Worse provider at the moment! Do not sign up with Vodafone if you want a terrible service and signal. I have had nothing but problems for the past 9 months. I was promised great coverage where I live but that was clearly dishonest. The signal has been poor for 9 months and when I actually get a signal calls would drop out. I have had no compensation, I can't wait to end my contract.

Applied for a new contract on 17th Dec which got declined supposedly based on my credit rating but my credit rating is the max possible and in fact there is no trace of Vodafone having even checked it. Spoken to numerous people and no one can tell me why I was rejected. They are a complete shambles, I wouldn't pursue a contract with them now anyway and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone either.

Everything. Double-billing and other overcharges. Appalling customer service. Departments that can't figure out what other departments are doing. You name it.

I wouldn't even give them 1 star ! I have two contracts with them - unfortunately ! one came to an end at the end of November, so I wanted to change my iphone over onto the one that was still going, and put the other phone onto pay as you go, after speaking to 3 different people, having great difficulty doing so, I eventually - after about 35 - 40 minuts, got someone who could actually understand English ! he said, yes thats fine, you'll need to give thirty days notice - which I did, and was told to call back on the 28th of December (2016), which I did, BUT, after being on the phone for an hour and 5 minutes, I spoke with 5 different people - in 5 different counties I'm sure, no-one knew what I was talking about, even although I KNOW I explained things VERY clearly, no-one could really help me !! I asked for a supervisor or manager to call me, I was told that someone would call later same day, well NO surprise, I didn't get a call, so I called again, 24 hours later on the 29th December (2016), once again, I spoke with several people in several countries, and still no-one could help me, I was told by someone to go into a store, ok, I though, so I popped into one of the main stores in Edinburgh, explained my situation again, and that I'd spent over two hours on the phone - having to explain this each and every time to each new person !! she could see on the notes on my account that this had been arranged on the 28th November (2016) an couldn't understand why no-one knew what I was talking about, as she said it is very clear, BUT, she says, this cant be done in store !!! you must phone and speak with the "disconnection team" so I went home, called once again, and after having to explain my situation yet once more, I was told, OH, this cant be done !! you will need to give 30 days notice ! I said I did that on the 28th November, he said, but "SIR" that was up yesterday - you will have to give another 30 days notice, so, I once again asked for a manager to call me, I was told someone will call you later today, but, as per usual, NO-ONE did. So I am still left hanging here ! So, I called yet again on 3 January (2017) had to explain my situation yet again, and yet again, this person who was in Israel, didnt know how to help me, I asked for a manager to call me back, I was told someone would call me within 1 hour, I asked whats his name, he said his name is Richard, he is a manager and he will call you within 1 hour, guess what, still no-one has called. They are unbelievably pathetic, and seriously DO NOT care, once they have you on contract, they totally wipe their hands on you. BUT, I found out yesterday, I have been over charged by just over £22 ? so I had to call the billing team, and guess what, the guy coulnt help me ( he was also in Israel) I mentioned my ongoing problem and have already requested - 3 times, for a manager to call me,but no-one has, he said he will make sure someone does call me, but, guess what, No-One has called me still. But, I received text messages from Vodafone, asking my rating from 0 to 10 on various things about my call, so I gave them a zero for all questions, SO less than an hour later, I get a call from Vodafone asking why I gave zero's on the questions, so I was explaining my situation, and - the guy called Jason, hung up on me !! I tried to call the number back, but it doesn't receive incoming calls !! I have never ever received such pathetic / extremely bad customer service ANYWHERE in my entire life ! Even the guy in a well know nationwide phone shop, said to me when I was looking at new phones, "whatever you do, DON'T go with Vodafone, !! I looked at him, and asked why, he said their customer service is so so bad, he said I (unfortunately) have to call them often on a customers behalf, and they are just so terrible !!, also in a well know supermarket yesterday inquiring about their deals, and the girl says, "stay away from Vodafone" I asked why, she said she has been overcharged, and had been on the phone just earlier that day for over an hour, and still no-one could help her or sort it out, she has stopped her payments. They are pathetic beyond belief !! So,, it appears they have the worst complaints to off-com then any other provider ! BE WARNED - STAY CLEAR OF VODAFONE FOLKS.

