Booked. Arsenal Emirates stadium tour for my son who is Arsenal mad and cannot book the experience. Virgins booking system won’t allow it and out of the 15 emails I sent as no phone numbers are used by virgin I only got 3 replies and each said something different which still ends up with us unable to book the experience. Terrible company with disappointing and disgusting customer support. They just want your money. I’d advise anyone thinking of using them to don’t there are much better companies that can provide a good service.

False advertising. Bought a rafting trip for 6 that included lunch. The Virgin Experience website and my confirmation showed lunch WAS included. Tour operator said lunch was not included. Virgin said that they would take care of it. After a few emails asking for screenshots of where lunch was listed as included (which I provided), they stopped responding.

I bought 3 experiences in November 2022. I tried to book through their platform and when I submitted my request the confirmation email said I needed to wait to receive a confirmation from iFly before my booking was confirmed. I never received confirmation and when I called iFly they never got a booing request in the first place. So I reached out to customer service and the experience has been TERRIBLE. It took me multiple emails to get someone to respond. All I wanted was for them to reschedule the booking since I couldn't do it through their platform. It has been TWO MONTHS of emailing with them and all they say is they can't refund me and they'll call iFly to reschedule. But they never do. They refuse to actually make the booking or refund me. It's ridiculous and I hope no one books with them again. Customer service is abhorrent.

False advertisement and totally mis selling of these experience days .why you come to redeem the voucher you are so limited on days and times but that's not what is said when they are selling them.you have no chance of getting anywhere with online customs service as the just ignore you or fob you off .do not buy these days as you di not get what you pay for

This experience was a gift from my daughter and son in law. It has been impossible to use. We first tried to book our experience and decided to bring friends along, in order to book for 4 instead of the original 2 I had to purchase additional tickets which I did. AFTER we purchased the additional tickets we were informed that the experience we purchased was closed for the month of January. We tried to book the experience again for all 4 of us we were told they would get back to us. The time we requested was available along with many other times during the day and evening. They waited past the 1-3 days they promise, and only responded to us after we put a ticket into customer service offering us a 10pm or 10:30pm time slot on the day we requested. We all live over two hours from NYC, that time is not reasonable for us to enjoy the experience. Now I am unable to use my voucher because it is showing depleted and instead of releasing it they continue to hold it with no response. I have now booked my experience direct with the venue and paid again out of pocket to enjoy the experience that was gifted to us. I would like a full refund, the only problem is that there is no way to contact them, no phone number nothing. Save your money and book your experience directly. Trust me there is ZERO value add from this company. I would rate zero stars if they would let me....

Buying a voucher and booking an experience through the website was easy. Asking a simple question to their Customer Service was a dreadful experience. I had some people coming back to me, quicker than I expected I must say, but they didn't seem to understand the question; it feels like they were avoiding to answer it. I've been told my (simple) question has been sent to the escalation team, and radio silence for the last 2 weeks. I had a fairly good opinion of the Virgin Brand, not anymore; lack of transparency. 1st time I was booking an experience through VED, and will be the last.

I would give no stars if I could. Others have complained about customer service and I can agree totally. It's a scam when they offer a refund you don't get it. I have constantly been trying to get my money back without any luck £60 is alot of money these days when things are tight. It might be ok if it runs smoothly with out any issues but if there is a issue don't expect any help or refund. I won't ever use them again

Please do not buy these I had £150 gifted to me I used 19.99 on a paranormal certificate that I did not receive only to spend an extra £15.00 to do the course that was basic and still waiting for a certificate perchased a Liverpool experience day for £46 and still having trouble booking a day and even getting to talk to anyone is a nightmare do not purchase anything from lantern paranormal 101 you will be highly disappointed I wish I could get my £150 back what a waste of money and time PLEASE DO NOT BUY THESES AS GIFTS

If I could rate Virgin Experience as 0 stars I would. I have been trying to spend my vouchers for over a year but have been stuck in an email loop with their customer service this entire time. They are absolutely awful. After months of them constantly asking the same questions over and over again and me giving the same answer, they are finally doing what I asked a year ago. Unfortunately all my vouchers lapsed as they have taken so long (I assume they do this on purpose so they never pay out), and then they had the nerve to ask me to pay to extend the vouchers despite the fact they gave me no way to use my vouchers in the first place. Horrendous customer service and vouchers that do not work.

We booked an afternoon tea on a vintage bus for our honeymoon, however this was cancelled a day before and we weren’t given an opportunity to re book. After a month of complaining I finally got through to someone at customer services who responded to be told I would only be re funded the amount which Virgin paid the tour company, not the value of the voucher which was significantly more. Very disappointed!

