I placed an order for a Christmas tree with the Range on 1st December; money was taken on 6th December and it's now the 16th and no order has arrived. Tried posting a message on their FB page which was instantly removed. Automated email says 4 days for a reply which leaves little chance to buy elsewhere if necessary. I won't be buying online from the Range again.

I placed an order for a Christmas tree through the Range's website on 1st December; they took the money on the 6th December 2021. I am still waiting and have received no communication apart from an automated response saying they will reply in 4 days. This doesn't give me much chance to buy a new christmas tree if necessary. I won't be buying from the Range online again. My FB posts on the Range's website are automatically removed.

Absolutely shocking service. Parcel was really delayed and when it arrived the parcel in such a bad condition and open. Items were missing and the ones that arrived were smashed! Contacted The Range, who did not offer any apologies or quick resolutions! Over a month later and still not resolved or refund sent! Outrageous!!!!!

Don't bother. My advice would be not to bother with this shop, their customer service is at best bad, a lot of their products are cheap chinese rubbish that you can get for half the price online & when it goes wrong they will say you misused it. Go to a better quality shop & buy a better quality product & get better customer service.

Purchased a 'Blush Pink Button Stool' which has a soft velour finish for my daughters bedroom. The good news it came in around a week, but it's all bad news after that. DHL delivered this morning but the box was soaking wet and consequently damaged. I thought it will be OK as the stool was bound to be inside a polythene bag...OOH so wrong....no packaging whatsoever. Hoping it will dry out as the cost to return it even if you can get to speak to the customer services and get an authorisation is nearly as much as the item. So beware, The Range warehouse despatching the orders take little or no care, DHL have obviously allowed the box to become soaking wet and still thought it OK to deliver and The Range customer services are notable by their absence!!! Obviously pictures were taken of the dreadful packaging and state of the soaking wet box, but I cannot find an email address for 'Customer (or lack of) Services' to send them to.... 10/12/20 - I have received a standard copy & paste reply from Wayne, but still no Customer Services email address so that I can send pictures of the disgusting state the wet box was in and the fact that the contents were not sealed in a polythene bag, just loose inside apart from a little brown paper packing, but I will give them a little longer. The good news is that the stool is drying out well. 10/12/20 - 13:09 Hrs. I have now received the email address for Customer Services (Lauren) and have sent them a collection of pictures showing the appalling state of the soaking wet box,,, I will keep you informed of any further action. 10/12/20 - 14:18 Hrs. Have now had a reply vowing to improve things for future orders but unable to further assist as the stool is not damaged only WET!!! which does not show up on a photograph, despite seeing the condition of the box that was received. I have since replied: Lauren No the stool, luckily is not damaged other than it been wet which is drying out pretty well. I still find it incredible that an order can be treated in the way this one was, poorly packaged by yourselves initially and then DHL treated it with utter contempt for the contents and were completely disrespectful of it being a Xmas present to go into my daughters newly redesigned bedroom. Obviously I am not very happy about your response and your inability to even refund the postage which was paid and one that I would have expected contractually to be of standard one would normally expect. I will of course continue to criticise your company and its response on the various points I raised and you will be pleased to know I will not complain again as I will no longer go into your Stoke branch and most certainly will never purchase anything from your online section. Worse store ever, received an email stating my dispatched would be delayed with no further information, waited over 40 mins on phone - gave up, after trying to get through again the next day over 30 mins later the customer service representative stated: "some people have been waiting an hour". I was told some of my order was not in stock -- even though the late dispatch email stated 'be assured the items have been allocated to you'. They cancelled those parts of the order. The next morning I received an email from DHL with 2 hours notice my order was being delivered -- needless to say I missed the email lucky I was in -- only to take delivery of 1 item from my order???? This time I had to wait 45 minutes to speak to someone to enquire where the rest of my order is, only to be told it was sent in 2 parcels but no one had informed me, now I won't be at home to take delivery of the the rest of my order, which had initially been ordered in plenty of time to come when I was on annual leave!!! My first experience with this company and it will be my last. I have sent them an official complaint and will update with their response to this as soon as I received one. If you plan on ordering read online feedback about the range before you place your ordering.

Shocking service! Ordered a table in store. Been 6 weeks and still no order received. Told by store to call head office who then informed me it was the store itself that would have to chase order. Store staff have not once called back to inform me of my order status and I have had to call multiple times now. Really shocking service. Will never order with them again.

What the hell is going on with this store!? Ordered Baubles, took money instantly, no email to confirm proof of order. Customer service - Ridiculous. No answer. DO NOT shop at The Range.

Ordered dining table arrived damaged email sent request new 1 also arrived damaged no 3rd chance given so far 3 emails sent being ignored re getting uplift of damaged goods requested refund also not happened nobody answers phone appalling company to deal with avoid at all costs!!!!!

Horrendous customer service from customer services online. (I would say almost non-existent) Never order online. Ordered bedroom furniture in high gloss white. One drawer had a fault with the lacquer - contacted customer service 7 times on hold over 20 mins each time - gave up in the end. Assembled furniture since the only issue was a drawer front -and completed customer service form with photos. I waited 6 days for any response. I was told they would not be replacing anything because it was assembled, yet unable to get through to customer service on numerous occasions. They kept calling it damage. I made it clear it was faulty and that I had rights under consumer goods act. Extremely rude advisor - pretty much cut me off, telling me that nobody in customer service or instore would be able to replace the drawer front. In the end I approached the store directly who were brilliant - they took one look at the drawer front, could easily see it was a lacquer fault and that I hadn't dented or damaged it and replaced the front with a new one.

Bought Non- Slip mats. Priced at £ 1/piece. At the till it rang £ 1.29. Queried with Customer Service, she showed me that despite the item having the same name on the shelf ticket and the product, the reference code was not the same. Said human error....ha ha. Now, they expect customers to read and check the bar code. I reminded her of the law, that if the price is written for a product, the store must sell it at that price. The reply was, it’s not law but our GOODWILL if we refund. Very rude approach. Written to their office., besides a SORRY as customary, a para from the reply “I would like to assure you that I have passed the points raised to our Senior Management Team at Head Office, where they will be investigated and the appropriate action taken - unfortunately, as this may involve an internal investigation, I would be unable to provide you with the outcome”. So, the customer does not know if any investigation is done or stops at the first secretary-level who replied. Very pathetic approach. A similar incident with my neighbour. Picked item priced on the shelf at £ 3.99, but at the till it rang £ 6.99. Seems like their business ethics and practices are very devious.

After one week of attempting to contact customer service, why bother when there is so much competition out there with retailers who value customers calls. There is no excuse for placing a potential customer on hold for 10-45 minutes without updating them. Or why else would one be ringing for their calls to be disregarded? Mine is an experience over almost a dozen calls until today when I decided never to try again...and thank God I wasn’t chasing a refund or order🤗

Paid£60 for a light fitting supposed to be delivered on 2nd December fair enough if they are going to be late text or email customers don't ignore them I paid £5 for delivery won't be ordering from them again

Ordered on 22nd November and still showing as processing, can't get through on the phone and can't cancel online asxits too late now. Shockingly bad customer service. Avoid at all costs.

Diabolical. Dont answer phone, email, tweets, facebook, online forms... dont deliver your orders... what they do do is take your money. Disgusting. At christmas time aswell. You should be ashamed.
