I have been on the phone with Vodafone technical for the past few weeks more than a few hours everyday and they finally gave up and referred me to a customer service team. I spoke to Sandra today and she explained how the fault is with me and not them even though I explained to her the fact that my mobile hotspot works fine for all of my devices and that I need an engineer to come have a look or a new router which she refused to assist me with and asked to take my complaint with ombudsman. I wish I could give them negative stars.

I have been trying to speak to a human to get a sim replaced for 2 weeks. Up to now no joy. A machine makes things easier but to scrap human interaction make me want to leave this company for good.

Been a customer for 28 years and i now have had to switch. The service in our area has dropped dramatically and we struggle to make calls. According to vodafone and their useless signal tracker, the reception is good! Customer service appalling. I have 4 lines with them at £280 per month. You've lost my business for life. Moved to EE, different level of customer service.

Awful service. So my daughter brought a mobile that wasn't connecting. Three times she went back to store to sort. Finally someone arranged for it to be collected from Vodafone and replaced - happy days. My daughter then end up with a brain injury and deaf due to an accident. Being a mother just continued to put money in her account and getting daughter better not knowing her bills etc. A year on she's able to kind of manage her account. Seeing Vodafone are taking three payments from her account for different hand sets that have been returned. 1hr 12minutes on the phone Vodafone can't refund it as Brough from store. But dpd collected by Vodafone on the phone not in store. £490 she's paid and Vodafone refusing to refund. No help. No guidance. Watch your accounts people Vodafone rip you off

Well come april 2023 vodafone increased thier prices for me it was 14.4% (that's the 10.5% CPI rate, plus 3.9%)which is equal to £13.75 per month for me,so I complained asked for a lower rate and all I got was Unfortunately, we're unable to help you with the price increase and so when I pointed out to them that asda mobile who uses the vodafone network engine, as it is exactly the same as vodafone but much much cheaper at £7.00 per month a bit better than £16.88,ID MOBILE is offering the exact same deal as vodafone but for £10.00 per/month using the three networks which vodafone is in talks with a £15 billion merger likely to happen a bit better than £20.59,TALKMOBILE same deal for £9.95 rather than£20.59 which incidentally uses vodafone network. for supply. VODAFONE IS TO EXPENSIVE WHEN OTHERS ON EXACTLY THE SAME DATE, TEXTS AND TALK TIME,SAME DEALS ARE MUCH CHEAPER. end of my contract, end of vodafone, after many years. they are hopeless.

I wish it was possible to give ratings below 1star. I have been with Vodafone for years. I have been let down by this company so many times it becomes hard to track. They registered me as a BUSINESS (I am NOT!) when I first went to the shop to buy a SIM and I only randomly found out a year later, when I was renewing the contract. I could have incurred into financial troubles for this and it took the company months to finally amend that. Last year I got a fibre contract with them. Signed, got the router, got the appointment with the engineer who couldn't carry out the connection for health & safety reasons (scaffolding was in the way, although it would have surely been safer than the flimsy ladder he was carrying)... Had to wait months before I could call to book another engineer's appointment. Got a call back saying they were not covering my area anymore (out of the blue), despite their website stating otherwise. Ended up with a 5G contract and a mobile router. Speed should have been reliable, up to 100mb/s. Instead, it's been a constant up and down between 20, 8, 10, 30, 2 mb/s in the span of a few seconds. Connection jumps between 4G and 5G constantly and, on top of that, Secure Net was added to my plan, without being outlined (nor included) in the contract. I pointed out this breach of contract, after randomly logging into My Vodafone App and noticing I had Secure Net on, despite never asking for it. So, after many years as a customer, I had enough and demanded to have the contract cancelled, due to a clear lack of transparency, hidden, unsolicited costs and an appalling Customer Service experience. After being repeatedly lied to, by being told Secure Net was in my contract and I was given multiple notices of it and a back and forth of days, they admitted the extra was not cited in the contract but denied any wrongdoing or breach of contract and offered a refund of a whopping 10£, without even an apology for accusing me of being inattentive and, implicitly, of being a liar... I obviously refused, as it's about trust, customer care and HONESTY (all things they don't even know the definition of) and I do not want to be serviced by them anymore, after the treatment I received. They wouldn't budge and demanded I pay a fee to exit the contract THEY breached. So I am now in the process of escalating this with CISAS. If after reading my review you are still considering choosing Vodafone as your provider, keep reading the countless reviews that resonate with mine and stray away like your life depended on it! IT IS NOT WORTH THE HASSLE!!! The plans are expensive, the line temperamental at best and utterly unreliable as a standard and their respect for customers inexistent. Look for better, cheaper, more honest companies to rely on and have a more enjoyable experience overall!

