Ordered 30 packs of flooring. Text tating that they would deliver between 0800 and 1300. Never turned up, no calls, nothing. Poor customer services couldnt give me a date for delivery. Avoid Wickes, pity I didnt take the time to read these reviews before I ordered. You have been warned !

I have written before and nothing. Did have a kitchen design but realise taking piss. Stupidly paid for new kitchen when not great service. Tried to get money back within 14 days but nothing. Fitter got in touch late and no calls back etc. Also then on holiday. I cannot take a holiday as being scammed out of money left, right & centre. Please can my money be refunded. Am looking at legal action otherwise. Thanks

Terrible experience with wickes. I took advantage of the 15% off over Easter and ordered a load of guttering for one of my jobs. I organised doing this work the day after the delivery date. 2 sections were click and collect only so went to my local store to collect them and got the rest delivered. The bulk of the order came from slough store. I was shocked and appauled when it turned up. The courier opened his van and the whole lot was loose floating around in his van and with over 50 items most of them gutter joiners and clips it took a while to gather them up. I couldn't believe no one had the common sense to bag them up at least. Then when checking the items loads of them were wrong. I had ordered all squareline guttering and somehow some were roundline. I was busy so the courier said he would take the incorrect items back and unload the rest. When I went back to move what he had delivered they were scratched to pieces where they had been sliding around in his van. Then a parcel arrived with the rest of the order from their depot. What a surprise that was incorrect too. I couldn't believe how one order could go so wrong. I believe there saying is "WICKES, LETS DO IT RIGHT" well I couldn't of been more wrong if you tried. Was an absolute joke and I had to rush to organise work for the days I planned on guttering. I contacted their customer services and they said they would email slough store and get them to get in contact with me. I just didn't want the same thing to happen to anyone else. He said slough store would contact me and he would follow it through and get back to me. I said I would return the lot to my local store as it was beyond using. I mean what a waste of products. I wasted my time ordering the guttering, spent ages on the phone several times then had to return the lot to the store. I ordered if for delivery as would save me time but my god what a waste of my time it turned out to be. All they could do is offer me an apology and no one ever got back to me not from slough store or customer services. Avoid wickes delivery service at all costs.

Ordered a radiator from them on the 18/4/17 and they promised to deliver the next day between 8am and 6pm HA HA HA no sign of delivery. Received a text from their shitty delivery company called DX saying issues with the network and delivery will be attempted the next day20/4/17 between 8am and 12pm. water the whole day and gave a call to DX expecting to get an answer where my radiator is? Alison the useless lady at the phone kept on making excuses : you should have recieved your order by now, oh sorry your order will be delivered tomorrow, I can't get hold of the delivery person, your order has been sent but it doesn't show on our system, I will call you back as soon as I get trough to the delivery person. on and on and on not one straight answer. waited for her call but nothing. Called Wickes customer service and they have no clue about where my order is or when will it be delivered. they promised it will be delivered by the end of the day before 6pm, so I waited but no sign at all, called wicked again and they promise that I will definitely get my delivery between 8am and 1pm the following day. Today 21/4/17, 14:35 and no sign of a delivery called wickes for an answer but they had none. called DX and Alison the useless lady had no clue and asked me if I can take the delivery the following day. my answer is no useless lady you can take the order back. ordered from Scewfix 5 more radiators yesterday and they kept me posted on every move and updated me with every single detail of the purchase as well as the delivery. I received the delivery this morning as they promised and sent me a text to review their service 10 out of 10. ParcelForce 10 out of 10 Wickes 0 out of 10 DX -10 out of 10 Alison the useless lady who her best excuse (sorry I was in meetings all morning and I don't have a direct contact to our delivery drivers) need replacing or the best thing to do is close DX for good. I think Wickes is going out of business and it shows in their stores and their services. Wickes if you are going out of business, good riddance as I will never be shopping with you again.

Absolutely appalling! We are now into the 6th week of having our kitchen re-fitted and Wickes still can't the correct work tops delivered! No problems with the builders, they have been great but this is so frustrating, how hard can it be. Don't go there!

Purchased a kitchen recently. Looked good but seriously let down by the fitter they supplied who did not stand by his promises so I ended up with an incomplete job. Customers services did not want to know and took no responsibility yet it was their sub-contractor. Think twice.

