Terrible customer service, staff very RUDE and do not care about customer service. Should be avoided if at all possible. Arranged mutually convenient delivery day, told would be am slot, rang after being passed from pillar to post and wasting time on the telephone (sure was left hanging on for 15 minutes on purpose) only to be told was not happening on the day so it will the next day. Spoke to a very RUDE Maidstone manager who, said it would be an all day waiting time and I could complain if I wanted to as it would only come to him. What an unprofessional attitude. It is almost as though they are providing a service for free. Waited and surprise, surprise NO DELIVERY. Upon ringing again, wasting at least 30 minutes on the telephone and speaking to about three people and threatening to complain to OMBUDSMAN got boards delivered the next morning. Also had to delay workman and wasted two days at home. Would even give 1 star as completely unsatisfactory behaviours by Wickes Maidstone Branch staff.

Such a terrible experience using Wickes to install my kitchen. I would urge anyone to stay away from them. Terrible quality fitting. It took 4 visits and 2 fitters. Under cabinet lighting taped up with masking tape, poor cutting, units damaged, fridge freezer plumbed incorrectly, diffferent colour grouting and poor grouting and the list goes on. The installation manager described it as 'normal snagging!' Slow - Was told it would take 7 working days but still not finished nearly 3 months later as flue doesn't work Untrustworthy - given incorrect information that I had to check with independent fitter Terribly over priced for the service you get Terrible customer service - complaint responded to by email with a 'computer says no' type answer. No empathy and understanding for the experience you've had and appreciation of how disappointed you are when you've waited and saved for 5 years to pay a lot of money for a new kitchen. The whole experience has taken its toll on my family and health Stay away from a Wickes installation! Give your money to a company who cares

Hi, i went to ravenside bexhill wickes at lunchtime today approx 1 pm 28/12/16, part of my purchase were 2 double sockets with usb outlets, at the checkout i found i was charged £12 each for these 8.99 items, in less than a minute i questioned my purchase showing my recipt, the person at the checkout agreed and proceeded to do the refund process, he asked for my personal details which for personal and security reasons i said i prefer not to disclose. he said he would not refund me, i asked for his manager, his manager chris, said he would not refund me, i asked to speak to his manager i was told that would be the area manager and that he would not let me contact him. i asked for customer services and was given their phone number and asked to move aside. i rang customer services who asked to speak to the manager on my phone, after several minutes, (i had been at the checkout for approx 15 minutes by then) i was told by customer services that it was an in store problem and the manager should deal with it, i asked him again whilst on the phone to customer services, he refused. i asked to speak to a manager at customer services, he said there is none avaliable and again that it was an in store problem, i asked customer services to register a complaint, he said again that it is an in store issue, the phone call ended there. i asked the manager how to complain and he said to contact customer services!!! this process had taken approx half an hour and left me overcharged without a refund. why did the manager not refund me? if he had no authorisation why did he not contact his manager? how do i get the overcharged money back? how do i stop this happening again?

Found a very helpful young lady in wickes, Greenwich. Ordered a window plus handles etc for delivery. Was told their Edith branch carried stock and that they would do the delivery. Guess what, no show and no call.eventhough they gave me timed slot of between 9-2pm. Furious as I had made arrangements that afternoon. It only takes a call to say things have changed !!!

Well I would just like to say that it took from 12 September 2016 till the 12 December 2016 to fit and make right a kitchen that is 3m by 2m .. Must say the fiter was A+ but the sales person was D- ... Signed paper work then was told sink not in stock for a mouth ... Told find one your self and we will reimburse you (what am I paying for ?!! ) so it started ! I spent so much time chasing the sales person that I could of had a desk of my own in store!! They ordered the Wong fridge And told fiter to put it in any how ... When telling one of the sales team I was told when you during it back we can order another one (not my job) ... Also told ring warehouse Or help desk because they would not talk to sales person ... One door was ordered 4 times before getting it right .. I think that I was personally project managing the instruction! For all my time running around and ring and stress and banging my head agenst a brick wall I was offered just £250 which is just 4.3% ... Attitude and customer care not at the forefront ones you have signed the paper work ( examples of this is Arranged meeting with manager through sales person... So take day off, then told manager not in after having a week to let him know about said meeting .. So as you can tell not a happy person at all ... Will not be recommending this store to any one ... :(

All I can say is it took three attempts to fit our bathroom and 9 months in time and a lot of hair pulling, and now two years on all the tap fitting and radiators are corroding, there product quality is poor, and we will have to now buy a better product from a proper bathroom supplier, as there guarantee is a year.