The worst customer service experience ever. Emailed them in end of November to extend a voucher that was about to expire, paid 10£ to extend for 6 months,the new voucher was meant to be send within week. After 2 weeks I emailed them querying the delivery times, I was told it will be send within another 10 days, emailed them back after 10 days, they said they had some sort of error and the will send asap, after a week emailed them again and I keep being told they will update me as soon as they can. It now has been more than 2 months since my first request so not sure if i even get the voucher now. From the email chain seems like only one person is working in their offce as the lady keeps telling me she has been out of office few times. Absolute waste of time, would have rather had ghe voucher to expire...

I'm massively disappointed with the experiance offered. Customer Service is unresponsive and unhelpful I have been ignored for days and no help was given to me. Because of the delays in the service and negligence I booked my experiance too late and lost my money. I don't recommend.

Poor refund tactics from customer service. I paid in both giftcard + money and asked for a partial refund from a multi purchase of the money. Natasha continued to refund me by giftcard, despite me asking for the partial refund to be returned to my bank. FYI, this is not me asking to get a giftcard turned into cash, the giftcard is still fully utilised, with leftover money that could have been refunded. This is both my money and giftcard, only the worst company would try to dictate how you should receive your refund - I'd avoid using Virgin and their services -- After providing contact info, still no news from Virgin. They only ask for contact details to pull down bad reviews if not provided.

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY I brought a helicopter pleasure through Virgin Experience on 16 Dec. 2021, for my husband as his Christmas gift. We could never mark a day online for a year [it was always full], and when we were finally able to confirmed a day, they canceled it. No new date for the activity was given to us and refused a refund.

Another company that deliberately and insidiously limits the effectiveness of their customer service by removing live contact methods, and under-resourcing their service team. Getting support from them is deliberately difficult. This is in stark contrast to the ease in which they took my money. I have tried for weeks to get any meaningful response to resolve a really simple matter. I will not return my custom. To whoever is going to paste a reply to this TrustPilot review. Rather than saying 'sorry', and 'please be assured someone is looking at your request', I would rather Virgin Experience Days used the resource to contact me and resolve my issue, than try to manage their public image on a review site. It is telling that there are many complaints of being ignored for weeks when contacting the official 'Service' channels, yet there are teams of people here responding to poor reviews within minutes, pasting platitudes and meaningless 'assurances'. DO NOT USE. They cancel the experience and are now bullying me into taking another deal. They won't offer a refund despite it being them who have cancelled the experience! Their customer service people are evasive and never directly answer a query. If you get a similar product from anywhere else you are entitled to reject it and have a refund but these guys refuse...even when they have cancelled it! THERE ARE MANY BETTER COMAPNIES OFFERING THESE EXPERIENCES DO NOT TOUCH THIS ONE.

SPEND £150 FOR NOTHING!! This whole thing is the WORST experience I have ever had!!!! My bf spent £150 to purchase this Spa Day as a Christmas gift. We tried to book it for so many times and tried different days and locations and even tried to change the experience.. However, THERE WERE NO SINGLE TIME WORKED! It's always full! We are not free 365/year so we can put ourselves in it!!! MOST REDICULOUS THING IS: YOU NEED TO BOOK AND TAKE THE EXPERIENCE BEFORE THE EXPIRE DATE!! WHAT A JOKE! We cant even find the open window to book 3 months ahead! So now our experience voucher is expired. So all we get for spending this £150 is the hassle!!! Wasted time and money!! Even they have an option to extend your experience. Well, one month for free and more than one month you need to pay extra. So, what's the point?! I mean we failed to book a single session in a year, now you expect me can book and take the experience in one month?? So ridiculous and such a joke!

I was given a ‘Theatre and dinner for two’ for Christmas by my daughter. When I first tried to book, there were only three choices of theatre (probably due to Covid). I left it a few months then retried. The website was a nightmare to negotiate - going round in circles, contradictory information etc. At one point I appeared to have choice of several shows, but once the voucher number was entered it went back to three. I then went to my daughter to try again. With two of us negotiating the website and many ‘back to square 0’ moments we eventually managed to book The Mousetrap, not a musical which I would have preferred. Since completing this form, I have not heard any more or confirmation about the theatre ticket, despite having received an email about the included dinner which referred to the theatre. I have waited for confirmation but received none. The restaurant booking which arrived was for fifteen minutes after the play ended, which would have been impossible to get to on time. I emailed, and was amended by fifteen minutes - still a rush. I have tried on numerous occasions to contact Virgin, only to be told ‘we are now ‘phoneless’ or try, unsuccessfully, to communicate with a robot in a chat room. I have had the date of my visit, October 13th in my diary for months, but on Monday 10th I developed Covid-like symptoms so tried again to contact Virgin to see if I could postpone my visit. Still no luck, despite an ‘automatic’ email reply saying I would be contacted in 2-3 days. Still nothing. So my poor daughter has spent very good money for me to receive nothing! I have begged her never to buy me another Virgin Experience day!
