Never will I order from this company again, the return policy is ridiculous, I have been on the phone for over an hour cause I have to authorise a return before I can return products?!. Or take it to a store but only once there scanned will they know if I can return them to store or not?!. So do I travel all the way to get told no you can’t return them. Or I can lay out of my own pocket to send back with tracked delivery and the box is huge so going to cost me a fortune to return, very frustrating and I won’t order again no chance!

Same problem as everyone else ordered parcel 12th nov got an email a few days later to say it was delayed. Not heard anything since, I’d cancel order if I could get through to them! First time shopping with them, never again.

Ordered on the 3rd. Never came, gave them til the 19th where I canceled my order. Now its the 26th and no refund as it wasn't actioned. Pure incompetent. The worse, ever.. for years.. customer service

Ordered items on 8th Nov due to be delivered on the 15th. Since be told it will be another 7-10 days which seems to be the standard response. Hoping i get it soon but who knows!

14 APRIL ORDERED TABLE AND SIX CHAIRS.TOLD IT WOULD BE DELIVERED IN BEGINING OF JULY. .THEY CANCELLED.THAT DELIVERY. WE ACCEPTED THEIR REASON,BECAUSE OF THE TROUBLE IN IRAQ, SO GOODS COULD NOT GET THROUGH..GIVEN A NEW DATE .THE DATES WHERE CANCELLED 15 TIMES. THE REASON DIFFERENT EACH TIME.THEY HAD THE CHAIRS BUT NOT THE TABLE, WHEN WE COMPLAINED STRONGLY THE GENT.JOHN SAID HE WAS SORRY ABOUT THE DELAY BUT WE WOULD DEFINITELY GET IT DELIVERED, DATE GIVEN FOR THAT MONTH. GUESSED RIGHT,IT DID NOT ARRIVE .RANG AGAIN ,THIS TIME TOLD IT WAS OUT OF STOCK. THIS WAS END OF NOVEMBER. THEY CANCELLED 15 TIMES IN TOTAL.THEY TOLD US WE COULD CANCELL BUT WE WOULD MOST PROBABLY HAVE TO WAIT WITH ANOTHER COMPANY. AFTER 8 MONTHS,NOT DAYS 8 MONTHS. WE WHERE SO CONCERNED WE WOULD NOT HAVE A TABLE FOR CHRISTMAS,WE HAD TO CANCEL.WE ORDERED ON LINE AND HAD THE FURNITURE DELIVERED WITHIN A WEEK. NO APPOLOGY OR RECONPENCE FROM RANGE. I AM TAKING THIS FURTHER. IF WE KEEP LETTING THESE RETAILORS GET AWAY WITH IT. THIS DISGUSTING SERVICE WILL CONTINUE. DON'T EXPECT A GOOD SERVICE FROM RANGE. THEY ARE ALSO STRANGERS TO THE TRUTH

I have been waiting 3 weeks for my parcel to be dispatched, takes so long to get through on the phones. Only get automated responses online. No one replied to my message on Instagram or Facebook. I was told 7-10 days wait. Still says processing. I've ordered things for Christmas. Very dissatisfied. Goodness knows when I will finally get my parcel!

Ordered on 5th Nov saver delivery (3-5 working days). When chased, I got an automated response to say now between 7 and 10 working days. It has now been 14 working days and not even despatched yet. No one is getting back to me on these deliveries. Very very poor customer service and delivery. Won't order from here again.

Ordered from the Range 11th November, followed up on my order 17th November and was told it was due for delivery that day but they were behind so would most likely be Monday 22nd. Still not received, so followed up again today 25th and was told yet to be despatched !!! when questioned I was told they can't ship all the orders at once they don't have enough drivers - what an absolute shambles. I was also told I can cancel my order at any time, but having seen all the poor reviews I am worried about receiving a refund. Certainly won't be ordering on Range Website again.

