“If I could give the no stars I would. Travel Up are an absolute disgrace. I have waited over 88-days for a refund from this company. TU sent me an e-mail on the 06/02/2020 stating that I was entitled to a 'full refund' which I would receive within 6-8 weeks. I am still waiting for the refund. Many, many people have been scammed by this company in the last 4-months.”

I booked a return trip to Geneva for early April through Travelup with British Airways that was cancelled by the Airline due to grounding their flights because of COVID 19.
I have tried to speak with Travelup, sent several e-mails that were ignored and then used their recommended enquiry form twice to no avail.
I reached out separately to BA who were very responsive and sympathetic and who informed me they have refunded my ticket but this had to go to Travelup.
Since then and a further enquiry form calling this out there is still no communication from them apart from the generic FAQ e-mail which appears to be trying to discourage applying for refund via my credit card who I also spoke with and was advised they can pursue the refund if I wish two weeks after the flights if Travelup still have not responded.
Screwing your customers during this crisis is not a long term sustainable business model especially when we know the airlines gave our money back to you!
Being a UK company based in Berkshire means you can't hide so don't be surprised once the lockdown is revoked when angry customers turn up to expose your lack of business ethics.
Do the right thing and pass on the refunds!”
“Not happy with this company. Having booked flights which are cancelled due to the current situation, Travel Up are refusing to fully refund the cost of the flights. In fact they are trying to reduce the amount refunded by £200 and saying that the refund will not be paid for 7-10 weeks. This is an absolute disgrace. I have used this company before and thought they were reputable. Clearly they are not interested in their customers, despite British Airways offering full refunds and vouchers on their website. Having not accepted their unreasonable request, they are now not responding to my emails. I would not recommend using them, plenty more companies out there who are doing the right thing.”
“This is disgusting. Phone lines shut down, from the reviews below my experience isn't unusual. I have sent multiple emails, filled out two online enquiries as requested, cannot call as phone lines are shut down (tried many times, some phone lines you need to pay 10p/min for!) Feel like I have been robbed. No acknowledgement of the 240 pounds of mine they have. My flight has come and gone and I've been trying for weeks to cancel or change. TravelUP has handled this terribly.”

“Due to the Corona virus we recently had to cancel our trip to Monterey due to our physicians advise and government issued travel restrictions regarding non-essential travel. As you guys are aware the Corona virus was something that none of us expected.
Most major Hotel and airline chains made adjustments to their individual booking policies to give their clients extra peace of mind during this period. They waived change fees and offered full refunds on all reservations even those described as Non-Cancellable. Travel Up did not refund any of our fees despite the unexpected events. In addition I tried calling on several occasions to speak with a representative and did not get a live person. Very unprofessional. I do not recommend using this site.”

“AirChina flights booked with Travelup. AirChina issued guidance following coronavirus outbreak that we could apply for a full refund (no penalties etc.) but that this had to be done by the travel agent. Travelup confirmed they had applied for the refund and it would take 6-8 weeks. 8 weeks later and still no refund received! Now they are not responding to any communication from me! I realise this is a stressful time for everyone but absolutely shocking customer service from Travelup. Will never book with them again.”

“Booked with them and despite this pandemic they have not resolved our claim issue.
My sister in law booked and they have come back saying they will give us some of the money back. A partial refund.
They refuse to refund us the full amount and are blaming qatar airways. However someone else who booked the exact same flight as us got a full refund. This was despite the flight being non refundable as the pandemic is not a usual situation. The service has been poor and so far no closer to getting our money back.
When things go back to normal do not use this company.”

“never have i come accross such a more disgusting travel company theyre out to con. had booked flights with them but due to covid19 they were cancelled. airline stated that we could rebook flights free of charge but company wanted to charge and extra £136 reboooking fee!!!!!! when they waived that they decided they wanted to charge £178 per passenger for an a piece of luggage. airline only charge $48!! be warned about this company. have written to their CEO but have heard nothing. am now seeking legal advice DO NOT USE”
