Terrible customer service. I wss ping pongd from customer service to store then delivery team. Told I would get call back and wasn't. All because I was sent tiles from different batch codes and i was trying to get all tiles the same. Eventually got tiles sent 5 days later and incurred additional costs as I wanted to make sure my builders don't take on other projects and leave me without a toilet and bath tub. Wickes refuse to do anything about this. Steer clear. Very unprofessional

Since changing Wickes stores to collect and pay they have completley lost the plot. Un-helpful staff who refer competent tradespeople to locate things in their 'laminated book of dreams' instead of real customer service. I will go elsewhere, either a dedicted builders merchant, electrical wholsale, plumbers merchant. Even Toolstation who have a smililar laminated book setup are far more helpful. If I want to flick through a book I will spend my time in Argos. When I want to pick up someting quickly from a building supply chain store it wont be from Wickes anymore. I tried to buy some electrical items (Some cable and sockets) I had a list in my hand. I was told that I need to look up the product codes in their book. I said I know exatcly what I want. The reply was 'look it up in the book' I said I know exatcly what I want. 'but I would have to look up the codes for you' Bad Customer Service. = No more buisness from me. Wickes used to okay. Things change.

Not a good experience, ordered a bathroom suite with P shaped bath - See here http://www.wickes.co.uk/Wickes-Priveno-with-Asuni-Right-Hand-Shower-Bath/p/144036#tab-reviews_content First thing to be aware of is that the suite is from a "supplier" not Wickes itself. On the day of delivery the Sink was missing! Was told I had to phone customer service and arrange another delivery. Had to fight to get this delivered within a few days. ( they wanted weeks") The suite itself installed ok (fitted by professionals) and quality is acceptable, until we got to the shower screen..... Firstly they sent a left hand shower seal bath kit for a right handed bath. Again I had to phone customer services, who then put me in contact with the "Kitchen and Bath" customer services so I could arrange for the correct items to be shipped. Again this took another few days to arrive as it comes from the "supplier" not Wickes (which they are keen to point out) Once fitted the shower screen leaks around the hinge. The hinge design seems poor and water can get between the seal and hinge system. I rang the "kitchen and Bathroom" services number who kept me on hold while they rang the "supplier" to see what could be done. They advised there was no answer from the supplier so they said they would email them and get back to me later that day. Needless to say no one got back to me so the next day I called again and the person I spoke to said there was no record of the initial conversation and so asked around the team. She got back to me to advise that the person who was going to call me had gone for the day and that I would be called tomorrow. Needless to say this never happened. So, a lot of clear sealant later and I think it is as good as I am going to get it without assistance from Wickes or the "supplier". Based on my experience and the issues with the shower screen I could not recommend this to anyone. My other tip would be if you choose to by anything through Wickes clarify if the item is supplied by themselves or a "supplier"

Due to a computer error at Wickes, they took the money from my account but did not process it and so cancelled delivery without returning the money. Five days later I got the money back by reporting to my bank's fraud department. Ihave had payment issues with them previously and won't use them again because they refused to help.

Ordered Oak Floor and membrane, (both Wickes own brand) and Westco underlay on 17th October. The first two items arrived fine on 19th. But not the underlay. We had 2 text messages from Wickes asking if there was a delivery (YES) and if everything was delivered, to which we clearly replied NO. That was it. No further corrrespondance from Wickes at all. Emailed on the 24th to complain, and again today - morning of the 26th, but met with a resounding silence. Where is our underlay? As far as customer service goes, they rate a zero.

I ordered a number of units for a kitchen 40 days ago. After initial delivery a number of items were missing or damaged. Since then there have been a long list of errors: 1. Delivery attempt 2 didn't happen because they 'forgot' to schedule it 2. Delivery attempt 3 didn't happen because their systems failed and planned it for the wrong date 3. Delivery attempt 4 didn't happen because 'all the items in the store are damaged' On all occasions they didn't tell me anything until I chased them so I have wasted 4 days waiting for deliveries. I have a half complete kitchen and wickes cannot care less as they have taken my money so they are done.

Ordered material 8 days ago for delivery tomorrow, was contacted by WIckes today to explain that the items ordered online should not be on the web site and should not have beenj sold. Not ideal to be told the day before a delivery. Plant on hire, labour booked, client very unhappy. Customer fuming, will never walk into a WIckes again, disgrace.

I ordered over £1k of wood flooring and given a delivery date, 03/10/16, I took the day of work only to to get a phone call stating that wicks was "very sorry" but 10 packs of my 40 packs of flooring, was "left in their rear yard" and that they could deliver the next day 04/10/16 On the next delivery a totally different type of flooring arrived, on calling wicks all I got was a another "sorry" and told they were out of stock till the next day 05//10/16 so they could redeliver on 07/10/16 which was no acceptable as I was not taking a third day off work, so delivery has been arraigned for Saturday 08/10/16 with no time slot. So all in all I've taken 2 days of work sent my builder away and have to live with a stripped floor, probably until Monday 10/10/16 and all I get is "SORRY". Not good enough

As you can see by the numerous complaints Wickes have had, they are not a company that should be trusted. I've been left with a disaster of a bathroom and their customer service is very unprofessional.

Rating should be lower than 1. Most rubbish company I've ever dealt with. Non existent communications. Read all the reviews on this site everyone else says the same.

Since they changed the store so that the majority of items have to be ordered from the catalogue it has made shopping at Wickes difficult. You have to go through the catalogue and find the item(s) then mark them on the order sheet & take to the counter. Someone will then fetch them. If you want to compare several items it is extremely frustrating for you and the staff. I find it easier to go to B&Q.

I rarely had such a bad customer experience and at every possible touch points : 1. Locating and accessing Wickes. Address and opening hours on Google maps really should specify that the Battersea store only does Kitchen & Bathroom. I had to take another cab to go to Wimbledon. Another client was in the same situation. 2. Shopping at Wickes Wimbledon store on a Sunday afternoon. Unless you are desperate to achieve your plans, and have time and a lot of patience, avoid this experience by all means. Until Chaze came to help, I received extremely poor service. The whole point of going to a store versus ordering online is to have advice and comments on products. This was simply not available. Someone from the reception desk went out for the shop floor to fetch someone who could help me. After 5 minutes waiting, he came back with an adviser who had first indicated to me he wasn't able to help. Later on, I asked again for help as the store was closing and I was getting really edgy to still be at the store with so little help and still needed to find one drill. One person refused to help because the "store was closed" (I had a whole bunch of materials on the trolley next to me). Thankfully, a couple of staff members were a bit savvier in terms of customer service, and thanks to them I was able to find what I needed. 3. Website. After coming home, I realised I didn't buy enough timber and the drill didn't come with drill bits. The website is as useless as most staff I met in the store. No info on drill bits sizes. 4. Telephone. I just called to know what size were the drill bits in the set advertised on the website. The customer service line didn't know and asked me (after I had waited for 5 minutes to have someone) to contact the store directly. I then contacted the store where a shop adviser put me on hold to go check the set directly. She was gone for quite some time so another sales assistant picked up the phone, unaware of my previous conversation, asking how they could help. After I indicated I was already taken care of, the line just cut. I called back (wondering why, really, at this stage!), and the lady I spoke to earlier said she couldn't find the set and would call me back once she got a chance to check the warehouse. I think this is the first time ever I write a review on a store. I'm actually quite flabbergasted but the poverty of this customer service. Hope the management will read that and sort it out. Current set up is designed to draw customers to competitors.
