I have had 2 parcels that I’ve sold on Vinted that once sent have gone missing, one via evri one via in post . Vinted are slow to respond and don’t seem to grasp the problem when explaining on the contact form . There’s no help and no compensation for my missing parcels as I’m the sender not the buyer . They don’t speak to you directly and messages back and forth are frustratingly lost in translation somehow

Please be careful, I have been using Vinted couple of time if everything goes smoothly they are fine , but when is a problem they are not gonna help you .I have lost my money . I had to return a dress and I had proof that the item was received still because she didn’t confirm she received the item they closed the case and didn’t refund the money .So be careful especially if is a big transaction, use EBay they are better at dealing with a problem.

First time user of vinted: I (stupidly) presumed as you have to pay "Buyer's Protection" with every item, that should something go wrong, it would be easy to sort. How very wrong I was! I ordered 3 different items. There were issues with 2 of them, one of which arrived dirty and stained, so very much not as described, and yet I have to pay for the postage to return! I can understand paying for return of items I have decided not to keep due to size etc....But this wasn't what I ordered!! So now I will be out of pocket. Tried contacting Vinted for advice and their customer service is absolutely appalling! Took them 4 days to get back to me, and they had totally ignored my question and simply copied and pasted in from their FAQs. Responded and asked for clearer advice only to pretty much get the same. I'm now waiting for a further response. My window for return is now closing so I have to decide whether to fork out for the return to get my money back or simply accept this as one of life's lessons. Will absolutely not be using again and will be advising others to avoid. Stick to eBay!

This review comes from a user who is both a customer and a seller. Overall I applaud the concept, however, the whole Vinted business model is just so defective in so many ways. 1.Starting with customer service, i'm not sure up to this date, I have ever spoke with a human in any of my interactions with them. You will usually get the same automated messages, with no personality, and most of the times you have to reach out regarding the same problem several times as the actual problem doesn't get solved. Reporting fraudulent users or content can be hard at times and in some cases they won't take any action despite reporting a counterfeit item for example, as the product passed an initial automatic review. 2. The amount of counterfeit items on this platform baffles me, despite their terms and conditions plus the not to mention the legal requirements. Everyday I see tons of new counterfeit items making their way on the platform and I can't see any efforts from their side to stop this, despite numerous efforts and reports from my side alone. On the other hand, original products, that i personally bought and provided with proof of purchase were taken down and I was unable to sell it on the platform because they believed it was counterfeit, despite all and any proof I provided. All on one, fake items are approved for sale, but original items are being taken down, now that's what I call great business.. 3. App crashes and bugs happen quite often. Also some of their campaigns are rigged and despite reporting these issues, no resolution will be given, no action will be taken. 4. Some of the delivery companies they work with sould be of the marker to begin with, thanks to their horrible customer service, and despite Vinted having all the data/report/complains they don't seem to care, but will rather hold the delivery company side if your parcel gets damaged or lost in transit. Also, the compensation in case of damage/loss is ridiculously low and in most of the cases doesn't cover the full amount but pennies compared with the actual product value, so if you sell something valuable on Vinted, you'd better pray. 5. In some cases the product uploading process can really take 48 hours (which I find absurd) but nevertheless, if a few days later you want to change one detail such as the price on that product you will be met with the same check again, despite the product being accepted once, and having to wait another 48 hours for the product to be back online is just a joke. 6. The reviews part of things can be really unfair at times. To talk facts, if you have a product that is well described with all the issues presented in your add, including pictures with the defects, it would be unfair for the buyer to give you 1 star because the product he received was defective, since all those defects were pointed and presented in the add to begin with. If you start a dispute in such a case, the customer service won't do much to help you, as I stated earlier it's hard for robots to be human. 7. I have recently approached their customers service asking about one of their curent campaigns, as I was eligible but wasn't given the "badge", and after many back and forth messages, I was accused of "fraudulent activity", reason why I wasn't eligible. When asking for proof or meaning of this so called "fraudulent activity" thay responded with "unfortunately this must be our final decision" without providing any proof to their harsh accusations. I have reached out to their legal department immediately as I was very offended by these accusation but didn't hear anything from them yet. This would be the second email send to their legal department and since they didn't bother to reply to my first email I don't expect them to answer my last one. These are my experiences with Vinted so far in about 4/5 months of using it, and despite being a good initiative, it's faulty on so many levels...

