Wouldn't even give 1 star if it was an option. Recently moved house, bought a washing machine from Argos but begrudgingly had to wait a month for it to be delivered. Roll on yesterday - delivery day, finally!! Took the day off work and received an email saying delivery will be between 14:30 and 16:30 and the driver will call an hour prior, so I patiently wait. Later that afternoon I receive another email saying the time slot has been pushed due to delays and we're now looking at 18:30... Fair enough. I wait. 18:30 comes and no update. No call, no text no email. 18:45 the driver calls saying he's on his way and will be here within the hour depending on traffic..... Time ticks by and it's now gone 21:00pm. Nothing. 22:00pm. Nothing. By 23:00 I give up. This morning arrives, I ring customer service to find out what's going on, to be told, "the driver ran out of time, next delivery date will be next Tuesday"..... Wonderful šŸ˜ another day of money lost sitting around just in case you decide you can be bothered to show up. Waste of time and money!

The worse costumer service I've ever experienced. Waiting for a delivery for three days already and didn't shown up. The agent I spoke with was unprofessional, he refused to give his name and after telling him I'm not happy with his answers to my issue he just hung up the phone. Unbelievable that a company as.Argos has such an unprofessional costumer service. By the way still waiting for delivery.

The Argos in Ilford, rude staff and the store manager Jagjit patel atrocious mannerless, uneducated person, shocking he is the manager when he's not even capable of being hired as a member of staff let alone management. Called up the Ilford store regarding a faulty pan that is under 1 year warranty, the non stick came off. That Jagjit guy was talking about sending it for repair! Such nonsense, can't repair non stick coating on pans and what it said in the policy is replacement or refund as well as it being common sense. Then when I told him to give me the head office telephone number, he didn't know it and asked me to look online to get it! What's he getting paid for, being rude to customers by the looks of it. The manager is atrocious, which shows why the staff hired there are rude like him. Lazy, mannerless, rude, no common courtesy, shows their upbringing and sad lives they have. It's his job to SERVE customers and he should FIND the number and give it to customers instead of saying 'you can find it online.' No please, thank you, nothing. When I told him I was going to complain, he said 'go on then' seems like Argos doesn't take customer complaints seriously that's why they think they can continue being rude to the customers which will cost Argos. Pathetic excuse for a person. If Argos doesn't deal with the complaints seriously, it will lose customers.

Andy the store manager Lincoln Sainsbury. We Had a very upsetting experience with this manager over a faulty cleverspa hot tub refund. Argos customer service has opened a investigation on this experience and have apologised refusly on behalf of Andy and have admitted his awful unprofessional manner. They also said i have a right to a refund as its in 30 days of purchase. They have wrote all this on the order notes. Andy is still refusing refund after this and calling colleagues on the customer service line LIARS . He admitted i came in with a faulty product but he has the power as its at his discretion wether he grants a refund or not. When asked why he wouldnt refund even though this is the policy on the 30 days. He says i dont have to give a reason. This should not be happening the way we got treated was harahly unreasonable. Never witnessed that behaviour from a manager ever before. Citizens advice, trading standards, financial ombudsman have now been contacted.

I was treated disgustingly!!! Ordered a cooked and a washer on the delivery day the delivery men didnā€™t want to deliver the items so turned there phones off so we got in touch with customer services who called the boys and they said weā€™re at top of the street if they want to come collect there items, Iā€™m heavily pregnant! I phoned up customer services and rescheduled for another day waited till 9pm and they didnā€™t turn up again. I phoned again this morning and the excuse was they couldnā€™t get up my Street I have a picture on my phone of them driving past my house. Avoid at all costs!

Bought steamer sun loungers, 1st day it snapped in two. When ordering it stated suitable for delivery however on check out I had to pick them up. this was miles away as they only had limited stock. Now contacted them through chat to someone who didn't speak English and then I had to call them and was promised an email with Ā£20 refund. Not seen that yet either. Trouble is I needed them for the one sunny weekend that we get so had to sort it with wood glue and screws so probably now can't return. Poor quality for price and terrible customer services. Neither contacts were in anyway interested and indeed were preoccupied at time of contact.

I placed an order with Argos online for a TV (which I hasten to add had a 1 month lead time to get it delivered). It was due to be delivered yesterday by 18:00 (in plenty of time for the champions league final). Having heard nothing from them I decided to contact their customer service at 17:30 and was told the TV was coming. This was a lie. I then heard nothing from them. I tried tweeting their customer service but was ignored. This morning I contacted customer service - note Argos didn't try and contact me. The first person I spoke to didn't even apologise - I simply got a "computer says no" answer. I asked to speak to a manager and was refused. I then spoke to another person who at least apologised and could only offer me a suitable delivery in 2 weeks time. Having experienced recently Amazon's redelivery of failed deliveries which happened the same day I can only say Argos are caught in the past. Customer service is shocking - avoid like the plague - there is nothing Argos sell that can't be bought more easily elsewhere. Apparently the failed delivery was a "resource" issue - which suggests they knew the delivery wasn't ever coming yesterday. Reading between the lines I would say the delivery driver didn't turn up for work and they couldn't be bothered to tell me about it.

