This is 3rd time in the Portadown branch that when I have visited that the price marked for items on the shelf is not actually the price when you get to the till. This particular store is notorious for this as I know of others that this has happened to. Manager called, no apologies given and I am told that it is The Range head office policy to just offer 10% off!!! They don't follow retail rules and sell the item at the price advertised on the shelf. SHOPPERS BEWARE!

Wallpaper ordered has been " cancelled" no explanation, no email and so far no refund. Wish I'd read the reviews first. Thought they were a reputable company. The wallpaper I ordered is still listed as available . . looking like a scam.

Unfortunately I am adding to the long list of unhappy customers and all down to poor customer service. Bought a matching retro set kettle toaster microwave last December. The microwave did not work from day 1 and was returned to the shop. We received a replacement and everything fine until a few weeks ago when second microwave just stopped working. Took it back. Advised it is no longer stocked and our only option to take the shop display we did however I am convinced it was our original as it also didn't work. Back to the Range. We had to pay £14 for a grey one. Obviously I was now with a set not matching. We were told to take photos and complain on line. No response, then given a number which once through were told it was for online only and to go back to the shop. Now, I accept my problem seems trivial but it really annoys me when I am ignored, passed from pillar to post and having to keep driving and paying for parking for something that was not my fault. Ideally I would like to swap my cream toaster and kettle for grey. They won't allow me to do this as they are not faulty. I would really like a full cream set but accept we did stupidly take the grey microwave. Eventually I emailed the CEO who passed my email on to an escalation team. They are beyond dismissive. I have now been offered £14 the difference between the 2 microwaves. To buy a new kettle and toaster would be £65. If I had had the items for years I accept wear and tear would mean one might go before another however, its not been a year and we are on our 4th microwave so just because of the shear inconvenience you would expect a little compassion. They are pretty much saying tough luck. This company has zero customer service. They really do not care. Our shop is based in town with returns desk upstairs too so they make it as difficult as they can it seems. They really miss the basics, an apology, showing they care, trying to find a mutual solution, holding their hands up. However it seems that they have far too many problems to deal with and forget that people can and will go elsewhere. Go use other companies and avoid the Range for anything.

The assistant was extremely helpful however everything I wanted was from the range plus and would not be delivered to the Isle of Wight so I have spent my £800 elsewhere on the island where this wasn’t a problem for them to get it here without a huge charge

Paid £225 for a wardrobe that was delivered to my communal area rather than the flat number I provided and subsequently stolen. Haven't heard from them since I last emailed them a few days ago I am absolutely furious, this was a treat after a bad few months and I now have no money, no wardrobe and no communication. I will be going to the Ombudsman if this isn't rectified by tomorrow. Disgusting service

Warning to everybody who purchases an item on line from the range, DO NOT ORDER. Bought a rug 6 weeks ago, sent back as was not suitable and it has been over a month and still waiting for refund, everytime you call you are fobbed off, now seeking legal advice on the matter

Ordered 4 cushions which are not like the colour on the website, a lot darker. I have spent hours waiting for customer services to answer only to be told, when I did eventually get to speak to someone, that they would pass me to another department then nothing. I need to get in touch to arrange a collection but just don’t know how. I will definitely never buy from the Range again.

To whom it may concern, I placed an order on the 12th sept for two items, Florence ottoman storage bed for £250 and a three seater sofa. I paid £9.99 to have the items delivered on time within 10 working days. I received the sofa in 11 working days which is fine. However I received a email previously to this stating there is a delay and be rest assured the stock has been allocated to me. I never received the bed till date. Since the 19th September I had been contacting your customer service centre which are awful! I was cut off by majority of the team, all with foreign names, one being Mario. I was kept on hold for 20mins whilst he looked into the order only to be told the same thing of “ the warehouse have been informed and we will get back to you” nobody got back to me. Called again, only to be told the same thing. I then called after a week hoping I’d receive the bed, another two weeks had gone by still no bed. Called again, put on hold, the person returned back to the call but put his side of the line on silent for 22mins. I had to cut off and call back. I had a 1 year old child that needed attending to who was crying and getting frustrated. After I called again I was put to retention team. They said the warehouse have shifted the item to another warehouse and I will received the bed and also I would be compensated after I have received the item. Only just this weekend gone, I receive an email saying they don’t have the item!! This is the worst customer service I’ve experience, especially from a big branded company like yourself, I am very upset and frustrated. Absolutely appalling! So much of my time and emotions wasted chasing yourselves. I would like to be credited with a voucher for the experience and time wasted with RANGE!

Don't buy from the range I placed an order for 2 of these lights 3/10/2022. 2 days later I received an email saying ' they are not in stock and my order has been cancelled. Its now 8th Oct and I still haven't received any refund, YET THEY ARE STILL SELLING THEM FOR HOME DELIVERY!!!If you haven't got it don't take people's money!!! I will never purchase anything from the Range again.Absolutely disgusting taking money from people for goods you don't have.