Let me starts off by saying I am 21 and I’m a small girl, I ordered a bed and no where did it say it is only going to be delivered to the front door. I live alone and I live on the 10th floor, I also work from home. So when the driver called and said he was outside I asked him to please bring it inside, he said no, and proceeded to say it is only 24 kg you’ll be able to lift it no problem. After begging the delivery driver that I won’t be able to carry this bed to my flat he offered to send it up in the lift, let me just say it took me 10 whole minutes to drag this box across 10 metres to my flat. If it said anywhere it would just be curbside delivery I would not have purchased. I looked at the box and the box had the correct name of the item and to me who doesn’t know much about beds looked fine as the name matched the bed I ordered. I paid a handyman to put the bed together just to find out when he put the mattress on it was the wrong size. They sent me a small double instead of a standard double, on every piece of paper sent with the bed the measurements matched a standard 4’6, but the bed measured 4ft which is a small double. Also the bed looked very different to the photos, when I spoke to customer service she said the photos don’t show the stitches on the headboard and I said the whole side of the bed is completely different to the photos and she said well that’s just the photos being wrong then. I asked for the bed to be collected whole and she said I’ll have to take it apart and bring it downstairs for collection. I then called the range and said I physically can’t take the bed apart myself and they said that they will arrange a delivery with a different courier and I will receive an email within 72 hours with a date. I asked to speak to a manager to confirm this so I could cancel the collection with the other company and the adviser said he will get a manager to call with me to confirm. I never received a call or an email with a separate collection time. I called back the other company and said if they want me to bring a bed down which I will have to bring down in 3 or 4 separate parts they will have to come either after 1:30 which is my break or after 5 or between 8 and 9 am or on a Saturday or Sunday- giving more than enough options. The adviser said she will pass the information over to the driver to make sure they come at a time when im available to bring this bed down. Anyway, I got a call around 12pm saying I need to come downstairs with the parcels, I said I cannot at the moment as I am working and asked if they can please either just come up to my front door or please come back at 12:30 or 5pm as I cannot leave my laptop unattended for more than 2 minutes as my system will log me out or I can miss a call. The driver said we’re both working and in the time we were on the phone I could’ve brung the bed down because he won’t be coming back today, I said when can he come again and he said same time tomorrow, I again repeated I cannot do the same time tomorrow as I will be working again and he said he doesn’t care. He said I can leave the bed in the lobby before I start work at 9 and I asked what if the parts get stolen or the whole bed gets stolen and he said it’s not his problem. I then called customer services and they said they cannot specify a time when the man will come tomorrow and I then asked to speak to a manager. The manager Karen said if I leave the bed downstairs and parts get stolen then it’s my own risk and offered no further help and was very condescending and rude, she told me to ask a neighbour for help and when I asked what time the delivery driver will come exactly in case I did want to ask she said she doesn’t know- so Karen? Am I meant to just knock at a random time on a random neighbours while your rude drivers wait downstairs and scream down the phone to hurry up? Sure. Let me just knock on a new neighbours door til one opens up and offers help - but would your driver wait this whole time? She then said why can I not tell my work a bed is being collected and I then said well Karen what time should I tell them so they can sort cover for a department I only pick up phone calls for and again she couldn’t even give me a time. As you can see unless you live with someone who is by your side 24/7 and also does not work then the range will not collect your items. This is Karen from Comfy living btw. These delivery drivers don’t even know what packages they are picking up or collecting, the guy said come downstairs there’s 4 packages and I said are you sure because I’ve got a collection for 4 items to which he said no come down and I said no check your list. I was obviously correct. Also these drivers are so unprofessional, the driver I had today stayed on the phone for 10 minutes arguing with me. Every email has been ignored by the range customer services - just overall a company that makes you do all the work even when they’ve sent a completely wrong bed. Seriously watch out

Ordered from the range on 5th Nov. Today is the 24th & it still says processing! Customer service said delay of 7-10 days from order date, well that's been & gone. Disgusting that this company can take your money & continually fob you off. Xmas is approaching, I feel sorry for anyone looking to order for the occasion !!