Absolutely appalling! Lack of customer service and company run by AI bots! Falsely acused me of listing fake item and permanently blocked my account, I have provided them with evidence of item being genuine and it's like talking to brick wall. They refusing to acknowledge they are at fault and unblock my account. Sickening, useless, bunch of incompetent morons. Highly dissatisfied, DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Clearly many people have positive experiences selling on Vinted. However their views may change if they ever try getting any sense from "Customer Service". I received several pairs of new shoes to be sold as a charity donation. Choosing to sell them on Vinted - better for this I thought, I tried setting up an account. I was advised that the username proposed had already been used. I then recalled setting up, but never using an account, several years ago. I tried using several possible passwords for the username, and when all failed I requested a password reset. Despite several requests to Vinted this was never provided. I then in desperation set up an account with a different username as I had no options left. That was a big mistake on my part, as I had unknowingly breached Vinted Terms and Conditions in having more than one account, and my account was permanently blocked. According to Vinted my only challenge against the decision was an appeal or action in the Courts! I appealed, fully explaining the facts and innocent error but appeal was rejected, but no reason provided. All attempts since to get an explanation from Vinted as to the facts they used in their decision, or how the punishment was proportional to the offence have just been met by short replies refusing to give any more information. I can only assume replies are either AI generated or Vinted employees are so restricted in their actions that they cannot apply the smallest bit of common sense to correct matters. Enjoy Vinted while your selling is going well, but be aware that they are likely to be a truly appalling company when things go wrong, and you need them to apply common sense. To cap it all they sent me 3 emails containing a link to provide feedback. I cannot provide it because they have permanently blocked the account!!!

Vinted has blocked my account for no reason. They customwr service is none. You only receive automated messages .... if there is a problem with anything, you won't get any help from them. Fortunately European Consumer Centre helped me and my account was reinstated. So if you have any problems with Vinted, complain to European Consumer Centre. They will help you with everything

I wouldnt recommend! I bought a dress and was charged instantly, shortly after the seller told me she’d sold it to someone else. After that message she ghosted me. It took support 3 days to reply , they told me I had to cancel the order & they couldnt assure me that this would not result in myself receiving bad feedback. They said that was the only option, I did it and got a warning that if I ever cancelled again I would get negative feedback, and it meant I couldnt leave any feedback for her, its strongly biased to the seller, and I will stick to ebay in the future

Complete disregard for sellers Obvious scammer claiming goods to be damaged but unwilling to provide proof Vinted came down on buyers side with no evidence , cancelled purchase , refunded buyer , fraudsters Will not use Vinted again , time will tell

Terrible to non existent customer service Just been scammed by a buyer claiming item was damaged on arrival but not prepared to prove it by displaying the item as a whole with damage Very abusive buyer and Vinted have come down on her side and cancelled order and refunded the buyer without evidence of damage Avoid avoid at all cost

De verkopersbescherming biedt geen enkele bescherming omdat hier een termijn aan vastzit van twee dagen. Voordat wij het product afgehaald hadden van het bezorgpunt bleek deze periode al verstreken. We krijgen boeken i.p.v. schoenen. Advies: Koop niks via Vinted! De koper heeft 10 reviews: - 1 koper (?) met 5 sterren, - 5 kopers met 1 ster en - 4 automatische reviews van 5 sterren van Vinted zelf. Het gemiddelde wordt dus opgeschroefd door Vinted zelf. De laatste review is zelfs van na de 5 klachten... beoordeel dus zelf wat je daarvan vindt.

Terrible experience. Item has not arrived and they keep fobbing you off with wait 24 hrs, wait 48 hrs, wait 5 days and now its wait 15 day. No human to speak to. They rip you off with false claims of insurance that is useless.

No customer service. No buyer protection. Purchased faulty shoes and the seller denied any fault despite me providing clear photos as evidence. Returned shoes and she would not refund. “Customer service” is a chat bot. They send 2 copy paste replies, then stop replying. The “buyer protection” fee is just for Vinted profit. There is no protection at all!!