DO NOT ORDER for home delivery!!! The Range do not deliver when they say! They use a delivery company that you cannot contact and who doesn’t know the meaning of communication. When you complain to the range they completely ignore you. When you advise them you won’t be home for the day they decide to deliver, again they ignore you. Shocking customer service, will never order from them again.

BEWARE NEVER USE THIS ONLINE SERVICE!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely diabolical service. Ordered a bed and mattress. The day after delivery I got an email saying due to high demand it has been delayed. A week of trying to sort it out I was told its not in stock with no estimated delivery date. 😡The company then cancelled the order and issued a 7day refund and we had to place a new order. So fundamentally paying twice. Customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. BEWARE IF THEY CANCEL YOUR ORDER THEY WILL NOT ENTERTAIN A COMPLAINT. Also no complaints procedure hmmm daylight robbery

I ordered a treadmill from The Range, it was an item from one of their "trusted partners". The item arrived late and no tracking number was provided so knowing when to take time off work to receive it was a nightmare. The Range cited the "trusted partner" issue when I queried lack of dispatch information. The item arrived in a box so filthy I can't have it in my house and it stays in the porch (black muck and bird poo). I took the item out and it is covered in deep scratches on what should be a new LED touch screen (that had no protective cover on). Despite the obvious damage I set it up to see how the equipment functioned and it wouldn't even switch on. This was only the start of the nightmare. The range only accepts contact by message in these circumstances so I messaged with photographs and was told to wait 4 days for a response. The "trusted partner" has since avoided my requests to collect the treadmill and issue a refund, it is still sat in my porch and I'm out of pocket. They offered to replace the treadmill with a "cat litter box" so they don't even care to review my complaint properly. I asked the Range to intervene properly by telephone and they said it is between me and the supplier, despite me ordering from their website, my payment went to the Range and the experience being in direct contradiction to the Ts & Cs of sale. I am anticipating needing to raise a formal dispute via the Ombudsman and my bank because they are beyond incompetent and have shown no customer care. In a cost of living crisis, to withhold nearly £300 from customers and send broken items is beyond bad. I'll never order from them again and have circulated my experience on social media to advise everyone else to avoid this retailer at all costs.

ordered a bed online, arrived late, with wrong and missing parts. Been six weeks now after no end of phone calls and emails and got absolutely no where with an exchange. At my wits end now and what to do as my 10 year old is without a bed and can't get another one from elsewhere as all my money went on this bed . £249 bed no good. Customer services are a waste of space. All I'm getting is we're waiting on supplier. I'm just asking for an exchange. Can't be that hard to do.

Ordered a gate through the range (the range plus) which is meant to be hassle free but trying to return a gate which was poor quality and damaged was the single worst experience returning anything in my life. I asked to return it the emailed back 10% discount, no, emailed back 20% discount, no, this time 30% discount so I can go and buy spray paint to paint it myself. And even after that to get confirmation that I would be collected on said date... Still nothing back. I may buy stuff in store but never again online in fear it's not from the range and from the range plus. Absolute embarrassment customer service, and when they didn't email me back for several days they blamed it on short staff, no apology just excuses. I've never left a review re bad experience but this one really got me.

I am trying to return an item and waiting for them to get back to me 5 days so far.Would never shop there again I have never heard so much rubbish about returning an item. I feel if you bought through them and paid them the money they should do the return. Trading standards need to look at hiw they work,would not be bad if they got back to you and dealt with it.

Wanting to avoid a wasted journey, I called the Torquay branch to ask about the availability of a product. I was told it was available. I couldn't find it once there, asked someone on that department who had no idea. I then went to the customer service counter and after waiting for ages was told that the product wasn't in stock ! No smiles or apologies. Very annoying !

Scored a 1* because 0* sent allowed. Bought a garden parasol which had two holes in it. Eventually got a replacement agreed, when that eventually arrived it was worse then the first one. Finally today they have collected the whole thing, I guess now I have to fight to get a refund🙄 Customer service is simply shocking, the worst I have ever encountered. It’s hard to tell if it’s incompetence or if they are just deliberately disingenuous

I have been using the local shop for years and the price value ratio on most goods has been ok. Recently I have noticed that a lot of the goods don't display a price and those that do are more expensive than shown when they go through the till at check out.. On each of the last three visits I have queried this; the latest being today when 3 of the 5 kitchen cleaning items I wanted were: £2:26, £1.49 & 74p more expensive than that displayed on the shelf. Today I was unconvincingly told prices had gone up and they hadn't got round to updating the prices displayed. Surely they should sell at the price displayed, but no, it was a matter of take it at the till price or leave it. Needless to say I chose the latter. Also may I point out that when items are scanned at the till the customer cannot see the price being rung through. Just be wary, especially of the smaller items. Very disappointing..
