“If I could give negative stars, I would. We tried cancelling service the night before it was scheduled because my inlaws were in town. We have a big, barky dog so I always take her to dog day care when the ladies come. This time, I didnt’ because we cancelled. Or so I thought. The team showed up as I was leaving for work. I told them we had cancelled. They left inside of 5 mins after arriving. Still got charged. I called dispatch. They said they wouldn’t refund. I asked to speak to the supervisor. The receptionist said the supervisor would call back. The supervisor never did. I called back a week later. Got the same song and dance. I again asked to speak to a supervisor and said if they were unable to refund the fee I would take my business elsewhere. They called back, but I was at work and they were scheduled to do a cleaning the next day, so I wanted to wait until after the crew came to cancel because I was concerned about shenanigans. The crew never came. I called back and the dispatcher said they didn't arrive because I threatened to terminate service. I then cancelled the service. This was after another instance where I asked to reschedule a service they charged me for and they never came, despite me taking the dog out of the house for three days.
Lousy customer service. We’ve been customers for years. There are lots of reputable cleaning services out there. Do yourself a favor and choose another one. Molly Maids doesn’t care about customers. At all.”

Speaking from a 4 year experience using them and after giving them several chances to improve I give up. Absolutely pathetic!”
“Beyond Extremely disappointed with Molly maids in Naples!! Hired for a move in clean. Had to send pictures and call it was so bad. After they sent out another crew to clean it still was disgusting! “I used Molly Maids one time last week. They sent 2 girls to clean(neither one spoke any English) and while they were cleaning, after only half an hour, one of the girls broke a very precious gift my father had given to me before he died. I was upset and called their office. The girls left without finishing and the Molly Maid manager was extremely rude to me and no apologies were given and they blamed me, not the girls. The manager, named Nancy was so rude and so unprofessional, I cried for hours! I’m definitely would NOt recommend Molly Maids to my friends or family 😞”
“I used Molly Maid for the 1st time and they brought 2 girls. While they were cleaning, one of the girls broke a very valuable and very sentimental piece that had been given to me by my father before he passed away. The manager was extremely rude, no apology and talked to me like it was my fault. The girls left without finishing the cleaning and when I called them to ask what could be done, the manager named Nancy was nasty, rude and disrespectful to me. I would NOT recommend this cleaning service to anyone !!!”
“I was not even able to schedule a cleaning of my house. Their website says my house is in their service area and gave me an 800 number to call. The person I talked to said their office didn't cover my house but gave me the number to the office that did. I called that direct line and was told I was outside of the service area.”
“I have been with Molly Maids since 2009. I am extremely dissatisfied with them and will not use them again. Additionally, to any of my friends I have referred to them, I'll let you know who I go with next so you can switch too. They are price gougers. They wanted to jack my price up nearly 30% because we remodeled our kitchen! It appears if you can afford nice things, they think they have the right to charge you more. I don't mind modest increases in prices, and have experienced them since 2009, but 30% with faulty justification is simply wrong. The girls who clean spend 1 hour 45 minutes at our home - and always have - from the time our boys were growing up to the time now, when it's just 2 of us living here and most of the house isn't even being used. Go with another company!”

lots of money just for skipping once as they want to make money...and still they don't clean properly .once i told the cleaning lady that toilet looks dirty. she took the water from the toilet bowl and cleaned the top. Such services they do. They will charge you extra money without telling you. So be careful. Never go with their service specially in Michigan. You cant trust them . They do not clean properly.They say that if its not molly maid ready..we wont clean it.If you tell them to clean the sink properly..they say it cant be done. So i had to show them how it can be cleaned. Be aware of these people and service. I would advice people to never go with their service.”

I have had a cleaner employed by them called Linda who is excellent. She was guaranteed to be my cleaner for each time.
She had been removed without a by or leave. I have been told that all their cleaners have same quality of care.
Thus is not the case.
When Linda had been in holiday the place looks like a duster not a hoover has not touched the surfaces.
A disgusting result. Cleaners like Linda do not exist at Molly Maid.
Do not use them.

