I will be using the competitors from now on. Ordered December 31st. Received confirmation. Order was supposedly sent to USPS, but USPS never received the package. Finally shipped 1/11/21. I still I have received my order. Sent email 1/8/21 to ask when the order would ship, no response. This is the 2nd time I have placed an order. 1st time great service, this time if I could get them a -10 I would. Do not use this company.

The "Humidor Instruction Manual" that came with my humidor states, "Follow these simple steps to insure that the analog hygrometer included with your humidor is working properly". As I did not receive a hygrometer, I called Thompson Cigar. After holding forever, I was told that the humidifier was the hygrometer. There is no digital readout to calibrate on the humidifier. I called the company again and had to hold on again forever only to be told that my order did not come with a hygrometer. I asked why it states twice in the instruction manual that it is included. I was told that I was not supposed to get a hygrometer with my order. I explained that this was false advertising and the customer representative said, "Yes, mam". He also told me to purchase a hygrometer myself. I'm disappointed and questioning myself if I should return the whole thing. Poor me.

I took the time to send a concern to Thompson’s Customer Care unit and did not receive a response or acknowledgement. It has been 4 days. Apparently there is no active customer care function. That is not acceptable to me. I will simply buy from their competition.

On December 1st, I placed an order for a box of cigars with a gist set. I did receive confirmation for my order so I called a week later and was told that the item was on backorder, but would arrive before Christmas. On 12/14, I was unsure that the item would arrive in time so I called to cancel. Again, I did not receive confirmation. On 12/18, my card was charged for the purchase that I cancelled. I initiated an online chat and was told that the order was not cancelled, but I could send it back when I received it. The representative sent me a return label. On 12/24, the item showed as delivered on the tracking, however, I did not receive it. I called to report this and was told that I would have to wait until 12/31 to file a missing package report. On 12.31, I still had not received my package and called to request a refund. The representative specifically asked if I wanted a refund or a credit and I stated refund. She stated that the request was complete and I'd get a refund to the original form of payment in 3-7 days. On 1/8, I still had not received the refund, so I initiated a chat again and was told that the refund was processed as a credit and would have to be sent as a check, that I would get in 2-3 weeks! I don't know that I am ever going to get a refund, I don't believe the item was ever shipped and I think this is a scam website.

I placed a large order on December 26 and paid for 2 day business delivery. That would have made delivery date on December 29th. when i made the purchase the product was "in stock". Today is January 6th and i not have the order and my order tracking says it will be January 9th. I sent an email to customer service and never got a response. I called today and spent a half hour on the phone with customer service and she had extreme difficulty finding my order due to repeated errors on her part entering my phone number. No supervisor was available to respond to my concerns and it would be 24-48 hours before i heard from a supervisor. It has been the worst customer service experience i have ever had. This will be my last order with Thompson Cigar.

Thompson cigar cound not verify my age at 51 years old with an easy to proove and verify profile. Also stated after canceling order they would not delete accout meaining the hold their customers Private information to include credit card information. If you care about the security of your information I would highly recommend using a coplany they manages this both in an ethical and legal way

It's New Years day,..I am out of cigars.I called ,..no answer.Go to the website. Try to order Avanti Anisette, 3 boxes of 50. It would only let me order 1.I ordered none.What a fucked up website!!!

Only gave a 1 star since negative stars were not available, if I had also known of how dishonest this company is I would have not ordered from them as well. Placed an order for Bandido cigars supposed to be "free shipping" I was charged shipping for this order, although I tried to cancel thru PayPal. Placed 2nd order less shipping cost, when I looked on line the 2 orders of cigars I placed were on sale for less than both orders. Chatted with customer service and asked if they would issue the credit for $29.00 I would stay with both orders. Customer service declined and instead sent me UPS return labels. Items returned and received on 23 Dec. today I am told the items were received but will take some 22 days for a refund. Totally unacceptable will call the BBB and never buy nor recommend anyone to buy from them!!!

Ordered Cigars on December 15th for Christmas presents. Were due today 12/23. I received a confirmation for the order. Just to be safe, I called today 12/23 and was told that my order had disappeared, computer glitch. Now I have to do last minute scurrying around to get other presents. Will never order anything from this company again. Garbage company and customer service. One star is one too many!!!!

Ordered cigars four months ago they were on back order which is fine, saw that they were back in stock but didnt ship, I called the company and they said they would ship right away. Checked shipment status a week later it had been canceled. Now they are on back order again. Absolutely unacceptable. Worst customer service ever.

I wish I had read the reviews. They sent me age verification stuff for 3 weeks. I have finally cancelled the order and hope they actually do that. DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!! One of the very worst experiences ever. If I could giv no stars I would.

They are having false adds, promoting deals when the cigars are on back order. I placed 2 orders of Acid cigars for gifts and waited. After not receiving any I contacted support and the answer was oh they are back order still, even the new magazines and on line site states that they can be order. TIME to Switch to a better distributor.

I have been trying to get a refund from a missing order for months. After numerous phone calls and emails with customer service they continue to promise the “check is in the mail”. Don’t buy from these people, total crooks!

Order cigars on Dec 1st, they sent me through an age verification...twice. Now they are saying that the cigars are in route (ups tracking shows a Nov 27 delivery, hadn't order then). Customer service just told me that if they are not here in 9 days they will do another order at no cost. So apparently it takes close to a month to receive and order from here. I am disappointed as I convinced my friend to order from this place...sad. In addition, the rep would not put a supervisor on the phone.

After trying to order cigars for 2 days their website does not work properly I'm not wasting any more time. Tried to use PayPal 3 times, did not work. Thank God I wasn't charged on PayPal

I have been ordering cigars from Thompson fo years. I received an email from the age verification department. They wanted a copy of a government issued ID, or copy of my drivers license. I called because who in their right mind would do that?? I was calling the Philippines. I won’t order from some lousy company outsources their business to another company. Buy American. How dare they ask for my private information. Shame on Thompson Cigar.

I recently ordered 4, five packs during their 5 pack frenzy deal. The Olivia's, and Alec Bradley's were nice. The Gurka's, and the Cristoff's were hard as rocks, I could pound nails with these things. Expedited shipping took two weeks and they were not sent with any humidity packs to help keep them stay alive. Most other online sellers send packets! I am now trying to bring them back from the dead in my humidor. I know I didn't pay a lot for them, so that's fortunate. But, what's unfortunate is after a couple of days of placing this order I placed another order as a gift for a friend that costed quite bit more. If I had have waited to see how bad the first shipment came to me, I probably would not have placed the second order. Now I'm stressed out, waiting for an order that should hopefully be hear soon. I really hope I don't turn out to be the idiot I feel like! Thanks, THOMPSONS,

Wish I had read all of these Reviews before placing a $200 order and paying extra for expedited shipping. When I called them on the day that I was supposed to be receiving my order after paying the expedited shipping the customer service agent checked on the order and said that it had not even been gathered or shipped yet. This is very consistent with all the other reviews that I read here that says their fulfillment and ordering process is terrible. I agree and, despite the good online selection and prices, I will not order from this company again.

Placed my first order for 2 Jetline lighters, order was delayed more than a week. I called, they said my new account was under review. What kind of review is needed to purchase lighters? Cancelled order! Placed order with Jetline directly, order had tracking info within 8 minutes. Expected arrival in 3 days. Customer service at Thompson Cigar is very poor, staff needs training. I won't purchase there again, advise others not to as well.
