Finally got through to customers services told I would be contacted regarding my request to return my order back and forward for days with emails now nothing no response from them wish I had read the reviews before ordering from The Range online NEVER AGAIN

Wanted to buy a table I saw in store. It was priced at £79.99. The young chap said it would have to be ordered in or I could have home delivery for £9.95 I chose to pick up in store. They STILL wanted £9.95 to have it delivered to the store!! What a joke! Lost a sale there.

Shocking - impossible to actually speak to anyone to chase up an order that they have failed to deliver! I have spent 1.5 hours on the 0345 number and just go back on hold - called head office they then transfered me back to the 0345 number - awaiting delivery now a week overdue!

Awful customer service, when my email confirmation arrived it showed an incorrect delivery address, I called to cancel the order to reorder for the correct address but was told that wouldn’t be necessary if I sent proof of my correct address, I did this and had another email confirming that when I had an email saying my furniture was on the way I just had to call and they would change the address with the courier. This I did today and I have now been told it was a mistake and the address cannot be changed so my order has been cancelled. I am now without garden furniture for a party we are due to have in 2 weeks as I have to wait 14 days to receive my refund so don’t have the money to buy from elsewhere.

DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE I purchased rattan garden furniture and a 3m parasol that includes the base from the range online. All items arrived in transit damaged. These issus where all reported straight away to the Range who was not able to assist further as they came from 2 different companies. The issues I had with the rattan furniture have been resolved promptly by the manufacturers itself. The issues I'm having with the parasol where from the RANGE PLUS. The parasol in unsatisfactory condition and unfit for purpose. The parasol was purchased for my Nan's 95th birthday so she could sit outside under the shade in the garden to celebrate her birthday with family and friends, whom she has not been able to see since the beginning of the 1st lockdown in March 2020. Despite numerous emails and attachments sent to the Range plus and living at home, There still is no replacement and no refund arranged. This has been ongoing now for over a week. They know why it was purchased and they are avoiding their legal obligations. I spent a large amount of money on these goods and as they are avoiding there legal responsibility, I will continue to take this matter further.

This review is for Southend-on-Sea branch, Paul the Young manager went out on a limb to solve an issue completely beyond the wits of customer nonservice who I don't actually have words for...not printable ones !! Thanks Paul...and ya buddy...didn't get his name .

Never again will I order from the range on line. Box so badly damaged I was frightened to look. Phoned customer service and hung on being passed back and forward for over an hour. None of them knew what to do. Was told to take everything out and check it not to worry about that. Now been told I have to wrap it back in original box to return it at my own cost. Impossible as box broke to bits and away in the skip. The customer service is so poor. When passing me back and forth I said you can’t pass me back again and was told ‘ yes I can’. Keep away from this company on line

I received my order of a double fryer on 7th April 22. The box was extremely damaged. I still opened hoping the fryer would be fine but even the form insets were broken aswell as the fryer. I called customer care 4 times in the following 3 days, i had been on hold for an hour plus still no answer. I emailed the email address, with photos of how i received the fryer.. Now 4 weeks on i have recieved an email offering a replacement OR a partial refund if i keep the piece of scrap metal!! Very disappointed.. Where is my full refund?! i certainly didnt order some scrap metal in the form of a fryer!! Wish me luck i have requested a full refund!!

I've shopped instore fairly often and the service was what should be expected. However, I've recently bought online and part of the order arrived damaged. After an extremely long wait, my call was answered and I was told to unpack the box (which was also damaged) take photo's of the said damage then repack it ready for collection. The item was a granite parasol base and I explained it couldn't be unpacked as it was in pieces and certainly wouldn't go back into a broken box. I was then told to take a photo of the box and send it to them. This I did immediately and am still waiting for a response, 9 days later. I will never shop online with the Range again.

Wish I could score zero, ordered from the range and the item was poor. Took weeks to get someone to pick it up. Now it's gone back and I'm still waiting on a refund. So I ring the rang, after holding for thirty minutes. A rude member of staff tells me, we don't deal with refunds. You need to email, I explained I have emailed multiple times and no one responds. He then hung up. Wow I will never order from the range again, disgusting how you treat customers and I still haven't received my refund

I ordered two sunbeds. I want to return. The Range do not answer the phone. When they eventually do answer, the accents of the representative are extremely difficult to understand and they read from a script. They say that the contract is with the "supplier" and they are unable to help with returns - yet they can't give any basic information either. Just horrendous. Never experienced anything like this.

Extremely poor customer service. Do not order on their site, especially as they sell for third parties state 1 thing on their site and the third party has different policies.

They take your money and then run away with it. I had ordered a garden set furniture that never arrived and they didn't reply to my emails or to the (fake) customer service number they put on their website. Scam company

Second time I ordered from them no parcel again can’t get hold of them I’ve sent emails and been ignored been in que for phone for nearly an hour and get cut off can someone help as I’m still paying for this and I don’t have them

Can’t get through on the phones despite receiving a £200 faulty ride on car. I get told to contact a number to obtain a refund despite a staff member saying initially because of the inconvenience to bring it to store to be told to go away. My sons birthday ruined because of your incompetence. It’s disgusting that you haven’t got a decent practice online and fob of your customers this way. 1 star is being generous, I would give this 0 if I could!

Pre ordered and paid for garden furniture told 2 week delivery this was beginning of April every week iv had a email push back the delivery we have now been told mid June. Don't order if u need items urgently thankfully I just wanted a garden update so can wait .

Ordered 2 sets of garden furniture online 4 weeks ago, paid fast delivery to make sure was with me for an event. One set had the wrong parts in and the other set had damaged parts. I rang the next morning to arrange a collection and spoke with a customer service agent who could barely understand English and was quite rude and wanted me to email photos of the damage to prove what I was saying. I straight away emailed the photos. I then proceeded to wait 5 days for an email back. This was after me emailing twice to complain that I was storing 2 very large garden furniture sets in my lounge! I received no apology just a date for collection finally. This date was then changed to yet another day. I have now waited nearly 14 days since it was collected and have had no correspondence from the Range regarding my refund? I have once again emailed to complain and received no reply!! This company online is beyond a joke, I have never had issues instore. I wish I had never ordered such large, expensive items from them as now I am chasing the refund and this is money which should be back in my bank not theirs. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER........AVOID!!!

Extremely poor service and staff disconnecting phone lines rather than have to provide solutions or customer service. I had six packages before I could get two items that were not damaged, all couriered and causing inconvenience and time to unpack boxes/check items and repack when damaged. Staff member became clearly irate on phone all when explaining the debacle and cut me off. No offer of compensation from customer service team after three weeks of mistakes and hassle, very poor company.
