If I can give them 0 stars I will definitely do. When I posted my items to sell them I got a notification that it was deleted because the pictures are not mine so what I did is I submitted an appeal and in the appeal. I said that I will take a picture of the items with the same background and also I will do a thumbs up besides them. And I did that then they refused it again and said because the pictures exist in different websites. This is stupidity at its finest. I contacted them again and told them I can take another picture of them and write down a paper with some information then they said the same thing and threatened me that I should not take this violation again. This is the worst customer service ever their names are Dima and Tomas. They have to fire this stupid customer service team immediately. Please give them a one star review I checked also the other reviews they scam people. Please be careful

I was stolen at vinted!! I sold a Stela Mccartney Falabela bag valued at 350 euros with a Vinted verification service included. When the buyer received the suitcase, he claimed that the color in the photographs did not correspond to the real one. Not agreeing with this, because differences in color due to luminosity and not liking the color of the item do not constitute differences in the description of the ad, I asked for the intervention of Vinted support where I attached a print with the description of the ad where it could be seen that the The color was described and corresponded to the color of the bag, it was khaki green and not gray as the seller said it seemed to be. The case was under review at Vinted for 48 hours to make a decision. After two days, the sale was manually canceled by Vinted, the buyer kept the money and the suitcase!!! I didn't receive any notification of anything, it was just like that, it only appears in the buyer's chat ORDER CANCELED!!! I WAS SCAMMED!!!!

No protection for sellers at all. Now I'm left out of pocket trying to help my child get a little pocket money selling his stuff, when my transaction was suspended & we didnt get our item back. You are nothing but a scamming set of douche bags & your site needs shutting down!!!!

1 star is too generous! This platform is a scam that doesn’t protect the seller and the customer service is appalling. EVRI damaged a parcel that I sent but Vinted refuse to resolve it. They’ve refunded the buyer AND let them keep my goods so I now have no goods and no money. Vinted refuse to take this up with Evri or give me my money. Avoid!! Use EBay instead.

This app is a platform for scammers. Just check on google and you will find thousands of sellers and buyers scammed everyday. People noticed that there is no protection for sellers so basically they use it for defrauds: you sell something, buyer send picture of something else and says he received a different (less valuable of course item): he's refunded and the seller lost both the money and the item. It's so easy as a defraud scheme that they are doing it frequently. Don't use it

This app is an absolute scam. they do not resolve any complains not even when they lose objects and things they are supposed to deliver. Due to a lack of legal definition they do not fall under umbrella companies for which you can get mediation and the amount of money you lose might be significant to you but not even a fraction of a penny compared to big companies. this is not the first time I have experienced issues with vinted. they allow buyers to bully you on the platform, pretend they haven’t received the item and you don’t get paid, they lose packages and you don’t get paid etc. if you’re reading this do yourself a favour and delete the app.

Disappointing experience with Vinted’s support system. I sold an item with sentimental value, but the buyer claimed it was damaged. Despite my good track record as a seller (5-star reviews), Vinted sided with the buyer without showing me any proof of the damage or ensuring the item was returned to me. The buyer blocked me and refused to communicate, leaving me feeling scammed. While it’s possible the item was damaged during shipping, I never got the chance to see any evidence. Vinted’s support team was unhelpful and closed the case without addressing my concerns. Sellers deserve better protection and transparency on this platform.

Awful experience as a seller. Vinted cancelled my order while I sent my package on time, the support team is saying "don't worry we will help you get paid" and after 1 month of fighting they are now telling me that they can't help me anymore and that I will not get paid even though the package is marked as delivered on mondial relay. This is just UNACCEPTABLE. I will never use vinted again, to buy or sell and I will relate this story to a maximum of persons around me so people stop using vinted.

