding collection for return and a refund and am still waiting to hear. Three emails have now gone unanswered.

Very late Delivery and lack of communication...very dissaponted The Rug when it arrived is not Red so why advertise in the "Red" category the colour is actually a dark wine colour. I do understand that in your T&C's you intimate that you cannot be responsible for customers perception of any colours as viewed on Internet however in this instance the colour was no where near being Red so why advertise it as "Red" We now have Rug that is no use whatsoever to us and would now cost us £25 to send back so probably not worth doing to then possibly wait another Month for a replacement.

3 identical rugs ordered - arrived all different colour variations, then had to constantly chase for updates and eventually lost patience and demanded full refund. Company admitted their Quality Control had not been good enough and gave them a chance to put this right but they didn't.

I ordered a small rug for my bedroom, when it came it was not the colour or the design I had ordered. I sent an email to say you had sent me the wrong rug and the email I got back was to say that was the rug I had ordered. I sent a picture of the rug I had ordered, they then said that I couldn't have the rug in the picture as the design would not fit on to a small rug. This just was not true as I already had a rug with the design and colour on it. I have ordered a few rugs from The Rug Seller in the past but after the way I was treated I will not be ordering any more.

How they got that high reviews? Order placed on 06.10.16 we are on 26th now and nothing from them, basically you buy from them and they use your money to get the carpet for you,after a week from order they sent my an email ,that they do not have on stock one of the carpets that i ordered and they gonna send it in roughly a month. Customer service .....awful...the lady on the line was keep repeating me that i'm gonna receive the goods in the delivery time 2-10 days, i had to remind her that passed all ready 14 days (Working days)..and finally i got a promise that ill have on time at least one of the rugs, that time passed and now i prey to get at least my money back from them. Zero stars from me, if i could select that

The rug arrived and was all creased with fold lines even thiugh it was rolled round a cardboard tube. The rug wasnt good quality. Looked cheap but the fold marks were awful and would not have come out. When i complained and asked to return it. Th return process was not easy. I had to pay my own return postage. I was given a link for courier companies which was way more expensive than contacting courier companies direct. The initial response from rug seller was "regrettably tge return itself is up to you i will send a link for courier companies" regrettably its up to me!!!! I did eventuallt get an apology but too soon to see if they refund all money and postage

Ordered in July, company kept making excuses, blaming the supplier. Delivery dates were being pushed back at every correspondence. No sense of sincere apology

They sent me the wrong colour rug, and said that if I wanted to send it back, I would have to pay for the courier myself if I wanted a refund. Terrible company to deal with and would never ever recommend these misleading people. It clearly stated heritage blue and received green

the rug that i got was an entirely different colour than that on the internet,i rang your customer service who told me i had got the colour that was advertised,i told him to look on the internet at the coulor that was advertised and i would ring back,i tried ringing back but got an answering service every time i dont know if he refused to answer or what but i am stuck with a rug that is no use to me ,i have bought two other rugs from you that have been great but am very dissapointed with this one. betty clarke 01524 770665

Very disappointed with the customer service. The rug I bought is keeping shedding for about 10 months, when I contact customer service for the first time they said the rug will be shedding for life time, which doesn't say in the description, so you don't know what you're buying. I emailed them three times but they don't even bother to reply. Never met worsted customer service.

They sent me a totally different colour to the one which I ordered. Then I had to pay to return the rugs to them, had it have been my fault for ordering the wrong colour I would obviously paid for the return quite happily . They made the mistake, I still had to pay for them to be returned. They were most unhelpful and disinterested, as far as they were concerned it was either keep the rugs we sent to you even though they are not what you ordered or pay a very hefty fee to send them back and thus get a refund of the rugs value only NO POSTAGE REFUNDED.

website is misleading, and falsely allows you to buy stock, they don't actually have!!!! was tld by customer service (two members) that it could take up to 8-10 days. now into day 12 and still no rug! poor, bad service,

The rug I received was NOTHING like advertised in the image. The company refused to see this and I have to pay to send it back by courier. The quality of the rug that I did receive was absolutely shocking, you could get better for £10.

The quality of the rug is so poor. I loved the design and colors and that is why I purchased my rug ; but actually the poor fabric quality affected even how I feel about the colors. Will never purchase from this shop again. If it wasnt really a burden to send them the rug again ( big and heavy and i have no car and no clue how expensive it will be to send it back) , i would have definitely refunded this rug.

The rug arrived and placed in the bedroon where a family member was residing, after an hr they had an asthma attack which they hadn't had in six months, the room was full of fumes from the rug, I removed it instantly and ventilated the room which smelt 3 days later, put it in the hall and a visitor commented straight away had to evacuate it to the shed, the sellers response was peg it on the line, this is normal. Of course new things smell we are used to this, I feel insulted that the customer services played it all down and said its normal, this was not normal this was extreme. To add insult to injury I had to pay the cost of returning it. I feel we should of got compensation for the incident as my family member was very distressed never mind having to pay carrier charges.. I wouldnt have gone for that had they paid the return charges for what I consider a faulty product but due to the very poor customer service we are seeking satifaction via the ombudsman service.
