Received fake perfume on vinted, no way I could get hold of vinted customer service. As I only have 48 hours to confirm everything was ok. Paid for the return postage, seller received the items. Shortly after I've received a massage that order completed. My money has gone. £107.75 Vinted said the money gone to seller's account and we can't do anything about it. They are scammers and they support scammers. Please stay away from vinted specially if its a high value. The sellers user ID is nicolajane122 Advertising the account for raising money for someone with special needs

You will be answered time and again by a bot. Instead of letting a human review carefully issues, they just assume some very general and vague guidelines will serve all. You'll lose more money selling there, than actually eatning, Precious items I personally curated for years got lost with no compensation.

Vinted policy emboldens scam sellers to keep scamming! A year ago it was rare to be sold something significantly not as described on Vinted, now it is becoming more the norm. I believe the reason is that Vinted actually offer nothing in the way of buyer protection, despite the fact that they charge a mandatory buyers protection fee on every transaction. The buyer pays the cost of return shipping when disingenuously sold something damaged or counterfeit by a scammer. Scam sellers know this buy now, and are offloading all sorts of rubbish, claiming it to be new, even reattaching tags on pieces full of holes and opting to take photos at angles that do not show the damage for their listings! Paying £3+ on return postage is costly for an item that was say £2-£3 in the first place, and scam sellers rely on buyers putting up with it. Vinted meanwhile simply refer the matter to the seller...the fraudulent seller decides for themselves if they have been dishonest! Hello Mrs Thief, are you a thief? No? Ok then, do carry on! I believe this is putting people off attempting to reduce consumption...I myself will now buy new.

Scams are increasing by the day. Vinted customer service is non existent. No response, or computer generated response completely unrelated to the problem. No telephone number because they are not interested in solving any problems. I bought two items from two different sellers, both sent me the exact same Royal Mail postage receipt. It wasn't actually a receipt, it was a picture of a postage label. Of course, the item never arrives because it was never posted. Seller logs it as lost and claims the refund because I have of course paid the compulsory buyer protection. I am recompensed too, but not for the buyer protection fee, so the only person out of pocket is me. This is on the increase and will affect future buyers as the buyer protection will increase to cover the amount of "lost" Mail now going through. Vinted are completely disinterested. They will not reply to warnings, complaints or any other form of communication. BEWARE. Scams are on the increase and you will be caught out at some point. I have added a photo of the fake "receipt ". If you get this sent to you, you have just lost your buyer protection fee and you will have to wait at least 10 days to get any money back. Write to Vinted and complain, but don't expect any valid response or for them to do anything about solving the problem. Vinted app is now being deleted from my devices.

Opened an account I decided to open an account on Vinted. Started to list genuine items that I no longer wanted. Some brand new and some used. 4 items later, I had a notification saying that my account was blocked due to suspicious activity. Apparently I didnt meet their guidelines and they assumed these items were not authentic even tho every item showed clear pictures showing labels etc. Staff unhelpful and refused to do anything. After confirming these were genuine items they were not interested. Contacted them again requesting to re-look at the listings and if they could not be bothered just delete my account and Ill continue using ebay. So If Vinted are reading this, you really need to get your act together. Employ the right sort of people and not kids who clearly dont know what theyre doing! Cant be doing with this kind of rubbish. I will revert back to ebay now where I deal with professional people and not incompetent staff who clearly dont care. One last word for the staff at Vinted, its people like us that pay your wages just remember that!!! Would not recommend Vinted to anybody.

primarily tried to adopt Vinted due to a seemingly more flexible shipment process, when selling larger than normal products (bicycle), than Wallapop. However: 1. On first attempt to execute after customer paid I never received any shipping details and was simply advised by customer support to cancel and redo. Which I did: 2. On second attempt I finally received the shipping labels via the standard process and submitted pick up preference and details via same process on the platform. However, the provider never showed up in the agreed time frame and even worse - customer support refused to assume responsibility and address the issue and instead advised me to fix it myself by calling the shipment company! It just seems that Vinted needs to better realize, who is the client that drives their eventual business and ensure that there is ownership of the service and the e2e process, not just platform technology...this is secondary to their clients.

The worst service I ever had. The account was blocked in the first hour because I uploaded a "not original" product. For this case, I attached photos that confirm the originality of the products. Support saw my message but did not answer. Terrible website.

The absolute worst selling platform I have ever seen or used. They banned my profile after 2 months for "illegal activity" claiming my listings which have been active for 2 months are suddenly counterfeit items. I sent tons of photos and they just kept asking for the same photos again over the course of 30+ emails. Their customer service are incompetent and barely speak english. None of my items are fake. They asked for "serial numbers" on items that have no serial number and they asked me to "message from the app" after they already banned me thus making it impossible to login - they are very dumb. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Avoid avoid avoid. I got scammed and got zero support. Their security is non-existent, when you finally fin any contact details - hidden deep inside the site - it takes forever to get any response and then it is very poor. I am £150 out of pocket and have no recourse. Having listed an item - my first attempt at selling through Vinted, I got an offer and a email from Vinted within their platform. The email congratulated me on my sale and directed me to another site to verify my card details so that I could receive a payment from the seller. That link, embedded in the communications looking like it came from Vingted was on their platform. Having read their advise on security I stayed within the platform - but it transpired the email personalised Vinted and the link was to an external site. Having input my card details I got scammed. As I said before, there is no help whatsoever from Vinted. I think they employ school children to deal with their enquires. The site should be banned from the UK as it does not adhere to any regulations. Keep your items and avoid.

