Purchased a kitchen recently. Looked good but seriously let down by the fitter they supplied who did not stand by his promises so I ended up with an incomplete job. Customers services did not want to know and took no responsibility yet it was their sub-contractor. Think twice.

We waited from 8am to 6pm for 52 packets of flooring and the delivery did not arrive; five calls to customer service and were told variously (a) the delivery could not possibly arrive that day and that the store had been mistaken to say that it would arrive that day, (b) that the delivery people had been at the flat and taken a photograph of the outside but that there was no one in, and (c) that they would chase and get a time slot for us, but with no response. We're still waiting.

Failed to deliver.! Spent all day indoors waiting for delivery. Items did not arrive. Have been told they cannot chase up delivery firm or even offer me a time slot at the least. A whole day wasted yesterday, still waiting!

The store arranged the delivery of a large quantity of flooring for the date we wanted. But the delivery never happened, and the online service centre said the order could not have been made for the date we specified. Except we have a printout with that date on it. As of this moment we have no idea when the flooring will arrive. The store blames the online service, the online service blames the store. That's it. Do. Not. Use. Wickes.

I ordered a lot of materials to strip out and fit a new bathroom. I was given a delivery date and time, and sadly, the items did no turn up. What did turn up was an email saying the delivery had been made, along with a signature. I've gone through customer services, which could only email the shop to find out what was going on. I'm still waiting for call backs regarding where my items are, and what they're going to do about this situation.

I have never had a worse online ordering experience than with Wickes. 1st attempt I ordered online as the bath I wanted was not available in my local store. Online said the bath was in stock. I proceeded witht the order and was given 6 day delivery turnaround. On delivery day I got a call from my local stor to say they didn't have it in stock. They could get it from another store, but couldn't say when. We had arranged for the bath to be fitted that weekend. Cancelled the order, got a refund and decided to place a click and collect order with one of their other stores that did have the bath in stock. I received order confirmation which said I would get a text in about an hour to confirm the item was ready to collect. About 3 hours later I called to find out what was going on as I was getting ready to go and collect it (about 16 miles away). They said sorry, we do have two in stock but both are damaged. The best thing we can do is refund you. So, back to square one again!! No bath. What I don't understand is why a national company cannot arrange a delivery for someone who had ordered an item online from anywhere other than the local store. Wickes provided me witht the delivery date giving them about 5 days to get my bath to me from wherever they had stock. Shocking customer service!!!!!

I recently purchased 3 tins of their own label trade brilliant white gloss For anyone thinking of doing the same, don't. It's not white and is not a patch on crown or indeed b and q own label, it's an off white colour and I've had to do the whole job again At least they gave me my money back in store but not the tin I had used. Very poor and one to be avoided

Firstly I need to point out that I have not purchased from Wickes, I am simply the innocent neighbour of someone that did. So, how can I give this terrible company one star? Well, it's quite simple really - because over a month ago I had the audacity to complain to them about their HGV driver who felt it appropriate to drive over part of my front lawn leaving deep tyre impressions that are still there even though more than four weeks have passed. It may seem trivial I know, but as far as I am concerned my lawn is damaged. It was never bowling green flat but at least I could easily mow it with a standard garden lawn mower which I am now not able to do. Yesterday I contacted them by telephone as I had not heard back from my initial communication, I had allowed them a little over four weeks to respond. I was informed by a young woman that I would hear back from them the same afternoon, alas I have not and doubt that I will. Don't get me wrong, I know it's a lawn, and not really that important, well not as important as giving good customer service anyway, but it's the principle of the matter. What if the damage HAD been greater, would they still keep their head in the sand? I guess that's their policy, "run away"

I have made two orders on line in the past three months. Both orders were for two radiators. In January the first of two radiators ( a towel rail) was delivered only to discover the packaging had been opened and fittings removed. After phones I had to return to the radiator to Bournemouth store to be given a replacement. Meanwhile, the second radiator did not arrive within the 5 working days with a plumber on site to install it. After phones it was finally delivered late. The second order was also for a towel rail (half price in a sale) and a larger radiator. The website stated the Bournemouth store had two towel rails quoted in the the sale in store and ready for collection. I paid online, only to receive a phone call later to say the store had none in stock and I may have to wait for two weeks of more. Fortunately, a few days later I received a text to say that the radiator. And surprise surprise, the promise of receiving the larger radiator within 5 working days elapsed for a second time. Wickes and its supplies make false promises that they cannot deliver on. Very poor service all round

Excellent Service Problems with overcharging by your company but soon sorted after a telephone call. Prompt and efficient delivery. Young man who delivered the compost was very polite and courteous and extremely helpful as he carried the bags to exactly where we wanted them and was a credit to your firm. We will have no hesitation in recommending Wickes to our friends and relatives as a result of your all round good service

Ordered replacement fitted bathroom and change bath for shower bath. Don't know what designer did not understand but I have toilet jammed against bath which is not easy to use and has left no access to bath either in or out. It is unsafe for me to use so I will now have to pay to get toilet and basin removed and refitted where the original ones were. The boxing in of toilet is double the size that it was, it is higher and deeper bringing toilet nigh into middle of bathroom. Never use Cambridge Wickes, they are inefficient and rude at customer service. This bathroom has cost me a total of £7550 and I cannot use the bath/shower.

I went in to Waltham cross store yesterday to purchase some fence paint and I'm so glad that I did. Fantastic customer service from both Wade and Max. They were very helpful and guided me into buying the best product for me and the right quantity at a great price. Excellent customer services.

Tried to purchase a bathroom suite in Newcastle store today. Can only sell everything individually unlike a couple of weeks before when I checked the price for the whole suite now coming out more expensive. After reading the poor reviews on delivery I think I've had a lucky escape. I did find the whole experience a bit frustrating as the prices seemed to include installation and looked very expensive compared to a couple of weeks ago. Now going to buy somewhere else.

We've been into Wickes, Haverfordwest Store three times in the past two days and been served by Kingsley. He is professional and happy to give a good service and we compliment you on your choice of staff, he is an asset to the store.

Went into Northampton store this morning to buy some plastic quadrant. Couldn't find it assumed no stock. Staff did not seem to know what it was, very unhelpful. Went into B&Q guy at the entrance pointed me straight to it
