I needed a replacement of a child’s baby walker as the first one was faulty. The lady who helped me, Gemma, was extremely helpful. In fact, I have dealt with her before and always appreciated her friendliness, understanding and professionalism. In fact, I have generally found other workers at this branch, Treliske, Truro, to behave likewise.

# AvoidArgos .... My advice is, do not get an Argos Card ! Why ? They charge you £12 if you miss a payment, even if you tried contacting them, they effectively call you a liar and refuse to remove the charges. 40 years a customer, never again Argos are a disgrace in my opinion, if i could rate the company a minus score i would. #AvoidArgos

I made few orders and went to collect from Argos Wood Green. When I got there a lady by the name of Esperance attended to me. I deceived to cancelled one order and made new order; she was so patient, very helpful, kind, professional all the way through my encounter. She was all round lovely. I commend her.

Online ordering is awful. 'In stock" is pointless. It's means there's one, SOMEWHERE. Usually 100miles from the nearest town. Can deliver to one post code but not another? Need a better delivery system. Told online to 'order in your local store' - that staff in my local store had no idea how to do this. Website is poor and glitchy. Staff in store however have always been very helpful.

Delivery driver very rude . I am a pensioner and he just dumped a double mattress and bed inside front door. Told to check mattress before accepting but driver gone in a matter of seconds so no chance to check it . Would not order large items from argos again.

LUKE the manager of my store which he quoted has a very bad attitude in dealing with an issue his cashier had no clue what she was talking about . I was asked fir a PayPal card for a refund ... PayPal card !!!!! LUKE decided to come intimidate me with his aggressive, unprofessional approach with his chest out showing who's in charge .. BADBOY will get him self in trouble if he acted this way outside. No SIR no nothing , just are you waiting for a refund I said are you talking yo me he replied who else do you think I'm talking too ... need to act your position with professionalism and at times give an apology , but let all your staff know there is NO PayPal cards ..

Bought a mobile phone but did not like the look of it so did not fully open it. I returned to the shop and was told that mobile phones coud not be refunded which is a load of rubbish when it is hardly open. I told the woman she was wrong and she insisted she was not wrong at all. A supervisor came over and literaly told me he was not sure about it. I was not in the mood for an argument so came home and made a call to the office and was informed that I should go back to the store and give his name and he would get in touch with them to give them the correct facts. I got a refund after all. I do not like buying goods from them as they never just swap or refund an item without trying to make you feel you are an awkward customer. Terrible staff, Grimsby store. They need a smile in their pay packets to wear every day !!

You need a good clear out with rude and bad mannered staff who lack excellent communication and listening skills, does Argos employ inexperienced staff members that only know how to say no, they have no experience in dealing with customers who need to return an item that is faulty, have no general knowledge of there own terms and conditions and like to make stuff up in there little peanut brains, if a customer wants to return a faulty item they have the right to do so, can’t say just because the box has been opened you can’t return it, the disturbed staff member who looks miserable and lacks confidence didn’t know what to say after coming up with ridiculous statements, his breath was really bad behind the mask, smelled of saliva mixed with faeces, the staff member was talking rubbish so it explains why his filthy mouth was smelling, people like him that makes Argos a nightmare , either Argos steps up and trains it’s staff properly or shut down your stores, no good hiding in Sainsbury’s now or is this ur last move before you actually shut down your stores , if you can’t sort ur staff out then I hope omicron puts you out of business !!!

Yesterday the delivery man from Argos delivered 3 big parcels when there was actually 5. When I called him to ask him were the other 2 was he said its not his problem to call Argos. When he delivered them I was at work and my husband was at home with our 3 year old. The driver called me at work and told me to come down and help him take the boxes to our flat on 2nd floor (lift available) I told him I was at work and my husband can't leave our 3 year old unattended in the flat its against the law. He became rude and aggressive and started threatening me telling me he will leave my order on the side of the street. When I explained to him not to do that since I paid for them £350 +order) he said that wasn't his problem. I literally begged him not to leave them on the street and my son needs his new bed, he has eczema. Again the driver told me its not his problem. I explained to him if he was unavailable to deliver heavy goods why didn't he organise with his manager to have 2 delivery man? I told him my husband did not sign up for this job and he cant leave our 3 year old unattended. The delivery man just wouldn't understand and continued threatening me. I feel bad for my 3 year old he was so excited about his new bed only to be disappointed since 2 parcels (part of the bed) was not delivered and on top we threw his old bed away. When the driver delivered the 3 out of 5 boxes he was rude to my husband, mouthy and he was in a great rush to leave when my husband asked where is the other 2 boxes, the driver didn't response, just left.

I purchased some furniture for delivery 2 weeks later, which was today. Argos has refused to uphold their end of the deal by delivering any of the furniture to me, and they have also failed to refund my money. I do think I am entitled to receive either my money back or the furniture I paid for. The manager I spoke to (Jacob) was rude and hostile from the beginning and he seemed to take great delight in telling me that there is literally nothing I can do about this, and I will just have to wait until they are ready to give my money back to me. He seemed to really enjoy the thought that I have been put in a difficult position where I won’t have any furniture over Christmas, and no money to buy any from somewhere else. Also, Jacob told me that the only way to escalate my complaint is to write a letter to head office and send it via the post, as they have neither an email address or a telephone number! I don’t know what kind of a service Argos is attempting to provide, but I think it’s safe to say they have failed.

Appalling customer service. No formal complaints service. I had a failed delivery which was a large set of shelves - spoke to the delivery driver on the day and I apologised for not being home. I explained that I had tried to re-arrange the delivery the evening before but the agent said it was out for delivery and the depot would re-arrange. I heard nothing. Two weeks later I called Argos and was told that the item was marked as delivered. Upon investigation, I was told that the photograph the delivery driver took only indicated the front on my property - no item there. It was decided that the driver had proven he had visited but had incorrectly stated it was delivered and that I would get a refund as it could take some time to locate the item - then I could re-order. I heard nothing and after 2 weeks I phoned Argos (today) and this is what they said: management advised you take this matter legal as you did not contact us about the item since the delivery. They implied that the item could have been stolen. Having spoken to the delivery driver on the morning of the failed delivery who said he would return it depot led me to question their logic. Why should I take it legal if they suspect theft - I need details of their delivery driver to report a suspected theft to the police. See how ridiculous that sounds! They will not provide a refund unlike what they had told me previously. Well done Argos!! You have both my money and the original item.