Vinted Support trying to scam users for their card details!!! SCAM ALERT!!! In order to change my phone number since their site doesn’t work and gives an error message when doing so, apparently Vinted needs your full card details INCLUDING the CVV code to “verify” it’s you. First, they asked me for a screenshot of a purchase I’ve made from Vinted on my bank statement, I gave it blurring everything else out. Apparently, that wasn’t enough, so they then needed more verification. They then proceeded to ask for a photo of my card. I sent a screenshot of my card on my account (only showed last 4 digits and my Full Name registered on Vinted) thinking that would be enough. It wasn’t. I was then asked for a photo of my card. By this point I’m getting severely creeped out as I already done 2 verification processes to obviously verify it was me just as they stated. I took a piece of paper to cover the sensitive information, leaving my name, last 4 digits and expiration date visible. Thinking that should do the trick, I was SHOCKED when I was then asked for my FULL CARD DETAILS by a rep from Vinted support!!!! So in order to change your phone number on Vinted (keep in mind, I have access to my number on file, just wanted to change it to another one but their site is glitched if you read reviews on changing phone numbers) you have to go through 3 verification processes they do not tell you about making you think it’s only ONE (they make you think it’s 1 at first, then ask for 2, then 3!!) I truly don’t understand why they expect anyone to be that stupid, to give their full card details in order to verify a person, on the account that is messaging them from their account, that still has access to their original number, who already supplied their previous verification methods) I 100% know this was a scam by their reps and my card would’ve started getting unauthorized charges immediately if I had done so. Their site needs to be shut down! I immediately removed my card from their site, requested a new card to be safe right after, and am awaiting my orders to be completed before deleting the account. This was 100% a scam to steal my information!

I have bought and sold safely. The real problem is customer service : you never get to talk to anyone, and they just do not give a s*** and reply with template emails. If everything goes smooth then ok. But the moment you have a problem with the parcel or the purchase you won't get ANY help. So, why are the buyers paying the service commission? I lately had a very bad exoerience, thry literally STOLE 20 euros, so I won't be recommending to anyone anymore.

I received a tshirt that had previously had the collar ripped off and was poorly sewn back on. I paid $20 for this shirt, that was listed as "excellent condition". The company offered a refund that would not include the amount I paid to have it shipped and in order to get the refund I would need to ship it back to the seller at my own expense. Shipping it back with tracking would cost more than the cost of the tshirt. I paid a fee for purchase protection at checkout, which apparently protected me from nothing because the company says it doesn't apply in my case. This is the absolute worst online shopping experience I have ever had. I'm out almost $30 and will have to throw the tshirt in the garbage.

I sent an item to a buyer and the package was put in a wrong box in the buyers' local InPost locker. Seems easy to resolve, right?! Vinted made a big deal out of it, is incapable of releasing the package, that is still sitting in the InPost locker and has refunded the buyer, which is fine by me, without returning my item. I have received 'back' a different item which I have to 'babysit' now, knowing it is someone else's property. I have tried to explain what is going on, what they have to do, how they can just release my package, sent photos, requested to speak to a supervisor, make a formal complaint, asked them to release my package (they control the InPost lockers) and asked what to do with the item that's not mine. They are completely dismissive, and ignore basically all I tell them. My original package is still in the locker (I can see this through the tracking number) and will probably stay there forever (they are refusing to release it back to me). The are also required by UK law to provide me with the details of their formal dispute resolution service (before I take legal action against them) and haven't provided that either. They are therefore in breach of all kinds of UK trading and consumer rights laws and I have reported them to the Trading Standards Commission. Now, I've run a little check in the internet to see if I'm the only one who has so many issues with them and - oh my goodness: - hundreds of pages of warnings including warnings that the 5* reviews here are mainly fake - complaints to various government / consumer rights bodies - they are apparently under EU scrutinty for breach of EU-laws - some people have taken the time to make YouTube videos to warn about them. So, I guess they are a rogue platform in the first instance. I got scammed by them. I will delete my account. But I thought I share - stay clear guys, you'll regret it.

I purchased a second hand tracksuit for my daughter. I paid £2.30 for buyer protection. I received an email whilst I was on holiday asking if I had received the order. I did not click ‘I have an issue’ as I was not sure if the parcel had been delivered. The seller knew it had been lost and had been notified by InPost. I contacted Vinted when I returned home, just outside of the 48 hour window. The seller has confirmed in messages that the item has been lost and I provided this evidence. Vinted will not refund. Shocking. Do not use. I will be deleting my account and reverting to eBay which I have used for years and affords much better buyer protection. I have lost £30.29 and Vinted couldn’t care less.
