Vodafone took over £600 from my bank account and never returned it. They claimed it was a mistake and only gave it as a credit. They are total crooks and have a huge history of this. If you are planning on switching to Vodafone, STAY AWAY at ALL COSTS. They are total crooks who will take your money and never return it!!! The customer service was appalling and very rude, such crooks.

Have been following up with Vodafone from last 41 days (since 23rd July)...for a correct bill with 10 tweets and 12 emails sent from my end, no response from the company (except the automated ones)... The issue is below:- 1) I have a bill which has an amount of INR 1400 odd figure. There is Amazon prime which is activated since 22nd July. 2) spoke to Vodafone care 4 times to deactivate (1st call on 23rd or 24th). - Nothing done. 3) spoke again after 3-4 days for the correct tbill, false hope given -but nothing done. 4) A reminder call again after 3-4 days for bill correction yet again, a fake promise. 5) Spoke again, where in I was informed to mark an email to Vodafone care. Guys, please check my call record and bring the recording to use and train your staff. It seems you have untrained staff sitting and attending calls as they are not aware about their product and are just giving fake responses to resolve the issue at that very moment. Kindly have some look into this on priority and correct my bill back to normal of 399++ for the month of July, so that I can pay!! #poorcustomerservice. #degraded

I was vodafone client for years, no problem. Then I wanted to upgrade my services but requested a no lock in contract but end up getting it (I was unaware of) then not even a month in, I started to get Vodafone messages saying they were no longer providing service in my area (I am in rural Australia), the messages were quite harass, every fortnight even. Ok, not problem, went to a vodafone shop to make sure if I could change to another mobile provider without incurring in extra payment, they said yes, no problem. NO ONE ever mentioned about getting bill for. Months after a months still getting bills for a SERVICE they hasn't provide and ALSO they forced me to get out of this. CALL CENTER is useless and said to me I shouldn't listen what they said in the vodafone shop!!! I mean are you serious? it's your OWN vodafone team! he said I should just call them, well guess what? when you search the vodafone website, there is no CALL CENTER number! You need to find it other ways. WHAT A AWFUL HORRIBLE SERVICE. It feels like scam!

It'd be so good to be served by someone at Vodafone, who actually speaks English. You can't even get a copy of you're phone records from them.

My 75 yr old hard of hearing mum took out a SIM only contract 3 yrs ago. Old phone, no internet etc. In may phone broke so we rang vodafail to get a new SIM as old one is too big for new phone. They took her through security, that's where the problem start! Date of birth? Fail! ( Whoever did her contract miskeyed incorrect date!) Text to old phone, fail! Doesn't have it and SIM doesn't fit! So they said they couldn't give her a new SIM as failed security so we asked to cancel contract? No! Failed security! So my mum got a new payg SIM from Argos and (ok shouldn't have but.. she's 75 and didn't think) cancelled her direct debit. Next thing she gets is a letter from a debt agency adding on admin fees etc! Of course my mum had no clue as vodafail were probably sending texts to old SIM! I have called them with her about 5 times now and they won't do anything until she passes security! OMG!!!! They just don't get it! I've put in a complaint and they called my mum but....wait for it! Won't discuss her complaint as she can't pass security! FFS! That's what the complaint is about!!!! Each time she speaks to someone they are Indian and have an accent that as a hard of hearing pensioner, she cannot hear what they are saying! I'm now having to take her into store with ID to prove they have input incorrect details! All the time, the debt is adding up! She's really upset and stressed as never ever been in debt before. I swear I feel sorry for the guys instore as they are really going to cop for it!!!

I would like to express disgust in your customer service/accounts teams. They have been incapable of resolving an issue that has been ongoing for 8 months now. I have been receiving text messages and e-mails for "my next invoice", but we left Vodafone back in November 2019. Every single operator I spoke to, confirmed this and that these charges were "a technical error". This managed to affect my credit score from excellent to poor! Every time, I am put on hold, told the charges have been removed and this will not happen again. I just received another text message for my next bill and I do not have the strength or motivation, seeing that it does not make any difference. Received a phone call after e-mailing the CEO Nick. Nothing different as a resolution than before. Fingers crossed not to hear from these thieves again!