Vodafone have the worst customer service department I have ever experienced. Took a contract out for 24 months for my son, he lost the phone, we continued to pay the monthly amount until it ended. Rang and cancelled the contract and cancelled the direct debit only after the last payment went out in Sept 2016. Vodafone continued to bill the monthly amount, rang and explained the contract had been cancelled in August 2016, they apologised and said they would make sure the contract is cancelled and clear any balance. Guess what they have now billed me for December 2016, rang again yesterday another 50 minute phone call, I asked for email confirmation that this has been done. They emailed me with thank you for your call we have now unblocked calls for premium rate numbers! Call them again this morning went through everything, finally received and email confirming the account is closed and there is no outstanding balance on the account. Vodafone are the worst mobile company ever, don't ever use them!!!

They charged for extra 5 gb data while was not using net at all. phone was switched off. when turned on after 5 hours after reaching home from work there was message in every 30 mins interval saying close to finish the data so adding another extra 1 gb. $50 dollor extra for 5 gb while was not using the phone at all. Rang them straight away after seing the message and extra charge they very rude and said had to pay. because I should have used otherwise they wouldn't add. I d to wait more thn 40 minutes to get the line woth customer service they keep transferring to other but never resolve the problems. will say will call you back in 24 hours but never ring. very bad service. I end my Vodafone account. never suggest anyone to go with Vodafone.

Dont go with Vodafone!! If you want to close your account, they charge you even if they said it is free to close your account. They tell you your account is closed, when it isnt..They then send your charge on to a debt collector, and claim they sent a letter stating this, they didnt! The 'head office' staff are awful! On the phone getting passed from departments, for 1hr 23 mins then they cut you off! So many people have had this problem! My brother had a problem 10 years ago and they don't seem to have improved! DON'T GO WITH THEM

Appalling customer service, accused me of lying, questioned what I thought I would gain from calling up to make a complaint about some other service I received. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. They overcharged me after assuring me that some charges would not be taken and that they had been refunded, but then they took them anyway. They are just con artists hoping that people wont notice things like this and then they never fix it when people do notice and want their money back!

The staff member in the Vodafone shop who sold me the phone was very pleasant and attentive. He confirmed that to unlock the phone I would only need to activate it and 30 days later I could fill in the form to apply for the unlocking. I did that. And I filled in the form. I got an automated email that I haven't been with them for 30 days. I filled the form again - same response. I emailed them (hoping to speak with a real human being), I got a differently phrased response with the same contents. Again and again. And there's been no development on the issue yet! I was planning to get another phone from them. But not anymore!

Vodafone customer service is the worst I have ever come across! They dont listen, they are useless, dont do anything you ask, dont even try to solve the problem so you end up ringing up constantly to be told something different everytime! Set up a pin, in store...doesnt work. Changed my address with them, they changed the wrong thing! Ive been charged for my partners phone insurance for the last 2 years because their incapable of fixing the simplest o things. Absolutely appalling customer service, will be canceling contract with them once its up!

1 star is being nice, the customer service is appalling. Do not take actions on promises, Sales mislead to get the sale. Complaints procedure non-existent and very obstructive. No callbacks, give false timescales, I could go on. Already won case with Ombudsman will go again, people need to stand up to this company!

Nice people who tried to help. However simply could fix my data not working and simply made it worse by then making it so I had no service telling me would be fixed in 24-48 hr period. This would be then 7th day without me having a phone and quite frankly i doubt they would fix my data in the end. To rub some salt in the wounds the 191 number provided did not work as if you out your number in it , it would hang up on you which is a very nice touch. The online chat people were equally useless as would not give me a number other than 191 to call despite telling them it didn't work. Due to me having 7 days without a home it has left me constricted to my house as cant reach out to anyone so have plenty of time to write bad reviews unfortunately. Just a shite company to be honest and will be changing my carrier.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I don't know why I was expecting an agent on the phone to be honest and helpful, result - I ended up with a lock-in contract of 12 month which I never agreed to, couldn't cancel it afterwards without horrendous surcharges. Cancellation after the 12 months period has to be done a month upfront and can't be done previously - I will end up having this on my mind for another couple of month. Also, online performance is in my point of view very bad. Log-in process a pain and limited changes possible online.

I've recently been overcharged £77 for allegedly going over my 30GB by 2GB. This is a fact that I'm certain did not happen as I only used the mobile wi-fi dongle for 2 weeks and didn't stream anything big, on top of this I kept an eye on the data being used. The customer complaints department are incompetent, offering me a £20 'goodwill' gesture. This is definitely not good enough as it's akin to being robbed £77 and being given back £20. I've asked for an email detailing my usage and they can't even send that out to me. TERRIBLE COVERAGE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
