Today was the first time I used Uber Eats for groceries. One orange was rotten. It took more searching to find a link than Door Dash or Instacart which are super easy. I had to chat and the wait was meant to be less than five minutes. Already frustrating compared to Door Dash. I considered not bothering, but I kept on. Big mistake. It took about 40 minutes to be connected. I’d already given up and happened to see they’d responded. They wanted a photo of the orange. I had already thrown it outside for the critters and it was now dark. I couldn’t provide a photo (seriously they wanted a photo of one rotten orange). Door Dash is excellent if this ever happens. Save yourself aggro and use DD. UE’s customer service is TERRIBLE!!

Garbage app and customer service they will take no accountability if your food doesn’t get delivered or it’s wrong. They’re too cheap to refund. Don’t waste your money or time. I recommend Grubhub or DoorDash. They’re not so poor to the point where they won’t even guarantee delivery. Uber is a sad poor waste of tine

We ordered and paid on 29th January 2024. Money went out. We got a delivery but only of 9 items instead of the 30 items we paid for. We made a complaint through their app, listing all the items missing. 24 hours later, no reply, no delivery. It seems many people having a similar experience, is uber eats a scam?

My uber eats driver decided to come to door didn't knock put my food down took a picture picked my food back and took it with him and claims he tried to knock haha i have all this on cctv!! If you live around breightmet and order from KFC and the uber driver called YUI MAN is delivering good luck cos you will proba not get your food!! I'm disgusted!! Only ordered cos my daughters poorly and didn't want to take her out in the cold!! Fuming!!

Placed order 10pm, courrier cancelled the order at 11pm, was told on the app to wait 3 to 5 days to be refunded, no refund. Called to discuss with uber eats and they told me i will not be receiving a refund because i've called later than 48 hours after placing my order. Scam service avoid. You will not receieve your food and wont receive a refund.

The worst of all the food apps. Drivers never show up, customer service is by far the worst, and it is clear they are just hitting automated responses no matter what the issue. Most of time they just disconnect what appears to be intentionally. I had a rep naned Irma and was just fustrating experience. WARNING, use any other app but uber eats.

Uber Eats doesn't refund any expired product delivered to their clients. I received an expired basket of strawberries from Super C delivered by Uber Eats. I called their customer service about this expired product and they told me to check with Super C and they will not do any refund. Responsibility goes to the delivery person who chose the product on the shelf. How easy was it to get a refund? Never got it.

I had an issue with payment on 1/21/24 and have been in contact with them till today 1/28/24 and have not been able to solve this issue. I had been using uber eats fine prior to this. I have tired multiple payment methods, deleting previous payment methods, reentering them. Logging in and out on different computers/phones, checking my settings in the app and the computer and there is no consistency, I have no way to pay it on the desktop as it does not show any money owed. Nothing is working. I have sent screen shots of the app and my computer to show the inconsistencies and they have not been able to find the problem and keep on sending the same messages. I am done it is obvious they are not sure what the issue is and since I have done everything in my power to get this settled, I will no longer be entertaining this issue. I have tried all of my cards and keep getting the same error (change your payment method). I told UberEATS I have tried to resolve this for 2-3 days messaging them working on the app and on my computer on my free time to get this settled I want this paid but I am not going to waste any more time on this stupid issue I find the apps problem. I have sent screen shots of the app and my computer to show the inconsistencies and they have not been able to find the problem and keep on sending the same messages. I am done it is obvious they are not sure what the issue is and since I have done everything in my power to get this settled, I will no longer be entertaining this issue.

I was a driver and with the enormous fees they charge customers they have the audacity to offer drivers $2.50 to deliver an order. Most people don’t tip because they charge exorbitant fees. It’s hard for a driver to see the exact breakdown but you give a driver $1.50 base charge to deliver someone’s food, and no driver will take that order which is why customers wind up, waiting forever and get cold food

Biggest idiots I ever dealt w, got a hundred dollars in food, the idiot driver dropped it off somewhere else, worst off all they don't refund you right away now I have no damn money to eat tonight, I feel like sueing these crooks ,

The Customer service system they have is horrible. You don't have a phone number to talk with a real agent. Be aware of the returns... they have a policy that if you pass the 48 hours of the time you bought your item they don't refund you Anything. And it is no 2 days after... It is 48 HOURS!!! I returned to the store the item and I didn't know about that policy... and because I am a Loyal and valued client they screw me... They got my money and I got no money refunded and no item. A real steal!!!

Texts from both uber and delivery driver to say food is arriving and to meet at door…..no driver. Then have to wait 15 days for a refund. When they do bother to actually deliver the food is cold and drinks spilled out everywhere. Thought I’d give them benefit of the doubt. Never again.

Awful service. Avoid at all cost. Opt for just eat. Ubereats is not worth it. They have refused to refund me and claimed my order was delivered when I haven't received it.

I had a terrible experience with Uber Eats. Initially, they held £17.94 on January 25, 2024 for the order I placed, it did match the checkout and what I ordered. Some products were missing in the order, which is common case with Uber, it's useless and can't provide actual information on the availability, bug it says that it will be recalculated. Then on the next day it has been reverted. However, the relief was short-lived. Then, to add insult to injury, I was charged for £23.76 on January 26, 2024, without any justification. The situation feels like a scam, and I'm left extremely dissatisfied and out of pocket. I demand a full refund for the erroneous charge on my card and an explanation. The service has been appalling, and action must be taken to rectify this issue immediately. The support is useless, that are basically can not even understand what happened and keep saying that the initial payment was reverted and there is no issue. Uber eats is absolute nonsense and scam!

Would give 0 stars if I could. In the past when I didn't receive food that I ordered and paid for I would let them know and they would reimburse me. The last 2 times they simply said they'd review it AND THEN THEY NEVER RESPONDED. TWICE. It's a very cowardly way to run your business. Then when I contact support they refused to give a reason I was not being reimbursed until I demanded a phone call from a manager and they then told me that I had reported too many missing items and would no longer be eligible for reimbursement. How on earth am I being penalized for a product I paid for NOT being delivered? I understand that the restaurant is responsible, but they have a contract with that restaurant and choose to partner with them.. if youre not going to stand behind your product and the restaurants you partner with then get out of the business. Their "support team" sent me multiple duplicate messages, proving I wasn't even talking to a human. Again, cowardly and pathetic customer service. I have since deleted my account and will never use uber or uber eats again. LYFT and Door Dash have yet to disappoint me and uber still owes me money for undelivered services. Goodbye and good riddance