Dreadful company, lack of care or respect for their customers! Avoid at all costs unless you want more stress and unexpected “debt” from “unpaid hidden fees”. No point in contacting customer services team as all they say is they can’t help you, or they don’t understand you.

Without even seeing other bad reviews I tried to have a broadband with them. Placed order on 15th February, received all confirmations and temporary log in creditentials... Installation date comes close - 29th March (why this long???) and my router isn't arriving... It turns out, my order wasn't succesfull - Why wasn't I made aware of this. Have been without boradband for 6 week at the new adress!

With an overall customers satisfaction score of just 77%, at 45% customer satisfaction rating (compared to 85% for the top vendor) Ofcom has ranked Vodafone as the worst broadband provider in 2023. (See the USAVE website for the full report) My experience concurs - I've been a mobile customer for over 10 years, and broadband customer for over 4 years , had 3 rubbish routers and intermittant internet connection dropouts and slowdowns throughout. The straw that broke the camels back is the pending 14.4% price increase and completely broken broadband upgrade offers. The upgrade promised in the email sent to me when I started the upgrade process from their website for ProII Full Fibre 100 for £28/m with UltraHub wasn't actually available so I couldn't actually take out the deal they offered! It would have been available for £43/m without the Ultrahub and thus wouldn't actually support the required features. The routers have extremely unreliable wifi s/w issues requiring frequent restarts of the wifi to get Sonos systems and my LG TV connecting robustly, and the wired connections are also unreliable. Customer support is 0/10. Vodafone provide a completely usless "AI assistance" TOBi which just doesn't work. The entire support system was down on 3 occasions which I tried to use it this week, and Vodafone's own staff also had problems due to its unreliabilities. The support phone staff couldn't sort this issue so escalated it to another department which refered me back to the original support staff who couldn't resolve the issue! I asked for the complaints department but after 10 minutes they couldn't transfer me so I thanked them and explained I'd email instead. They then called me back again trying to reverse transfer me back to the original team so clearly they hadn't understood a thing. I gathered evidence of the email offer and upgrade website issues as PDFs and during the tedious support calls I found 3 email addresses for support/compliants via google (Vodafone don't actually publish any ....) Emailing them resulted in no response from two of the address, the 3rd got a response which led to 1.5 hours of calls only to discover Vodafone can't comprehend what offers are actually available, offered me Pro II Full Fibre 1 rather than the promised Pro II Full Fibre 100, and despite this the website T&Cs still specified the wrong router which wouldn't support the Pro II features of 4G backup and WiFi6. so the descriptions are wrong and contradictory in terms of pricing and the equipment supplied. One support person (Sanda) was very helpful and offered to try to provide resolve things to an upgrade which is actually available and fulfills what they offer email specified, but before they returned from holiday a "muppet" (Emma) took over the compliant, and didn't read the information I'd provided or understand what had been discussed and closed my upgrade process/complaint saying I'd refused their offer which is blatantly untrue. Now they won't reopen it, and anway I'm so fed up and disgusted with the "service" provided I've decided to take my business elsewhere. The £3 discount for having a mobile contract and broadband contract is also useless - I can get a SIM card with 2x the data allowance for 1/2 (or even 1/3) of the price with the other major suppliers which also offer better coverage. I'd strongly recommend avoiding Vodafone - other suppliers have coherent offers which can actually be taken out, offer higher DL/UL rates and equipment which actually works reliably, and they also have customer support which actually works.

Worst provider. My voicemail didn't work at all after I did all the setting correctly on my new phone. The shop staff on Chiswick High Rd was not at all helpful saying it was the phone's problem and not Vodafone network problem, but she was completely wrong. When I rang the Vodafone customer service, I couldn't talk to staff. Only chat was available and chat kept disconnected so I had to start all over again and explain everything all over again. They asked me to do the same thing again and again which I had already tried before contacting them. It was such a waste of time. Eventually the technical team fixed it but it took ages. I had another problem in the past with Vodafone. When I was in France I couldn't reveive phonecalls. So I talked to the shop staff back in the UK. They said it was because the bar was set. I asked to lift the bar and they said they did. But I had the same problem when I was back in France again. I still couldn't reveive calls. It took ages to sort out by chat. They said the problem was sorted so I should re-start the phone but it didn't work so I had to go back to chat many times and explain the same things to different staff over and over again. I wouldn't recommend this provider at all. I will switch to another provider myself.

Literally the worst service ever. 5 hours on the phone and 4 hours on online chat trying to sort a broadband order that was placed on 14th Feb and due to activate on 1st March but failed due to their system not placing the order (despite me as the customer receiving an order confirmation). Constant assurances by customer services that activation will be expedited are all lies, tried to arrange equipment to be sent ahead of time to use the 4g backup and this failed to be actioned as well. It’s actually hard to put into words how appealing this service is.
