I purchased a Samsung tablet, after three days it stopped working ( no power, wouldn’t charge) I arranged a return to be collected at the local post office. I tracked and they took delivery on the 4th September, I contacted Very on the app which informed me it takes 3-4 days to update my account, eventually when nothing was updated I rang customer service explained a payment was due but asked them to delay as the item had been returned and I wasn’t purchasing anything else, but was told I must pay a minimum amount otherwise I would have to pay a penalty and if and when it was clear I could ask for a refund, I explained I found that ridiculous and that according to their site it takes ten days to update my account, but it’s still not be done, so now they’re in debt to me when they eventually update my account. I have been a customer for a long while but will never purchase anything again. Lady on customer service hung up on me and I can’t now get in contact with Very.

Cannot contact anyone too find out if you have to pay interest on a buy now pay later item over 12 months if you pay full amount before the 12 months is up

It would be nice to speak with someone based in the UK when you call customer services. You can’t understand what they are saying to you

Ordered a dell PC monitor received a SanDisk micro sd card,as a new customer and my first order very angry,spoke to customer care absaulty useless can't send the right item out have to send item back first then reorder,how can u make that mistake there's a big difference between a PC monitor and micro sd card come on very sort it out items should be checked before they go out,won't be using this company again 😡

Ordered a laptop, used a debit card, transaction was approved but denied the next day yet the funds are still stuck in 'authorisation' mode so I can't take my business elsewhere. Thanks for ruining my plans for my husband's birthday!

Was given credit of 250..ordered items for an emergency,next day was cancelled and account closed for nothing no reason no explanation..I have good credit and was approved and took alot of time choosing items..they were needed after a flood a hoover and bedding shocking to do that to people ,said would be here today lies was cancelled with no explanation and account closed down and customer services wow how rude

Yet again I have received the usual note at the bottom of my Trustpilot review asking for me to respond with my details in order to give them a CHANCE to put things right 🤣😂. How many chances do they need? - They've already had 5 MONTHS WORTH OF CHANCES! I've given their customer service representative my details over and over again - in order for them to do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Please don't look at the comments at the bottom of people's Trustpilot reviews and think that they'll actually be doing something - IT'S JUST WORDS - totally detached from an  intention to act.  Either Very has a robot to spew out inane promises or it employs people to sit all day in front of computers blocking and pasting a series of meaningless comments - if it's the latter case then they must have the worst jobs as far as job satisfaction is concerned.  In between times they possibly fill their time making up 5 star reviews for the company as I can't imagine anyone being so used to such poor service as to imagine Very could possibly warrant more than 1 star - minus stars in my opinion.  All this is because I want to close my account and they won't let me - in the UK we have RIGHTS - a concept they are unable to grasp.

Please avoid this company! I placed an order on the 15th Auagust with an expected delivery on the 21st. Without warning this was then changed to the 27th and it was then that I made my first attempt to cancel the order Since then the delivery date has changed to the 1st September and 3rd September and now the 10th September when I expect the date will be moved again. I have now submitted no less than 16 cancellation requests online (all resulting in an email receipt from Very) and made 3 phone calls to Very and on each occasion they have absolutely failed to act upon my cancellation request. Their excuse is that they need their supplier to confirm acceptance of my request. I did not enter in any agreement with their supplier so I refuse to accept that this is a reason for my rights under the distance selling regulations to be ignored. I have now resorted to raising a claim with my credit card company as today, during my 3rd phone call to them, I was informed by a lady calling herself Sinazo, that my order had been cancelled and I would receive an email to confirm. No email arrived so I called back (4th call to them) to be told I needed to wait 72 hours for their supplier to confirm acceptance of the cancellation.

Ordered a new washer and also paid for my old washer to be taken away. Was assured twice that the washer would arrive on my day off. Woke up to an email saying my washer would arrive a day late when I'm working! Customer services state its out of their control, offered a delivery refund and £20 compensation by cheque that could take up to a month to arrive. Had to reschedule a delivery and reorganise a birthday lunch so I can sit at home and wait for the washer. I'll be deleting the account once my item finally arrives. Absolutely shocking organisation!

I have asked for a return collection, to pick up an artificial plant, 5 times now, no yodel pick up, absolutely disgusting, everyday I am asking them to collect but they don't. Very when are you actually picking this up, whats the point of arranging collection, and yodel DOES NOT COME..... Please advise. I want to return this item, each day I request it and get an email confirming this, nobody comes. this is absolutely ridiculous< I have put a complaint in to your company, no one has responded as yet, today is day 6, for collection, so far no one has turned up. I have never had this happen before. Kindly advise??????

Would give less than 1 star if I could. Cancelled my order for no reason and closed my account.. Absolutely no reason given when I called up. I paid on a debit card and order was to my home address. Never again.

Was sent a promotion offer where you need to spend over £100 to claim £30 credit.You then receive a email that 2 of the products are out of stock & no longer available.So you do not get credit??

I wanted to close my account but couldn't do this on line and had to go through customer services (!!)and after waiting 10 mins, lost count of how many options I had to go through before I actually spoke to a real person. They then said 1 would have to wait 14, yes 14 working days, to receive a letter of confirmation. Strange how what would be a generated letter should take so long, perhaps the pigeon is writing it as well as delivering it!!!

Please think before u order after plec in order tek mony frome ur account and after 1 hors they been cancelled order and then wen i ring to ask them y my order been cancelled then they saying we can't tell u y is bee cancelled they don't hav valid region to tell

Due to Very employee I spoke to today I will no longer shop from this company. Absolutely disgusted is an understatement… I’m pretty sure Very will continue to lose customers because of arrogant employees

All fine till something goes wrong, so annoying, so frustrating spent so long on hold to find out "No we can't replace the damaged goods received, phone the manufacturer" so they take your money but don't want to know after that. Even gave me the wrong info to pass onto the manufacturer so after another long long long wait on hold the manufacturer says "I'm sorry but we can't do anything with this reference no." grrrrrrrrr, what pathetic customer service, just to be clear the people on the end of the phone are fine it's the company policy makers that need to be dealt with....
