I Have boycotted the Range in Andover Hants. Since working there as a Tenp. Treatment by Store Manager and management as a whole is abysmal. Attitude towards staff stinks

Yesterday visited Aberdeen store for a coffee. It was Costa coffee the best ,but they served it up in paper cups. There was a pile of lovely Costa cups,so WHY serve up in paper. It was just not the same!!

Where do i start. Ordered a floor mirror, was to arrive on or before 13/1, on 10/1 received a message from courier telling me on way that evening. I stayed in....no delivery. Called on 14/1 and all the woman kept saying was do you want to cancel it. I asked her to call courier, which she did but admitted yo hanging up when it said she was first in the queue because no one had answered, clearly she has never called anyone before as didn’t understand that meant she was next. Told it would arrive 13/1, no delivery, no update. Called on 13/1 told van broken so delivery would be 14/1 or 15/1 but would he contacted to tell me when. Calked on 14/1 to be told that it said delivery exception on system, but they hadnt tried yo deliver. Then told i would get a call 24/48 hours time to rearrange from courier. I cancelled order. Today i receive said mirror....broken of course. What a pathetic excuse for a company!

I visited the Range today to buy an Addis washing up bowl and a gro bag tray for the greenhouse. I found the trays in the garden dept. and as usual, the item was unpriced. I took item to the til and queued to get a price check. I then returned tray to the shelf as it was a cheaper online. I would like to point out that the pricing in your Penzance branch is ‘hit and miss’ at best and has been since the branch opened. Last summer I contacted you about my purchase of two wetsuits. They were wrongly priced at the display in two areas of the shop. At the til I was charged a higher price and despite showing the assistant the large, brightly coloured display ticket I was told that store policy was to ignore your own price labels. I had much the same response from your head office. I have avoided your store since but today decided enough time had passed and went on to purchase an Addis bowl. I was not surprised when, at the til I was charged more than the shelf ticket. I was told to visit customer service. I photographed the label on the shelf and showed it to a very helpful customer service lady (Megan). Again I was told store policy is to charge the higher price. I must admit I was annoyed and pointed out that this has happened to me before. I asked to see the manager who wasn’t in today and a call was put in to Megan’s supervisor. I was somewhat happier when it was agreed to refund the disputed amount. I write to you here to thank Megan for her patient help. I feel that ‘The Range’ really need to get their act together and sort out the lack of pricing generally and more importantly Get The Prices Right both on the tickets and at the point of sale. It is both frustrating and a waste of customers time to come up against this on every visit to your store. I would point out that this is hardly ever a problem elsewhere. It’s seemingly a ‘Range’ exclusive! I would welcome your thoughts on this matter. Do I win £200? Yours A R Pentreath

Return and Refund policy is ridiculous! I have been away and did not know that it was 30 days. I have been told by one of the customer team I can not do anything about it and have to keep an unwanted Item!

No customer service or rights whatsoever. Bought a microwave, with 10 days had intermittent problems with it cutting out. Took it back, the staff then proceeded to try it out at the Customer Services Desk, it worked that time so I was told its fine and I must be lying so no refund! So much for the guarantee / terms and conditions on their website. Shocking, even the Manager was condescending and rude. Never again will I shop there.

Having chosen a new kitchen waste bin and two bars of chocolate, I visited the upstairs cafe, this was unmanned so we stood and waited after 15 minutes I gave up. I took my purchases to the one till that was opened and she scanned the bin 24.99 ??? I explained the ladle clearly said £7.00 off the assistant called for item to be checked, back she came with the shelf label and said"it was 7.00 off but it went off offer on 11th December " 3 weeks ago? It was 3rd January! She then in front of me screwed the label up and threw it away. I then said she should sell it at the offer price as it was clearly your mistake and could not be blamed on passing children. As a pensioner £7, is a lot of money I then tried to pay for my chocolate again clearly labelled 2 for £1. £1.38 she said, no it's labelled £1.00 no once again offer had ended. She then went on to tell me the law regarding shelf labels. There were four people behind me all very impatient to be served saying this is disgusting way to treat a genuine customer. I'm afraid I called your complaint line and she said it would be at the stores disgression how it was dealt it! This is not fair, I checked the item and the label before taking my items to the till. I was forced to buy chocolate as your cafe was unattended! So I had to buy chocolate as I am diabetic, so I left the store with nothing. How dare you treat me so badly, I shop locally to try to help save our high street and can fully understand why people would shop on line. I will be interested in your reply. The store was colchester cowdry ave.

Amazingly, l received the 5 black picture frames, ordered before Christmas, in good order and my pictures look fabulous in them. The box packaging was ridiculous (pictures attached). The 5 frames were all close together in a box too large for my items, with some crunched up brown paper at one end only and they were rattling around in the box. The box arrived damaged and split. Someone was watching over this delivery or the delivery driver had packed his van very carefully. Thank you Amazed customer

Durham shop newly opened just before Christmas and I think there's a few things they need to iron out. More Disabled bays both sides of the door. Waited 20 minutes in the cafe (Costa) today, and walked out in disgust, in the end. Nowhere to put your trolley while your eating/drinking. At the checkout, I handed over a £20 note, but the till had NO change, so I had to pay by card. Come on The Range, get your act together.

I ordered a duvet cover online, I didn’t need to take it out of the packaging to see it wasn’t good quality, it was heavily creased and I knew I would never get the creases out. I phoned customer services to arrange sending it back by post which is not free, the person was very nippy, I then realised I was going to be in the vicinity of a Range store so decided to take it there, they couldn’t take it because store return had been blocked because I said I would post it back so I had no option but to post it, cost me £6 to do that, I wouldn’t shop there again, this was my first and last time.

Instantly assumed I was a thief! I am disgusted with this store. The loss adjuster (plain clothes security guard) followed me everywhere from the minute I walked in. I had no coat, shopping bags or handbag to conceal anything. Where on earth did he assume I was going to put anything? I had one of their trolleys and was outfitting an entire flat, I went elsewhere. Their loss. Never again.

Order was supposed to arrive on 9th December - didn't. Impossible to contact, finally got through to customer services after 30 min wait to be advised that they would investigate and e.mail back. No e.mail. Phoned again, another 25 minutes waiting on phone, finally resolved and order received on 17th December. Unfortunately item badly damaged ( a mirror which was broken in half and glass cracked. Now trying to sort out it's return and still waiting on phone to speak to customer services (25 minutes and counting). Will NEVER order on-line from the Range again.

I did not receive my delivery , tracking states I signed for which is a lie . I appreciate that this is not the fault of the Range but it is impossible to contact you. You do not answer the phone or social media . The online form goes directly into an email that is not monitored and now you monitor reviews . Appalling customer service