I ordered a bbq utensils set from the Parliament St store in Nottingham for collection, as I have mobility issues I asked my 28 year old daughter to collect this for me. When she arrived at the store she was asked for id as these apparently are a restricted item, unfortunately she did not have this on her at the time. I called the store to enquire why this had happened and the member of staff said he didn't know so I asked to speak to the manager, the gentleman put me on hold for over 20mins then came back and said that no one was available, and even if there was they would only give the same answer then put the phone down on me. My husband then went down to collect and was not asked for id, so he asked what the problem was earlier to be told to go online and complain. I went onto the Cs chat to inform them on events explained it all again only to be put on hold in the chat room whilst they investigated and guess what? Yes was cut off from that too. Seems argos do not care about there customers nor do they want to deal with customer queries or complaints. This will be the last time I or my family will shop with them again.

Just had a patio set delivered from Argos Web site says small items delivered to doorstep larger to your selected location. Guy arrived, unloaded to boundary and took a photo. I was waiting at open garage (4m away), he turned round and walked away. When queried he said " I've delivered it to your property" Appalling service. Glass table top moved for safety prior to taking photo.

If you're shopping at Argos please read: Bought Iphone 11 for Ā£924 for my wife back in Oct 2020 (if you're not aware customers are protected under the Consumer Law for 2 years and I am entitled for exchange). The phone is now faulty not recognising SIM card. I have been to Apple store Genius Bar Work Authorisation and they did their diagnosis and attempt to repair it however issue persisted. I have contacted Argos via phone and their dealings with this is SHOCKING!!! I have sent numerous emails to Argos and no response!! ā€¢ Phone is faulty, issue is no cellular data however when you take the SIM card out and use it on another phone it works. Problem observed Saturday 09/04 ā€¢ We have factory reset all the settings and restore from iCloud to no avail problem persisted ā€¢ On 10/04 Issue reported to 3 Network store at High Street Kensington and they advised it's a phone problem because the SIM card works on another phone ā€¢ On 11/04 been to Apple Genius Bar and problem persists despite their troubleshooting/diagnosis and attempt to repair ā€¢ On 12/04 around 3:10pm spoke with Imtinan from Customer Service, explained the situation and Imtinan advised that I go to Argos store and they will assist with my problem and that I will be offered exchange or pro-rata refund, however that was not the case and my time was wasted!! ā€¢ On 12/04 around 7pm been to Argos store at HA4 0AJ as advised by Imtinan, store staff was clueless what to do about the problem and they said phone is out of warranty and referred me to go to Apple! I then spoke with the store manager Jordan who looked up how to deal with this! He then advised me that it will take 3-4 weeks for the phone to be looked at by a third party. However I refused as my wife needs a phone and the timescale is unacceptable for an essential service. ā€¢ I then left the store and contacted Customer Service again at 19:38 and spoke to Emily who was apologetic about my experience, however she stated couple shocking things: o If I go to another store I could be treated differently and that the store could replace my phone! So am I expected to try my luck and keep trying different stores! Where is Argos regulations, processes, standards, audits? o I requested to file a complaint which Emily did and when I asked for the reference she said it's the order number, I asked when someone will look into my case and contact me she said no one and that was a shock to hear! I requested this to be escalated and to speak to a manager, she then put me through to Rebecca o Rebecca filed complaint Ref 16232239 and to speed things up I can take the phone to repair shop as advised in her email o On 13/04 I have been to a repair centre and they advised that they need to open the phone for them to do hardware inspection/diagnosis checks, however opening the phone will void the warranty and I am not comfort to proceed on this basis. I have replied and chased Rebecca and Argos customer service via emails and no response at all, it's like we don't exist to them! They're very well when it comes to customers spend money but then when we're having product issue they play deaf!! Bottom line Argos customer service lacks professionalism, knowledge of their own policies and standards I am escalating my complaint to the Retail Ombudsman on CDRL.org.uk

Found a product you've been searching for for weeks on the Argos webite at an AMAZING price??? Prepare to be disappointed .... these "bargains" are NEVER, EVER in stock! I'm sure Argos use these unfulfillable promises as a marketing tool to lure people onto their site in the hope that they end-up buying something similar at twice the price!!!

Recently got an Argos card and bought an item. I received a text a month later saying a payment was due. I was confused as I believed item was buy no pay later and had not received a statement. When I logged on I was charged an Ā£8 late fee because the item did not meet eligibility for buy now pay later so they charged me. I emailed explaining the situation and Emily responded abruptly with "there is no exceptional reason as to why the payment was late and therefore won't change the payment". WOW Argos. Your complaints team lack empathy and sounds like robots.Nice to know. Won't be supporting this business again

Hi all, I purchased 6 roller blinds for home delivery, a time was set, 5 blinds turned up, I received an email stating all 6 had been delivered by Yodel (not the best delivery company), I contacted Argos who told me the delivery had been split and I will get it later between 1pm to 3pm. I attempted to fit the other 5 blinds and found one of them bent, so I had to contact them again for a replacement (canā€™t get one for two days). About 6pm I contacted Argos AGAIN as the blind still hadnā€™t turned up, I was told delivery could be up to 9pm, sad to say it still hasnā€™t arrived. I will not be dealing with Argos again, awful experience and still has not been resolved, gat a grip Argos.