As others have said, it’s just not quite right. About 1 in 4 orders won’t ship and become cancelled and the seller doesn’t get negative feedback if it’s cancelled, so you can’t see who the bad sellers are. The shipping even when the item is sent, takes absolutely ages. Usually at least a week to receive anything, as a seller you don’t get paid for ten days. Some items can take over 2 weeks for delivery. If you have an issue then you only have two days to report it, from it being delivered. So if you’re away fort the weekend and someone sends you an empty box, then it will be shown as delivered and you can’t challenge it. But the worst thing is when things go wrong. The customer service team would be better off employing monkeys, as they are completely useless. I had bought a top that had clearly shrunk, anlthoygh this wasn’t stated, and I reported it straight away, but Vinted refused the return as the size stated XL on the label, and that was what was shipped! Despite sending photos and measurements showing it had clearly shrunk. They are completely useless!! Also, as a buyer you pay an additional couple of pounds per purchase for buyer protection, which doesn’t mean anything and is just a scam to get more money. I’m deleting my account and going back to ebay. It’s much better on the whole. Vinted could be decent but they need to change a lot of things.

Vinted have now twice. Ignored me and I agree with previous review, smug responses and not helpful at all when trying to get my money back for an item I didn’t receive or an item I sold that was damaged by either delivery or the buyer. I have tried to complain but the contact page blasts it no longer exists. When my last parcel arrives I will be deleting the app. Very poor customer service.

The buyer has absolutely no protection on purposely sold faulty and damaged items. You have 2 days to report faults and then item has to be returned at cost to buyer which makes no sense. If the buyer refuses to pay for postage the sale goes through and buyer is charged. People are selling damaged items as they’re not losing out in any way. The Vinted insurance is worthless and the customer service is horrendous.

No protection from vinted! I have been a vinted buyer for years and had no problems until something went wrong. I bought an item from a seller through vinted and the item didn't arrive, I contacted vinted straight away as this is the reason why they charge buyers protection insurance. Anyway they sent me a message to say I needed to send a form back to them within 48hrs, at no point did they specify how it needed to be sent back. Anyway I found the email with the form attached, I printed the form off, filled it in and sent it by 1st class recorded delivery to ensure that it would get to where it needed to go. I got a .message my app from them shortly after reminding me to SEND it, I replied to them letting them know I had posted it and it would be with them....the next response I got was an email saying I hadn't sent the form and that the case was now closed and that they could no longer deal with it. I have sent them many emails and they offer no help, they take no responsibility and now I am £100 down with nothing to show for it, I have paid more than that in buyers protection insurance over the years, vinted fo not protect you, they are not specific in what the ask, they are just charging people for a service they don't actually do.....I would advise buyers to pay caution to this company in case they find them selves in a situation like mine, you would find vinted most un helpful and actually quite sarcastic and rude!

Absolutely shocking how they treat people. I recently sold a bundle of ornaments which were well packaged but likely due to being thrown around by the delivery company a couple were damaged. I wasn’t given any option to have them sent back nor to offer a partial refund, or even to instigate a claim with the delivery company! Instead the buyer received a full refund and I get nothing. So essentially the buyer has received free items which I initially worked hard to pay for. No explanation or anything. It’s definitely put me off selling anything else with them.

Do not use Vinted. Appalling company. I created an account and was blocked before I’d even had the chance to buy or sell anything. I appealed and was refused because apparently I’d violated their terms and conditions and told untruths. How can I violate terms and conditions simply by creating an account?! The account was through my Apple account and completely legitimate. I’ve never been treated like this by any company in my whole life and have an excellent credit score and seller rating. Customer Service leaves a lot to be desired. Avoid at all costs would be my advice.

