Delivered item not acceptable. No way of having the item collected - completely uncontactable. They should stop trading if they cannot offer correct service. Beware of ordering - you may be stuck with the purchase even if it is not acceptable or faulty.

I purchased a laptop from Argos, I asked sales lady at the counter if the laptop was windows compliant, she appeared impatient and said all their laptops were. After taking the computer home and trying it. My work confirmed it wasn't compliant. I packed it nicely as I had the package still in good condition. However, Argos staff told me I have up to 30 days and all returns were closed indefinite due to the coronaviris. I need a computer now for working at home in order to earn my wage. I can't wait for time indefinite or until the pandemic is over. I'm totally lost on what to do next after paying out £250 for something I can't use or replace. I was under pressure from work to log onto their home working system. Then mis-sold an item by an unfriendly, rude sales lady.

I had a bad experience whilst purchasing head phones yesterday. The girl wasn’t helpful at all, I was first told the items were in stock and to order over the phone, which I did. Once I had placed my order she then told me that the items wouldn’t be in stock until 4pm that day. Once I’d collected my order I then found that one of the three items didn’t work. I am now stuck with faulty items until the current crisis ends, because I have been informed they will not exchange or replace anything at the moment. Not a pleasant experience from start to finish.

BEWARE of Argos deliveries during Coronavirus isolation! Have just received a home delivery order from Argos - left on the door step because of Coronavirus self isolation and driver went back to van - drove off once I went to door. Packaging of item was damaged and, on inspection, the item had clearly been out of the packaging before - packaging damaged where it had been forced back by the previous recipient and mains cable in complete disarray - due to 'Coronavirus', Argos appear to be completely non contactable - even the delivery phone number is not being answered! Disgraceful, are Argos taking this as an opportunity to shift their shoddy goods - Shame on you Argos!

trying to get a refund from Argos is like getting blood from a stone. If you take an item out of its packet to look at they call it used. This has happened twice to me now. They used to be good at refunds which is why I used them, not now. One poor lady couldn’t hear her new phone and wanted an exchange to be told it was used and they wouldn’t even exchange. And the staff are very aggressive.

I have bought in Argos back in the pass and to be honest I have never had a single problem. However, I have just bought an item at the store but it was not good enough for me so I wanted to exchange it for a more expensive one. The package was so difficult for me to open without breaking the box, so I went to the Argos shop to be informed that I could not exchange this because of the package. I was given the excuse that every other retail company has the same rules, when that is not true at all. Also, another excuse that I was given in customer services is that I should have read the rules on the website (well surely I should not). It is a shame for a company like Argos not to accept a return when the customer is saying that she was literally not able to open the box due to the difficult packaging. I don’t know what has happened to Argos customer service.

On friday 13th of march 2020 around 11.30 a male member of staff at Morfa Shopping Park, Swansea was very rude and the customer service here is appalling I took a product back with my receipt as the product was faulty by no fault of my own (mobile phone) and was accused of taking a different product back that wasn't from argos but It was. While in store the staff member embarrassed me and continued to call me a liar in front of other customers. The issue was resolved through customer services and I received a replacement phone. If I could buy a product hundreds of pounds cheaper in argos I still wouldn't buy a product from there again.

Avoid buying large items from this uncaring, incompetent company. The staff are like robots, they cannot think for themselves. I had so much trouble over a bed which was only 10 months old. The small print says 1 year guarantee. They refused to do anything about it when it broke. I despise this company for the way that they treated me. I have since learned that they are the same with most items of significant value. Once they have your money they are keeping it. Greed is what spurs this company on. AVOID or risk losing your money. I am so disappointed. They wanted me to spend another £300 on an independent technician. It was so soon after Christmas, I didn't have the cash. Shame on them.

Buyer Beware Argos returns policy is impossible to comply with. I purchased a product from Argos. I opened the box took the item out and decided I liked it so much that I wanted another one. I went on line to order another one and noticed it had been reduced to half the price. Brilliant I thought! I will return to Argos and get another while getting a ‘refund & re sell’ as they advertise they do that. I had only had the product 24hrs so well within 30 day ‘refund’ policy. They refused because the box had been opened. Ok I said I will purchase a new one at the reduced price, not open the box & use my higher price receipt to return it. I said I am sure your ‘refund & re sell’ policy is in place to stop us all having to waste time like that though. They refused to sell me another & threatened to call the police if I didn’t leave the shop. 🤨 What an embarrassing waste of police time that would of been so I left the shop with an address to write to as I was told they do not have an email for complaints. I wrote to the address giving my email should they wish to reply by email ( which I was told they didn’t have) Of course I got a response by email so to me that demonstrates another tactic Argos use to make it difficult to complain and get them to honour what they say they do. 30 day returns policy - not in my experience Refund & re sell - not in my experience Argos 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