Wicks in Orpington,we ordered a bathroom refit back in September, total lack of communication from management in the store, in fact they are useless. Fitters not being able to fit the design, because they can't guarantee it! Fitters turning up out of the blue. Many more complaints,it's now December and just had a phone call from a guy to inspect our finished bathroom! Wicks we haven't got one!!! Zero confidence in this company. £800 deposit back please now!

Awful service from start to finish. 5 weeks after the job which was meant to last 5 days - not finished. Kitchen installer highly unprofessional. Often didnt turn up after I had taken the day off work, and when he came left after a few hours. Wrong items delivered repeatedly. I reported the fitter to HMRC fraud team after he tried to charge 20% extra to pay by bank transfer (he isn't VAT registered, of course) - this is 'company procedure' he says. Kitchen isn't finished but I want this to end, so I've told him to leave and not come back. I've now been waiting a week for the woman who is dealing with my case to call me back. In the meantime, two of her colleagues phoned to find out if I was happy with my kitchen - which my fitter has reported to them as 'finished'. No, not at all. But they will of course leave that in her hands. If she ever actually calls back. Absolutely no positive comments at all. Total time fitter spent in my house? 7 days. Total cost? £3,200. Over £450 a day to be treated like rubbish. My advice - Avoid like the plague

Ordered on Monday for job on Thursday - Courier details state FREE next day delivery. Wednesday no sign of package. Phoned they struggled to find it despatched. Only despatched today now as nothing was done with order. Urgent job now cancelled and will ruin weeks work next week. Think there is a serious problem with communication between order and courier company. Not impressed.

Terrible customer service. I wss ping pongd from customer service to store then delivery team. Told I would get call back and wasn't. All because I was sent tiles from different batch codes and i was trying to get all tiles the same. Eventually got tiles sent 5 days later and incurred additional costs as I wanted to make sure my builders don't take on other projects and leave me without a toilet and bath tub. Wickes refuse to do anything about this. Steer clear. Very unprofessional

Since changing Wickes stores to collect and pay they have completley lost the plot. Un-helpful staff who refer competent tradespeople to locate things in their 'laminated book of dreams' instead of real customer service. I will go elsewhere, either a dedicted builders merchant, electrical wholsale, plumbers merchant. Even Toolstation who have a smililar laminated book setup are far more helpful. If I want to flick through a book I will spend my time in Argos. When I want to pick up someting quickly from a building supply chain store it wont be from Wickes anymore. I tried to buy some electrical items (Some cable and sockets) I had a list in my hand. I was told that I need to look up the product codes in their book. I said I know exatcly what I want. The reply was 'look it up in the book' I said I know exatcly what I want. 'but I would have to look up the codes for you' Bad Customer Service. = No more buisness from me. Wickes used to okay. Things change.

Not a good experience, ordered a bathroom suite with P shaped bath - See here http://www.wickes.co.uk/Wickes-Priveno-with-Asuni-Right-Hand-Shower-Bath/p/144036#tab-reviews_content First thing to be aware of is that the suite is from a "supplier" not Wickes itself. On the day of delivery the Sink was missing! Was told I had to phone customer service and arrange another delivery. Had to fight to get this delivered within a few days. ( they wanted weeks") The suite itself installed ok (fitted by professionals) and quality is acceptable, until we got to the shower screen..... Firstly they sent a left hand shower seal bath kit for a right handed bath. Again I had to phone customer services, who then put me in contact with the "Kitchen and Bath" customer services so I could arrange for the correct items to be shipped. Again this took another few days to arrive as it comes from the "supplier" not Wickes (which they are keen to point out) Once fitted the shower screen leaks around the hinge. The hinge design seems poor and water can get between the seal and hinge system. I rang the "kitchen and Bathroom" services number who kept me on hold while they rang the "supplier" to see what could be done. They advised there was no answer from the supplier so they said they would email them and get back to me later that day. Needless to say no one got back to me so the next day I called again and the person I spoke to said there was no record of the initial conversation and so asked around the team. She got back to me to advise that the person who was going to call me had gone for the day and that I would be called tomorrow. Needless to say this never happened. So, a lot of clear sealant later and I think it is as good as I am going to get it without assistance from Wickes or the "supplier". Based on my experience and the issues with the shower screen I could not recommend this to anyone. My other tip would be if you choose to by anything through Wickes clarify if the item is supplied by themselves or a "supplier"
