Not impressed. Tried 5 times to get my order delivered, nobody seems to know if it's in stock or not,or where it is or anything. I've had to cancel 2 orders now,and I am not impressed.

Never have stock of anything you want, regardless of alternate store search or even if you opt for home delivery😤

I have recently purchased a spear and jackson lawn mower and net curtains from this shop i am very upset that this product was not made in Europe or Britain in Fact these items we're produced in China this information was not made clear in there product information if i had this information i would have never purchased these items i'm very disappointed with Argos because as a consumer i think and feel that i should have had the the knowledge of knowing where my purchase or future purchases are coming from and where it has been produced but it seems my rights as a consumer are void

Ordered and selected a delivery slot for 22/04. Nothing arrived, when I log into my account it says ‘sit tight’. Money was taken and no product delivered. Been trying to live chat but never goes through. Was on hold 56mins and they picked up. Was told when my item was due to be put on the van there were none available on the shelf. Its now out of stock for delivery. If I hadn't called would they have kept my money? Now been given an option to collect it from 2 stores however had no confirmation of this as yet.

Delivery fine. Its just the quality of their flat pack furniture. I bought a Kensington 5 drawer chest and bed side table. I made the bedside table first and although not impressed with the plyboard quality it looked ok when finished. The chest of drawers was another matter, with the wooden dowls already inserted, presumably by machine, the form of the plywood became compromised and the fitments that held it together pretty useless. I requested more spares as this referred to the sides of the drawers. Unfortunately the spares for this were out of stock. This has happened during lockdown with the virus and I cannot return the item at the moment. To be fair Argos have extended their guarantees but with furniture that is flat pack it is so inconvenient. You invest hours into making the stuff, find out its rubbish, and then spend more hours dismantling it? My biggest gripe are the reviews - you can't leave a review of the furniture, the reviews there are apparently independent but who knows how old they are and where they came from, they can't possibly reflect a genuine response to making this flatpack furniture since it is such poor quality and at a high enough price for you to buy it believing it can't be bad for that price!!! Wrong.

Ordered something, had window for delivery. Now pretty past that time. Wouldn't be issue if had nothing else to be doing but wait for it. Absolutely no way of getting any confirmation if it's actually on its way and to wait or if there's been a mistake and it's not actually on its way. All telephone lines on auto speech and then get cut off. Surely if we get a text to give a time and the drivers had delays (fully understand it happens) then the system should be able to automatically text us that they will be a delay. Nope. Sat here canceling work not sure if it's coming or not. Ta.

Joie baby Kubbie travel cot £99.99. I was told the mattress was 2cm thick. It is not. It's not even firm it's so swishy and thin that it sinks down without any pressure to the bottom of the mattress which is a hard surface. There is no way I can put my baby on this mattress at all without risking her getting pressure sores. I have to buy a separate mattress which is really difficult to find because no one sells them in the size it needs to be to fit this travel cot. Such a disappointment considering I paid 99.99 for it

Dont buy a laptop unless you are sure it has all the features you require,as they won't take it back and you cant get a refund if you have set it up,unless it's a manufacturers fault. Took mine back, was given a short, sharp, generic response from the staff

Buyer beware. Even after purchasing via the Argos website (ie the purchase was covered by Distance Selling Rules) they initially refused to refund a non-faulty TV, even though I'd never had the opportunity to see the TV before buying. I'd repackaged the TV well (the store assistant even said so to the manager). The manager said I could keep the TV at home for up to a month unopened, however as soon as the box was opened, there was no option to refund or returns for no fault items. I've rated Argos two rather than one, as, after much discussion, I was finally given a refund. Take my advice and buy from Amazon (who allow most returns when the box has been opened) – I just have...

I ordered bed linen on line. X 2 bed sets. X2 pillow cases. X 2 sheets. All of it came through each item as separate orders and separate order no’s. All at different times and days for collection and 10 texts and emails for each item referring to confirmations and collection info. Absolutely ridiculous. No matter how good the bargain. I’m never ordering from Argos again. Get your act together!

I ordered a fridge freezer when my old one broke down. I was very pleased when they offered next day delivery. The delivery men came as promised and left the fridge freezer in the kitchen doorway complete with packaging and left me to it! I'm 94 years old so I don't know how I would have managed if my daughter wasn't with me. She had to go and pick her husband up to assist to lift it off the polystyrene packaging. I paid extra to have the old one removed and thought the least they could have done was to remove the packaging from the new one.

Only giving two stars because of the understanding attitude of the staff who had to deal with complaint. Charged £40 after trying to reserve electric clothes dryer. The money was taken from my account which I could prove instore. No reservation number or email received. Was not allowed to have the drier unless I coughed up another £40. So £80 for one drier. Tried ringing Head office cant get through. Beginning to think I have been scammed!

Brought a Cookworks black microwave 700w. First once had faulty number pad and didn't work. Took it back and got another.. That one had a faulty turn table. Now taking that one back.. Obviously these are not reliable products. Costing us petrol to keep taking back.. and time.. No compensation or help upgrading to one that will work.

Ordered fully integrated dishwasher with installation service. Asked them to put cupboard door on when finished. First thing fitter says 'we might not be able to do it (not sure if he meant just door or installation), as we're not allowed to carry cutting equipment. It's a poor service to be honest.' I thought this is not a good start and my impression was that they just couldn't be arsed. I said I have paid £80 for this service and want a good job. I left them to it and a few moments later he nonchalantly said they couldn't get it out. There had been a leak at some point which had expanded the chipboard and now the dishwasher was stuck there. Fair enough I thought, but he didn't offer any possible solutions other than get someone else out. I can't say just how frustrating it was. For 80 quid would have thought they could overcome this problem. No 'can do' attitude at all. Then he wanted me to tick an option that said service was refused and sign it. He said I had to tick a box and that he needed a signature. I wasn't very happy to do this as not really true. Felt I had to send the whole thing back.. what's the point of having a dishwasher if I can't use it? I wanted to raise a complaint about it via phone but an automated voice said this call will cost £6 so hung up. Called customer service and told them what the fitter had said. She said ' they don't carry cutting equipment because there's no reason for them to be cutting anything.' Not what the fitter said. I didn't say anything but wasn't impressed. Argos are refunding me the money which is one good thing and they do deliver when they say they are going to. Have managed to find a cheaper dishwasher from another company and an independent plumber has quoted me £80 to come and install it. Will see what he says. Overall, the attitude from the beginning was poor so didn't trust them when they said they could not do it after about 5 minutes of looking at it. Will certainly think twice about ordering from these big firms in future.

I have had issues with Argos and their delivery service last year a total joke. Today i had placed an order and realised i had put the wrong delivery address. I contacted Customer Services, with all my details to hand, but there is nothing they can do! This person could see my order details on her screen but could not assist. In this day and age how come!?