VODAFONE! WHAT A LOAD OF GARBAGE! Their broadband and home phone service to a NEW customer is DIABOLICAL!! And to top it off, the woman who cancelled my subscription, put a cancellation on my line without telling me until the 1st of September, so now I cannot get a service from anyone 🤬 way to stick it to your customers Vodafone UK... STINKS!!! - didn't inform me I could cancel with immediate effect or get my new provider to take over the line instead. First and last time I will ever be speaking to them about anything! Engineer deciding not to turn up, original hub sent faulty, no new hub sent, no one called me back even when I arranged a call back. What a waste of space company. I feel sorry for anyone tied in for 2years. Glad I got out when I did after only 2 and a half weeks. Karma's a *****.. hope all your staff who don't give a damn about taking peoples money and setting them up for a fall get it in spades!!!

Avoid at all costs or it will cost you. I’ve been a long term customer with Vodafone with 4 sims on my account. My bills sit at around £150 per month. Since upgrading with Vodafone nearly 2 years ago I’ve had virtually no service both mobile broadband and voice calls on 2 of the sims. I’ve spent 18 months trying to get it fixed, I’ve logged so many calls to Vodafone that I stopped logging the call time at 20hours. They couldn’t fix the problem but were happy to keep taking money from me. The life of the contract would end up costing me £4000. I’ve worked out that I’ve only been able to use around 3% of the data promised to me. I understand that you don’t get great coverage everywhere but I’m just not getting the service I’ve paid for. 3 months ago I bought a secondhand phone and a sim from Giff gaff so people could contact me. Vodafone have let me and my family down by not providing what they promised, their end of the bargain was not held up. If I had held payments they would kill my credit rating. I didn’t bother taking it to the ombudsman as they refuse to sign with Offcom and hide behind CICAS, so it was not worth my time. Please be aware that these guys are poor on customer service and support. Look elsewhere. To follow up on the reply from Vodafone, this is indicative of their service, they didn’t even read the review! I’ve tried for 18months! Social media team, call centres, and several stores! No one has fixed it. They are happy to take your money but can’t provide the service. Run for the hills.

Joined vodafone 2 months ago and am now desperate to be let out of my contract, in the short time I have been with them they could not have been worse. They are utterly incompetent, negligent and misleading. I phoned up to enquire about phones while in the middle of the move, was offered a slight discount to switch and told it would be easy. I mentioned the move several times and was told it wouldn't be a problem. It was a major problem. 2 months later I have a fraud entry on my credit report, after being left without a phone for weeks during lockdown (they cancelled delivery without saying anything), the phone they have sent me already had a button fall off, I have been misbilled, and the delivery company shows up on different DAYS, to the wrong address, to what I have been told on the phone. I now need to send the phone back and hand over my current to the delivery company, without being able to transfer my phone data over to the new phone. Customer service has been very unhelpful, every time I talk to them something else goes wrong. They will tell me one thing, then something different happens. I don't want to talk to them anymore, I just want to give them the phone back and be let out of my contract. I want one week where I don't need to spend hours on the phone with vodafone. Tempted to counterbill for the time wasted if it would help me out of this contract. Do not choose vodafone. No deal is worth it. 3 will match any deal, provides much better service and is aware of its own internals, i wish I'd never left.

Its a really third class network, my internet not even working still showing me 4g i think u have to work more too make strong network not on the advertisement

In my both the number 9634239230 and 9717706059 network is not coming what you have done in varanasi. I have to attend urgent calls. Now the network come I will definitely port my number You peoples are cheating your customeres before early information

I am using Vodafone idea postpaid internet connection.my number is 9087725142 . I am requesting to deactivate my postpaid internet connection 3month before. But they are not disconnecting and keep on generating bill to pay. I asked customer care. They are very very rude and not giving proper response.. looks like they wanted to drag time to generate bill every month.. their ultimate plan should be like cheating me by generating bill every month, not processing my request. Looks like they are not running internet proving company..they behave like cheap fraud, cheaters, smugglers. They are even not listening to my query. They don't know how to treat customer. Till now my internet connection is not deactivated. I am feeling frustrated..I prefer everyone please don't go with cheating Vodafone idea internet... They are fraud.. they will cheat you for money..

THEY ARE NICE IN THE SHOP, EASY TO JOIN BUT LIKE A SNAKE NOT SO EASY TO LEAVE . THEY WILL BITE YOU . NOT LET YOU LEAVE AND TAKE YOUR MONEY. AND SEND IN THE DEBT COLLECTORS ANT TAKE YOUR BELONGINGS . A NASTY COMPANY .