Vinted is an absolute disgrace and protects scammers. Sold a lovely bag for £140. Photos, description all accurate. Buyer, after begging for a lower price because they ‘don’t have much money’. Put something on the bag (possibly talc?) and requests a refund with pictures of the bag that was black, now a pale grey colour with damage to the bottom. Completely different to how it was. States it’s worn and not as described. Course it isn’t, you’ve sodding damaged it. Vinted allow this to happen and sided with the buyer refunding them with no requirement to return. Didn’t read any of my messages or screenshots or do any investigation. An absolute disgrace. Account will be deleted when the last few orders are complete. I’d rather give my things away to charity shops than have to deal with disgusting, low life scum. If you do decide to use this platform, watch out for sob stories, poor English (like scam emails) and repeated messages.

I cannot recommend selling on this platform. I have, a few days ago (26/11/2024), been “permanently banned” by their (seemingly wholly automatic) systems. I have run my Vinted account for circa 10 days only. The text in the "ban message" read as follows: "Due to fraudulent activity that goes against our Terms and Conditions, we have no choice but to permanently ban your account from Vinted. Creating multiple accounts is not allowed, so any further accounts you create will also be blocked." I have *not* undertaken *any* fraudulent activity whatsoever. Moreover, when navigating through Vinted’s “appeal process”, I am informed that these contraventions will get an account banned are as follows: (1) Counterfeits, commercial selling, or duplicate listings. (2) Multiple accounts. (3) Spam, scams, or hate speech. Once again, I have *not* undertaken any of the above contraventions. This is my first ever account that I have made on Vinted, and after a mere 10 days, is likely going to be the last. I have *not* undertaken wrongful activity in the operation of my Vinted account, and have conducted myself with full integrity. Yet, I am “permanently banned”. It is utterly bizarre that I have been “permanently banned” after a mere 10 days. For the record, I listed 8 (wholly authentic) Ralph Lauren Polo shirts from my clothing collection. Some sold, and some did not. I took detailed photographs to demonstrate authenticity, and attached accurate text descriptions to each listing. I shipped all sold items promptly (either same-day or next morning), and in well-wrapped parcels. Strangely, after the final items sold, I was “permanently banned”. So, this is the summation of my Vinted experience. I suspect I am not the only user with this experience. I encourage prospective users to think very carefully before using this platform. In my own case, looking ahead, it is my intention to simply donate unwanted items of clothing to charity shops. The whole "Vinted experience" has been more hassle than it is worth.

They do not support buyers at all. If a buyer miss-advertises an item, the buyer has to pay postage and packaging to return it if the seller refuses to do so. Vinted will not step in and even though you have to pay them some buyer protection fee (they offer no protection!) they have 'stitched up' buyers by the small print in the terms and conditions that puts the onus on the buyer to sort out the problem!! Vinted offer NO CUSTOMER SERVICE whatsoever. They just sending condescending smug messages with cut and paste text!! Having been ripped off with return postage and packaging for sending back an item that was listed as new when it obviously wasn't I have closed my account. JUST DO NOT USE THEM they are useless!!

Buyer protection is worthless and there are no consequences for dodgy sellers Seller sold me a damaged and stained item. The damage and stain were not shown in the pictures nor described in the description. I requested to return the item. Seller was rude..followed returns process. Seller never collected item. Vinted don't care. I still don't have my money back. Every time I chase them there is a 48 hour wait for a response. Every response says 'we've contacted the seller and are awaiting a response'. I paid for the item, I paid postage and I paid 'buyer protection' whatever that is, seems to be a a Vinted tax more than anything, I've also paid return postage. No refund. Seller ignoring it, Vinted are still allowing him to sell his 'star wardrobe' with no consequences. I feel like I've been robbed twice. Once but the seller and one by vinted for the 'buyer protection'. It's been a month since I made the purchase. I'll not use them again, abhorrent way to treat people. Date of experience: 03 November 2024

Second time this has happened, sell an item, desribe it as - worn before, not new!, with some wear! And the buyer makes a return request stating- item not as description!? Then I, the seller, has to pay to get the item back or just let the buyer have it for free- which I'm sure lots of buyers are hoping for. Think I'll give it to charity, save myself the hassle, in future!