We waited from 8am to 6pm for 52 packets of flooring and the delivery did not arrive; five calls to customer service and were told variously (a) the delivery could not possibly arrive that day and that the store had been mistaken to say that it would arrive that day, (b) that the delivery people had been at the flat and taken a photograph of the outside but that there was no one in, and (c) that they would chase and get a time slot for us, but with no response. We're still waiting.

Failed to deliver.! Spent all day indoors waiting for delivery. Items did not arrive. Have been told they cannot chase up delivery firm or even offer me a time slot at the least. A whole day wasted yesterday, still waiting!

The store arranged the delivery of a large quantity of flooring for the date we wanted. But the delivery never happened, and the online service centre said the order could not have been made for the date we specified. Except we have a printout with that date on it. As of this moment we have no idea when the flooring will arrive. The store blames the online service, the online service blames the store. That's it. Do. Not. Use. Wickes.

I ordered a lot of materials to strip out and fit a new bathroom. I was given a delivery date and time, and sadly, the items did no turn up. What did turn up was an email saying the delivery had been made, along with a signature. I've gone through customer services, which could only email the shop to find out what was going on. I'm still waiting for call backs regarding where my items are, and what they're going to do about this situation.

I have never had a worse online ordering experience than with Wickes. 1st attempt I ordered online as the bath I wanted was not available in my local store. Online said the bath was in stock. I proceeded witht the order and was given 6 day delivery turnaround. On delivery day I got a call from my local stor to say they didn't have it in stock. They could get it from another store, but couldn't say when. We had arranged for the bath to be fitted that weekend. Cancelled the order, got a refund and decided to place a click and collect order with one of their other stores that did have the bath in stock. I received order confirmation which said I would get a text in about an hour to confirm the item was ready to collect. About 3 hours later I called to find out what was going on as I was getting ready to go and collect it (about 16 miles away). They said sorry, we do have two in stock but both are damaged. The best thing we can do is refund you. So, back to square one again!! No bath. What I don't understand is why a national company cannot arrange a delivery for someone who had ordered an item online from anywhere other than the local store. Wickes provided me witht the delivery date giving them about 5 days to get my bath to me from wherever they had stock. Shocking customer service!!!!!

I recently purchased 3 tins of their own label trade brilliant white gloss For anyone thinking of doing the same, don't. It's not white and is not a patch on crown or indeed b and q own label, it's an off white colour and I've had to do the whole job again At least they gave me my money back in store but not the tin I had used. Very poor and one to be avoided

Firstly I need to point out that I have not purchased from Wickes, I am simply the innocent neighbour of someone that did. So, how can I give this terrible company one star? Well, it's quite simple really - because over a month ago I had the audacity to complain to them about their HGV driver who felt it appropriate to drive over part of my front lawn leaving deep tyre impressions that are still there even though more than four weeks have passed. It may seem trivial I know, but as far as I am concerned my lawn is damaged. It was never bowling green flat but at least I could easily mow it with a standard garden lawn mower which I am now not able to do. Yesterday I contacted them by telephone as I had not heard back from my initial communication, I had allowed them a little over four weeks to respond. I was informed by a young woman that I would hear back from them the same afternoon, alas I have not and doubt that I will. Don't get me wrong, I know it's a lawn, and not really that important, well not as important as giving good customer service anyway, but it's the principle of the matter. What if the damage HAD been greater, would they still keep their head in the sand? I guess that's their policy, "run away"

I have made two orders on line in the past three months. Both orders were for two radiators. In January the first of two radiators ( a towel rail) was delivered only to discover the packaging had been opened and fittings removed. After phones I had to return to the radiator to Bournemouth store to be given a replacement. Meanwhile, the second radiator did not arrive within the 5 working days with a plumber on site to install it. After phones it was finally delivered late. The second order was also for a towel rail (half price in a sale) and a larger radiator. The website stated the Bournemouth store had two towel rails quoted in the the sale in store and ready for collection. I paid online, only to receive a phone call later to say the store had none in stock and I may have to wait for two weeks of more. Fortunately, a few days later I received a text to say that the radiator. And surprise surprise, the promise of receiving the larger radiator within 5 working days elapsed for a second time. Wickes and its supplies make false promises that they cannot deliver on. Very poor service all round

Excellent Service Problems with overcharging by your company but soon sorted after a telephone call. Prompt and efficient delivery. Young man who delivered the compost was very polite and courteous and extremely helpful as he carried the bags to exactly where we wanted them and was a credit to your firm. We will have no hesitation in recommending Wickes to our friends and relatives as a result of your all round good service