“I am very disappointed in the service provided by Molly Maid in Barrie. I booked a house cleaning as part of my move to another City a month in advance to ensure the date was available. A week before my move I was contacted asking if that date could be changed and I accommodated them. I was given a quote/price in writing for the work I needed done. As I was going to be moving out of town I asked for confirmation when the cleaning had been done and some pictures.
I did not receive confirmation when the work was done. I eventually received the pictures 4 days later. A few days after the work was done I noticed my credit card had been charged 1-2 hours more than the estimate and when the owner of the house did a walk through several of the items that were to be completed hadn't been done including cleaning the oven, cupboards and window sills. It has been a week and I still haven't even received an invoice for the work that was done. I've emailed and called trying to get the information and when I finally got an answer she told me the hourly rate I was billed was higher than the rate in my written estimate. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone!”
“Used for over 1-2 yrs. At ist did fair job. Last crew of 3 came out stole my fine jewelry left the costume. Call office crew denied of course. Didn't really seem much to Teresa. “I hired Molly Maid to clean a completely empty ranch house before I moved in. As a newly single mom to two boys teaching full time during a pandemic I needed someone else to the deep clean to save time and Remove some stress from my life. I was not able to get to the new house and verify that the professionals did their job correctly because I am staying with parents while finalizing the divorce and my kids after school activities. I was also unaware of the 24 hour policy because my mom looked them up and made the appointment due to the fact that I have hard time getting things done during business hours as a teacher. When I was able to call Molly maid and let them know none of my drawers had been wiped out and my blinds were nasty and tried to explain my situation I was basically told sucks to be you. They won’t do anything because I am outside their window even though the house is still completely empty and I am Not yet living there. All I wanted was the drawers wiped out and and the blinds done like they were supposed to. The lady acted like I was trying to steal from her and I was being unreasonable. No Mam, at $238 to clean an empty house with no drawers/cabinets/blinds wiped. I was the one that was robbed. No attempt to make it better, not even an offer for a discount clean to give a second chance. Please note the extreme cobwebs on the blinds”
“Their cleaning is okay. They used to leave my shoes, chairs and things on top of my bed, though and sometimes on my pillows! However, the worse of all was that my jewelry was lost and when I contacted the owners about it they NEVER even bother to reply. Until this day I was never able to find my jewels, again. They were left in a small box in the master bathroom. Very disappointed that owner did not even bother to reply. I just let it go, but would not recommend to let this workers inside your home.”
“The estimate that they have on their website is far from accurate from what they really charge. My apartment is only 500 square feet and in a pretty good state. They did charge $400+ for the cleaning service when the high end of their estimate was ~$270. Also, I was told that they were going to call me once they were on their way but I never receive any calls from them. Also, the day after the service they called me and said that they had called me the day before to approve the over time needed and the extra $ amount needed to clean my apartment. This did not happen, nobody called me to even let me know that they were going to need so much of extra time.
AWFUL service - I will never use molly maids again for this service and I wouldn't recommend this service to anyone else.”
“They told me one price and charged me another. The condo is only 1000 square feet and after 4 hours they called to say they needed another hour. When it was all said and done, they hadn't even done the downstairs!!! They were "so upset that they couldn't finish and would have to come the next day, but charge me for the additional hours. We ended up spending $700 for a deep clean of our condo after moving out!! They said the place was in bad shape! I think they steal money by wasting time. Shame on them if that is the case!!”
“The company is run by a racist. If you are not Hispanic or do not speak fluent Spanish they will not hire you. 10 of us came home for summer break. We all had experience they would not hire any of us because we were white. The man interviewing us confirmed that. This specific place was located in a suburb of Chicago.”
“This company is stealing money. Bought a gift certificate to give as a gift and when the person tried to redeem they have been told they are booked and can not get on the list unless someone cancels. Not this week not next week not even through Christmas this year. Tried to call to get resolved and even get refund if they can not clean and no one returns calls or cares to help. They have my 100$ and no service. This is so unprofessional and a scam. DO NOT USE THEM OR EVER BUY A FRIEND A GIFT CERTIFICATE.”
