I would recommend to anyone that is looking for a new phone or contract with vodaphone. TIP FOR EVERYONE, LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE. I've been with Vodaphone 9 year and the last 2 years has been the worst customer service I have ever had in my life. This is about VODAFONE CUSTOMER CARE 191 AND CUSTOMER SERVICE HEAD OFFICE COMPLAINT, THEY ALSO DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO A SAR REQUESTS. 30 DAYS NOW PASSED, CALL VODAPHONE TO BE TOLD NOT ACTION. NEED TO WAIT ANOTHER 30 DAYS POOR POOR SERVICE. STAY WELL AWAY FROM VODAPHONE

Never, ever get any contract with Vodaphone. Their customer service is an absolute nightmare. After many unexpected charges, coming to £60 in the first month, whereas I was only paying £15 for the same usage with giff gaff, I decided to cancel. Thought this would be easy enough as I was not on a contract. However, it took about 90 minutes online answering stupid questions, and it was only when I threatened to report their customer service online that they finally agreed to give me my pac code, only to then tell me that their system is down so they cant give it to me. This was my third attempt to exit this company. I imagine all Vodpahone's customers are just people who have given up. All I can think of now is to cancel my bank cards. Absolute nightmare. Don't go with this company. And don't even get me started about their overseas rates. They charge £6 a day in Australia even if I don't use my phone, and they charge £6 per mb even if I'm not using data, but connected to wifi.

When starting a new mobile contract it's best to block all Direct bills to mobile, Premium bar and International Bar to start, you can always remove the bars later by calling customer service. On new contract or upgrade from 1 October 2018 you can now set a spend limit between £0 - £100 to protect you from unexpected bills as you can always change this in My Vodafone or by calling customer service. Most people on this form don't quite understand what a contract means. You are agreeing to pay them a monthly charge for 1 or 2 years plus any extras charges which you must pay on time. If you cannot guarantee you can afford it for the year(s) don't sign up use pay as you go no excuses please. Look after your phone and insure it, 2 years is a long time paying for something you have broken or had it stolen. I have used Vodafone, O2 (Cellnet), EE (T-Mobile & Orange), Three, Virgin and Tesco for over 26 years and I find now it's easier to buy my phone outright and look for the SIM only deals. It's so easy to change network with a PAC code and your number changes over the next working day and automatically cancels your existing contract.

Vodaphone could not care less about you ever. As a very long term customer, I found myself on the phone to renew my 12 Month Sim only contract. It’s at this point I found out that i had an old sim contract for mobile broadband that had been running since 2011. Now as we all know you have to cancel this or the costs just keep on rolling, so after a short period of time I cancelled this line. but buyer beware Vodaphone did not cancel this agreement and I found out over the period of 7 years I have paid Vodaphone without being aware hundreds of pounds, This is now going to be a legal fight to get back this money, from a company that does not care about you as a customer. Their customer services are pointless , failing to cancel contracts or provide the most basic information, even when this breaks the telecommunications code of conduct. Also complaining to the CEO who has minions answering complaints from his office that actually do nothing but affirm their stance on the matter. Learn the word deadlock this is the name of the letter Vodaphone will have to send you when all your endeavours fail. Just before you enter any agreement with Vodaphone think of the worst pain you have ever experienced then x it by at least 10 and you will have an idea of how you will feel being a Vodaphone customer.

WATCHIT feedback/ VODAFONE who's to… WATCHIT feedback/ vodafone who's to blame?! How can another company charge vodafone and Vodafone charge us without our consent??? WHATCHIT is a scam theft company but its Vodafone who is allowing this from happening. 1. I specifically asked to not go over my monthly SET PHONE ONLY charges 2. no one from Vodafone told me any scam company could easily charge me without me knowing 3. should not Vodafone take some responsibility being such a MASSIVE 'responsible' company...Mmmmm honestly do we need phones I am considering saying goodbye to all this technology that is full of THEFTS! VODAFONE does not even apologies for allowing this to happen and well no one is refunding their costumers the money they stole back!!

My phone wouldn't turn on so Vodafone sent it off for repairs and said they'd email me when it would return. After three weeks of waiting I decided to pop into the store for an update to be told my phone went missing in transit. I was offered a "brand new" phone in replacement. Which should take up to 3 working days and again I would be emailed. 10 days later I decided to pop in after no contact. I was told a phone had arrived for me a few days prior. The phone was second hand a scratched and won't hold its charge. I said I am not happy to pay the monthly bill as they lost my phone and I didn't have one for over a month. I'm told I have to pay it as its a binding contract. Totally appauled with Vodafone. I can't wait till my contract runs out so I can sign with someone else

Horrible service. Tried to get a broadband with them. Took my money, for 3 weeks didn't manage to send me even a broadband though promised after 7 days to make it life. Had to call them 8 times. Be prepared to stay on the line for 40+min. In the end get hand off on you. Had reached a lady in customer service, told that I didn't receive my router, she said ''I will manually order it from you, stay on the line''. I stayed on the line, got disconnected, at once called again, reached some other guy and with same adress he wasn't able to verify me and proposed to go to a local branch to verify my ID. Can you believe? I though ou well, maybe the girl will finish what she has started, she knows what I need. No noone did anything. When I finnally reached them after 3 attempts staying on the line each time 40min. I cancelled the order. And now get the emails that I need to send the router back and if I don't I will be charged 72pounds. It is a total scam not a genuine company. They don't even have an email where you can send a complaint. I understand now why they pay to Virgin so much, because they do their work right.

Service providers cheat me. They don't pick up my call. Vodafone network is very very very low some time there is no signals in my area. I tried many time to reach or connect to customer care but they forgot me. I am very angry on Vodafone service providers.

I have just spent some time on ‘Vodafone Chat’ attempting to explain an issue over their unsolicited text. I probably would have had a more positive result shouting at the wall! Out of frustration, I decided to call 191....a robotic reply encouraged me to try ‘Vodafone Chat’! I thought I was contacting a Global Communications Company...my mistake.

I've had very few problems with Vodafone and they are a good provider. Network signal is usually fine and they're great value for money also. Just one time I had a problem with a charge after agreeing something on the phone, I had to jump through hoops to get it back. Aside from that, no issues.

After a week long wait of investigation into why my fibre 2 broadband so slow at peak times they called me today to say it’s congestion and that it’s not a technical fault.... they say that as I am getting 62 mbps to the router I can’t cancel my account even though they then throttle the broadband to below 10mbps in peak time .... this is a complete rip off and I advise anybody to stir clear of this disgusting service I will be taking my details and evidence to Ofcom 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

My wife had an account for 2 phones-one is mine. We renewed the contract on the phone but mine did not update to new data on the first day of contract. They are thick as they did not understand. We added my name to the account but they still would not deal with me as they had no record of me being added with password and pin no we gave over the phone. They had no record of changes to my phone!! It was renewed at old data settings. When my wife checked her new bill it was more than agreed on the phone on her number. They are either thick or drunk due to xmas. 2 hours on the phone and still not sorted! Sorry if this is sensitive but i cannot understand their accent as they are often asian sounding who gabble and are difficult to understand. If your accent is so strong that it cannot be understood then do something about it. After explaining all our problems one of their staff said "do you want me to do an upgrade?" My wife shouted to him it had been renewed but not correctly!!!! Absolute disaster. Vic

Awful customer service - allowing customers to accidentally spend £280 over their monthly contract amount is unacceptable. Phone has been blocked until my next bill is generated when they will consider resolving this.