I am giving this 5 star review not for the Range as a store but as a 5 star acknowledgement to a staff member who works in Dee Dees Café in store. I believe the member of staff I am mentioning is named Chloe. I have noticed how hard Chloe works over my years of visiting the store whilst sitting having my cuppa. Last Sunday 21/11/21 I sat and watched Chloe whilst sitting drinking my coffee . She was working incredibly hard serving so many customers sole handley! NO OTHER STAFF! to support her. Chloe remained calm, polite and professional under pressure. I noticed she was doing everything! cleaning , preparing ,serving, wiping tables aswell as directing customers in correct direction in store. ( All with a smile ). Dear manager of this store. I hope you acknowledge your wonderful staff member and treat her accordingly her service to your store is paramount. You have an absolute asset to your staff . Keep hold of her! Well done Chloe. ☺️

If I could rate this as zero I would. Ordered christmas items on 7th November due for delivery on 15th November. Still waiting for it. Order status says being processed. Customer service is none existent. They don't reply to any form of complaint. It seems alot of customers experiencing the same issues. Other customers stating the phone-line never gets answered, or when it does, you get some excuse and told to wait a few more days. Awful company. Would never use this store ever again!!!!

The aisles are too small. Hardly any room to move. The aisles need to be wider. More tills need to be open all at the same time, to prevent overly-long queues. I've noticed a certain pattern now, in a lot of big shops, where even though they have around eight tills, only three of them will be open. Is this some kind of wind-up? I don't think customers will appreciate this. Especially at very chaotic times of the year like christmas, black Friday, January sale's, etc. Some of the customers just seem like theyre only coming to The Range, to check out other customers and judge them. That is snobbery. All customers are entitled to buy whatever they want from here. No matter what they look like, or how old they are, etc. Such snobby people shopping here.

Next Day delivery turned up two days late, when my items arrived items were smashed due to poor packaging. I made two telephone calls, the first went dead while in a queue, the other was a lady who appeared just woken up from a nap and put phone down on me. Despite numerous emails with pictures attached of faulty items, no reply at all. I went into my bank and filled in few boxes for chargeback and they refunded my money from The Range. Check with your bank to see if its possible. Even if its not possible , the report will be on record.

order Number W15395031 Since my last review, I have had one person ask for photos (4th time of sending the same ones) one person say they will send parts (I have had refund promised me 4 times) and one person apologise again and say they will arrange collection... then a week later again back to square one asking for photos... APPAULING Please consider before buying anything online from The Range, hand on heart THE WORST experience I have ever had. I have a £120 light fitting that is missing parts. They have messed me around for months asking for the same photos over and over telling me they will collect and refund, so I bought another light and had it fitted, then telling me they will send the parts, then asking for the same photos again!! asking for phots of the box, I am literally going round and round in circles - I have called and tried to explain and one agent said to me 'why are you phoning me this isn't our problem' and put the phone down!! I have reported them to trading standards. They have no complaints line, and have put in writing that there is no complaints procedure. I am so surprised that they are able to get away with this appalling service.... and look, the standard reply, knowing fully well you can search by a customer name...

Ordered outside garden furniture with a fire pit and the rectangle table came with a square fire pit which doesnt fit in the rectangle try telling the range is intresting they sent another one which has the same issue and now fighting for my money back is a complete joke. The customer service are so daft its unreal I'll definitely be taking this to the ombudsman after waiting 8 month for the furniture and them taking the money upfront.. then trying to keep my money complete joke. DO NOT ORDERED FROM THE RANGE. Over £2000 of furniture and no money back... joke.

Awful all round my order was delivered to store on 4th Nov 21 no one bothered to message me that the item arrived which I was told would happen so chased it up myself after a couple of weeks only to be told that the store in Hemel Hempstead had received it but they couldn’t locate it whereabouts and to date have had no refund or replacement so my advice is if not in store don’t bother because their online service and customer service is awful at best

I used to enjoy shopping at The Range Portadown. However, over the past couple of years, I feel the staff quality has deteriorated tremendously. With a few notable exceptions, I find staff here at best offhand, at worst downright rude. Additionally, when queried about anything, I find them rxceptionally unhelpful and unknowledgeable. Like I say, there are exceptions, but pleasant competent syaff should NOT be the exception, they should be the tule! This is a shame, as this is a lovely store and should be a pleasure to shop in. Perhaps they should employ a few Polish staff, who could teach their young local colleagues the basics of customer service. And no, I'm NOT Polish myself - I'm Irish!