They are absolutely horrible. Placed the order received with missing items To show to seller what was missing from the order I have chosen the missing items. I agreed with seller that i would be returning the ones i received as well so they were no sale would be between us. Seller sent me label i packed all and returned. The payment was partially from bank partial from vinted balance. Then they returned the amount for the missing items and complete the sale then i raised straight away that I supposed to get the rest of the balance to my bank. They investigated for about 2 months, then turned around saying ah you hit the everything ok button, which i didnt! They auto completed the order somehow and blaming me that I supposed to chose all order, which also is not available in their stupid software! So i ended up paying for the items I already returned. I always had a problem with them, as a buyer, seller and delivery issues. This scammers doing the business in Lithuania all the workers from there, I dont think they even understand English, because all responses are similar. Make no sense. Even if I need to take it to court I will do it, this is not about 30quid for me anymore! DO NOT BUY OR SELL ANYTHING FROM THEM.

Wouldn’t help with a £550 order Sent next day signed delivery and they wouldn’t update it was delivered Vinted were no help in this situation Avoid selling as no protection for sellers at all

I recently had a disappointing experience with Vinted. Despite the carrier’s confirmation that my parcel was delivered, I never received it. I was at home on the delivery date and thoroughly checked my property and spoke with my neighbours, but there was no parcel. Vinted’s support team was unhelpful, stating they are not responsible for shipping issues. This was my second order, and given this experience, I do not plan to use Vinted again. As a customer, I expect better service and accountability. My issue remains unresolved, leaving me quite dissatisfied with Vinted’s service.

I bought some earrings and there were issues with them, one of the issues I had is that once you remove the plastic behind ( when they are new) the back piece was too loose to keep the earring in the ear. Anyway vinted said it was investigated that the seller provided further evidence ( the same photos as the one on the original post) and that they needed to investigate further. When. asked how they proved that the earrings were perfectly fine through photos- when really video clips would be more ideally but vinted does not allow, no response. Nearly two months later, after a few messages in which they hoped I'd forget the issue, it was still investigated. I escalated with my bank via a dispute and that is when received a message from vinted saying that it was too late for a refund because I either did not open the case on time or did not send it to the seller. I sent the PrintScreen explaining, how is possible if the order is under " suspended" and there is no communication that this issue has been resolved. No replies. The day after they offered me to return, my bank told me not to return as we were going into stage 2. Vinted sent the label for return and decline to comment,hoping this would be the end of the issue but as advised by my bank I would not use the label issued on the same day because the investigation was opened. At the same time the support ignore my questions 5 times on how to escalate the matter with the complaints team by ending messages " I'm sorry you are unhappy with our solution, you have 5 days to post the item back" after the 6th time and they attempting to close the case, no response directly to my question. I am now fighting the case with a resolver and will keep escalating. The answer they provided was: can I have your username and the seller's username, rather than acknowledge their customer service issues, The worst I have ever dealt with. unbelievable.

Door een fout van Homer / Homer postpunt (2 labels over elkaar gekleefd) heb ik een pakketje van iemand anders ontvangen. Ik meld dit netjes bij Homer. Homer vraagt om foto's, netjes verstuur ik de foto's. Steeds opnieuw willen ze meer foto's. Alsook foto's van het onderste label. Zo goed als mogelijk heb ik het bovenste label met mijn gegevens verwijderd. (Erg moeilijk ing papieren plak labels) Opnieuw vroeg vinted om nog meer Foto's van de verpakking, labels,.. Ik heb daarna een poging gedaan om het onderste label beter leesbaar te maken met water helaas bleef het onmogelijk om de barcode leesbaar te krijgen. Ik heb opnieuw de foto's doorgemaild. Ook hierna vroeg Vinted opnieuw om beter leesbare foto's van het onderste papieren label. Ik heb vibted laten weten dat het niet mogelijk was om de barcode te lezen / beter foto's te maken ing de papieren plaklabels die super moeilijk van elkaar te verwijderen zijn. Hierop liet Vinted zijn beslissing weten: het was mijn fout want ik kon niet tijdig de nodige informatie / foto's van het onderste label van de effectieve koper van het pakketje bezorgen. Alsof ik magisch papieren plaklabels kan scheiden / leesbaar kan maken?! En dat alles voor een pakketje van een 10 euro!! Als jullie geen kopers bescherming willen geven, vraag(eis) daar dan geen betaling voor.
